Today we were returning from our short break in Lincolnshire. Matthew woke up around 08:00 and had his medication. He got up just after 09:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We apcked up our things and we left the caravan around 10:00. We got in the car and we set off out of the camp site onto Anthony's Bank Road. We ran forwards onto the A1098 and we ran into the centre of Cleethorpes. We turned left just after the pier and we followed the A1098 to the edge of town. We veered right onto the A180 and we headed towards Grimsby. On the edge of town we turned left onto Freeman Street and we park on the short stay parking at the side of the road. We headed into the YMCA for an early lunch. Matthew had an English Brekfast washed down with a can of Coke. Whilst we ate we watched the buses go past. Highlight of the bus included Stagecoach East Midlands 21228 on a #3 to Cleethorpes. When we had finished eating Matthew went to the toilet before we returned to the car. We set off along Freeman Street and we turned left onto Eleanora Street and right onto Convamore Road. We veered left onto Pasture Street and forwards ontoo Ladysmith Road. We turned right onto the A46 and right onto the A16. We ran past the Stagecoach East Midlands garage and we turned left onto the A180. We headed out of town and a few miles later we ran forwards onto the M180. We ran West towards Stainforth and we joined the Southbound M18. We ran to the South of Doncaster and we joined the Southbound M1. We stopped for a brief break at Woodall Services. We got out of the car and we saw silver minibus BN60 MGO parked up.

We walked into the building and Matthew went to the toilet. We got back into the car and Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. We rejoined the Southbound M1 and at junction 28 we joined the Southbound A38. We ran South to Derby and we saw Notts and Derby 41 at one of the roundabouts. We continued South and joined the A516. We joined the A50 and ran Westwards towards Uttoxeter and Blythe Bridge. We passed Copeland's Tours MIB 104. We continued past Longton and we came off the A50 at Heron Cross. We turned right onto Blurton Road and left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Whieldon Road and we saw white minibus DU61 ONA. We stopped at uncle Dave's and Matthew used the toilet and updates uncle Dave's calendar with the details of the weekend. We said goodbye and we set off to Stoke to fill up with Petrol. We ran down Whieldon Road and joined the Northbound A500. We turned left onto Church Street and we joined the one-way system. We turned left onto London Road and we went into Sainsbury petrol station. We saw City Cabs WF11 MOA parked up near to Sainsbury's. When we had filled up we headed Sout along London Road and we joined the A34 at Trent Vale. We continued into Hanford and we saw First Class Travel GM18 KXY parked up. We ran inti Trenthem and we turned left onto the A5035. We continued into Blurton passing D&G Bus 170 on a #24 to Hanley. We got back to Blurton at 15:00. We chilled out and we wrote some of the Blog. Later on we dropped Matthew back off at Fenton. We set off through Burton and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive where we saw white minibus EA07 LWW parked up. We turned left onto Church Street and left onto Blurton Road. We went through the traffic lights onto Heron Steeet. We carried on forwards onto Station Bridge Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Masterson Street and we saw Stafford & District Community Link OW73 RYR. We turned right onto Watkin Street and we continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room and we put all his shopping in his cupboard or in the kitchen. we saw silver minibus ??14 VWC. Matthew went into the living room and we saw Temple Street Church KD23 DHC.

For tea Matthew had chicken & rice. Matthew chilled in hos room for a while before we went out. Later on we went downstairs and we saw it was Shelton Care Group NX13 XDJ. We got on the bus and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street. and left onto City Road. We ran down the hill onto the A52 and we went under the railway line. We crossed over the A500 and we ran into Stoke and on the one way system. We followed the road onto Lonsdale Street and right onto Fleming Street. We turned right onto Campbell Place and we followed the road around back onto Church Street. We ran up the hill into Hartshill and edge the edge of Newcastle we ran onto George Street. We went forwards onto the ring road and we crossed the roundabout onto Ironmarket. We parked up and and we went to the pub. For dessert he had chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. When we had finished we set off along Ironmarket to the High Street. We turned left onto Hassell Street and we walked past the bus station. We walked onto the ring road and past the new council building and into the park. After we had finished in the park we returned to the minibus. We returned to Fenton in Shelton Care Group NX13 XDJ. We got on the bus and we set off onto the roundabout and we turned right onto barracks Road. We joined the Southbound A34 and we ran down to Trent Vale. We turned left onto Harpfields Road and we went forwards onto Keelings Drive. We turned left onto London Road and we ran through Boothen into Stoke. We ran around the one-way system and onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 and under the railway line into Fenton. We ran up City Road and we turned right into Smithpool Road and left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today was the second day of our break in North Lincolnshire. We were going out to ride on a few more buses later on. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We got in the car and we set off to Cleethorpes just after 11:00. We set off out of the campsite on Anthony's Bank Road and we ran forwards onto the A1098. We ran to the edge of town and we turned left to avoid the road closure for the rememberance day parade. We ran through the town and we rejoined the A1098 and turned right. We attempted to park at Market Street but we vould not find a way in so we ebded up doing a u-turn at the roundabout and parking in the High Street car park. We crossed the road and we went into Harriets. Matthew went to the toilet, but we were unable to eat there becasue all the tables had been reserved for people attending the parade. We crossed the road and went to the pub. Matthew had a burger, chicken burger and fries. I also gave him a sausage from my dinner. He washed it down with a glass of Coke. When we had finished we said goodbye to mum and Matthew used the toilet before we went outside and crossed over the road. We made a plan to headec towards Morrisons and buy a cake. We decided to cath the next bus to Grimsby for a #3 or #4 forwards to Bradley. The next bus due was a #6 to Wybers Wood. Whilst we waited we saw Stagecoach East Midlands 19015 on a #3 to Cleethorpes Pier.

We got on the bus and we booked Grimsby Day Rider tickets at £5 each. The lower deck was empty so Matthew tooka a picture inside of Stagecoach East Midlands 19009.

We went upstairs and we saw that the top deck was empty too, so Matthew took another picture inside of Stagecoach East Midlands 19009 before we sat down.

The bus set off out of town along the A1098 and we turned left onto the A46. We turned right onto the B1213 and we headed Northwards towards Grimsby. We turned left onto the A1136 and we came into town from the East. We ran forwards onto Victoria Street South and we continued onto Victoria Street West. We turned left onto Town Hall Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 19009 before continued towards Wybers Woods.

We walked around the corner onto Victoria Street West and we looked for a bus towards Bradley. A few minutes later we saw a bus come on stand. It was Stagecoach East Midlands 19015 on a #4 to Bradley.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Grimsby Day Rider tickets to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off along Victoria Street West and we turned right onto Town Hall Street. We turned right onto Town Hall Square and we continued onto Osbourne Street. We ran forwards onto Church Lane and we turned left onto the A1136. We crossed over the railway line and at the roundabout we followed the A1136 to the right. We followed the A1136 left at the roundabout and we turned left onto the B1444. We crooed the roundabout and we turned right onto St Michael's Road. We turned right onto Pershore Avenue and we turned left onto Broadway. We turned right onto the A46 and we ran to the roundabout before turning around 180@ and pulling up outside of McDonalds were we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 19015 before it returned on a #3 to Cleethorpes.

Once off the bus we walked past McDonalds and we headed to Morrisons. On the way in we saw silver minibus OU73 BKZ parked outside.

We continued into Morrisons and Matthew went to the toilet. We bought some cornflake cakes and a bottle of Coke. We went outside and we headed to the bus stop. We saw Stagecoach East Midlands 19050 on a #3 to Cleethorpes. We sat at the bus stop and Matthew shared some of his cornflake cakes with us. When we had finished eating we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 19014 on a #4 to Cleethorpes.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Grimsby Day Rider tickets to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off along the A46 and we turned left onto Broadway. We turned right onto Pershore Avenue and left onto St Michael's Road. We turned left onto the B1444 and we headed Northwards. We crossed the roundabout and we continued Northwards. At the next roundabout we turned right onto the A1136. We turned right at the roundabout and we followed the A1136 into town. We crossed the level crossing and we turned right onto Church Lane. We continued onto Bethlemhem St and forwards onto Osbourne Street. We turbed left onto George Street and right onto Victoria Street West where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a walk around town. We walked alongside the dock and over the A1136 and the river Freshney. Wer walked opposite to the Stagecoach bus garage and along past the Ross Tiger fishing trawler. We sat down by the dock and we finished off the cornflake cakes. Matthew had a bottle of Coke. We walked back towards the bus stop and we walked along Victoria Street West. We went to the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards We had a small glass of Coke each. We set off towards the bus stops and we decoded to catch a bus towards Cleethorpes. As short time later as bus came on stand. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 19052 on a #3 to Cleethorpes Pier.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Grimsby Day Rider tickets to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off along Victoria Street West and we ran forwards onto Ellis Way. We turned left onto Freeman Street and we headed Northwards. We turned right onto the A180 and we headed Eastwards towards Cleethorpes. We ran forwards onto the A1098 andTurned Right towards the promenade. We turned left onto Sea Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked to the corner by the pier and we bough an ice cream and a bottle of Dr Pepper. We walked back towards the bus stops and Matthew ate his aice cream whilst we waited for another bus. A short time later we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 19075 on a #3 to Bradley.

We set off along Sea Road and we did a u turned at the roundabout We turned right onto the A1098 and we turned left to follow the road out of town. Matthew usd the toilet and we had a glass of Coke. We came out of the pub and we saw the #10 set off! We decided to go to Cleethorpes to try and get a #8 forwards. We waitred for a bus forwards. A few minutes later we saw a bus come around the corner. We saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 19017 on a #3 to Cleethopes.

We had missed the #8 by a few minutes so we decided to walk along the road to a bus stop with a shelter becasue it was raining. We headed Eastwards along the A1098 on foot until we came to the first stop with a shelter. We had about 25 minutes before the next #10 bus, so we left uncle Dave at the bus stop and we went across the road to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we crossed back up over the road and met up with uncle Dave. We had about 5 minutes to wait. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlabds 19172 on a #10 to New Clee.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Grimsby Day Rider tickets to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off along the A1098 and into the town centre. We continued onto Kingsway and we turned right onto Cromwell Road. We turned left onto Hardys Road and left onto Chichester Road. We turned right onto Kings Road and we continued South Eastwards. At the North Sea Lane rounabout we got up and got off at the bus. Once off the bus we turned left onto Anthony's Bank Road and we walked into the campsite. We got back to the caravan around 18:30. We had sausage rolls and ham sandwiches, and we shared another box of Cornflake Cakes. Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke, He had a shower and we did some of the Blog. We chilled out watching TV and we went to bed around 00:00... Mark.

Trip to Barton upon Humber / Hull 09-11-2024

Today was the first day of a short break in LIncolnshire. We had origianlly planned to go to SCarborough, but we could not find a decent price on a caravan for this weekend. Research consisted of checking on the Stagecoach Site for tickets and to check the weather. The weather was forecast for mainly dry and overcast. Matthe woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up 09:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. As we were going further afield than normal, we decided to set of early than usual. We set off around 10:45 and we got in the car. We set off through Blurton and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road past the former Coral shop which is new going to be flats. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued back up Wheildon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and at the roundabout we joined the Eastbound A50. We ran through Longton and Meir. We turned right to continued along the Blythe Bridge bypass and we were passed Copeland's Tours MIB 537. We went near to uttoxeter and we continued along the A50 for a few more miles. We came off the A50 and we and we headed towards Hatton on the A511. We deciedd to try something new today. We stopped at a cafe called Rascals for dinner. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a bottle of Coke. He also used the toilet which was in a barn. When we had finished we headed back along the A511 and we re-joined the A50. We continued Eastwards for a few miles before joining the Northbound A516. We continued onto the A38 and we came off to headed into Derby. We continued North through towards Pinxton and we joined the Northboind M1. We ran North for around 20 miles and we joined the M18. We continued to the junction of the M180 and we stopped at the service station. Matthew visisted the service station and went to the toilet. Afterwards we came back to the car and we saw blue minibus FM07 FPK. Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. We joined the Eastbound M180 and we joined the Northbound A15. We continued up to the HUmber and we turned right onto the A1077. We ran into town and we turned left onto Holydyke an right onto the B1218. We turned left onto West Acridge and right onto Castledyke West. We rejoined the B1218 and turned right onto Maltkiln Road. We turned left into Tesco and we parked up. We said goodbye to mum and Matthew went to the toilet and we bought a twirl and some motor oil! We walked back onto the B1218 and we went to the bus stop outside the railway station. We waited for a bus towards Hull. We saw Stagecoach East Midlands 26174 on a #350 to Scunthorpe. A short time later we saw another bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 27196 on a #350 to Hull.

We got on the bus and we attempted to buy an East Midkands Day Out ticket, but the driver was unable to sell us one. We bought singles at £2 each to Hull before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off Southwards down the B1218. We joined the A1077 and we headed out of town. We joined the Northbound A15 and we crossed over the Humber on the Humber Bridge. We turned right onto the A1105 and we headed Eastwards towards Hull. We past the Hull City ground and we crossed over the roundabout and headed inti the city. We past the East Yorkshire depot and double decker 97 was parked outside. We turned left onto Park Street and right onto Margarete Moxon Way. We passed a very large bus layover area before we entered the Interchange from the Western end. We pulled onto stand and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked through the intervhange and outside to the sizeable layover area. We walked down the row and we took pictures. We saw East Yorkshire 714 parked up.

We headed back into the Interchange and Matthew indicated he wanted the toilet. After visiting the toilet Matthew wanted a drink. In order to get back as quick as possible I suggest Matthew had a drink out of the trip bag. Matthew had a can of Irn Bru. When he had finished we decided to do a bus in the direction of the Humber Bridge. We saw a bus come on stand. We saw it was East Yorkshire 390 on a #153 to Swanland.

We got on the bus and we booked singles to Swanland at £2 each before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the interchange and we headed Eastwards. We turned left onto the A1079 and right onto Spencer Street. We continued onto Prospect Street and we turned left onto Albion Street. We turned right onto Bond Street and forwards onto Vernon Street. We continued onto Queens Dock Avenue and we turned right onto Carr Lane. We ran forwards onto the A1105 and we ran past the South side of the Interchange We continued out of town past the MKM stadium and as the road forked right onto Anlaby Road we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of East Yorkshire 390 as it continued towards Swanland.

Once off the bus we walked around the corner and crossed the road. As we approached the bus stop we turned to see the bus approaching. It was Stagecoach East Midlands 26259 on a #250 to Grimsby. We got on the bus and we booked sigles to Grimsby at £2 each. The bus was very full and Matthew sat down towards the back of the bus and me and uncle Dave had to stand up. We set off along the A1105 and we headed towards the Humber Bridge one guy decided to ask the driver if he could stop the bus so he could go to the toilet. We turned left onto the A15 and the driver pulled over before we reached the bridge. The guy go off the bus and got back on a couple of minutes later to a big cheer! We caried on over the humber bridge and we weaved our way through Barton-ipon -Humber and to the railway station. We ran into Barrow upon Humber and we turned left onto Barton Lane. We turned left onto High Street and we continued onto Churchside. We turned right onto B1206 and left onto the A1077. We headed through Wootton were a few people got up and got off the bus so I was able to sit down and work out if we could get another bus or 2 in before the day was out. I worked out that if we got off at Bradlkey Morrisons there was an apporximate 10 minute frequency service into Grimsby. We continued into Ukceby and we joined the Southbound B1211. We ran through Brocklesby and we joined the A18. We joined ran through Riby Crossroads and we ran fast to the A46. We turned left onto the A46 and we veered leaft onto Caistor Road. After runing through Laceby we rejoined the A46. We ran for around 1/2 mile and after the roundabout we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took a picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 26259 as it continued towards Grimsby.

Once off the bus we walked a few yards in McDonalds. Matthew went to the toilet and I ordered some food. When the food arrived we went outside to the bus stop. We shared a chicken nugget meal with Matthew having most of the fries and chicken nuggets. He washed it down with a cup of Coke. When we had finished we waited for a bus towards Grimsby. Whilst we ate the food we saw Stagecoach East Midlands 26255 on a #3 to Cleethorpes.

We set off on foot along Victoria Street West and we turned right onto Town Hall Street. We turned right onto Town Hall Square and we continued onto Osbourne Street and we stopped at a pub in town. Matthew went to the toilet and I ordered him a drink. We sat down and Matthew had a glass of Coke. When we had finished and we headed back along Osbourne Street onto Town Halll Square. We turned left and we stood at Stand K. As short time later we saw a bus approaching. It was Stagecoach East Midlands 21222 on a #10 to Waltham.

We got on a bus but we found out it was going in the wrong direction! We got off the bus and we walkd up Town Hall Street and left onto Victoria Street West. We waited at the bus stop for a few minutes and we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 21258 on a #10 to New Clee.

We got on the bus and we booked singles to the holiday park at £1 each before we sat down at the back of the bus for the final time today. We set off along Victoria Street West and we joined the Northbound A16. We turned right onto the A180 and we headed Eastwards into Cleethorpes. We ran forwards onto the A1098 and into the town centre. We continued onto Kingsway and we turned right onto Cromwell Road. We turned left onto Hardys Road and left onto Chichester Road. We turned right onto Kings Road and we continued South Eastwards. We turned right onto North Sea Lane and we got up and got off at the next stop. Once off the bus Matthew took a picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 21258 as in continued towards New Clee.

Once we got off the bus we walked to the chip shop where we had arranged to meet mum. Me and Matthew went to order the food. A few minutes later mum arrived and Matthew got in the car whilst I waited in the chip shop for the food order to be ready. We got in the car and we set off along North Sea Lane. We turned right onto Anthony's Bank Road and we ran into the camp site. We parked up and went inside the caravan. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy and a can of dandelion and Burdock. Later on we did some of the Blog and uploaded pictures. We also wrote an e-mail. We chilled out in the caravan and watch TV. Later on Matthew had a glass of Fanta Orange. Today Matthew was going to Blurton. Bur first he was going to Grandma's, going to the pub and going out on the bus. Magtthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go out we saw white coach ??17 ???. We went downstairs and we cut through onto City Road. We walked down towards stoke and we stopped at The Range. Matthew bought a Christmas tree. We continued on foot under the railway line and over the A500 into Stoke. Wew waited at the bus stop for a bus towards Newcastle. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 6004 on a #9 to Clayton.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left onto Princes Road past the old school where was saw a minibus parked up. Part of site was demolished to make more car parking spaces. We ran into Penkhull village. We onto Newcastle Lane and we turned right onto Hilton Road. We turned into the hospital and as we travelled through the hospital we saw ABC Supreme YJ74 VAU. We turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus. We walked out of the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Hanley. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63363 on a #101 to Hanley.

We waited for a #25. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it gt closer we saw it was First Potteries 35943 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we went upstairs and sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto barracks Road and we ran down onto the Southbound A34 and we turned left and we traveled through the hospital we saw Travel Express SJ18 OZO. We came out of the hospital and turned left onto Hilton Road. We ran into Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52. We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke town centre. We went forwards onto and along Church Street. After a brief stop we continued along the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 and we ran past the Sithh Form College where we saw a minibus parked up. We passed the railway station to joiners Square. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got a picture of First Potteries 35943 as it continued towards Hanley.

We continued up Lichfield Street and we stopped at Venus Fish Bar for dinner. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with can of Coke. When we had finished we headed towards the bus station. Matthew went to the toilet and waited for a bus towards Fenton. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 67148 on a #11B to Bentilee.

We went to the shop and Matthew had a can of barr shandy. We waited for the next bus. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67149 on a #7A to Biddulph. After a while we saw our bus approaching. It was First Potteries 67142 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights. we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 67181 parked in the garage. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. We turned right onto Bambury Street and we ran to the end we turned left onto Galsworthy Road and left onto Heathcote Street. We turned right onto Longley Road and left onto Ashwood. We turned right onto Anchor Road and we ran under the railway line. We turned left onto Markets Street and we followed the one-way system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We saw silver minibus BX62 BNB. We got up and got off the bus outside the old furniture shop. We walked down onto City Road and we popped into Costa Coffee. Matthew had a Irn Bru and a cake. When we had finished we continued down City Road and we turned left onto Christchurch street past the shop which has been forced to close until January 2025. We turned right into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out and to get reasy to go back to Blurton. I arrived at around 14:30 and we waited for Matthew medication and said goodbye. We cut through onto City Road and we walked to the bus stop. We waited for a bus towards Newcastle. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 121 on a #1 to Park Site.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw taxi minibus SA05 ENF. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. We walked up towards the top end of the bus station whilst we waited for something we could catch. whilst we waited we saw Arriva Midlands 2944 on a #64 to Shrewsbury.

We got on the bus and we booked to the hospital before we went upstairs and sitting down. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. We got off the bus and we headed along the A34 and we went up the hill towards Grandma's. At Grandma's Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. When it was time to go we went to the pub in the car via uncle Daves house. We set off just after 17:30 and we set off onto Victoria Street. We joined the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto The Avenue. At the end we turned right onto Hartshill Road. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500. We turned right onto the A500. We veered left into Fenton to pick up uncle Dave. We set off back down towards Stoke and onto the A500. We turned left onto Church Street and and we went around the one-way system. We turned left onto London Road and we headed into the West End, and we ran past the former Oak Tree pub which has now been demolished. We ran to the end of London Road and we sat at the light waiting to turn right onto the A34. We continued up to the pub and we parked up. We walked into the pub and Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with custard. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included First Potteries 63345 on a #101 to Stafford. Once we had finished eating we set off. We carried on along the A34 Through Trent Vale into Hanford. We turned left onto Church Lane and we turned right onto Wilson Road passing First Potteries 67155 on a #21 to hanley. We saw 1st Class Travel GM18 KXY parked up near to the chip shop. We turned left onto New Inn Lane and we turned left onto the A5035 and we came back to Blurton. In them afternoon we chilled out writing the Blog. Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. Later on we took uncle Dave home. We got in the car and we set off through Burton and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Street and left onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We ran through Blurton and at the roundabout we veered right onto Church Street. We turned right onto the A5035 and back to Blurton. Later on we did some more of the Blog and had an ice pop. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Newcastle. At the Afford garage we saw Afford rent-a-car BG72 UEU parked up. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67159 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street. We turned right onto Shelton Old Road. We ran forwards onto Stoke Road. We ran under the railway line and up through Shelton. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and we entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got a picture of First Potteries 67159.

A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63173 on a #39 to Kidsgrove. We got on the bus and we booked to Kidsgrove before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we ran forwards onto Marsh Street. We turned right onto Trinity Street and left onto Stafford Street. We turned left onto New Hall Street and we re-joined Marsh Street. We ran forwards onto the A50 and we ran through Cobridge up to Burslem. We ran into the centre of town past the old Lloyds bank and onto Scotia Road past the site of the new Lidl. We turned left onto Williamson Street and right onto Tunstall High Street. We continued up the High Street past the City Centre Central depot and past the Tesco Express. We ran to towards Goldenhill and down the hill into Kidsgrove where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got a picture of First Potteries 63173 before it returned towards Hanley on a #39 service.

We walked around the corner to the chip shop and Matthew had sausage and chips and a can of Coke. When we had finished eating we walked around the corner onto Liverpool Road. We waited for the bus towards Hanley. A short time later the bus appeared. It was First Potteries 63114 on a #38 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off along the A50. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and then forwards through Sandyford past the new retail park into Tunstall. We ran down the High Street. We continued down the High Street and we ran past the former Co-operative bank. We turned left onto Williamson Street. At the roundabout we turned right onto Scotia Road and past the the old bus garage before running up the hill into Burslem Town centre. We ran through the light onto Waterloo Road and up the hill into Cobridge. We ran down the hill towards Hanley and then up into town along Hope Street and Stafford Street. We turned right at the end past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street before entering the bus station where we got up got off. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards waited for a bus to Coalville. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67153 on a #7A to Biddulph. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 44511 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge.

We got on the bus we booked to Weston Coyney before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto City Road and past the site of the new Burger King. We continued forwards onto King Street and we passed through Foley. We ran forwards into Longton and under the railway line into Longton town centre. The bus stopped on Market Street. We continued onto and we followed the one-way system onto Commerce Street. We crossed over the A50 and we ran forwards onto Lightwood Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto Upper Belgrave Road. We ran forwards onto Waterhead Road. We turned left onto the A520 and we ran through Meir and we turned right onto Woodville Road and we paused in the Square before going onto Leason Road. We turned right onto Stansmore Road and Brookwood Drive and we turned right onto the A520 and and we turned right onto Main Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we decided to go back to Hanley on the double decker. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before going upstairs and sitting down. We set off down Main Street and we continued along Weldon Avenue and we turned right onto Caverwall Road. We turned right onto the A520 and we turned left onto Brookwood Drive. We turned right onto Stansmore Road and we turned left onto Leason Road. We paused in the Square before going onto Woodville Road. We turned left onto the A520 and we headed through Meir and we turned right into Waterhead Road. We ran through to Upper Belgrave Road onto Lightwood Road and into Longton. We crossed over the A50 and we ran down The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down under the railway bridge onto King Street. We ran down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road past the new petrol station and coffee shop. We turned right into Victoria Road and we got up and got off the bus. One off the bus we set off on foot onto City Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we walked back into Temple Street and into the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Smithpool Road. We crossed over the railway line and we walked down to the entrance of the park. For dinner Matthew had washed down a can of Irn Bru. In the park Matthew walked up to the playground. Once we had finished in the park we walked back along Grove Road. We crossed over the Whieldon Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Masterson Street and we turned left onto Watkin Street. We continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. When we got there we saw Temple Street Church RX18 GZW parked up. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room. For tea Matthew had a Lamb Mince Pasta Bake Cheese & Bacon followed by cake. Matthew spent time in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00...
