Trip to Stockport / Manchester 30-04-2022

Today we decided to re-visit Stockport. No research for the trip was done other than to check the weather, which was for mainly dry with a chance of some rain later on. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast for breakfast. We got ready to go out and we set off around 11:45. We set off thr Blurton onto Beaconsfield Drive and we saw white minibus BJ63 UEH parked up. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we turned right into Sutherland Street to turn around! We ran up Wheildon Road and forwards onto Grove. We turned right onto Blurton Road and at the roundabout we joined the Eastbound A50. We ran through Longton and came off the A50 at Normacot. We turned left onto Uttoxeter Road and right onto Meir Hay Road. We turned left onto Sutherland Road and we followed the road around to the right onto Weston Coyney Road. We ran to the top and we turned left onto the A520. We ran through Cellarhead, and the original plan was to stop at Truckers Tucker food van in the layby in Cheddleton. As we approached we saw that the van wasn't there today. We continued North through Cheddleton and Leek Brook and into the cente of Leek. We Turned right outta Compton onto the A53 and we turned tight onto Leonard Street parked up in the car park. before we went to the cafe we decided to walk into the bus station to see what was about. We saw D&G Bus 21 on layover before working an E1 employee service to Alton Towers.

We walked back down Leonard Street and onto the A53. We crossed the road to cafe delight and it was that busy we had to wait for a table. Matthew used the toilet and by the time we came back out we had been seated. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. Whilst we ate we saw Aimee's KO66 JUJ, YJ55 YHR(#165), Leek Link THZ 5348, Former coach (now a stock car transporter) WHO 947V, Sleek Cars LM66 CPX & First Potteries 65027(#18). Once we had finished we returned to the car park and got back in the car. We set off onto the Southbound A53 and we turned right into St Edwards Street. We turned left onto the A523 and we past the site of the new Tim Hortons. We continued Northwards through Rushton Spencer and we passed Aimee's PO56 ROU on a #109 to Leek. We passed through Macclesfield and a few miles North we turned left onto the B5358. We travelled Westwards for about 3 mile before going North on the A5102 through Bramhall. We continued North through Davenport and we turned left onto Cale Green. We continued Northwards onto King Street West and we went behind the back of the railway station before turning right onto the Gret Egerton Street. We turned right and entered the Red Rock NCP car park and we parked up. We went down to the ground floor and we said goodbye to mum. We walked along Port Street and we turned right into Mersey Square. We saw Stagecoach Manchester 47472 which was on a #328 Cheadle circular service. It was at this point we noticed the old interchange was closed for refurbishment! Buses where being stopped at other stops nearby as well as a temporary bus station on Heaton Lane. We walked up to stop G and we saw Stagecoach Manchester 19266 on a #358 to Hayfield.

We decided to have a go on the famous #192 to Manchester. On the way to the stop we saw High Peak 804 on a #199 to Buxton.

We crossed over the A6 and we headed to the Northbound bus stops. Below us we could see the new temporary bus station which is in use until the old interchange has been refurbished. We saw Stagecoach Manchester 11523 on a #192 to Manchester Piccadilly.

We got on the bus and we booked System One Bus Only Day tickets at £6.40 each before going upstairs and sitting down. The bus set off Northwards up the A6 and we headed into Heaton Chapel. We continued Northwards through Levenshulme and we passed Belle Vue A8 VUE coming the other way. We crossed under the railway and we ran into Longsight. It was unbelievably busy, and just a frenzy of activity. We crossed the route of the #53 and we continued Northwards up the A6. We continued into Ardwick and we saw an unidentified tri-axle Pheonix coach. We crossed under the A57(M) and into the centre of Manchester. We passed manchester PIccadilly railway station and we turned left onto Whitworth Street. We turned right onto Aytoun Street and right onto Portland Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach Manchester 11523 before it returned to Stockport on a #192.

We set off Westwards along Portland Street and we went to the Piccadilly Gardens bus terminal. We saw Stagecoach Manchester 19458 on a #256 to Flixton.

we walked through the terminal to see if what we could catch. We spotted a tardis style toilet and Matthew used the facilities. Once out of the toilet we saw Arriva NW&W 2740 on a #263 to Altrincham.

We waited for a few minutes for the drivcer to return, and we got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only Day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the terminal and we turned right onto Portland Street. We turned left onto Princess Street and right onto Whitworth Street. We turned left onto Oxford Street and we headed Southwards. We turned right onto Booth Street West. We passed the College of Music and we turned right onto Boundry lane. We turned left onto the A5067 and we headed Westwards. We passed Hulme Park and we ran to the end of the road and we joined Chester Road. We joined the A56 and we ran past White City Retail Park. We passed Old Trafford and we continued along the A56 until Streford where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Arriva NW&W 2740 as it continued towards Altrincham.

Matthew decided he wanted the toilet so we walked Eastwards along the A56. As we walked we saw Selwyns 141 heading Westwards.

We continued along the road and we spotted a garage. It was unusual as it was the first time I have seen an all-electric charging station garage. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we had a can of Coke and a Galaxy Caramel bar. We crossed over the A56 and we waited for an Eastbound bus. A short time later we saw Arriva NW&W 2741 on a #263 to Manchester Piccadilly Gardens.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only Day ticket to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off Eastwards along the A56 and we passed Old Trafford again. We passed White City and we turned right onto Chester Road. We ran forwards onto the A5067 and we went for about 2/3 of a mile before we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew had a can of Coke whilst we waited for the next #53 Orbits service. Whilst we waited we saw 2748 on a #263 to Altrincham and Stagecoach Manchester 10611 on a #250 to the Trafford Centre. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was Go North West 4004 on a #53 to Cheetham Hill.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only Day ticket to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off Eastwards along the A5067 and we turned right onto Boundary Lane. We turned left onto Booth Street West and right onto Oxford Road. We ran past the Manchester Museuem and we continued Southwards into Rusholme and through The Curry Mile. We turned left onto the A6010 and we travelled eastwards over the A34. We carried on for another 1/2 mile or so into Longsight where we got up and got off the bus. We walked around the corner onto the A6 ans we waited for a bus towards Manchester. A few minutes later we saw 2 buses approaching. We turned down Stagecoach Manchester 11529 on a #192. We decided to catch Stagecoach Manchester 11515 on a #197 to Manchester.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only Day ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off Northwards up the A6 and we turned left onto Plymouth Grove. We turned left onto Grafton Street and we crossed over the A34. We turned right onto Oxford Road and we headed Northwards into Manchester. We crossed under the railway and we ran forwards onto Oxford Street. We ran forwards onto Peter Street and we turned right onto Deansgate. We turned right onto John Dalton Street. We ran past Albert Square and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus, Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach Manchester 11515 before it returned on a #197 to Stockport.

Once off the bus we went to find somewhere Matthew could go to the toilet. We crossed the tramlines at St Peters Square and we walked alongside the tram stop. We turned left onto Dickinson Street and we walked along this quiet back street onto Portland Street. We spotted a subway, and Matthew went in and used the toilet. Afterwards we brought a small bottle of Coke and a bottle of Tango. When we had finished we walked along Portland Street as we headed towards Piccadilly to catch a #192 back to Stockport. It occured to us that maybe we could catch a bus to get us a little closer to Piccadilly. We stopped at Stop CK and we waited for a bus. Whilst we waited we saw Clarkes BV22 VTZ on a #540 to London.

That bus was set down only at that stop, so we waited for the next bus that was picking up. A few minutes later we saw Go North West 6219 on a #41 to Middleton.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only Day ticket to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Portland Street and we veered left onto Piccadilly where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of Go North West 6219 before in continued Northwards towards Middleton.

Once off the bus we headed Southwards along Piccadilly to the approriate stop. We could see a bus at the stop and we could also see nuses on layover around the corner on Newton Street. We just missed getting on the bus at the stop but we had seen one on layover around the corner awaiting time. A few munutes later the bus came around the corner and it was required Stagecoach Manchester 11553 on a #192 to Stockport.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only Day ticket to the driver for the final time today before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off down Piccadilly and we saw Mario's Coaches M15 RYO parked up outside of Manchester Piccadilly railway station. We headed Southwards under the railway line and under the A57(M). We ran into Ardwick and we followed the A6 to the righ and Southwards into Longsight. We crossed under the railway line and into Levenshulme and we continued through Heaton Chapel. We crossed over the M60 and into the centre of Stockport where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we decided to have a look at the temporary bus station. We walked onto Heaton Lane and to the other end of the bus station passing Magic Bus liveried Stagecoach Manchester 19268 on a #42 to Piccadilly Gardens. At the other end of the bus station we saw Stagecoach Manchester 36077 on #328 Cheadle circular service.

We left the bus station and we crossed over the A6 and we saw Bullocks YR58 RTV returning from a trip to Llandudno.

We walked onto Mersey Square and around the corner onto Port Street. We returned to the car and I went to pay for the parking ticket. Matthew sat in the car and had a bottle of Coke. When we were ready we departed the car park and we ran onto Great Egerton Street. We turned left onto Lancashire Hill and we crossed over the M60. We ran up the hill and at the roundabout we veered slight right onto Sandy Lane. We stopped at a chip shop and Matthew had sausage and chips. When we had finished we ran back down Sansy Lane and we veered slight left onto Tiviot Way. We crossed over the river Tame and we joined the Westbound M60. We ran through Stockport and we came off the M60 onto the M56. We ran past the airport and we came off the M56 and joined the Westbound A556. We joined the Southbound M6 and we ran down to junction 16. On the M6 we saw an unidentified Ridley's coach, and unidentified Roy McCarthy coach, an unidentified The Traveller's Choice coach and Rothwells 163 NHO. We joined the A500 and we ran Southwards through Longport and Stoke. As it was late we decided to drop uncle Dave off home first. We came off the A500 at Stoke and we ran up Whieldon Road. We dropped off uncle Dave's house. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards drank some of uncle Rob's pop. We set off onto Wheildon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfiels Drive and we got back to Blurton around 20:45. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we did some of the Blog. We also wrote a few emails and generally used the computer to entertain ourselves. We watched TV and Matthew got ready for bed. Matthew settled down around 00:00... Mark

Today Matthew was heading to Blurton for the weekend, He was also going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 09:00 and had toast and juice for breakfast. He chilled out in his room and watched buses out of the windown until it was time to go out. We saw Newfriars College SF70 NLM. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned onto Christchurch Street and we waited for a bus to Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and and turned right. We ran up Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off onto Lichfield Street and we went forwards onto Tontine Street and across the square. Wew went into the Potteries shopping Centre and we headed down to supercuts where Matthew used the toilet. Ww went upstairs to the bubble tea cafe and Matthew had a cake washed down with a can of Coke. We went to the phone shop and we crossed Tontine Square and visited the Vape shop. We walked down throught the Square onto Piccadilly and down to the Museum. We headed back up through the Square and onto Town Road. We walked along Quadrant Road and onto Stafford Street. We stopped at at Cafe and we had dinner. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. Once we had finished eating we set off onto Stafford Street and onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 44515 on a #11 to Newcastle. After wards we saw First Potteries 65728 on a #6 to Coalville.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we saw Peelings FAH 275Y. We headed up the bank into Fenton and we got off at Albert Street. Once off the bus we crossed the road and we headed along Manor Street. We crossed over City Road and we headed back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew chilled out in his room until it was time for me to pick him up. I arrived around 15:00 and Matthew came downstairs, We set off onto City Road and we walked towards the bus stop. On the way we saw Afford rent-a-car KV19 NUW parked up outside the garage.

We continued to the bus staop and we waited for the next bus towards Newcastle. We could see that there was a bus in Longton on it's a way. About 10 mintes later the bus appeared. It was First Potteries 69163 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for the next bus towards Grandma's. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 161 on a #9 to Biddulph.

A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 65039 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on the bus and we booked to the Hospital before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus loaded quickly and departed almost immediately and we saw First Potteries 69155 on a #22 to Longton. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. Once off the bus, Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 65039 as it continued towards Stafford.

Once off the bus we headed up the hill towards Grandma's. At Grandma's Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. We set off just after 17:45 and we set off onto Victoria Street. We turned left onto the A34 and we ran into Trent Vale. We stopped at Tesco to get some fuel from the Petrol station before re-joining the Southbound A34 and going to the pub. e walked into the pub and Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with custard. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included First Potteries 65035 on a #101 to Stafford and First Potteries 65728 running Southwards out of service. Once we had finished eating we set off We carried on along the A34 through Hanford and into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line and into Blurton. We got back around 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. We wrote the Blog and sent a couple of e-mails. Matthew also had a tofee crisp Easter egg. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Hanley. We out to catch a bus to Hanley. We went downstairs We set of on foot onto City Road and we crossed over onto Manor Street. At the end of the street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we walked down the hill to the bus stop. We saw Cababilty YJ64 BWL. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was Stanton's of Stoke 4051 VT on a #50 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked the Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down Victoria Road and towards Joiners Square. At the roundabout we went forwards onto Lichfield Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station we saw First Potteries 69155 on layover. We got up and got off the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We went into B&M and we brought a bottle of Coke. Once we had finished we went out of the shop. We walked down Stafford Street and we went to Wilko's. Matthew brought some of his weekly shop. When we had finished we came out onto Stafford Street. We stopped at Savers and Matthew picked up some toiletries. We cut through Percy Street and onto Tontine Street. We stopped at Wrights Pies and Matthew had a sausage roll, can of Coke and a Manchester Tart. When we had finished in the shop we set off across Tontine Square and into the market. We sat down and Matthew ate his sausage roll washed down with a can of Coke and a Manchester Tart. Afterwards we went to the floor above into the shopping centre and we went up to the First Floor. We headed upstairs to the toilet and afterwards went out of the shopping centre onto Stafford Street and we walked down Piccadilly. We veered right onto Brunswick Street and we crossed over Marsh Street onto Clough Street. We visited Tesco and Matthew brought some of his weekly shop. Once we had finished in Tesco we cut through onto Broad Street and we walked down to Pall mall and we walked past radio stoke and onto Lichfield Street. We returned to the bus station and we waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A few minutes later we saw it was First Potteries 65040 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton. The bus was empty, so Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67157 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street we saw Harry Shaw YR17 CYL at the depot. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we saw Cabability WA15 EEV. We continued back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew drank his bottle of Coke. He chilled out on his computer and watched buses from the window. We saw Intercity SF15 DKN going towards Hanley. We went downstairs and out of the residential unit. We got in the car and we drove onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street and right onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street. At Heron Cross we went Eastwards along the A50 to Longton where we came off onto baths Road. In Longton Interchange. We turned right onto Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We turned right onto Sutherland Street. We turned right onto Weston Coyney Road and. At the end of Weston Coyney Road we turned left onto the A520 and we stopped at the church where Matthew went to the toilet. Matthew had a drink of orange. When we had finished we returned to Fenton and we got in the car. We set off onto the A520. We went through Weston Coyney where we saw Voyager Travel YM16 BYB going the other way. We ran to Meir and at the roundabout we turned right and joined the Westbound A50. We ran down a couple of junction to Longton and we came off onto the high level A50. We ran down to Heron Cross and we came of the A50 and onto the link road. We ran up to City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. When we got there we saw Temple Street Church RX18 GZW parked up. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room. He watched television and used his computer. For a late tea Matthew had bangers and mash followed by angel cake and custard. Later on we went to Penkhull by car. We went downstairs and got in the car and set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and left onto City Road. We ran down the hill into Stoke and we joined the A52. We ran under the railway line and we crossed over the A500. We ran into Stoke town centre and around the one-way system. We turned left onto London Road and we turned right onto Chamberlain Avenue and we stopped at one of the house and Matthew had a glass of Coke. Once we had finished the drink we returned to Fenton by car. We got in the car and we set off onto Chamberlain Avenue and we turned left London Road and we ran forwards onto the one-way system onto Campbell Place and we ran forwards onto Church Street. We turned right onto Liverpool Street and we veered right onto Elenora Street. We turned right onto Copeland Street and we veered left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and we ran to the end before turning left onto City Road. We ran under the railway line and up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 67156 on a #23 to Hanley. Later on Matthew was going out. We went downstairs and out of the residential unit. We went to do the shopping. transport for the trip was a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off onto City Road and we crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of Manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and and we stopped at Aldi to pickup Matthew's weekly shop. Once Matthew had finished shopping we returned to the residential unit in Autocabs taxi. We set off up Victoria Road and we turned onto Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back upstairs to his room to chill out. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. We waited for a bus to Hanley. A short time later we saw a bus turn around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67159 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street. and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and due to roadworks we ran to the end of Station Road and turned right. We ran up Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture First Potteries 67159 on a #21 to Trentham.

Once off the bus we walked up Lichfield Street and onto Tontine Street. We walked down over Tontine Square onto Stafford Street. We stopped at Forbidden Planet. After wards we carried on along Stafford Street and we saw First Potteries 63172 on a #3 to Crewe. We contin ued along Stafford Street and we went forwards onto Tontine Street and we crossed over Parliament Row. Parliament Row and we went to the pub. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a glass of Coke. For dessert Matthew had a slice of chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. Once we had finished we set off onto Tontine Street and we went forwards onto Lichfield Street. We waited for a bus back to the Stoke. We saw First Potteries 65729 on a #7 to Kidsgrove. We went outside and we crossed over the ring road. We carried on along Lower Bethesda Street and we turned right onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we walked up to the bus stop. We waited for a bus towards Stoke. A short time later we saw First Potteries 32633 on a #25 to Keele.

We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before we went upstairs and sitting down. We set off out College Road. We turned left onto Station Road and we past the railway station. We ran forwards onto the A52 and we ran alongside the railway line before turning right onto City Road where we got up and got off the bus just before the railway bridge. We walked up City Road and we cut across onto Temple Street and into the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out. He chilled out in his room using his computer and watching buses out of the window. We saw Newfriars College SF70 MLN. For tea Matthew had lasagne followed a couple of slices of chocolate cake. Matthew also had a can of Cherry Coke. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. On the way to the bus stop we saw Cabability WA15 EEV. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 69161 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill and in the petrol station. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We set off onto Hassell Street and we turned right onto High Street and we past . We turned left into Church Street and we turned left onto the Southbound A34 and we went under the subway on to the A34. We turned left onto the A525 and we turned right onto Stanier Street. When we got into the building Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards Matthew went outside and went on the slide. later on Matthew went outside and played with a train. He also played Bingo which he really enjoyed. When we had finished we said goodbye and we returned to Fenton in a bus. We set off onto Stanier Street and we turned left onto the A525. We turned right onto the Southbound A34 and we went under the subway and we walked up Stubbs street and into the bus station. We saw First Potteries 63012 on a #25 to Keele. We waited for a bus back to Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67153 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto barracks Road and we ran down onto the Southbound A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the grounds and onto Hilton Road. We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke town centre. We went forwards onto Church Street and the bus topped in the town centre. After a brief stop we continued along the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We passed the railway station and we turned right onto Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. We ran up the hill through Shelton and we followed the road to the right onto Cleveland Road and Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road, continuing onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off up. We called for a Lucky Seven taxi and we sat outside the bus station until kit arrived a few minutes later. We got in the car and we set off down Lichfield Street and over the ring road. We ran down to joiners Square and we went over the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran through the private road on which the swimming baths are situated. At the end we turned left onto City Road and right into Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the dentist and we saw Roseville BV60 BAA. Matthwe went into the living room and we saw Temple Street Church RX18 GZW. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Hanley. At the Afford garage we saw Afford rent-a-car YP20 VCT parked up. We stood at the bus stop outside the flats and we waited for a bus to Newcastle. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 113 on a #1A to Wood Lane.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw First Potteries 63034 on a #22 to Longton, ERS Medical FN20 BVE and ABC Supreme YA67 VBB. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus. We walked out of the bus station. We set off onto Hassell Street and we turned right onto High Street and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Once we had finished we walked down High Street and we visited Poundland. Matthew brought a can of Coke. We continued along High Street. We turned right onto Ironmarket and past the former Malik's store which Titanic Brewers want to open up as a Bod. We turned right onto Castle Walk and into the bus station. In the bus station we saw First Potteries 32627 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down near to the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee Roundabout and onto the A53. We ran into Basford and over the A500. We ran down into Etruria and over the A500. We continued along the A53 and we turned left onto Forge Lane. We ran out along the Lane and we crossed over the canal before we returned back into Etruria along festival Way. We crossed under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We ran up the hill into Hanley and we ran forwards onto Trinity Street. We turned right onto Stafford Street and after a short wait we continued past the town hall onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. We then got up and got off the bus. Matthew went to the toilet. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 145 on a #318 to Congleton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63117 on a #23 to Newstead.

We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. We saw ABC Supreme HV22 HKX going towards Stoke. We went downstairs and we set off We walked onto Temple Street and left onto Christchurch Street. We saw First Potteries 67153 on a #23 to Hanley.
