Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. He was also going to see Grandma later on and going to the pub and returning to Blurton for the weekend. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. whilst waiting to go out we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX outside.

Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and onto Christchurch Street. At the day centre In the morning Matthew went bowling in Festival Park in an Lucky Seven. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill onto the A52 and under the railway line, before turning right onto the Northbound A500. We ran North up to Etruria and we turned right onto the A53. We ran Eastwards up to Festival Park and we turned left onto Forge Lane. At the end of Forge Lane we turned right onto Festiavl Way. At the roundabout we turned left onto Marina Way and we parked up at the car park. Matthew went into the bowling alley and went to the toilet. After a session bowling we returned to Fenton. We set off onto Marina Way and we turned right at the roundabout. We went under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We stopped briefly at a carpet shop and we saw a new building going up on the site of the old loop line. We joined the anti-clockwise ring road. We ran around town and we joined the Southbound A50. At Joiners Square we went straight on onto Victoria Road. We climbed the hill into Fenton and we continued forwards onto King Street. We turned left onto Park Street and we stopped to pick up dinner. After we brought the food we ran along Park Street and we turned right onto King Street. We ran forwards onto City Road and we turned left onto Glebedale Road and back to the day centre. For dinner Matthew had sausage, chips and gravy followed by a Bakewell Tart. After dinner Matthew watched a DVD. When it was time to return to the residential unit We set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. I was already waiting to take Matthew back to Blurton for the weekend when Matthew got back to the residential unit. Matthew went upo to his room to get his pictures on his camera to take back to Blurton and got a small bag of belongings ready to go back. Just before 15:00 we set off back to Blurton in a car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Station Bridge Road and we continued onto Heron Street. We went through the traffic lights and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton along Blurton Road and we turned right onto Church Street. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive past the new build house and we got home around 15:15. When we got home Matthew had toast and a small can of Coke. Today we were catching the 15:56 to Newcastle as we were going to the pub via Grandma's House. We set off around 15:45 on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. At the bus stop we saw First Potteries 67637 on a #22 to Longton.

We also saw grey minibus SF17 HCU going into Blurton.

A few minutes later pretty much on time we saw the bus turn the corner. As it got closer we saw that it was required First Potteries 67653.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle and as we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035 and we went over the railway line into Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane. Du to roadworks in Hanford instead of turning left into Wilson Road we ran down Mayne Street down to the A34. We headed into Trent Vale passing Newcvastle School minibus HJ60 KXH going the other way. We turned right into Harpfields Road and forwards on Hilton Road. As we travelled through the hospital we saw Abbey Taxi's V700 ABY, ABC Supreme DU60 XTB & D&G bus 161 on a #9 to Biddulph. We turned right onto the A34 and we saw First Potteries 37157 on a #25 to Hanley. A couple of stops down the road we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over A34 and we headed up the hill and we saw blue minibus BD58 UHT.

We headed up the hill to Grandma's House. At Grandma's Matthew had a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. Mum was working away so we were going to meet uncle Dave at the pub. We said goodbye to Grandma around 17:30 and grandad gave us a lift to the pub in his car. We set off onto Victoria Street and we saw white minibus YK08 PVA. We turned left onto the A34. We ran down into Trent Vale where we saw First Potteries 67603 on the final #22 turn going towards Longton. We stopped at the pub and after had had said goodbye to grandad and meet up with uncle Dave we went inside. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with custard. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included ABC Supreme KX13 DZL going Southwards as well as D&G 136 running out of service. We also saw First Potteries 37146 on a #101 to Hanley. Once we had finished eating we went out to catch a bus towards home. We had missed the last #22 to Blurton by 5 minutes and since the timetable change the last bus of Newcastle is 18:09! We decided to catch a bus as far as Trentham and walk the rest of the way. We crossed over london Road and we waited at the stop opposite the pub. A few minutes later the bus appeared as expected and it was First Potteries 67152.

We got on the bus and we booked to the Trentham Hotel before we sat down to wards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A34 and we went under the A500 into Hanford. We turned left onto Church Lane and we ran up to the top of the hill. We turned right into Wilson Road and at the end we turned left onto New Inn Lane. We ran down the hill past the Man in Spcae and forwards onto the A5035. We headed left and we stopped out side the Trentham Hotel where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew got another picture of First Potteries 67152 before it returned to Hanley on the last #21A of the evening.

Once we let the bus go we headed along the A5035 towards Blurton. Before we crossed over the border we saw D&G Bus 33 running out of service.

We crossed over the railway line into Blurton and we continued past the Hem Heath pub and the Newstead Industrial estate. We turned into the estate and we got home around 19:15. Back at Blurton we wrote e-mails and worked on the Blog. Matthew had a bottle of Coke and a glass of shandy as well as a bag of Frazzles. We then chilled out watching music videos on the television and Matthew went to be d aroun 00:30... Mark
