Trip to Grimsby 27-04-2026

Today we were returning from our short break in Lincolnshire. Matthew woke up around 08:00 and had his medication. He got up just after 09:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We packed up our things and we left the caravan around 10:00. We got in the car and we set off out of the camp site onto Anthony's Bank Road. We ran forwards onto the A1098 and we turned right onto Central Promenade. We were going to stop to buy some candy floss, but the shop was shut so we turned left onto Sea Road and right onto the A1098. We turned left just after the pier and we followed the A1098 to the edge of town. We veered right onto the A180 and we headed towards Grimsby. We stopped to put some ptrol in the car before continuing along the A1098. On the edge of town we turned left onto Freeman Street and we park on the short stay parking at the side of the road. We headed into the YMCA for an early lunch. Matthew had an English Brekfast washed down with a can of Coke. Whilst we ate we watched the buses go past. Highlight of the bus included Stagecoach East Midlands 19393 on a #3 to Cleethorpes. When we had finished eating Matthew went to the toilet before we went to the shop across the road. On the way to the shop we saw Stagecoach East Midlands 21272 on a #9 to Old Clee.

We returned to the car. We set off along Freeman Street and we turned right into Albert Street West and we turned right onto Railway Street. We turned right onto Church Street and left onto Freeman Street. We turned left onto the A180 and we ran out of town. A few miles later we ran forwards onto the M180. We ran West towards Stainforth and we joined the Southbound M18. We ran to the South of Doncaster and we joined the Southbound M1. We stopped for a brief break at Woodall Services. We got out of the car and we saw grey minibus VW15 ACE parked up.

We walked into the building and Matthew went to the toilet. We got back into the car and Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. We rejoined the Southbound M1. We ran through the roadwork for several miles. On the M1 we saw an unidentifled Johnson coach. We came off the M1 and junction and we headed Westwards along the A50. As we travelled along the A50 we saw blue minibus SF19 CEA. We continued Westwards along the A50 and ran Westwards towards Uttoxeter and Blythe Bridge. We continued past Longton and we came off the A50 at Heron Cross. We turned right onto Blurton Road and left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Whieldon Road. We stopped at uncle Dave's and Matthew used the toilet and updates uncle Dave's calendar with the details of the weekend. We said goodbye and we set off onto Wheildon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton. turned right onto Church Road and we turned right onto the A5035 and we got back to Blurton around 14:30. Matthew chilled out on his computer. Matthew chilled out on his computer. Matthew had Iron brew washed down with a can of Shandy. We wrote some Blog and afterwards Matthew returned to the residential unit. We got in the car and we set off through Burton and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive where we saw gold minibus DE04 FNZ parked up. We turned left onto Church Street and left onto Blurton Road. We went through the traffic lights onto Heron Steeet. We carried on forwards onto Station Bridge Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Masterson Street and we saw Stafford & District Community Link LA72 DDU. We turned right onto Watkin Street and we continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room and we put all his shopping in his cupboard or in the kitchen. Matthew chilled out on his computer and watched buses out of the window. Matthew chilled out in his room and we saw Shelton Care Group FP75 DZB outside. For tea Matthew had pizza and chips followed by a Toffee sponge pudding and custard. Washed it down with a can of Cherry Coke.

Today we decided to stay local to Cleethorpes and go after the 2 open top buses that are currently working locally. Matthew woke up at 07:00 and had his medication at 08:00. Matthew got up at 09:00 and had crumpets and orange juice for breakfast. He also tried some pineapple juice! just after 10:00 we got in the car and we set off out of the holiday park. We ran forwards onto the A1098 and we ran into Cleethorpes. We turned right onto Sea Road and left onto North Promenade. We parked up and we walked to a nearby cafe. Matthew had a sausage bap washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished I went to fetch the car and Matthew went with mum and uncle Dave into the shop next door. Matthew bought a sun hat. They came out of the shop and I drove up to pick them up. We set off alonng North Promenade and we turned right onto Sea Road. We got out of the car and we said goodbye to mum. We crossed over the road and we waited for a bus. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 19044 on a #4 to Bradley.

We got on the bus and we bought a Grimsby Dayrider at £6 before we went upstairs. The rear off the top deck was empty, so Matthew took a picture inside of Stagecoach East Midlands 19044 before we sat down.

We set off along Sea Road and we did a u turned at the roundabout We turned left onto the A1098 and we turned right onto Knoll Street. We ran forwards onto Cambridge Street and we turned left onto St Peter's Avenue. We turned right onto Highgate and we crossed over Trinity Road onto Sandringham Road. We crossed the roundabout onto Davenport Drive and we turned left onto the A46. We turned right onto Clee Crescent and we ran forwards onto Carr Lane. We turned left onto Durban Road and we turnd right onto Ladysmith Road. We continued onto Pasture Street and we turned right onto the B1213. We turned left onto the A1136 and we turned left onto Victoria Street East. We turned left onto Town Hall Street and we stopped at the exchange and we continued onto Osbourne Street. We ran forwards onto Church Lane and we turned left onto the A1136. We crossed over the railway line and at the roundabout we followed the A1136 to the right. We followed the A1136 left at the roundabout and we turned left onto the B1444. We crooed the roundabout and we turned right onto St Michael's Road. We turned right onto Pershore Avenue and we turned left onto Broadway. We turned right onto the A46 and we ran to the roundabout before turning around 180@ and pulling up outside of McDonalds were we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 19044 before it returned on a #3 to Cleethorpes.

Once off the bus we walked past McDonalds and we headed to Morrisons. We continued into Morrisons and Matthew went to the toilet. We bought some a chocolate bar and a snall millionaire's shortcake and a bottle of Coke. We went outside and we headed to the bus stop. Whilst we waited for the bus to be readied to service Matthew had the millionaire's shortbread. When the bus was ready we headed towards the bus. We saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 10916 on a #3 to Cleethorpes.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Grimsby Day Rider tickets to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off along A46 and we turned right onto Winchester Avenue. We ran a loop and we turned right onto Sutcliffe Avenue. We ran to the end and we turned left onto the A1243. We turned right and we continued along the A1243. We ran Northwards for around 1/2 mile and we ran forwards onto the A1136. We turned right at the roundabout and we followed the A1136 into town. We crossed the level crossing and we turned right onto Church Lane. We continued onto Bethlemhem St and forwards onto Osbourne Street. We turned left onto George Street and right onto Victoria Street West. After a brief stop, the driver anounced that we would be going to the depot and swapping buses. We continued along Victoria Street West and we ran forwards onto Victoria Street South. We crossed over the A1136 onto the A16 and we stopped outside of the bus garage. We got up and got off the bus and waiting in the entrance of the depot was Stagecoach East Midlands 26273.

We got on the bus and we sat down at the back. The bus was a little warm as it had sat in the sun all morning with the windows shut! We turned right out of the depot and we turned left onto the A1136. We turned left onto the B1213 and e ran past the YMCA. We turned right onto the A180 and we ran into Cleethorpes. After a couple of miles we ran forwards onto the A1098. We followed the road to the right and we turned left onto Sea Road where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we got an ice cream and we walked onto the beach. We walked underneath the pier and back onto the Central Promenade. We walked onto Sea Road and we waited for a bus towards Grimsby to head off a bus we wanted to ride on. A short time later a bus appeared around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 19017 on a #3 to Bradley.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Grimsby Day Rider tickets to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off along Sea Road and we did a u turned at the roundabout We turned right onto the A1098 and we turned left to follow the road out of town. We ran forwards onto the A180 and we headed towards Grimsby. We turned left onto Freeman Street and right onto Ellis Way. We crossed the A16 and we turned left onto Victoria Street South. We turned left onto Town Hall Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 19017 before it continued towards Bradley.

Once off the bus we had a walk around town. We walked alongside the dock and over the A1136 and the river Freshney. Wer walked opposite to the Stagecoach bus garage. We headed back to the square and we turned right onto the pedestrian area of Victoria Street West. We went to the pub and Matthew used the toilet. Afterwards we went to the bar and we ordered drinks. Matthew had a small glass of Coke. After we had finished our drinmks we headed outside and around the corner into Freshney Place shopping centre. We went into Poundland and we bought some snacks for later on. We returned to the square and we met up with uncle Dave. We walked around the corner to stand B and we waited for the #8. Whilst we waited we saw Stagecoach East Midlands 19207 on a #6 to Cleethorpes.

A few minutes later our bus appeared from around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 19206 on a #8 to Cleethorpes pier as expected.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Grimsby Day Rider tickets to the driver. The lower saloon was empty so Matthew took a picture inside of Stagecoach East Midlands 19206 before we went upstairs.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Grimsby Day Rider tickets to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off along George Street. We turned right onto Victoria Street West and we turned right onto Town Hall Street. We turned righ into Town Hall Square and we ran forwards onto Osbourne Street. We turned left onto the A1136 and we crossed over the railway line. We ran forwards onto the A1243 and we headed Southwards. We turned right onto Westwards Ho and we turned right onto Chelmsford Avenue. We turned left onto the A46 and we headed Eastwards. We turned right and we rejoined the Southbound A1243. We turned right into the hospital ground and after a brief stop we re-joined the Southbound A1243. We ran through Scartho and we joined the Southbound A16. We turned left onto the B1219 and we ran through New Waltham. We continued into Humberstone and we joined the Northbound A1031. We ran up to the Country Club and we turned right onto North Sea Lane. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A1098. We ran past the boating Lake and leisure centre, and we we got closer to the cente of Cleethorpes we decided to get up and get off the bus. Once of the bus Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 19206 as it continued towards Cleethorpes Pier.

Once off the bus we saw on the live display the the cleethorpes bound #17 wasnot due for 20 minutes. We could see the other bus stopped at stop D in the distance. We headed into the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we had a glass of Coke and we sat outside. After we finished we returned the glass to the bar. The Thorpe Park bus was still at the stop in the distance, so we decided to go after this bus first. We crossed over the road and we waited for a couple of minutes. We saw the bus set off in the distance and we a few moments later it pulled up at the stop. We saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 16965 as expected on the #17 to Thorpe Park.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Grimsby Dayrider to the driver before we sat down towards thr back of the bus. The bus had a very loud sound system, and it was playing song's from the 70's. We set of Eastwards along the A1098. We ran past the leisure centre, the boating lake and the smallest pub in the world and at the end of the main road we ran into the campsite. We went past reception and continued towards the end of the run. At the end of the run we flashed the tickets to the driver again as we wanted to go back into Cleethorpes and get a ride on the other open top bus. I sat back down and the driver chnaged the music over to the 80's. We set off through the campsite and we were only a couple of songs in before we got Rick Rolled! We ran forwards onto the A1098 and we ran the 2 miles or so into Cleethorpes. We turned on the roundbout at the juntion of Sea Rode and we came to a rest a stand D. Once off the bus Matthew got another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 16965 as it waited time before working the next service into Thorpe Park.

We had about 40 minutes before the following bus, so we headed to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterward he had a small glass of Coke. We came back out and we met up with uncle Dave. We sat in the small park and Matthew had a few Biscoff biscuits. When we had finished eating, we walked back to stand D. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It turned at the roundabout and we saw it was as expected Stagecoach East Midlands 16962 on a #17 to Thorpe Park.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Grimsby Dayrider to the driver for the final time today before we went upstairs and sat down. We waited for time and at 17:35 we set of Eastwards along the A1098. We ran past the leisure centre, the boating lake and the smallest pub in the world and at the end of the main road we ran into the campsite. We went past reception and we rang the bell. The bus stopped ouside of the fishing lake and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 16962 before it continued towards the end of the run.

Once of the bus we called mum, and it turns out she was still in Cleethorpes with the caravan key. We walked up to the bus stop outside of reception and a few minutes later she drove up to pick us up. We got in the car and we set off out of the campsite. We ran forwards onto the A1098 and we headed towards the centre of Cleethorpes. We stoped near to Willy's bar and I went to the chips shop. We got the chips and I got back into the car and we did a u-turn and we headed back into the campsite. After we parked up we got out of the car and went into the caravan. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy with some bread and he washed it sown with a can of Dandelion & Burdock. He also had a slice of chocolate fudge cake. We wrote the Blog and we did an e-mail. Matthew watched some YouTube and afterwards had a shower. Matthew chilled out on the laptop until bedtime around 23:30... Mark.

Today was the first full day of our Lincolnshire holiday. We asked Matthew where he wanted to go, and from the area he chose to visit Skegness. Research consisted of looking at the bus tickets on the Stagecoach website and checking the weather, which was for warm dry weather with some sunshine. Matthew wook up at 07:00 and lay in bed on his phone. He had his medication at 08:00 and he got pout of bed at 09:00. Matthew had crumpets and orange juice for breakfast. just after 10:00 we set off out of the campsite and we turned left onto North Sea Lane. We turned left onto Church Avenue and we ran South through Humberstone. We continued onto Tetney Road and we ran into Tetney. We ran forwards onto Chapel Road and we ran out of town Eastwards past the golf course. We joined the A16 and we headed Southwards. We ran through Waithe and Utterby and we ran to the West of Louth. on the South side of Louth we ran forwards onto the A157. At the next roundabout we ran forwards onto the B1200 and we ran into Manby. We turned right onto Calrton Road and we stopped at the community cafe in town. Matthew went to the toilet and we ordered the food. Matthew had a breakfast washd down with a can of Coke. He also had a lemon meringue which we had as a take away for later on. When we had finished eating we got back in the car and we set off onto Carlton Road. We turned left onto the B1200 and we headed Westwards. We ran forwards onto the A157 and we turned right onto the Southbound A16. We ran forwards onto the A1028 and as we got closer to town we ran forwards onto the A158. On the edge of town we turned right onto Lincoln Road and we veered left onto Grosvenor Road. We crossed the A52 and we ran forwards onto Scarborough Road. We ran around the church and we turned right onto Rutland Road. We ran forwards onto Beresford Avenue and we turned right onto Sandbeck Avenue. My phone decided to not give directions from this point so we ended up making a wrong turn! We turned left Richmond Drive and we ran around in a big loop via Drummond Road. We turned left onto Sandbeck Avenue aand we turned right onto Richmond Drive. We ran past the interchange and we turned right into Skegness Cricket Club. We parked up by the cricket club and we said goodbye to mum before headed over Richmond Drive to the Interchnage. On the way we saw Stagecoach East Midlands 37200 on a #1 to Ingoldmells.

We headed into the Interchange and we had a look around to see what we could catch. We decided to do one of the local services. As we got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 10054 on a #2A Skegness circular.

We got on the bus and we booked Skegness Day Rider tickets at £6.60 before we went upstairs. The rear of the top deck was empty so Matthew took a picture inside of Stagecoach East Midlands 10054 before we sat down.

We set off out of the interchange and we turned right onto Richmond Drive. We continued onto Seacroft Drive and we turned left onto Drummond Road. We turned right onto Lumley Road and left onto Grand Parade. We ran forwards onto North Parade. We turned left onto Castleton Boulevard and we ran forwards onto Burgh Road. We ran forwards onto Burg Old Road and we turned right onto beacon Way. We turned right onto Beacon Park Road and we turned left onto Portland Drive. We turned right onto Davos Way and right onto Finisterre Avenue. We turned left onto Beacon Park Drive and we turned right onto Churchill Avenue. We turned right onto Burgh Road and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 10054 as it continued around the route.

Once off the bus we crossed over Burg Road and we went to the shop. We bought a bottle of Coke and a couple of chocolate bars. Once we had paid for the goods we went outside an we walked to the bus stop. Matthew had a Twirl and we had about 7 minutes to wait for the bus. A short time later the bus came around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 12052 on a #2 Skegness circular service.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Skegness dayrider ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off along Burgh Road and we ran forwards onto Castleton Boulevard. We turned right onto North Parade and we ran forwards onto Central Parade. We turned right onto Lumley Road and left onto Drummond Road. We turned right onto Seacroft Drive and we ran forwards onto Richmond Drive. We ran past the Interchnage and we turned left onto Wainfleet Road. We turned right onto Berry Way. We turned right onto Lincoln Road and Right onto Roman Bank. We ran forwards onto Richmond Drive and we ran past the interchnge again before turned right into the interchange. We passed the bus layover area and we entered the interchange where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked to the railway station and Matthew used the toilet. We cut back through into the interchnage and we deicded to get on the #1 circuit to try and get a few open top buses. As we got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 12053 on a #1 to Chapel St Leonards.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Skegness dayrider ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the interchange and we turned right onto Richmond Drive. We continued onto Seacroft Drive and we turned left onto Drummond Road. We turned right onto Lumley Road and left onto Grand Parade. We ran forwards onto North Parade. We turned left onto Sea View Road and we turned right onto the A52. We ran though Seathorne and we ran past Butlins whwre we saw Danny's Travel DT10 BUS. We turned right onto Roman Bank and we ran past Fantasy Island. We ran up to Ingoldmells Beach and we turned left onto Anchor Lane. We turned right onto the A52 and we headed Northwards. We turned right onto Trunch Lane and we continued onto South Road. We ran into the centre of Chapel St Leonards and we turned left onto Sea Road before turning right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 12053 before it returned to Skegness on the #1 service.

Matthew wanted a drink so we headed to the nearest pub. Matthew used the toilet, but the pub was cash only, so we went back to uncle Dave to borrow some cash. We went back into the pub and Matthew had a glass of Coke. We sat in the darts area and we had our drinks. Once we had finished our drinks we decided to meet back up with unclke Dave and walk to the beach. We saw Stagecoach East Midlands 15616 depart on a #59 to Mablethorpe. We walked along The Pullover and we went onto the beach. The tide was out and it was about 1/4 to the sea. We reached the sea and after a brief stop we walked back into town. We stopped on the way and we bought an ice cream with a flake. We sat on a bench and Matthew ate his ice cream. We walked back along THe Pullover and we we stopped at the public toilets before going into the bus station. As we got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 12036 on a #1 to Skegness.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Skegness dayrider ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the bus station and we turned right onto Ancaster Avenue. We ran forwards onto South Road and we ran forwards onto Trunch Lane. We turned left onto the A52 and we headed Southwards. We turned left onto Anchor Lane and we headed to Ingoldmells Beach. We followed thr oad to the right onto Roman Bank and we ran past Fantasy Island. We re-joined the Southbound A52 and we ran into Seathorne where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew got another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 12036 as it continued towards Skegness.

Once off the bus we headed into the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and aftrewards sat down on a table whith uncle Dave whilst I got the drinks in. Matthew had a small glass of Coke. After we had finished our drinks we went outside. We had a look on the map at what buses where heading Southwards. We saw Stagecoach East Midlands 1174 on a #59 to Skegness. A few minutes later the bus we wanted to catch appeared. As it got closer we saw it was Hunt's SB02 on a #7 to Skegness.

We got on the bus and we bought a single to Skegness at £1.60 before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Roman Bank and we joined the Southbound A52. We ran past Butlins and we turned left onto Sea View Road. We turned right onto North Parade and we headed Southwards. We continued onto Central Parade and we turned turned right onto Lumley Road. The bus terminated on Lumley so we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we headed into Greggs. We bought a can of Coke, sausage rolls and a fammy heart biscuit. We walked along Lumley Road and Matthew ate one of the sausage rolls. We crossed over Richmond Drive and we headed into the interchange. As we got there we spotted another bus about to head out. As we got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 19169 on a #1 to Chapel St Leonards.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Skegness dayrider ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the interchange and we turned right onto Richmond Drive. We continued onto Seacroft Drive and we turned left onto Drummond Road. We turned right onto Lumley Road and left onto Grand Parade. We ran forwards onto North Parade. We turned left onto Sea View Road and we turned right onto the A52. We ran into Seathorne and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 19169 before it continued towards Chapel St Leonards.

We crossed the road and we waited for a bus back into town. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 12047 on a #1 to Skegness.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Skegness dayrider ticket to the driver for the final time today before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off along Roman Bank and we joined the Southbound A52. We ran past Butlins and we turned left onto Sea View Road. We turned right onto North Parade and we headed Southwards. We continued onto Central Parade and we turned turned right onto Lumley Road. We turned left onto Richmond Drive and we ran past Lidl before entering the Interchange from the West end. We got up and got off the bus. Matthew got another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 12047 before it worked a #1 to Ingoldmells.

We headed into the railway station and Matthew used the toilet. We crossed over Richmond Drive and we headed into the cricket club and we met up with mum at the car. We got in the car and Matthew had a sausage roll and a part bottle of Cherry Coke. He also had the Lemon Meringue from earlier on. We set off out of the car park onto Ricmond Drive and we joined the A52. We turned right onto Croft Bank and we turned right onto Mount Pleasant. We turned left onto Northolme and we turned right onto the Northbound B1195. We ran through Irby in the Marsh and we turned right onto Mill Lane. We turned right onto Gunby Lane and we ran through Gunby. We turned right onto the A158 and left onto the A1028. We ran to Ulceby Cross and we joined the Northbound A16. We ran along the Louth Bypass and we ran through Utterby. As we travlled Nortwards we passed PC Coaches Y30 PCC. We reached the New Waltham and we turned right onto the A1098. We turned left onto Humberstone Road and I turned around and head back the other way as I had made a wrong turn! We ran forwards onto North Sea Lane and we turned right onto Anthony's Bank Road. We headed inti the campsite and we parked up. When we got back Matthew had his medication and we did the Blog. I went out to get some chips but the chips shop shut at 20:00! Matthew had a ham sandwich, a bag of Frazzle and a Vienese Whirl. we wrote an e-mail and we chilled out in the caravan until bedtime at 00:00... Mark

Today Matthew was going on Holiday, but first he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up at 08:00 and had his medication. For breakfast Matthew had crumpets washed down with orange juice. Matthew chilled out in his room until it was time to go out. We saw minibus . Later on we went downstairs and we set off on foot to the bus stop. We cut through from Temple Street to City Road and we walked to the bus stop by the flats. We waited for a bus towards Newcastle. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 6008 on a #1A to Wood Lane.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw Travel Express HF64 AJU. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once in NMewcstle we went to the toilet. Afterwards we headed back to the bus station to catch another bus. We decided to head to Tunstall via Talke. We waited for a bus. A short time later we saw a bus coming onto the stand. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63111 on a #38 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Tunstall before sitting down towards the back of the bus. set of out of the bus station onto Barracks Road and at the roundabout we turned left onto Ryecroft. At the roundabout we turned right onto the Northbound A34. We ran Northwards past the bus garage and we ran through Milehouse. We ran Northwards to the McDonald roundabout and we turned left onto Wolstanton Road. At the roundabout we turned right onto Chesterton High Street. We turned right onto Crackley Bank and we ran through Crackley and Red Street. We crossed over the A500 and we veered left onto Talke High Street and we turned right onto Monumet Road and we turned right onto Ashenough Road. We turned left onto Chester Road. We re-joined the road and we ran forwards onto Coalpit Hill. We ran forwards onto the A34 and up towards somewhere where we turned right onto the B5371. We turned right onto Mitchell Avenue and we turned left onto Lower Ash Road. We turned right onto First Avenue and we turned right onto the A50. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and then forwards through Sandyford past the retail park into Tunstall. We ran down the High Street. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we waited for another bus to Hanley. A short time later we saw a bus come around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was 67179 on a #103 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked the Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We went down the High Street and we turned left into Williamson Street. We turned right into Scotia Road and we ran into Burslem town centre. We ran past the site of the new Kiln Gate Retail park and we continued into Cobridge and down into Hanley. We joined Hope Street and we ran forwards to Stafford Street. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we we walked up Market street onto the square and we went to Greggs. We bought a caramel shortbread for later on. We walked along Tontine Street and we went onto Lichfield Street. We crossed over the ring road and we went to the chip shop. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished eating we headed back to the bus station. We crossed over the ring road and we crossed over Lichfield Street and into the bus station. We waited for a bus towards Newcastle. We turned down D&G Bus 6006 on a #9 to Westbury Park.

A short time later we saw another bus. As it came on stand we saw it was First Potteries 63146 on a #38 to Kidsgrove.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we ran forwards onto Marsh Street. We turned left onto Trinity Street and we continued onto Etruria Road past the new diagnosis centre on the site of the former Sainsbury's. We went under the A53 and we went forwards onto Festival Way. We ran past Waterworld and we turned left onto Forge Lane past a new minibus building by the Brindley Farm pub. We looped under the A53 and we joined the Westbound A53. We crossed over the A500 at Etruria and and we ran up the hill into Basford and we ran down hill to the edge of Newcastle and we got onto the one way system. At the jubilee roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road before turning right into the bus station. We got up and we got off the bus. We waited for a bus back to Hanley. A short time later we saw a bus come on stand. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67158 on a #101 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. When it was time to go the bus set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road and we ran forwards onto the one-way system. We continued onto the A52 and when we got to Hartshill we veered left onto Shelton New Road. We ran over the railway line and canal and we went up to Snow Hill. We turned left and ran up Broad Street. We turned right onto the ring road and left onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we ran up to the bus station. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus, Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 67158 before it did another trip on the #101 to Stafford.

We waited for another bus to Fenton, we deicded to do a double decker to the bottom of the hill and walk back to the house. A short time later we saw a bus come onto the stand. We saw it was First Potteries 35947 on a #25 to Keele.

We got on the bus and we booked to the Keele before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we ran down John Street onto Bethesda street where we crossed over the ring road and we ran down through Shelton along Cauldon Road and we turned left onto Station Road outside the railway station. We went forwards onto A52 and we turned right onto City Road. We went under the railway line and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew decided he did not want to walk and he had a taxi back to the residential unit. When the taxi arrived they went up City Road and turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and went to his room to chill out and wait for us to come and pick him up. Matthew had the Greggs Caramel Shortbread and a can of Coke. Just after 15:00 we arrived to pick Matthew up. Matthew got in the car and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and we turned right onto Wheildon Road. We stopped to pick up uncle Dave and Matthew went to the toilet. Matthew finished off mum bottle of Cherry Coke. We set off onto Wheildon Road and we ran up onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we turned left onto the A50. We came off at Longton and we turned left onto Baths Road. We went into the petrol station and we filled up with petrol. after filling up I went into the back of the car and Matthew had a chicken and bacon sandwich to keep him going. We set off out of the petrol station and we ran along the high level A50. We joined the main carriageway and we headed Eastwards towards Meir. We ran along the Blythe Bridge bypass and we turned right to follow the A50 towards Uttoxeter. As we travelled Eastwards we saw Belle Vue A19 VUE going to other way. Travelling along the A50 we saw silver minibus YR25 FHT. We continued to the End of the A50 and we joined the Northbound M1. We stopped at Tibshelf service and Matthew went to the toilet. At the service station we saw taxi minibus CX74 OSO. Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke from the boot, shared a chicken sandwich and had some Fridge Raiders. We got back onto the M1 and continued Northwards. At junction 32 we went onto the M18. We ran up the M18 for 20 miles and we went onto the M180. Travelling along the M180 we were passed by an unidentified Alfa coach. We continued onto the A180 and we ran into Grimsby. We saw Stagecoach East Midlands 26264 on a #3 to Bradley. We coninued into Cleethorpes and we turned right onto the A1098. We ran along the coast and we ran forwards into the caravan park. We checked in and drove to the caravan and parked up. We brought the stuff into the caravan and we settled down for the evening. Matthew had a ham sandwich followed by a iced doughnut and a glass of Orange Fanta. Matthew had his medication and we did the Blog and wrote an e-mail. Matthew went to bed aroubd 00:00.... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window we saw First Potteries 63360 on a #11 to Hanley. Matthew got ready to go to Newcastle. When it was time to go out we went downstairs and onto Temple Street. We turned cut through onto City Road and we headed towards the bus stop. The traffic was unusually busy and the bus was a little late. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was First Potteries 63146 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a back to Talke Pits. After a short while we saw D&G Bus 6004 on the #9 to Westbury Park.

Once we had finished in the Jessie's Coffee Shop we walked back onto the A50 and across to the bus stop where we waited for a #38A to Hanley. A short time later the bus appeared. It was First Potteries 67177 on a #38A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off along the A50. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and then forwards through Sandyford past the retail park into Tunstall. We ran down the High Street. We continued down the High Street and we ran past the former Co-operative bank. We turned left onto Williamson Street. At the roundabout we turned right onto Scotia Road and past the the old bus garage before running up the hill into Burslem town centre. We continued into Cobridge and down into Hanley. We joined Hope Street and we ran forwards to Stafford Street. We got up and got off the bus. We continued along Stafford Street and we walked up Piccadilly into Tontine Square. We continued along Tontine Street. Once we had finished we went to the Intu Potteries shopping centre. After visiting shops in the shopping centre we walked down Tontine Square. We went into Stafford Street and forwards onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63111 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Bucknall before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off up set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We got up and got off the bus. Once off up Dividy Road and we crossed. We waited for a bus to Hanley and a short time later we saw . A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63146 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Dividy Road and we turned left onto the A52 we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Road and right onto John Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew walked into the bus station and went to the toilet. Afterwards we waited for a bus to Sneyd Green. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67153 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot on the road at the back of Victoria Road. We turned right onto George Street and we turned left onto Leopold Street. We stopped at the playground and Matthew had a can of Coke. We continued along Manor Street. We crossed over City Road and we went back to the residential unit. Matthew went to his room to chill out and use his computer. He also watched buses out of the window. We went downstairs to the car and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and left onto City Road. We ran down the hill into Stoke and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran North uo through Etruria and Longport and we joined the Eastbound A527. We ran up the hill to the top end of Tunstall and we turned left onto Chatterley Lane. We turned right onto Hollywall lane and at the end we turned left onto the A50. We stopped at the Goldenhill Community Centre and we went to a fun day. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards had chicken nuggets and chips for tea. Matthew had a can of Coke. For dessert Matthew had a piece of sponge cake with custard. When we had finished we got back into the car and we set off onto the A50. We ran North into Kidsgrove and we turned right onto Mount Road. We continued onto Pennyfield Road and we ran up through Harriseahead and towards Mow Cop. We continued up to the Edge of Biddulph and we turned right onto the A527. We ran Southwards through Brown Lees and Brindley Ford and we followed the road through Knypersley and Fegg Hayes up to Chell. We continued along the A527 through Pits Hill and Sandyford and down to the A500. We ran Southwards through Longport and Etruria and we came off the A500 at Stoke. We ran up the A52 under the railway line and we ran forwards onto City Road and into Fenton. We turned right into Manor Street and left into Victoria Road and we continued onto Victoria Road and we stopped at Buzz Bingo. Matthew went to the toilet and had a cup of Coke. We got an ABC Supreme taxi back to the residential unit. We set off up Victoria Road. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
