Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 67174 on a #23 to Hanley. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we saw Afford rent-a-car CA70 BHZ outside there yard. We continued down City Road past the new sheltered housing complex. We crossed over the A500 and went into Stoke town centre. We crossed the road to wait for the next station bound bus. When it turned up it was required First Potteries 32627 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and booked to Shelton before going upstairs. The bus set off out of Stoke town centre and across the A500. We crossed under the railway line before turning left onto the A52. At the eother end of the road we turned left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station. We ran up Stoke Road and we turned right College Road where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we we walked down College Road and we turned right into Avenue Road. We walked around Hanley Park for a while. Once we had finished in the park we walked back along The Pkwy. We turned right onto Harding Road and we saw we saw City Centre Central NK15 CXP parked up. We turned right onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto Piccadilly onto Stafford Street and we stopped at the Forbidden Planet International. After we had finished we walked across Tontine Square and onto Tontine Street. We stopped at B&M and we brought some shopping. Afterwards we headed up Tontine Street and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. For dinner Matthew had For dinner Matthew had a Chicken burger and fries followed by chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Once we had finished eating we went up Tontine Street. Afterwards we came back down and went to Primark. Afterwards we set off down Tontine Street Card Factory to get a card for mum. After wards we walked down Tontine Street and onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus to Normacot. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63113 on a #3 to Crewe.

We got on the bus and we booked to Normacot before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. City Road and we continued forwards onto King Street. We passed through Foley. We ran forwards into Longton and under the railway line into Longton town centre. The bus stopped on Market Street. We continued onto and we followed the one-way system onto Commerce Street. We crossed over the A50 and we ran forwards onto Lightwood Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto Upper Belgrave Road and we got up and got off the bus opposite to the shops. Once we had finished we crossed over to wait for another bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 65035 on the #6 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We ran along Upper Belgrave Road onto Lightwood Road and into Longton. We crossed over the A50 and we ran down The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down under the railway bridge onto King Street. We ran down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road past the new petrol station and coffee shop. We turned right into Victoria Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked back to the residential unit. We set of around the corner onto manor Street and we turned left onto City Road. We crossed over onto Christchurch Street and we saw First Potteries 67155 on the #23 to Hanley. We turned right onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window uncle rob has Covid and we should be okay soon. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Hanley. At the Afford garage we saw Afford rent-a-car YP20 VCT parked up. We stood at the bus stop outside the flats and we waited for a bus to Newcastle. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 112 on a #1 to Park Site.

We continued down to the bus stop and whilst we waited we saw ERS Medical YJ21 FVU going towards Stoke.

A short time later we saw First Potteries 67151 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 63175 on a #4 to Hanley.

Once off the bus Matthew ate his tea. It was sandwiches, a flapjack and washed down with can of Dr Pepper. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short while we saw First Potteries 32650 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we went upstairs. When it was time to go the bus set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We turned left at the roundabout onto the A34. we ran South as far as the hospital where we turned left. As we travelled through the hospital. We came out of the hospital and turned left onto Hilton Road. We ran into Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran down the hill into Stoke town centre and along Church Street. After a brief stop we continued along the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We passed the railway station and we turned right onto Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. We ran up the hill through Shelton and we followed the road to the right onto Cleveland Road and Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road, continuing onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off up Lichfield Street and we walked to the churchyard and we sat on a bench to eat the banana. When we had finished we walked back along Lichfield Street to the bus station to wait for the bus back to Fenton. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63172 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights. we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC and we got up and got off at the Travers Court. Once off the bus we walked onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to use his computer and watch buses. He also ate the a bottle of Coke and a toffee Crisp. Later on Matthew had a bath and had toast for supper. Matthew went on his computer until bedtime around 23:00... Mark..

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We went upstairs and Matthew chilled out in hos room. Latter on Matthew went for a walk to Aldi to get some shopping. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of Manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and and we stopped at Aldi to pickup Matthew's weekly shop. Once Matthew had finished shopping we returned to the residential unit in Autocabs taxi. We set off down up Victoria Road and we ran down the hill. We crossed over the roundabout at Joiners Square onto Lichfield street and we ran up the hill towards Hanley. We went around the ring-road and we got onto the A50. We ran through Burslem past the site of the old data company which is going to be a new Lidl supermarket. and around the back of Tunstall High Street past the police station. We re-joined the High Street and ran through Sandyford. We ran through Goldenhill and down the hill into Kidsgrove. We went under the railway line and into Cheshire and we crossed over the A34 onto the B5077. We continued into Alsager and we ran forwards into Radway Green. We continued up Slaughter hill and we ran up to Haslington before running towards Crewe along the A534. We ran inti the town and past the railway station before turning right into Edleston Road. We ran into the centre of Crewe and we followed the road around onto Delamere Street. We walked past the bus station and we saw Arriva NW&W 2932 on a #84 to Chester. We sat down in the chip restaurant and we order our food. Matthew went to the toilet and the food arrived. He had Chips beans and sausage with 2 round of bread and butter washed down with a cup of Coke. After we had finished eating headed back to the bus station. After we had finished we walked back through the bus station. When we had finished we returned We got in the car and we set off onto Edleston Road and we turned left onto the A534. We ran past the railway station and we continued up towards Haslington. We turned right onto Slaughter Hill and we ran back through Radway Green and into Alsager. We continued over the A34 and into Staffordshire and we ran under the railway line into Kidsgrove. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and we continued into Sandyford. We joined Tunstall High Street and then we ran around the town centre and joined Scotia Road near to Asda. We ran up into Burslem and we continued along the A5o into Cobridge. We ran down the hill to the edge of Hanley and we went around the ring road to Lichfield Street. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we turned right onto the A52. We ran forwards past the railway station and we veered left towards Fenton. We turned left onto City Road and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Mathew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses before going out later on. We saw D&G Bus 112 on a #1 to Meir. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we saw Afford rent-a-car KV19 NUC outside there yard.

We waited at the bus stop for a bus towards Newcastle. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. It was D&G Bus 119 on a #1A to Wood Lane. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw ERS Medical YJ21 FWO and ABC Supreme YO69 AZA. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took a picture of D&G Bus 119 before it continued towards Park Site.

We decided to do a bus up to Keele. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 32632 on a #25 to Keele. We got on and booked to Keele before we went upstairs and we sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road we turned right onto Ryecroft. We veered left onto Merrial Street and after a brief stop we ran forwards onto Church Street. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran forwards onto the A525. We turned right into Orme Road and we saw St Giles And St George's academy MF68 AFJ. We continued along Orme Road before we re-joined the Westbound A525. We climbed the steep hill up to Keele and we turned left into the campus. We turned left onto University. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 32632 as it continued towards Keele.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off through the campus We turned right onto University Drive and we ran up to the entrance of the campus before turning right onto the A525. We ran down the hill and we crossed over the roundabout. We went past the scrapyards and we turned left onto Orme Road. We ran through the estate and to the end of the road. We turned left onto the A525 and at the roundabout onto the Southbound A34. We ran down two roundabout and we went left onto Barracks Road. We entered the bus station and we pulled up on stand. After a short while in the bus station the bus set off out onto Barracks Road. We went Southwards on the A34 before turning into the hospital. We trundled through the hospital grounds and ran up to Hilton Road and we turned right onto Hartshill Road. We ran into Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran down the hill into Stoke town centre and along Church Street. After a brief stop we continued along the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We passed the railway station and we turned right onto Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. We ran up the hill through Shelton and we followed the road to the right onto Cleveland Road and Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road, continuing onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus to Meir Park and a short time later we saw First Potteries 67158 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge.

We got on the bus and we booked to Meir Park before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. We continued onto City Road and forwards onto King street. We ran through Foley and under the railway line into Longton town centre. The bus stopped on Market Street and then we continued onto Uttoxeter Road. We ran through Normacot and then we joined the A50. We ran fast up to Meir and we came off the A50 onto Broadway. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A520 and we headed up the hill to Rough Close and we turned left onto Grindley Lane. We turned left onto Whitestone Road and then left onto Lysander Road. We ran around the Meir Park estate and over the roundabout to Lime Trees where we got up and got off the bus. One off the bus we set off and we came out on Lysander Road. We came of at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and we sat down. Matthew had a glass of Coke and we ordered the food. For tea Matthew had a burger and chips followed by Chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When we had finished we returned to the car. We set off onto Lysander Road and and we turned left onto the Westbound A50 onto Broadway. We got out of the taxi and we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 542. We turned left onto the A520 and we waited for a bus towards Fenton. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67158 on a #6A to Hanley.

We ran fast down to Normacot and we came off the A50 onto Uttoxeter Road. We came into Longton and we went around the one-way system. We turned left onto Commerce Street and then we turned right onto The Strand. After a brief stop in Longton we continued down to the railway bridge and then we ran forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley to Fenton and we ran forwards onto City Road past the site of the new Burger King. We turned right into Victoria Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked back to the residential unit. We set of around the corner onto City Road and we crossed over. We turned left into Christchurch Street and right into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and chilled out in his room to use his computer and watch buses. He had a can of Cherry Coke. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Hanley.

We turned left onto City Road. down under the railway line and into Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we entered the bus station where we saw First Potteries 41495 on layover. We got up and got off the bus. We were considering what bus to do next and we saw First Potteries 32630 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto bus station onto John Street and we saw First Potteries 67177 on a #7A to Biddulph. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we saw Cabability YJ62 DGF. We crossed over Broad Street and we continued onto Marsh Street. At the lights we turned left onto Etruria Road past former Sainsbury's supermarket. We went under the A53 and we went forwards onto Festival Way. We ran past Waterworld and we turned left onto Forge Lane past by the Brindley Farm pub. We looped under the A53 and we joined the Westbound A53. We crossed over the A500 at Etruria and and we ran up the hill into Basford. We ran down hill to the edge of Newcastle and we got onto the one way system. At the jubilee roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road before turning right into the bus station. We got up and we got off the bus and we set of up Hassell Street and we turned right onto High Street and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Once we had finished we walked down High Street. We walked onto Hassell Street. We returned to the bus station and we waited for a bus to Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63101 on a #4 to Hanley.

Matthew had a can of Fanta Orange whislet waiting for the bus. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67152 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We then walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw Staffs Travel HJ20 CCV.

Matthew had a hot dog and Coke. He went to the toilet and afterwards he saw The Black Phone at the cinema. When he had finished we set off back down Bryan Street onto Stafford Street. We turned left onto Lichfield Street We headed into the bus station and we waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67143 on a #6 to Meir.

One off the bus we set off on foot onto City Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today we decided to re-visit Bury. We have not visited since Transdev took over Rosso, or since First Manchester sold the Bolton depot to Rotala Diamond NW. Research for the trip consisted of where to park and where to eat, as well as checking the weather, which was forecast for warm weather, sunny intervals and occasional showers. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast for breakfasr. We had to wait in for a parel so we left Blurton around 12:20 which was a little later than usual. We set off onto Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the mini roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran into Heron Cross and we crossed over the A50. At the traffic light we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Whieldon Road and we stopped to pick up uncle Dave. Once uncle Dave was onboard we ran down onto the Northbound A500. As we travelled Northwards we saw we saw City Centre Central BV58 VLU, WMAS YJ19 HFD and MP Travel DY66 VOO. We joined the M6 at junction 16 and we headed Northwards. On the M6 we saw Z Carz HK57 LGW / HK57 LFY, white minibus NL11 HGX, Roseville BV60 BAA and Park's of Hamilton reg like HSK 908. At junction 21A we joined the Eastbound M62. On the M62 we saw 2 unidentified Caledonian Travel coaches. We continued onto the ckockwise M60 and we ran around the North side of Manchester. We left the ring road and joined the M66 and we ran up to the town centre up the A58. We turned left onto the Market car park and we parked up. Once we had parked up we went under the subway into the market. As we walked around the back of the market to the Interchange we saw Fenn Holidays MR09 FEN. We cut into the shopping area and we went to the cafe at the side of the bus station. THere was not toilet so mum ordered the food and I took Matthew over to the toilets in the Interchange. On the way we saw Transdev Rosso 739 on a B4 service to Heywood.

We returned to the cafe and Matthew had a full English breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished eating we went outside and we said goodbye to mum before we headed into the interchange. We saw Rotala Diamond 40790 on a #471 to Bolton.

We had a walk around to see what else we might catch. We saw Go North West 3226 on a #135 to Manchester.

We decided we would catch the #98 so we walked back into the interchange and we crossed into the middle stands. We got on the bus and we booked System One bus only day ticket at £6.40 each. We went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the bus station and we turned left onto Haymarket Street. We turned right onto the A58 and we ran down the hill into the valley. We continued Westwards along the A58 and we turned right onto B6196. We headed up the hill towards Starling before turning left onto Watling Street. We turned right onto A58 past a new petrol station, which used to be the site of an Indian restaurant. We continued Westwards for a short while before turning left onto Higher Ainsworth Road. We headed Southwards before turning right onto Turks Road. We turned left onto Coronation Road and we ran to the end. We turned left onto Pilkington Road and right onto Lowe Street going around the Redbank playing fields. We turned right onto Ainsworth Road and at the end we turned left onto Water Street. We continued onto Blackburn Street and we ran through the town centre before turning right onto Dale Street and entering the small bus station at Radcliffe where we got up and got off the bus. We set off towards the market so that Matthew could use the facilities. We set off along Dale Street and back to the market hall. We walked to the back end and Matthew used the toilet. We came out of the open fire exit onto Lidl car park and we walked across to the bus station. As we approached the bus station we saw Vision Travel 1012 arrive on a #513 to Bury.

We got on the bus and flashed the System One bus only day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Dale Street. We ran forwards onto Deansgate and onto Church Street West. We turned left onto Spring Lane and right onto Bury Road. We headed North Eastwards towards Fishpool for around 1 1/2 mile before turning left onto the A56. We turned right onto the A58 and left onto Haymarket Street. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a look around to see what we could catch next. We saw Go North West 3227 on a #135 to Manchester.

We set off towards the stop from which the #135 departs. On the way we saw Transdev Rosso 617 on a R2 to Norden.

We walked over to the stop and we saw it was Go North West 3227 as expected. We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only day ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the bus station and onto Haymarket Street. We crossed over the A58 onto Knowsley Street before joining Manchester Road and running Southwards past Gigg Lane. We crossed the river Roch and we climbed the hill up towards Whitefield. At Besses O' The barn we deviated left onto Bury Old Road and we went under the tramway and over the M60 at the same point. We continued south along bury Old Road and we skirted the Western side of Heaton Park. West past the previous Southerly point that we had travelled from Bury and continued along the A665 for a further mile or so and onto The North end of Cheetham Hill. We travelled to the South end and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Go North West 3227 before it continued towards Manchester.

As we came into Cheetham Hill we spotted a ghost sign on the opposite side of the road. We headed in the direction of the sign and crossed over the road. We saw First Manchester 37434 on a #59 to Manchester.

We photographed the ghost sign and we headed Southwards along the road. We stopped for a short while to shelter whilst there was a short shower, Matthew drank a can of Coke. Once Matthew had finished the can it had stopped raining. We crosed back over the road and we headed Southwards to the next bus stop. We waited for a bus towards Manchester. A short time later we saw Go North West 3221 on a #135 to Manchester.

We set off down the A665 and we crossed over the ring road and the old First bus garage which is now Go North West. We continued Southwards into the centre of Manchester and we crossed the East end of Manchester Victoria railway station. We turned right onto Corporation Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we turned left onto Hanover Street. We turned right onto Dantzic Street and we cut between the bus station and the tram station. We entered Manchester Shudehill bus station and we took a few pictures whilst we decided what to catch next. We saw Megabus 54604.

We decided to do a bus towards Prestwich. We saw Go North West 3258 on a #67 to Cadishead.

A few minutes later a bus appeared and we saw it was Go North West 3206 on a #93 to Carr Clough.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only day tickets to the driver before went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the Interchange and we turned right onto Shudehill. We continued onto Withy Grove and we turned right onto Corporation Street. As we travelled through Manchester we realised that this particular bus wasn't going to Prestwich. We turned left onto Todd Street and we continued onto Victoria Station Approach. We ran past the front of Victoria Railway station along Hunts Bank and we turned left onto Victoria Street. We ran along Chapel Street and we turned right under the railway line onto Blackfriars Road. We continued Northwards out fo the city centre and we crossed over the A6042. We continued Northwards up the A6041 and we continued forwards onto the A5066. We crossed over the river Irwell and we turned left onto Lower Broughton Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another of Go North West 3206 as it continued towards Carr Clough.

Once off the bus we had a short walk along the Irwell and we saw a couple of Goosander ducks and a Grey Heron. We could also hear a distant music festival. We walked arounf the corner onto the A5066 and we waited for the next Northbound bus towards Prestwich. A short time later we saw Go North West 3254 on a #98 to Bury.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only day tickets to the driver before went upstairs and sat down. We set off along the A5066 and we ran past Albert Park. We crossed over the A576 and we continued Northwards onto B6187. We ran for around 1/3 mile before we turned left onto the A56. We headed Northwards into Prestwich and we past the Red Lion pub before we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of Go North West 3254 as it continued towards Bury.

Once off the bus we walked up to the crossing and we crossed over the road. As we headed down to the pub we saw Austrian coach Beat The Street IL 312 ME.

Right behind that coach was Beat The Street IL 537 JE. We went into the pub and Matthew used the toilet. A further 2 Beat the Street coaches came past. THese were IL 485 ?? & IL 882 ??. Afterwards we went to the bar and we ordered 2 cokes. This was an unbeleiavbly cheap drink! It turned out that this pub used to be a regular haunt of Mark E Smith. When we had finished our drinks we went outside and we crossed back over the road to where uncle Dave was waiting. We walked back to the bus stop and we waited for something heading Northwards. Whilst we waited we saw Westfield grey minibus NU64 UET.

A #98 turned up, but this was only going to the next stop up the road and terminating so we didn't get on it. A short time later we saw another bus approaching. It was Go North West 6101 on a #95 to Bury.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only day tickets to the driver for the final time today before went sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off up the A56 and we ran past Tesco and over the M60. We continued Northwards and we pulled into Whitefield Tram stop. We came out of the tram stop and we turned right onto Stanley Road. We turned right onto Moss Lane and left onto Ribble Drive. We turned left onto Mersey Drive and we headed Northwards. We ran forwards onto Kennedy Drive and we turned right onto Parr Lane. We turned left onto Sunny Bank Road and at the end we turned right onto the Northound A56. We ran past the A6053 and past the site of a former Esso petrol station which is being converted into a EV charging hub. We turned right onto Parkhills Road and we turned left onto Market Street. We turned left onto the A58 and right onto Haynarket before enturing the interchange where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a walk around taking a few more pictures. We saw Rotala Diamond 40757 on a #163 to Manchester Piccadily Gardens.

We set off through the bus station and headed towards the A58. We walked behind the market and we went under the subway onto the car park back to the car. We got in the car and matthew had a can of Irn Bru. We set off onto Spring Street and we turned left onto the A58. We turned left onto Market Street and we crossed over the East lancs Railway line to Heywood. We turned right onto Wellington Road and left onto the Southbound A56. We ran down the hill and over the River Roch before stopping at the chips shop. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. When I had finished eating we set off onto the Southbound A56. We ran down towards Prestwich and we joined the anti-clockwise M60. We joined the Westbound M62 and we headed into Chesire. As we travlled Westwards we saw an unidentified Tetley coach. The petrol light came on in the car and we didn't have aenough Fuel to get back home. We joined the Southbound M6 and mum searched for nearby petrol stations. She spotted one on the A556 just off the M6 at junction 19. We came off the M6 and we went over the new bridge onto the Westbound A556. We stopped at the petrol station and Matthew had a bar of chocolate. At the petrol station was Eavesway minibus BU19 ???. We headed Westwards onto the A556 and we turned around to get back onto the M6. As we travelled down the M6 we saw MIT Luxury Coaches OU17 ORL, white coach YT20 ???, An unidentified Elite VIP coach, an unidentified Hunters coach, City cabs YX61 VVO and Acklams YN71 ???. We came off the M6 at junction 16 and we ran though Longport and Etruria into Stoke. We came off the A500 and we diverted onto Wheildon Road. We dropped off uncle Dave and Matthew got out to use the toilet. Once we had dropped off uncle Dave we set off onto Wheildon Road and past the former Regent pub which is now up for sale. We ran forwards onto Grove Road and we saw green minibus R482 NDM parked up. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we got back to Blurton around 20:45. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we did some of the Blog. We also wrote a few emails and generally used the computer to entertain ourselves. We watched TV and Matthew got ready for bed.
