Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After getting ready Matthew went downstairs and went out onto City Road and to the bus stop by the flats. Whilst waiting for the bus we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 279 heading towards Stoke. A short time later we saw Co-op Academy Florence MacWilliams SG74 RHK. We waited for a bus to Hanley. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was D&G Bus 6010 on a #1 to Park Site.

We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We got off the bus and we crossed obver the road to the stop opposite to wait for a #25 to Hanley. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As soon as it cam into view we knew it was First Potteries 35940 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. The bus set off out of Stoke town centre and across the A500. We crossed under the railway line before turning left onto the A52 and we ran past the railway station to joiners Square. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. We went to the toilet and after we headed across Lichfield Street and over the ring road. We stopped at Venus Fish Bar and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. After we had finished we set off across the ring road and e walked round onto Lichfield Street. We headed into the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67149 on a #11B to Bentilee.

A short time later we saw a bus come on stand. It was First Potteries 63363 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights. we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 67181 parked in the garage. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. We turned right onto Bambury Street and we ran to the end we turned left onto Galsworthy Road and left onto Heathcote Street. We turned right onto Longley Road and left onto Ashwood. We turned right onto Anchor Road and we ran under the railway line. We turned left onto Markets Street and we followed the one-way system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC and we got up and got off at the Travers Court bus stop outside the block of flats. Once off the bus we walked onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to use his computer and watch buses. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we walked towards the bus stop. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67142 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked around the corner onto Campbell Place to wait for a bus to Trentham. A few minutes later we saw a bus come around the corner. It was First Potteries 67152 on a #21 to Trentham. We got on the bus and we booked to Trentham before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Campbell Place and forwards onto London Road. We continued through Oakhill and past the former Oakhill pub. We ran into Trent Vale and we turned left onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67152 as it continued towards Trentham.

As we set off towards the pub we saw First Potteries 63115 on a #22 to Newcastle. We went into the pub and Matthew found a seat where he could see out of the window. Matthew had Sausage, egg beans and chips with bacon and 2 oatcakes washed down with a glass of Coke. for dessert Matthew had toffee sponge pudding and custard. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included First Potteries 63358 on a #101 to Stafford and Travel Express LK67 FWJ heading Northwards. Once we had finished eating we set off We carried on along the A34 and walked back to the bus stop. We only had a few minutes to wait. Whilst we waited we saw ABC Supreme YK24 DYB. A few minutes later the bus appeared. We saw it was First Potteries 63171 on a #22 to Longton. We got on the bus and we booked to Blurton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down the A34 and we ran under the A500 into Hanford and we turned left onto Church Lane. We climbed to the top of the hill and we turned right onto Wilson Road. We turned left onto New Inn Lane and we ran into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035 and we crossed over the railway line into Blurton. We passed the end of Stanley Matthew Way and we turned left onto Magdalen Road. We turned right onto Finstock Avenue and left onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. We got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 63171 before it continued towards Longton.

Once off the bus we walked back to the house. Once we had finished we crossed over to wait for another bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. We set off down Church Road. At the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road and we ran down the hill into the valley. After crossing Longton Brook we ran up the hill into Heron Cross. We ran forwards onto Heron Street and we followed the road around onto Station Bridge Road we saw Ash to Adderley WP68 WKD. We turned left onto Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked around the corner onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. Matthew also drank a can of Cherry Coke. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus and going to visit uncle Dave later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We continued along Christchurch Street. We onto City Road and we walked up to the Health Centre. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. We walked onto City Road and we waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw First Potteries 67149 on a #23 to Hanle. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 and ran under the railway line. After crossing over the A500 we ran into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We turned right onto Shelton Old Road. We ran forwards onto Stoke Road. We ran under the railway line and up through Shelton. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture First Potteries 67155 on a #21 to Trentham.

Matthew visited the toilet. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63116 on a #103 to Crewe.

We got on the bus and we booked to Kidsgrove before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we ran forwards onto Marsh Street. We turned right onto Trinity Street and left onto Stafford Street. We turned left onto New Hall Street and we re-joined Marsh Street. We ran forwards onto the A50 and we ran through Cobridge up to Burslem. We ran into the centre of town past the old Lloyds bank and onto Scotia Road past the Lidl. We turned left onto Williamson Street and right onto Tunstall High Street. We continued up the High Street past the City Centre Central depot and past the Tesco Express. We ran to towards Goldenhill and down the hill into Kidsgrove where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked around the corner onto the B5371 we walked onto the A50 and onto Heathcote Street and Matthew visited the toilet. As we walked through the King Street and we walked around the corner to the chip shop and Matthew had sausage and chips and a can of Coke. When we had finished eating we walked around the corner onto Liverpool Road. We waited for the bus towards Hanley. A short time later the bus appeared. It was First Potteries 63118 on a #38A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off along the A50. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and then forwards through Sandyford past the new retail park into Tunstall. We ran down the High Street. We continued down the High Street and we ran past the former Co-operative bank. We turned left onto Williamson Street. At the roundabout we turned right onto Scotia Road and past the the old bus garage before running up the hill into Burslem Town centre. We ran through the light onto Waterloo Road and up the hill into Cobridge. We ran down the hill towards Hanley and then up into town along Hope Street and Stafford Street. We turned right at the end past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street before entering the bus station where we got up got off. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67176 on a #7A to Biddulph. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Blurton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus waited for time before setting off out of the bus station. We went down John Street and onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto Broad Street and we ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned left onto Copeland Street. We continued forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the road around onto Church Street. We crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked back to to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we walked back into Temple Street and into the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to the room and went on his computer and drank his bottle of Coke. Later on Matthew went out to the pub by car. We went downstairs and we got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned onto Christchurch street. We ran on to Manor Street and at the end we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we crossed over the roundabout onto Lichfield Street. We ran up the hill to Hanley and we joined the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned onto Town Road and we ran towards Birches Head. We ran forwards onto the A5272 and we ran through Sneyd Green into Smallthorne. At the roundabout we turned right onto Ford Green Road. We ran town the hill to the bottom and we turned left into Chell Heath Road. We turned right into Hayes Road and we ran forwards onto Stratheden Road and to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a drink of Coke. Once Matthew had finished his drink we returned to Fenton by car. We got in the car and we set off onto Stratheden Road. We ran forwards onto Hayes Street and we turned right onto Chell Heath Road. We turned right onto Ford Green Road and we we ran up Smallthorne Bank. At the roundabouts we turned left onto the A5272 and we ran through Sneyd Green into Birches Head. We ran forwards onto Town Road and and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We turned right onto the A52 and we ran towards the railway station. We ran alongside the the railway line and we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs to Matthew's room to chill out. Whilst he waited he used his computer and watched buses out of the window. When it was time to go to uncle Dave's we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and at the end we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We went across the spare ground onto Willowdale Avenue and onto Whieldon Road and into uncle Dave's. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots with gravy followed by a slice of chocolate cake. Later on he had a drink of Fanta orange and a few digestive biscuits. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street the Queen Elizabeth II Court. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. He also ate the a can of Irn Bru and a golden crunch creams. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw South Staffs Travel GB23 KBZ.

A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 100 on a #1 to Park Site.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw First Potteries 67153 on a #22 to Longton and Travel Express LK67 FWJ. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a look around to see what we might catch. Eventually the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67144 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on the bus and we booked to Trentham Garden before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we ran down through Trent Vale and into Hanford. We continued down through to Trentham. Near to the old entrance to the gardens we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over the road and we set off into the retail village and we went to the Riverside restaurant. Matthew had a mixed grill washed down with a bottle of Coke. For afters Matthew had a Bakewell tart. Matthew went to the toilet and after we headed back to the bus stop. We walked ouf of the entrance and Northwards up the A34 to the bus stop outside the old entrance where we saw it was First Potteries 63345 on a #101 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off Northwards through Trentham. We continued North through Hanford and Trent Vale and we past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle. We turned right onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station from the South end. We got up and got off the bus. Once in the bus station we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63178 on a #39A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton. As the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67174 before we sat down.

We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. We ran past the site of the new Burger King and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We turned left onto Upper Cross Street and we turned right onto Wood Street. We turned left onto Ashwood and we turned right onto Longley Road. We turned left onto Heathcote Street and we turned right onto Galsworthy Road. We turned right onto Bambury Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentilee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive and we got up and got off the bus. We walked around the corner and we saw First Potteries 63365 on a #11 to Newcastle. Matthew had can of Cherry Coke. We went back to the Fenton. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way over on Dawlish Drive. As short time later the bus came around the corner. As exoected we saw it was First Potteries 63347 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 67154 parked in the garage. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC and we got up and got off the bus. We walked down City Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Matthew went upstiars to his room to chill out. Later on Matthew went downstairs. We set off onto City Road and we crossed over onto Manor Street for We stopped at the Fenton Community Hall and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we had a drink of Coke. Matthew had a Steak pie and chips. After we had finished we returned to the residential unit. We walked along Manor Street and we crossed over City Road and we turned right onto onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs and back into his room. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Today Matthew was returning to the residential unit, but first he was goig out for dinner on the bus. Matthew woke up at 08:00 to have his medication. Matthew got up at 10:30 and got ready to go out. He had toast for breakfast. Just before 12:00 we got in the car to go and pick up uncle Dave. We set off thr Blurton onto Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton through the roadworks and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we set off up Wheildon Road and forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and right onto The Westbound A50. We came off the A50 onto Stanley Matthews Way and we ran to the other end to Blurton where we saw D&G Bus 170 on a #24 to Hanley. We turned left onto the A5035 and back to the house. We dropped off a few things and checked the time of the next bus to Longton. It was due in a few minutes so we rushed off all the way over to the stop on Magdalen Road to wait for the bus. As we got to the stop we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63114 on a #22 to Longton.

We got on the bus and we booked Smart Day tickets at £4.80 before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Magdalen Road and we turned right onto Finstock Avenue. We turned left onto Beaconsfield Drive and at the end we turned right onto Church Road. We followed the road around to the left onto Blurton Road and at the bottom of the hill we turned right onto Longton Hall Lane. We climbed the hill into Longton and onto the A50. We crossed the roundabout onto Baths Road and we entered Longton Transport Interchange. We got off the bus and Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 63114.

We cut through onto The Strand and we walked to Cafe Paradise. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished I gave Matthew a choice of which direction we were going to go. He chose to go to Stoke to pick up dessert. We walked to the stop on The Strand and we saw First Potteries 67147 on a #6A to Hanley.

A few minutes later we saw another bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 112 on a #1A to Wood Lane.

We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day tickets under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down The Strand. We turned left into Baths Road and we entered Longton Transport Interchange. After a brief stop we ran out onto Baths Road and we turned left under the railway line onto King Street. As we travelled down King Street through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road, past Costa Coffee. We ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500. We continued into into Stoke town centre along Church Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus, we saw D&G Bus 6005 on a #9 to Biddulph.

Behind the was First Potteries 35944 on a #25 to Hanley. We walked up Church Street and around the corner onto Campbell Place. We visited Wrights Pies and we bought some Manchester Tarts and a can of Coke. Matthew indicated that he want to go and sit and have a Manchester Tart. So we headed towards Glebe Street. e turned the corner onto Church Street and we saw D&G Bus 28 on a #1A to Meir.

We continued along Church Street and we crossed over Glebe Street and headed to the bus stop. Matthew sat down and had a Manchester tart. We looked at the stop timetable and we saw that there was a D&G bus to Newstead in a few minutes. Matthew just about finished his cake and the bus made an appearance. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 594 on a #40 to Newstead. We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Glebe Street and we followed the one-way system onto Church Street. We crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Grove Road and we headed into Heron Cross. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We saw Scraggs 1580 VT parked up. We continued along Blurton Road through the roadworks and left onto Longton Hall Lane. We climbed the hill into Longton and onto the A50. We crossed the roundabout onto Baths Road and we entered Longton Transport Interchange. After a brief stop we turned right onto Baths Road and we ran forwards onto Market Street. We followed the one way system onto Commerce Street and we crossed over the A50. We turned left onto Lightwood Road and we turned right onto the B5038. We turned left onto Chaplin Road and right onto Cocknage Road. We ran forwards onto Queens Park Avenue and we turned left onto the A5035. We ran into Blurton and we turned left onto Barlaston Road. We turned right onto Waterside Drive and left onto Wimbourne Avenue. When we got to the shops we got up and got off the bus. We had a couple of minutes to wait for another bus. A short time later we saw it was D&G Bus 90 on a #24 to Norton.

We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket on the scanner. The rear of the bus was empty so Matthew took a picture inside of D&G Bus 90 before we sat down.

After a short while We set off along Wimbourne Avenue and we turned right onto Waterside Drive. We ran around the estate and back onto Barlaston Road. We turned left onto the A5035 and a few stops later we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over the A5035 and we turned left onto Magdalen Road. We saw Stoke-on-Trent city council LK17 DVV parked up near to the food bank.

We got back into the house around 14:20. Once back in the house we looked at our pictures and didsome of the Blog. Matthew had a glass of Orange Fanta and another Manchester Tart. around 16:30 we set off back to the residential unit by car. We set off through Blurton onto Finstock Avenue and we turned left onto Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and left again onto Blurton Road. We went through the traffic lights onto Heron Street. We carried on forwards onto Station Bridge Road we turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Masterson Street and we saw Stafford & District Community Link SG70 KFR. We turned right onto Watkin Street and we continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room and we put all his shopping in his cupboard or in the kitchen. Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. Matthew chilled out on his computer and watched buses out of the window. For tea Matthew had chicken & rice and washed it down with a glass of lemonade. Matthew then went out to catch a bus to Hanley. We went downstairs and it was an Intercity taxi. We got in the taxi and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we crossed over City Road onto Manor street. At the end of manor street awe turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran down to joiners Square and we crossed over the roundabout onto Lichfield Street. We crossed over the ring road and we parked up in the small car park in front of the pub. We went into the Coachmakers Arms. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had 1/2 a Coke. After we had finished we returned to Fenton in a taxi. We got in the taxi and we set off onto Lichfield Street. We crossed over the ring Road and we ran down to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the roundabout we turned sharp right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we went to his room and chilled out. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room. He watched television and used his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today we decided to go to Cannock. We had seen the weather warnings for storm Darragh so we wnated to go somewhere close to home. We didn't pick until Saturday morning and appart from looking at the weather we did no research. Matthew got up around 10:30 and had toast and apple juice for breakfast. We got ready to go out and we left arounbd 11:50. We set off thr Blurton onto Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Northbound A500. We turned right onto City Road so that we could joined the Southbound A500. Whilst we waited to joined the A500 we saw former Shelton Care Group minibus DY08 FFX going the other way. We joined the Southbound A500 and we ran Southwards through Hanford down to the M6. We joined the Southbound M6 and we headed through Staffordshire. Travelling down the motorway we saw an unidentified Jones Coaches, white minibus YS22 ZZE, 2 unidentified adventure coaches, an unidentified Ferris coach, an unidentified coachleasing.com coach, an unidentified Bennetts (blue and orange) coach, Alfa 103 / 117 and Selwyns BV23 ZWB(#540) / BV67 JXN(#120). We came off the M6 at junction 12 and we joined the Eastbound A5. We went for a couple of miles before stopping at the Truckers Rest truck stop. Matthew went to the toilet and mum ordered dinner for us. For dinner Matthew had a full English breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we headed out to the car park and we saw GJG Travel MC19 MMX parked up outside.

We got back into the car and we re-joined the Eastbound A5. Just before we got to the A4601 we turned left onto the A4601 and we headed Northwards into town. We ran forwards onto the A34 and we ran past the bus station. We pulled up next to the bus station and we said goodbye to mum before heading into the bus station. On the way in we saw Chaserider 198 on a #74 to Stafford.

We headed into the shopping centre and Matthew went to the toilet. Once we had finished we came out and had a look around to see what we might catch. We saw a bus on the bottom standing heading inti the West Midlands. As we got closer we saw it was Chaserider 498 on a #70 to Wolverhampton.

We got on the bus and we booked to singles to Wolverhampton at £2 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we turned around at the roundabout and we went Eastwards along the A34. At the roundabout we turned left onto the B5012 and we ran through Dartmouth Road. We turned right onto Hatherton Road and we turned left onto Gorsey Lane. We turned left onto Oaks Drive and we ran North Eastwards through Bideford Way and we turned left onto Ascot Drive. We turned right onto Longford Road and we turned right onto Delta Way. We turned left onto the A5 and we turned right onto Walkmill Lane and we ran forwards onto Mill Lane and we ran forwards onto Coppice Lane and we ran through Cheslyn Hay. We turned right onto the B4156 and and we turned right onto High Street and we turned left onto onto Wolverhampton Road. We turned right onto the A462 and we ran forwards onto the A460 and we ran through Shareshill. We turned right onto New Road and we turned left onto onto Baneberry Drive and we turned left onto onto Turnstone Drive. We turned right onto New Road and we turned left onto onto Baneberry Drive and we turned left onto onto Brookhouse Lane and we continued onto The Avenue. We turned right onto the A460 and we headed up to Westcroft. We ran up the hill and into Underhill and past the fromer Berry Brook Farm pub. We ran down the hill into The Scotlands and we got up and got off the bus. We had a walk around to see what we might catch. We saw Veezu SG74 LKU. As we got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 835 on a #11 to Wolverhampton.

We got on the bus and we booked nBus day tickets at £4.80 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down Cannock Road and we crossed under both railway lines. We passed nearby to the railway line and we ran forwards onto Stafford Street. We turned left onto Broad Street and we turned left onto a special bus lane that runs alongside the inside of the ring road contraflow to the traffic. We then emerged from the cutting at the entrance of the bus station. We got up and we got off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We came out of the toilet and we saw Woods Coaches 380 on a #210 service to Gatwick Airport.

We had a look around for something to catch. Matthew noticed there was a #9 to Bridgenorth due. We waited at the stand for around 10 minutes and the bus appeared. As it arrived on stand we sw it was dud Arriva Midlands 3792 on a #9 to Bridgnorth.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus ticket to the driver. The bus was empty so Matthew took a picture inside Arriva Midlands 3792 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

This is a bus that we first had back in March 2023 from Telford to Oakengates on a #6 service. The emergency door open alarm was going off, so the driver attempted to silence the alarm by opening and closing all the door but to no avail. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto the ring road we came back inside the town along Broad Street and we turned right into princes square and left into Lichfield Street. We ran out of town stopping on Lichfield street and Darlington Street and we crossed the ring road onto Chapel Ash. We continued West along the A454 and road very quickly became rural. About 2 miles West of the ring road we came into village of Compton. As we approached the main junction we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took a picture of Arriva Midlands 3792 before it continued on towards Bridgnorth.

Once off the bus we walked into the pub on the corner and Matthew went to the toilet and I went to the bar to order drinks. Mathew had a glass of Coke and we sat down in the main seating area. When we had finished we went outside and we crossed over Bridgenorth Road and headed to the bus stop. It was raining and the wind was blowing hard so we huddled in the bus shelter to wait for a bus back to Wolverhamptom. There should have been an Arriva Midlands bus first but it must have been running late. A few minutes later we saw a bus turn the corner. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 2006 on a #10 to Wolverhampton.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We ran back into town down the A454 and passed the Harley Davidson Shop on Chapel Ash. We crossed the ring road onto Salop Street and we ran forwards onto Cleveland Street. We turned left onto Garrick Street and we then turned right onto Bilston Street. We ran past the police station and onto the ring road and then enter the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus Matthew indicated that he wanted to have another drink. We walked across the road to the premier shop and we bought some chocolate bars and a bottle of Coke. We crossed back over to the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Walsall. We formulated a plan to meet up with mum in Bloxwich. Whilst we waited we saw National Express West Midlands 2077 on a #82 to Dudley.

Whilst we waited Matthew ate some Cadbury's Snack which had just bought from the shop. A few minutes later a bus came on stand. As it got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 6792 on a #529 to Walsall.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the bus station. We left towards the tram station and we crossed over the ring road and onto the A454 and we ran through Monmore. We continued into Moseley and we Northwards into Portobello. We ran through Willenhall and we walked past thre former HSBC Bank. We ran through Bentley and out the other side and down into Reedswood. We travelled through Pleck and over Walsall and we ran forwards onto the A4148. We turned right onto Wolverhampton Street and we ran past the Crown Wharf Shopping Park. We ran forwards onto Townend Street and we crossed the roundabout into St Paul's Street and into the bus station. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We decided to have a qiuick walk around and take a few picture before we caught something up to Bloxwich. We saw APP Carz AV11 UFZ stopped outside the bus station on St Pauls Street.

We walked back to the bus station just as a driver was getting a bus ready for service. As we got closer we saw it was National Express West Midlands 2132 on a #31 to Mossley.

We got on the bus and we flashed the nBus day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We messaged mum to tell her to set off and meet us at Bloxwich. The bus set off out of the bus station and we went North up Stafford Street. We crossed over the A4148 continuing North up Stafford Street and we ran the 2 miles or so up to Bloxwich. When we got to town we went up the High Street and we turned left onto Wolverhampton Road where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked down Wolverhampton Road and we crossed over the High Street and we went into the pub. Matthew went to the toi;et and afterwards we had a can of Coke. Mum called to say she was outside so we went outside to the car. Mum needed to drop something off at work so we headed up to Brownhills. We turned around and we headed North up Park Road. We turned right and we headed Eastwards aklong the A4124. We ran through Pelsall and over the Wyrley and Essington Canal and we headed to the roundabout at the top of Brownhills. We crossed over the roundabout onto the B4155 and we turned right onto Great Charles Street. We stopped for a few minutes near to mums work and Matthew had the bakewell tart we bougt at the Truck Stop Cafe earlier. When mum was ready to go we headed home via the chip shop. We turned left onto the Sadler Road and left onto the B4155. We stopped at the chip shop and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. After I had finished eating we set off along the B4155 and we turned right onto the A452. At the roundabout we joined the Westbound A5. We ran to the bottom of Cannock and we joined the Westbound A460. We ran to the south of Cannock and we joined the Northbound M6. As we battled our way Northwards through the winds and we rain we saw an unidentified Bruce's Coaches BF21 CZV(#590) and Woods Coaches 335(#120). We came off the M6 at junction 15 and we joined the Northbound A500. We came off at Stoke and we turned right onto Wheildon Road. We stopped at uncle Dave's house and dropped uncle Dave off. We got back in the car and we set off for Blurton. We set off onto Wheildon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we got back to Blurton around 19:40. Matthew chilled out on his computer. Matthew had his medication and we did some of the Blog. We also wrote a few emails and generally used the computer to entertain ourselves. Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. Today Matthew was going to Grandma's and going back to Blurton for the weekend. Matthew got up at 08:00 and had his medication. He had toast and orange juice for breakfast. In the morning Matthew set out on foot to the bus stop. Matthew went downstairs and cut through onto City Road. We walked to the bus stop byt the flats. We waited for a bus towards Stoke. As short time later we saw a bus turn the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67156 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along City Road and we ran down the hill into Stoke. We ran forwards onto the A52 and we went under the railway line and over the A500. We ran forwards onto Church Street and in Stoke we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over the road to catch a #25. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 35948 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to the railway station before we sawt downstairs. We set off along Church Street and we ran forwards onto City Road. We ran under the railway linbe and we turned left to follow the A52. We ran along side the railway line and we passed the Station Road junction before we got up and got off the bus. We set off on foot along Boughey Road and e headed into Hanley park. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards went to the playground. After spending some time at the playground we got a taxi to Hanley. We got in the car and we set off along Ridgeway Road. We turned right onto Mawson Grove and left onto the A52. At joiners Square we turned left onto Lichfield Street. We turned left onto the ring road and right onto Bethesda Street. We got out of the taxi outside of the museum. We went into the museum and we had a look at the exhibits. Matthew visisted the toilet. Afterwards we went to get dinner. We walked along Bethesda Street and we followed the ring road around to Lichfield Street and we saw D&G Bus 530 on a #7A to Oxford. We crossed over the ring road and we visited the chip shop. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we headed over to the bus station. We waited for a bus towards Fenton. A short time later we saw a bus come on stand. As it got clsoer we saw it was First Potteries 67141 on a #38A to Waterhayes.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. At the bottom of the road we turned right onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto Broad Street and then we joined the clockwise ring road. At the end we turned left onto Etruria Road before going under the A53 onto Festival Way. We ran past Waterworld and we turned left onto Forge Lane past a the Brindley Farm pub. We looped under the A53 and we joined the Westbound A53. We crossed over the A500 at Etruria and and we ran up the hill into Basford and we ran down hill to the edge of Newcastle and we got onto the one way system. At the jubilee roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road before turning right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew used the toilet and we saw D&G Bus 6006 on a #9 to Clayton. As it got closer we saw that it was D&G Bus 6009 on a #1 to Meir.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton and sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the the grounds. As we travelled through the hospital we saw white minibus DG74 NWE. We turned left onto Hilton Road. We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke town centre. Travelling through Stoke We saw Newfriars College SD74 PVA. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we cut through to the residential unit. We went upstairs and chilled out in his room to use his computer and watch buses. around 14:30 I cam e to pick Matthew up. After sorting out his bag for the weekend we went downstairs and we said goodbye to mum before we set off on foot to catch a bus. We cut through onto City Road and we headed to the bus stop. There was already a bus at the bus stop. As we got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67172 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road and we saw blue minibus V604 MBL. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went to the bottom end of the bus station to wait for a suitable bus. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 35932 on a #25 to Keele.

We got on the bus and we booked to the hospital before we went upstairs and sitting down. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. We got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 35934 as it continued towards Hanley.

We walked up to the hill towards grandma's. At Grandma's Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru. When it was time to go we said goodbye to Grandma and we got in the car. We set off just before 18:00 and we ran down Victoria Street. We turned left onto the A34. We continued southwards into Trent Vale past the site of a new Greggs. We continued through Trent Vale and we stopped at the pub. We walked into the pub and we sat down at our one our normal tables. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 35944 on a #101 to Stafford. Once we had finished eating we got in the car and we set of along the A34 through Hanford and into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line and into Blurton. We got back around 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. We wrote the Blog and sent a couple of e-mails. Matthew also had a some cheesecake and a can of Cherry Coke. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
