Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to Selly Oak. We had checked the weather for today and it was for dry weather with some sunny intervals. We agev Matthew a list of place to go in the North West and Midlands and from the list he chose Selly Oak. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 67153 on a #23 to Hanley.

We came around 11:30 and Matthew came downstairs and got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. We set off onto Wheildon Road and forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and right onto the Westbound A50. At Sideway roundabout we turned left onto the Southbound A500 and we ran down to the motorway. We got onto the Southbound M6 and we ran down to junction 12. As we travelled South we passed Shearing Holidays 140, Abbey Coaches CE02 YRZ and an unidentified BBC East Lancs Myllenium single decker bus. We came of the M6 onto the eastbound A5 and we saw Linburg BF16 XPJ. We turned right at the roundabout and we joined the Southbound A4601. We got onto the A460 and we ran down to the motorway. We joined the Southbound M6 at junction 11 and we ran down to junction 10. We joined the Westbound A38(M) and onto the A38 and through the town onto the A4400. We turned right onto the A38 and and Selly Oak. After we had parked up crossed over the road and we waited at the bus stop for a bus to Longbridge. We saw a bus approaching and it was required National Express West Midlands 1921 on a #20 to Rednal. We got on the bus and we booked nBus day tickets at £4.20 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off Southwards out of Selly Oak down the A38 and we turned left onto Bristol Road South. We turned left onto the A38. We continued into Longbridge and we got up and got off the bus. We stop at the Southbound stops and waited for a suitable bus. As we approached the A few minutes later we saw First Worcester 69450 on a #144 to Worcester. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 7523 on a #63 to Frankley. We got on the bus and we flashed nBus day tickets to the driver before we went upstairs. The bus set off onto the Southbound A38 and we ran up Rubery. We turned right onto New Road and we turned right onto Callowbridge Road under the A38 and we turned right onto Callowbrook Lane. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked up Callowbrook Lane and headed up to Deelands Road. We went into Costcutter. We brought a bottle of Coke and a few chocolate bars. We headed back along Deelands Road and we crossed over Callowbrook Lane. We waited for a bus back to Longbridge. Matthew ate a toffee crisp whilst we waited. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. AS it got closer we saw it was required National Express West Midlands 5512 on a #63 to Birmingham. We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off along Callowbrook Lane and we turned left onto Callowbridge Road. We turned left onto New Road and we turned left onto Cock Hill Lane and we joined the Northbound A38 and into Longbridge where we got up and got off the bus. Once we had let the bus go we set off towards Northfield to catch a bus back to Longbridge. Whilst we waited we saw First Worcester 69456 on a #144 to Birmingham. A few minutes later as expected we saw a double decker approaching, As it got closer we saw that it was required National Express West Midlands 5515 on a #63 to Birmingham. We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off down the A38 and we turned right onto Bristol Road South. We turned left onto the B4121 and we turned right onto the A38. We continued into Northfield and we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over the A38 and we headed for the bus stop. As it got closer we saw it was required National Express West Midlands 5508 on a #63 to Frankley. We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off down the A38 and we turned left onto Bristol Road South. We turned left onto the A38. We continued into Longbridge and we got up and got off the bus. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Worcester 69459 on a #144 to Worcester. We got on the bus and we booked nBus day tickets to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down the Southbound A38 and we ran up Rubery. We turned right onto New Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went to the dessert shop on the corner. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a glass of Coke and toffee swirl cheesecake. Once we had finished we went out of the shop. We walked down New Road. As we got closer we saw that it was required First Worcester 69436 on a #144 to Birmingham. We flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver for the final time today and we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto New Road and we turned left onto Cock Hill Lane and we joined the Northbound A38 and into Longbridge where we got up and got off the bus. We returned to the car. We saw National Express West Midlands 5506 on a #63 to Birmingham. We walked back to the car and mum was waiting for us with Greggs sausage rolls and a can of Irn Bru. We set off onto the A38 and we turned right onto Bristol Road South. A few hundred yards up the road we pulled into a parking area and we stopped to pick up McDonalds. Once we had the chips we continued on our journey. Matthew had burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. When I had finished eating we continued towards home. We set off Bristol Road South. We turned left onto the B4121 and we ran down to Shenley Fields. We continued through Shenley Green to California. We turned left onto Ridgacre Road to the roundabout we turned right onto Worlds End Lane. We turned left onto Quinton Lane and We turned left onto the A456. We joined the Northbound M5. We headed Northwards up the M6. We travelled through the West Midlands into Staffordshire and we came off the M6 at Junction 15. We joined the A519 and we ran North to Newcastle. We ran past the bus station and we joined the Eastbound A53 through Basford and into Etruria. We turned left onto Forge lane and we ran around to Festival Way. We ran back under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We joined the ring road and we ran around to Lichfield Street. At Joiners Square. We turned right onto the A52 and as we ran towards Stoke. We ran alongside the railway line and we turned right onto City Road. We turned left to to towards the A500 and we veered left onto Whieldon Road. We dropped uncle Dave off and we continued up Whieldon Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road and we saw Shelton Care Group BL69 RFE. we turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. we went upstairs to his room. Matthew used his computer and ate a jam doughnut. Matthew had a haircut. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Hanley. We went downstairs and we cut through onto City Road. We walked to the stop opposite the flats and we saw blue minibus DG52 CXP. We waited for a bus towards Newcastle. A short time later we saw First Potteries 65728 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus towards the Smallthorne. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63103 on a #4 to Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63114 on a #98 to Ball Green. We got on the bus and we booked to Norton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee roundabout onto the A527 and headed through Wolstanton where we saw Stotts ST69 OTT. We turned right onto Porthill Bank and we we went down the hill and over the A500. We crawled into Longport past the site of the new petrol station and up the hill to Burslem. The road were still busy as we went up Moorland Road. We went over Smallthorne Roundabouts and down Ford Green Road. We got up and got off the bus by the former indian restaurant that has been runoured to be a new Wetherspoons pub. We crossed over Ford Green Road. The chip shop and we were tempted by the smell of the chips. We stopped at Joe's house and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a bottle of Cherry Coke. We walked turned onto Ford Green Road. to wait for a bus to Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw a bus come around the corner. It was First Potteries 65004 on a #98 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before we sat down. We set off onto Ford Green Road. We ran to the bottom of the hill and ran up through Smallthorne to the roundabout we turned left onto Moorland Road and we ran down to Burslem. We continued through Burslem to Longport and over the A500 and up Porthill Bank. We turned left at the roundabout and we ran through Wolstanton and May Bank into Newcastle. We crossed the Jubilee roundabout and we ran down Barracks Road and into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. After a short while First Potteries 63113 on the #4A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. When it was time to go the bus set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee Roundabout and onto the A53. We ran into Basford and over the A500. We ran down into Etruria and over the A500. We continued along the A53 and we turned left onto Forge Lane. We ran out along the Lane and we crossed over the canal before we returned back into Etruria along festival Way. We crossed under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We ran into Hanley and into the bus station. Once in the bus station. We waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Newstead. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street we saw Harry Shaw YR17 CYL at the depot. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road. We then walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. We saw D&G Bus 119 on a #1A to Wood Lane.

For tea Matthew had lasagne and chips with garlic bread followed by a cheesecake. Later on Matthew went out to the pub. We went downstairs and onto Temple Street. we turned right onto Christchurch Street and along the road to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a glass of Coke. After spending time in the pub Matthew returned to the residential unit. We set off along Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and went to his room. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to stay fairly local. In light of the weather forecast it was perhaps a good idea. We didn't do any research for the trip other than to check the weather. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. we saw Temple Street church RX18 GZW parked up in the Street.

We to pick Matthew up. We also arranged to meet uncle Dave outside the residential unit. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. The bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67144 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. down under the railway line and into Stoke. We got up and got off the bus and we went around the corner into Church Street to Stoke Cafe. Uncle Dave escorted Matthew downstairs to the toilet and I ordered the food. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. After we had finished eating we walked down Church Street. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63173 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we flashed the Network Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Church Street over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we saw First Potteries 69155 on a #7A to Biddulph. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. We walked down to the stand for the Crewe bus and we waited for the next one. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63178 on a #3 to Crewe. We got on the bus and we flashed the First Day ticket to the driver before we sat down near to the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we went straight across onto Marsh Street. We turned right up onto Trinity Street and we went past the former RBS now a new shop. We turned left onto Stafford Street. After picking up more passenger outside of Debenhams we followed the road around to the left and then back onto marsh Street. At the roundabout we went straight on onto Waterloo Road and we ran up the hill into Cobridge. We continued into Burslem and through the traffic lights onto Scotia Road. We went past the old Burslem PMT garage and we followed the road around to the left onto Williamson Street. At the corner we turned right onto Tunstall High Street We saw First Potteries 63034 on a #3 to Hanley. We continued North onto the A50 and we passed the site of the new Costa Coffee being built. We ran through Goldenhill and down the bank into Kidsgrove. We ran under the railway line and we past Lidl. We into Cheshire and we crossed over the A34. We continued into Church Lawton and then into Alsager. We continued Westwards along the B5077 under the M6 and into Radway Green. We followed the road to the right up Slaughter hill and we continued straight up into Haslington. We turned left onto Crewe Road and we re-joined the B5077 towards Crewe Green. We crossed over the roundabout onto the Westbound A534 and we ran towards Crewe railway station. We past the railway station where we saw an unidentified Majestic coach. We continued for around 1/2 mile before turning right into Edlestone Road. We ran into town crossing over the railway line and forwards onto Chester Bridge. We followed the road around onto Delamere Street and we turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we waited for the next bus towards Winsford. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 138 on a #85 to Crewe. A few minutes later we saw Arriva NW&W 2933 on a #31 to Northwich. We got on the bus and we flashed Arriva Day Saver tickets at £5.50 each driver before we sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station. We turned onto West Street we turned North onto Underwood Lane. We turned left onto the B5076 and then we turned Northwards again onto Mablins Lane. We turned left onto Parkers Road before rejoining the B5076. We crossed a roundabout and then we took the next left into Leighton Hospital grounds. At the hospital there was a small bus station. We left the bus station area and we crossed the A530 at Bradfield Green before we continues up to Church Minshull crossing the Shropshire Union canal and the river Weaver. We continued North through the centre of Cheshire, Darnhall. We came into town along Beeston drive and we stopped opposite the shopping centre outside Witherspoons where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off around the corner and into the pub. Matthew visited the toilet and afterwards he had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we went outside and met up with uncle Dave. We walked down Dene Drive and we turned right onto the A54. There were a few buses parked up there. On bus pulled off before we got there but the other we saw Arriva NW&W 3161 which was about to work a X29 to Northwich. Across the road. So we crossed under the road in the subway and we came out and we saw dud Arriva NW&W 2932 on a #31 to Crewe. We decided to do the bus anyway so we got on and we flashed the Arriva North West Day Saver tickets to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off the A54 before turning left into the housing estate and heading back South through Darnhall. Somewhere between Darnall and Church Minshull. We passed through Church Minshull and just before we crossed the A530. At the hospital there was a small bus station and we the B5076 and Underwood Lane and West Street. We passed the Fung Lung Chinese takeaway, which I always thought sounded like some kind of medical condition and we turned onto Hightown to run into the bus station. when we got back into the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus and we saw a few buses parked up on layover. Opposite was Arriva NW&W 4407 parked up. After a short while we saw Arriva NW&W 2950 on a #38 to Macclesfield. We got on the bus and we booked Arriva Arriva Day Saver before The bus set off out of the bus station and we turned left onto Delamere Street. We followed the road around to the right onto Chester Bridge and we crossed the railway line and onto Edleston Road. At the end of the long straight road we turned left onto the A534 and we ran past the railway station ans past B&Q. We traveled Eastwards along Crewe Road. We went through Haslington and Winterley and further North through Wheelock Heath. We crossed the A534 and we ran through Wheelock. We ran over the canal and into Sandbach town center past Sandbach School. When we got to the Common onto Congleton Road. We joined the A534 and past the site of the new development by the M6. We continued along the A534 and we crossed over the M6 and into Arclid. We carried on through Medhurst Green and we crossed over the Wall Hill roundabouts. On the edge of Congleton we joined the A34 and we ran East along the road for a short while before going onto West Street. We entered town along Antrobus Street, Mill Street and Mountbatten Way. We turned right into Market Street, past the Bear Grills cafe and into the bus station. We got off the bus. We walked up to the top end of the bus station and Matthew visited the toilet. Afterwards we continued up Market Street and we turned right on to Bridge Street. We saw the former B&M. We walked along Bridge Street and we turned right onto Mill Street. We turned left onto the A54 and we turned left onto the A34. We turned right onto Barn Road and we ran forwards onto Viking Way past the site of the new homes, supermarket, local centre, offices, and light industrial development. We walked back up Viking Way and forwards onto Barn Road. We turned left onto the A34 and we turned right onto the A54. We turned right into Market Street and into the bus station. We sat in one of the bus stops and Matthew ate a couple of fun sized Milky Way bars. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As expected it was Arriva NW&W 2633 on a #38 to Crewe. We got on and we flashed the Arriva North West Day Saver tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto market Street and we ran down the hill onto Mountbatten Way. We turned left onto Mill Street and we climbed the hill, turning right onto West Street. At the roundabout we went straight onto the A34 and at the following junction we went straight ahead onto the A534. We went out of town through West Heath and then out into open countryside. We crossed the A50 at the Arclid crossroads. On the west side of the M6 we left the A534 and turned right onto Congleton Road and we ran into Sandbach Commons and we ran onto the other side of the triangle where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew went to the toilet and on the way back to the bus stop. A few minutes later we saw the bus drive around the common. It was dud Arriva NW&W 3159 on a #37 to Crewe. We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva NW&W Day Saver ticket to the driver for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off along the common and we went Westwards out of the town onto Crewe Road and through Wheelock. We crossed the A534 and we ran through Wheelock Heath and Winterly, passed the pond. We continued into Haslington and turned left onto Crewe Road and we re-joined the B5077 towards Crewe Green. We crossed over the roundabout onto the Westbound A534 and we ran towards Crewe railway station. We past the railway station. We continued for around 1/2 mile before turning right into Edlestone Road. We ran into town crossing over the railway line and forwards onto Chester Bridge. We followed the road around onto Delamere Street and we turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We had a quick walk around the few uses that were still in the bus station. On an adjacent stand we saw First Potteries 65031 on a #3 to Hanley. Once off the bus we walked onto Victoria Street and we headed back to the car and we met up with mum who had left her car keys back at home. She was waiting with sausage rols and a bottle of Irn Bru for Matthew. We got in the car and we set off onto the Eastbound A532 and we turned right onto Vernon Way. We turned left onto Earle Street and we continued onto Manchester Bridge. We turned right onto Macon Way. We stopped at the McDonalds. Matthew ate burger and fries washed down with a cup of orange Fanta. When I had finished eating we continued towards home. We set off onto Macon Way and we we crossed over the roundabout onto Weston Road. We turned right onto David Whitby Way and left onto the A500. We ran under the M6 and as we continued South we came to an incident on the road and the road narrowed to a single lane. We came off the A500 at Stoke and we headed Southwards before veering left onto Whieldon Road. We dropped off uncle Dave. Matthew got back in the car and we continued up Whieldon Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew also drank a bottle of Buddies Cherryade. Matthew chilled out in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus due to Storm Eunice. Been Ill try and get a couple at Newcastle. My priority is getting to Chesterton and getting the car. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Sandford Hill Primary School DK68 BWV.

Matthew chilled out in his room until dinner time we saw D&G Bus 100 on a #40 to Longton. For dinner and had sausage chips and gravy followed a couple of slices of chocolate cake. Matthew also had a bottle of Coke. In the afternon Matthew had a nap. He woke up and used his computer whilst he waited for me to pick him up to return to Blurton. He also watched buses out of the window. We saw First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Hanley.

When he was ready we went downstairs and we walked through onto City Road. We walked to the bus stop but we weren't quick enough to get to the D&G bus. It turned the corner and as it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 69169 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street where we got up and got off the bus. We set off along Church street and we saw D&G Bus 158 on a #9 to Biddulph. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we waited for a bus to Blurton. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 174 on a #24 to Longton. We got on the bus and we booked to Blurton before sitting down at the back of the bus. We set off along Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster we veered left onto Lonsdale Street. We continued onto Campbell Road and we crossed over the A500 and past the Dunelm. We we wheeled around over the Northbound A500. At Sideway we turned right onto the A50. We came off the A50 by the BET365 Stadium and we ran Southwards down Stanley Matthews Way. We got up and got off the bus and we continued past the Hem Heath pub. We crossed over the A5035 and we waited at the bus stop. A few minutes later the bus appeared and as it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 47519 on a #22 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle and sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035 and we went over the railway line into Trentham. As we turned right into the Northbound A34. We ran through Hanford and Trent Vale and we turned right into Harpfields Road and saw First Potteries 65004 on the final #22 turn. We continued forwards on Hilton Road and we turned into the hospital. We ran through and we saw First Potteries 31782 on a #25 to Hanley and ABC Supreme YO69 AZA. We turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 47519 before it continued towards Longton.

We walked onto Stubbs Street and we saw First Potteries 67147 on a #99 to Chell Heath. We went down to the bottom of the bus station and we sat on the bench. Matthew had a Milky Way and we watched the buses coming into the south end of the bus station. When we had arrived into the bus station we saw required First Potteries 65039 on a #4 to Wereton. We got on the bus and we booked to Cross Heath and we sat down. We set off out ofthe bus station onto Barracks Road. At the roundabout we went left onto the A52 and we veered left onto Merrial Street. We turned right onto High Street and then forwards onto Liverpool Road. We rejoined the A52 and at the roundabout we turned right onto the Northbound A34. We ran North through Cross Heath and we turned left onto Brymbo Road where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over Brymbo Road and we found our car in the car park. We got in the car and we set off along Brymbo Road and we turned left onto the Northbound A34 and we ran towards Newcastle. We turned left onto Ryecroft and right onto Barracks Road and we ran past the bus station. We continued down to the A34. We continued southwards into Trent Vale past the site of a new Greggs. We parked up at Tesco and Matthew did some shopping. When they had finished we set off onto the A34 and we stopped at the pub. We walked into the pub and we sat down at our one our normal tables. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with custard. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 65038 on a #101 to Hanley. Once we had finished eating we set off We carried on along the A34 . We turned left onto the Northbound A500. At Sideway we turned right onto the A50 heading Eastwards. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross and we turned left onto Blurton Road. We went through the traffic lights onto Heron Steeet. We carried on forwards onto Station Bridge Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Masterson Street and we turned right onto Watkin Street. We continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. Matthew also drank a can of Cherry Coke. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to Macclesfield. We decided to re-visit Widnes. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to Widnes he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Temple Street Church RX18 GZW.

Matthew came downstairs and got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. We checked the bag and Matthew realised that he had no batteries so we returned to the residential unit to pick them up. We set off onto Wheildon Road and forwards onto Grove. We turned right onto Blurton Road and at the roundabout we joined the Eastbound A50. We ran through Longton and Meir. We came off the A50 and we turned left at roundabout onto the Northbound A520. We ran through Weston Coyney and we continued up to Cellarhead. We crossed over the A52 and we continued North through Wetley Rocks. We stopped at Truckers Tucker for dinner. Matthew had a breakfast box with toast and oatcakes washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished eating we continued Northwards up the A520 through Cheddleton and Leekbrook and under the railway line up to Ipstones. We ran up the hill and towards Leek town centre. We travelled 'straight outta Compton' and across the traffic lights into St Edwards Street and we turned left onto the A523. We ran down the hill past Sainsburys and then up the hill towards Rudyard lake and through Rushton Spencer. We continued through Bosley over the A54 and into Macclesfield. We passed the Moss Rose football stadium and we ran into town. We joined the A536 and we made a wrong turning into Park Lane. We did a u-turn and we ran down to Sutherland Street. We ran past the railway station and then we turned right under the railway. We turned left onto the A523 and we turned left onto the A536 at the next junction. We turned left onto Jordangate. We ran down towards the town hall where we parked up. We said goodbye to mum and we set off towards the town hall. We walked down Church Street and then back up the hill along Queen Victoria Street. When we got to the bus station we saw Arriva NW&W 4708 on a #3 to Weston. A few minutes later the bus to Congleton arrive. It was Arriva NW&W 3161. We got on and we brought Arriva Day Saver tickets before we sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station and we ran through town onto the A536. We ran out of town through Warren in Rode Heath. We ran to the edge of town and we turned left onto the A54. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked down onto Market Street and we turned right onto Bridge Street past of the old RBS bank a new use. We continued along Bridge Street and we visited WH Smith. We brought a couple of bottle of soft drinks and 3 chocolate bars. We walked onto Walked Street and Matthew visited the toilet at the top end of the bus station. We returned to the bus stop and Matthew ate a Bounty. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As expected it was Arriva NW&W 2933 on a #38 to Crewe. We got on and we brought Arriva Day Saver tickets before we sat down. the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto market Street and we ran down the hill onto Mountbatten Way. We turned right onto the A34. We ran North through Lower Heath. We turned right onto the A538. We ran Northwards up to Eaton. We ran north through Rodeheath and Highlane up towards Gawsworth past the A 2 B Taxis. We continued along A536 and we ran into Sutherland Street. We turned left into Waters Green where we saw Andrews PJ03 TFF. We into Queen Victoria Street. When we got to the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew visited the toilet. Afterwards, we had a look around to see what we could catch next. we spotted Arriva NW&W 709 on a #10 to Bollington. We got on the bus and we booked the Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and across Mill Street onto Roe Street. We turned right onto Chuchill Way and we turned right onto the A537. We turned left onto the A538 and we ran north through Tytherington. We turned right onto Brocklehurst Way and we turned left onto Tytherington Drive. We turned left onto Marlborough Drive and we turned right onto the A538. We turned right onto Tytherington Lane and we continued onto Bollington Road and we ran forwards onto Henshall Road. We went over Wellington Road and we ran into Bollington along Palmerston Street we got up and we got off. Once off the bus we walked up to Palmerston Street onto Wellington Road and we went to The Little Dessert Shop. For afters Matthew had a red velvet cheesecake with custard. when we had finished we walked along Wellington Road onto Palmerston Street. We waited at the bus stop for a bus to Macclesfield. A short time later we saw a bus turned the corner. When it got closer we saw it was Go-Goodwin 1949 on a #392 to Macclesfield. Right behind this was the #10 service. It was dud Arriva NW&W 707. We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off along Palmerston Street and we continued onto Wellington Road. We continued onto Henshall Road and we ran forwards onto Bollington Road and we continued onto Tytherington Lane. We carried on up A538 and we ran north through Tytherington. We turned left onto Marlborough Drive and we turned right onto Tytherington Drive. We turned right onto Brocklehurst Way and we turned left onto the A538. We turned right onto the A537 and we turned left onto Churchill Way. We turned left onto the A536 and we ran into Sunderland Street where we saw MP Travel ME10 BUS. We turned left onto Queen Victoria and we entered the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and we waited at the north end of the bus station watching buses come into the bus station whilst we decided what to catch next. We saw required High Peak Solo 281 on a #60 to Hayfield. A few minutes later we saw required Arriva NW&W 3160 on a #38 to Crewe. We got on the bus and we booked the Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and we ran through town onto the A536. We ran out of town through Warren in Rode Heath. We ran to the edge of town and we turned left onto the A54 and we entered the bus station and onto market Street and we ran down the hill onto Mountbatten Way. We turned left onto Mill Street and we climbed the hill, turning right onto West Street. At the roundabout we went straight onto the A34 and at the following junction we went straight ahead onto the A534. We went out of town through West Heath and then out into open countryside. We crossed the A50 at the Arclid crossroads and we passed a large lake. It was now bright sunshine as we crossed the M6, where we saw an unidentified National Holidays coach going North. On the west side of the m6 we left the A534 and turned right onto Congleton Road and we ran into Sandbach Common. After a brief stop we continued on our journey. After a brief stop we went Westwards out of the town onto Crewe Road and through Wheelock. We crossed the A534 and we ran through Wheelock Heath and Winterly, passed the pond. We continued into Haslington and we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over the road and waited at the bus stop for the next bus back to Congleton. A few minutes later it appeared and it was Arriva NW&W 3161 on a #38 to Congleton. We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva NW&W Day Saver ticket to the driver for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off along Crewe Road and Winterley and further North through Wheelock Heath. We crossed the A534 and we ran through Wheelock. We ran over the canal and into Sandbach town center past Sandbach School. When we got to the Common onto Congleton Road. We joined the A534 and past the site of the new development by the M6. We continued along the A534 and we crossed over the M6 and into open countryside. We carried on through open countryside and we crossed over the Arclid crossroads. On the edge of Congleton we joined the A34 and we ran East along the road for a short while before going onto West Street. We entered town along Antrobus Street, Mill Street and Mountbatten Way. We turned right into Market Street, past the Bear Grills cafe and into the bus station. We got off. A short time later we saw Arriva NW&W 2933 as expected. We went into Morrisons where Matthew used the toilet. Once we came out we spotted mum in the car park and we headed over to her. At the car Matthew had a can of Irn Bru. We set off out of the car park onto Market Street and we ran down the hill onto Mountbatten Way. We turned right onto the A34. We stopped at the chip shop and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. We sat in the car and ate the food before re-joining the A34 and through Talke down to the A500. At Talke we got onto the Southbound A500 and we ran through Longtport and Etruria into Stoke. We came off the A500 and we veered left onto Whieldon Road. We dropped uncle Dave off and we continued up Whieldon Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went to his room to chill out and use his computer. later on he had a slice of Millionaire's Shortbread. Matthew looked at buses on the Internet and watched the television. Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus and going to visit uncle Dave later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Temple Street church RX18 GZW. Matthew got ready to go to Newcastle. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Newcastle. At the Afford garage we saw Afford rent-a-car YS21 JVU parked up. We walked back out onto City Road and up to the next bus stop. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 69160 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Whilst we decided what to catch next we saw First Potteries 44514 on a #99 to Ball Green. Once off the bus we set off along Hassell Street and we turned right onto High Street. We turned right onto Ironmarket and we stopped at the pub. For dinner Matthew had a mixed grill washed down with a glass of Coke. For afters Matthew had a slice of chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. Once we had finished eating we set off onto Ironmarket and we turned left onto Castle Walk. We continued down to the bus station. Once at the bus station we waited for a bus back towards Longton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67158 on a #11 to Hanley. We passed the end of Stanley Matthew Way and we turned left onto Magdalen Road. We turned right onto Finstock Avenue and left onto Beaconsfield Drive where we stopped to wait time. After a short wait we continued along Beaconsfield Drive and we saw First Potteries 69172 on a #22 to Newcastle. We ran through the estate to the other end. We turned left onto Church Road and at the the roundabout we turned left onto Blurton Road. We ran to the bottom of the hill and we turned right onto Longton Hall Road. We ran up the hill and we ran forwards onto Heathcote Street. We turned left onto the high level A50 and at the roundabout we turned right onto Baths Road. We ran past Tesco before turning right into Longton Interchange. Once off we walked onto The Strand and we walked to the bus stop. We waited for a bus towards Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 69173 on a #6 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. we bus set off down The Strand and we ran under the railway line onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road past the new petrol station and coffee shop. We turned right into Victoria Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked back to the residential unit. We set of around the corner onto City Road and we crossed over. We turned left into Christchurch Street and right into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. He used his computer before going out for a party and going to uncle Daves. He also watched buses out of the window. We saw Temple Street Church RX18 GZW.

Matthew had a party in the house. He ate ham sandwich and chicken nugget and cake! he washed it down with a glass of Coke. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church RX18 GZW. Temple Street and at the end we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We went across the spare ground onto Willowdale Avenue and onto Whieldon Road and into uncle Dave's. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots with gravy followed by a slice of toffee cheesecake. Later on he had a drink of Fanta orange and a few digestive biscuits. Uncle Dave now has a biscuit tin. Matthew chilled out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Willowdale Avenue we saw silver minibus DK53 VRE parked up. We crossed the spare ground and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street past the Queen Elizabeth II Court. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

We walked along Church Street and we crossed over the A52. We continued walking to the day centre. We went to the day centre and we went into the sensory and spent time using a computer. We have created some amazing spaces within such as a beauty room, relaxing quiet room, games room, general activities room, arts and crafts room, For dinner he had beef burger a Bap followed by a chocolate shortbread and custard. We crossed over the A500 and we ran up to Snow Hill. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67158 on a #23 to Newstead. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street we saw Harry Shaw YR17 CYL at the depot. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road. We then walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. For tea Matthew had a pasta and tuna followed by a Bakewell tart. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed City Road onto Manor Street and we ran to the end where we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and across the roundabout onto Lichfield Street. We joined the anti-clockwise ring road. We joined town road and we crossed over the ring-road and headed out of town towards Birches Head. We joinmed the A5272 and we travelled Northwards through Sneyd Green up to Smallthorne roundabouts and High Lane where we saw City Centre Central FE15 UAD. We ran forwards into Chell. At the end of High Lane the end we turned left onto the A527. We turned right onto Turnhurst Road past the old school which moved to the new building. We ran up to Packmoor. We continues into Newchapel and onto the High Street. We turned left onto Pennyfields Roads and at the roundabout we went onto Newchapel Road. We ran through the estate via Galleys bank and we ran into Kidsgrove and the bus terminated on we got up and got off the bus. We walked down Attwood Street and Matthew used the toilet. We turned left onto Liverpool Road. and up to the bus stop. Matthew ate his a can of Irn Bru. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63118 on a #3 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off along the A50. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and then forwards into Tunstall. We ran down the High Street. We continued down the High Street an we turned left onto Williamson Street. At the roundabout we turned right onto Scotia Road and past the the old bus garage before running up the hill into Burslem Town centre. We ran through the light onto Waterloo Road and up the hill into Cobridge. We ran down the hill towards Hanley and then up into town along Hope Street and Stafford Street. We turned right at the end past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street before entering the bus station where we got up got off. Once off the bus we visited the toilet. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67143 on a #6 to Meir. We got on the bus we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off up Lichfield Street and we turned right into Birch Terrace. We followed the road around to the left onto Charles Street. At the top we turned right onto Old Hall Street before turning right onto the ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot up Victoria Road and we went sharp right onto Maud Street. We walked along the footpath and over George Street. We crossed over William Street. We walked forwards onto Fountain Street and we turned right onto City Road and we we turned left into Christchurch Street and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Trip to Telford / Shrewsbury 05-02-2022

Today we decided to re-visit Telford. Research consisted of looking on the Arriva Website to look a t tickets and checking the weather which was for mainly dry and cloudy with rain moving in during the early evening. Matthew got up around 10:30 and had orange juice and toast for breakfast. We got ready and we set off to pick up uncle Dave around 11:50. We set off through Blurton and onto Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. After picking up uncle Dave we continued down Wheildon Road and under the railway line. WE crossed over the canal and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran up to City Road and we had intended to turn right and straight back onto the A500. There seemed to be a problem with the right turn filter lane, so we turned right onto City Road and went under the railway bridge. We went to the roundabout and we turned 180' and back to the A500. We joined the Southbound A500 and we ran through Hanford to the end of the A500. We turned left onto the A519 and we passed Longmynd Travel D10 LMT coming the other way. We continued Southwards through Eccleshall and we ran down to the A41 Newport bypass. We joined the Southbound A518 and we headed towards Telford. We had decided that we would eat in a cafe in Dawley which is a couple of miles South of Telford. We ran down to Trench and we turned left onto the Southbound A442. We turned right onto the B4373 and we continued Southwards for a few miles over the M54. At Malinslee we veered left onto King Street and we ran into Dawley. We turnd left onto Captain Webb Drive and we entered the main town car park and parked up. Once we had parked up we walked through a passageway onto High Street and we headed to the Cafe. When we got there the cafe was closed! We decided to headed across the way to the sandwich shop and we brough Matthew a sausage sandwich, a sausage roll and a slice of chocolate cake. He also had a bottle of Coke. Once the food was ready we headed back to the car and we sat and ate the food in the car. When we had finished eating we set off on the last couple of miles into Telford town centre. We turbed onto Captain Webb Drive and we turned left onto King Street. At the roundabout we turned right onto the B5072. We headed Westwards and at the roundabout we ran forwards onto Malinsgate. We continued onto Northfield Street. We parked up at the Southfields retail park and we said goodbye to mum. We headed towards Northfield Street and we saw Arriva Midlands 2402 running out of service towards the bus station.

We crossed over the road and we had a walk around the bus station. We saw Arriva Midlands 3784 on a #5 to Stafford.

We headed into the shopping centre and Matthew used the facilities. After we had finished in the shopping centre we walked back into the bus station where we saw Arriva Midlands 3736 on a #1 Sutton Hill circular service.

We decided to do this bus so we got on and we purchased a West Midlands Day Saver Duo ticket at £12.50 before sitting down towards the back of the bus. This is a bus that we have done on at least 3 occasions previously! The bus set off out of the bus station and we turned right onto Northfield Street. We continued onto Malinsgate and at the roundabout we turned left onto Brunal Road. We followed the road through the Malinslee estate and we ran forwards onto Church Road. We turned left onto Mount Road and right onto Eyton Road. We turned right onto Johnston Road and left onto Worcester Road and we passed Arrive Midlands 3322 on a #2 to Telford. We turned right onto Lancaster Avenue and left onto King Street and we headed into Dawley. We ran forwards onto New Street and we turned left onto Finger Road. We turned right onto New Road and right onto Webb Crescent. We turned left onto Manor Road and right onto Deepfield Road. We followed the road around to the left onto Trinity Road and we headed Southwards. We turned left onto HOlly Road and we continued forwards onto Old Vicarage Road. We turned right onto Southall Way and we veered left onto Southall Road. We turned right onto Brookside Avenue and we ran around the edge of the Brookside estate. We turned left onto Bridgenorth Road and we continued Southwards. We crossed the Cuckoo Oak roundabout and we continued Southwards to the Sutton Hill Roundabout. We ran forwards onto Sutton Way and we did a complete circuit of the Sutton Hill estate before heading back Northwards up Bridgenorth Road. We turned left onto Queen Street and we crossed over the roundabout onto Madeley High Street. In the centre of town we veered left to stay on High Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Arriva Midlands 3736 as it continued on it's journey back to Telford.

Once off the bus we considered what to do next. We saw Arriva Midlands 2520 on a #18 to Much Wenlock.

We heard a bus pull up around the corner. It was Arriva Midland 3334 on a #4 to Leegomery. Matthew decided he wanted to go to the toilet. After using the toilet we noticed the bus was still around the corner as it was waiting time before taking the working back North. I asked Matthew if he wanted to do this bus and he decided that he would. Matthew got a picture of Arriva Midlands 3334 before we got on it.

We go on the bus and we placed the West Midlands Day Saver Duo ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. It turns out we have been on this bus before from Leegomery to Oakengates back in October 2019. We ran onto Court Street and we turned left onto Parkway. At the roundabout we went forwards onto Mound Way. At the roundabout we went West along the B4373 before turning ritgh into Woodside Avenue. We ran around the Woodside estate before turning left onto the Northbound B4373. We ran up the the big roundabout and we turned right onto the A4169. We ran forwards onto the A442 and at the next junction we came off onto Stirchley Avenue. At the next roundabout we ran forwards onto St Quentins Gate and then forwards agin onto Northfield Street and into the bus station. We got off the bus and we did another lap around the bus station to take a few pictures and see what we could catch. After getting back into the bus station I saw that Matthew was eying up Arriva Midlands 3697 on a the X5 to Shrewsbury.

We got on the bus and we placed the West Midlands Day Saver Duo tickets under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Northfield Street. We turned right onto Hall Park Way and we ran down to the motorway. We joined Westbound M54 and forwards onto the A5. We ran fast for around 20 minutes to the edge of Shrewsbury on to the Southern by-pass. We turned right onto A5064 and we headed Northwards into town. We ran past Lord Hill's Column. We ran forwards onto Abbey Foregate. We went around the English Bridge Gyratory and we crossed over the bridge. We ran forwards onto Wyle Cop. We followed the one-way system around town and we turned right onto Barker Street. We turned right onto the A458 and we turned right into the bus station. Once off the bus we walked around to get a few bus pictures. We saw Arriva Midlands 2988 on a #25 to Halescott Tesco.

We crossed over Raven Meadows to have a look at the buses in the layover area. We saw Tanat Valley 271 parked up in between runs on the #558 to Montgomery.

We crossed back over Raven Meadows and we saw Arriva Midlands 2535 on a #20 service to Radbrook Green.

We went back inside the bus station and we spotted Arriva Midlands 2989 on a #511 to Whitchurch.

Matthew decided he wanted to do this bus, so we waited for the bus to be readied for service. Once the driver was aboard, we got on the bus and we placed the West Midlands Day Saver Duo ticket under the scanner before sitting down towards the back of the bus. It turned out they we had already had this bus from Telford to Shrewsbury in October 2019. We set off out of the bus station onto Raven Mwadows and we turned right onto the A458. We turned left onto Chester Street and we turned right onto Cross Street and under the railway line. We turned left onto the A5191 and we headed Northwards out of town. I explained to Matthew that we could only go so far on this bus if he wanted to get 6 or more buses in for the day. We passed the roundabout with the Heathgates pub and we joined the Northbound A5112. We continued Northwards into Harlescott and past the Sundorne Retail park and the bus garage. We continued Northwards into the area know as Battlefield. It was at this point we decided to get up and get off the bus whilst we could still catch something back down to Shrewsbury in the opposite direction. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Arriva Midlands 2989 as it continued Northwards towards Whitchurch.

Once off the bus, Matthew had spotted the pub and decided he needed the toilet. We headed into the pub and Matthew used the facilities. We returned to the bar and Matthew had a small Coke. After finishing his drink we went outside and we had spotted that the Southbound #511 had not yet come past, so we crossed over the road and waited at the stop. A few minutes later another bus appeared. It was required Arriva Midlands 3699 on a #64 to Shrewsbury.

We got on the bus and we placed the West Midlands Day Saver Duo ticket under the scanner before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off Southwards out of Battlefield down the A5112 and through Harlescott. At the roundabout we joined the Southbound A5191 and we ran into Shrewsbury town centre. We went under the railway line and we turned right onto the A458. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw Arriva Midlands 3756 going on layover.

We crossed over Raven Meadow and we went to look at the buses on layover. We saw Minsterley Motors YJ14 BBV between runs on the #435 service to Ludlow.

Whilst travelling down from Battlefield, I worked out that we could get another bus in by catching something heading out of town along Abbey Foregate. In the bus station we saw Arriva Midlands 2507 on a #8 to Sutton Hill.

We got on the bus and we placed the West Midlands Day Saver Duo ticket under the scanner before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto the A458 and we went left onto Chester Street. We turned right onto Cross Street and right onto Castle Foregate and past the railway station. We headed up the hill past the castle and we turned left onto St Mary's Street. We continued down the hill and we veered left onto Wyle Cop. We crossed over the English Bridge and we went under the railway line onto Abbey Foregate. We headed out of town in a South Easterly direction and we decided to get up and get off the bus outside of the Shirehall. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Arriva Midlands 2507 as it contnued towards Sutton Farm.

Once off the bus we walked down to the Sainbury's store and we got some Toffee Crisp and a bottle of Coke. We paied for the shopping and we headed back outside to meet up with uncle Dave. Whilst we waitd for the bus we saw Arriva Midlands 3693 on a #436 to Shrewsbury. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was required Arriva Midlands 3755 on a X5 to Telford.

We got on the bus and we placed the West Midlands Day Saver Duo ticket under the scanner for the final time today before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the roundabout and we took the A5064 Southwards towards the bypass.
