Trip to Newcastle / Stafford 25-04-2018

Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. whilst waiting to go out we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX outside.

When it was time to go out we set off on foot onto City Road and we walked down to the stop outside the flats. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it was First Potteries 43877 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we waited for the next bus to Stafford. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 65034 on a #101 to Stafford. We got on the bus and we booked to Stafford before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we ran down through Trent Vale and into Hanford. We continued down through to Trentham and then we got onto the fast section of the A34. We ran through Tittensor to Darlaston pas the Darlaston Inn which closed. We continued down the A34 to the North end of Stone. We Veered left onto Newcastle Road and we ran into Stone town centre. After going around the one-way system and onto Stafford Road. We crossed over the A34 onto Eccleshall Road. We turned left onto Tilling Drive and we ran onto the industrial estate. We saw former Western Greyhound minibus WK53 EUT. We rejoined the A34 at the roundabout where the A51 goes Eastwards and we ran Southwards through the fast section on the A34 to the A513 roundabout. We ran the last couple of miles into town down the A34 onto Foregate Street and we turned right onto Chell Road. We crossed the roundabout onto Tenterbanks and we turned right onto Victoria Road. We turned left onto Station Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walkws South down Station Road We had already planned to visit Theo's Cafe on the corner of Mount Street. On the way we stopped at the toilet block and Matthew used the facilities. In the Cafe we ordered a breakfast and a can of Coke. After we had finished eating we headed back onto Chell Road. Chell Road and forwards onto Tenterbanks. We turned right onto Victoria Road and we went into the Park. Whilst we waited for the bus we wemt to the cafe in the park to get a drink of Coke. When we had finished we went out of the park onto Station Road to waited for the bus back to Newcastle. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 65035 on a #101 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we gooked to Newcastle before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Station Road and at the end we turned left onto the A518. We ran around the South end of town and over the river onto Cope Street. We ran up Eastgate and along North Walls and into the Gaol Square bus station. We left the bus station onto the A34 and we ran Northwards to the edge of town. We continued up the fast section of the A34 to the edge of Stone and then we turned left onto the industrial estate. We ran around the estate and onto Tiling Drive. We turned right onto Eccleshall Road and we crossed the A34 onto Stafford Road. We turned left onto Crown Street and we stopped at the main stop in Stone. We ran North up Newcastle Road and we re-joined the Northbound A34. We ran Morth through Meaford and Tittensor and up into Trentham. We continued North through Hanford and Trent Vale and we past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle. We turned right onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station from the South end. We got up and got off the bus and we saw First Potteries 67661 on a #4A to Hanley. There was a short wait for the bus back to Fenton so we walked along Hassels Street to McDonalds. Matthew had a cup of Coke and then went to the toilet. We returned to the bus station along Hassell Street. A short while later we saw First Potteries 42553 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards then back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we walked across to Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew wen up to his room to chill out and use is computer. He also watched buses out of the window

We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Baker Street and left into Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. At the roundabout we turned sharp left onto Victoria Road. In the shop Matthew picked up his weekly shopping and then went out for tea on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We ran down Victoria Road and down the hill to Joiners Square and we carried on straight across the roundabout onto Lichfield Street. We turned left onto the ring-road and we ran around Hanley to Etruria Road, We ran down Etruria Road and under the A53 and we went straight across onto Festival Way. We ran past Waterworld and we cam back down Forge Lane and under the A53 before wheeling around to join the Westbound A53. We ran up through Etruria and over the A500. We continued through Basford and into Newcastle running around the one way system. We turned left onto Barracks Road and we ran past the bus station. At the roundabout we went straight onto the A519 and we ran over the Lyme and up the hill into Clayton. We ran up the hill and we stopped at the Gatehouse pub. In the pub Matthew went to the toilet and than had a drink of Coke. There was also a soft play area. When it was time to go we got back on board Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off onto the A519 and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We went up barracks Road past the bus station and forwards onto the A53. We ran through Basford into Etruria and over the A500. At Festival Park we came off the A53 and we went towards Hanley up to Etruria Road. At the ring road we saw Stanton's of Stoke minibus PSU 989. We ran around anti-clockwise to Lichfield Street and we ran down to Joiners Square. We turned left onto the A52 and we ran to Stoke past the railway station where we saw D&G 44 on the #40 to Hanley. We continued along the A52 and we followed the road under the railway line. We joined the southbound A500 and we ran down to the A50. We came off at Stanley Matthews way and we ran down to the A5035. We ran East for a short while and we turned left onto Church Road. We continued down to Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton to the A50. We got ontp the A50 and we ran East to Longton past the new buildings near to the Pepper Mill. We joined Baths Road ans we went past Longton transport interchnage before we turned left onto King Street. We ran down into Fenton and Forwards onto City Road.We ran down to the A52 and we got on the Southbound A500 again! This time we came off onto Whieldon Road and we ran up through Mount Pleasant to Heron Cross. We turned left onto Heron Street and forwards onto station bridge Road. and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Masterson Street and we turned right onto Watkin Street. We continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to use his computer and chill out in his room.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. The sessions start on today and children will be able to 'explore all areas' that are usually age-restricted. Matthew got up Around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go out we saw First Potteries 42554 on a #23 to Hanley. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX parked outside.

We walked onto Christchurch Street and we to Watford. Transport for the trip it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We se off onto Christchurch Street We ran forwards onto Station Bridge Road. At Heron Cross we joined the Westbound A50 and we ran down to Sideway. We turned left onto the Southbound A500 and we ran down to the motorway. We got onto the Southbound M6 Northbound M6. We ran North to junction 15 where we cam off onto the A500. We travelled North up to Sideway and then we joined the Eastbound A50. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross and we turned left onto Blurton Road. We went through the traffic lights onto Heron Steeet. We carried on forwards onto Station Bridge Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Masterson Street and we turned right onto Watkin Street. We continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to use his computer and chill out in his room.

Matthew went to Grandma's. We set off ontp Temple Street and we turned left onto Chrsitchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down to the A52. We went under the railway line and over the A500 into Stoke. We went around the one-way system and up Hartshill Road and into Harshill. We turned left onto the Avenue and we ran to the end where we turned right onto the A34. We turned off the A34 and we stopped at Grandma's house. Matthew went on the computer and had a can of Irn Bru. For tea Matthew had shepherds pie followed by treacle tart and custard. Matthew said goodbye to Grandma and we set off Occupation Street and we saw white minibus YK08 PVA. We turned onto the A34 and we ran past Newcastle. Near to the KFC we turned left onto Robertson Avenue. We crossed forwards onto Douglas Road and forwards to the disco. We spent some time at the disco. Matthew went to the toilet and a glass of coke. After doing some dancing we returned to Fenton. We ran back to the A34 and we went South into Newcastle. We turned left onto the A527 and we ran up to the Jubilee Roundabout. We ran around the one-way system onto George Street and we ran into Hartshill. We ran down Hartshill Road into Stoke and we went around the one-way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 and onto City Road before going under the railway line. We climbed the hill and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. Matthew got up and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting for time to got to the day centre Matthew spent time in his room watching buses. We saw Northwood Day Centre BX55 LLC.

Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street where we saw First Potteries 42554 on a #23 to Newstead. We continued along Christchurch Street and into the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

Matthew walked to Aldi to do his weekly shopping. The walked along Christchurch Street and across City Road and onto Manor Street. At the end of Manor Street We set off of foot onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. After crossing over the road we turned right into Manor Street. At the end we turned left onto Victoria Road. Part way down Victoria Road we saw First Potteries 63100 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge. We turned left off Victoria Road and towards the supermarket. we saw Shelton Care Group PE67 XEU. In Aldi Matthew picked up his weekly shop. On the way back up Victoria Road We turned right onto Manor Street and walked to the end. Having crossed over City Road and we crossed over before turning right onto Christchurch Street. We walked round the corner back to the day centre, For dinner Matthew had a beans on toast followed by a cupcake. In the morning Matthew went out on the bus. We set off on foot onto Glebedale Road and we walked around the corner onto City Road. We waited at the bus stop for a First Potteries bus towards Newcastle. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 112 on 1A to Newcastle. We also saw Meadows DX65 DND heading towards Stoke. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. When it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 67661 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We walked along Market Lane and down High Street. We went to McDonalds and Matthew had a cup of coke. High Street Ironmarket Castle Walk Castle Walk and into the bus station. In the bus station we saw First Potteries 67602 on a 4A on the 4A to Hanley. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 32648 on a #25 to Hanley. We decided to do this bus to the bottom end of Fenton. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto barracks Road and we ran down onto the Southbound A34. we turned left. As we travelled through the hospital we saw ABC Supreme HN16 XPS, Smartcars BV62 GCF and First Potteries 32630 on a #25 to Keele. We came out of the hospital and turned left onto Hilton Road. We ran into Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52.We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke town centre. We went forwards onto Church Street and the bus topped in the town centre. After a brief stop we continued over the A500 and we got up and got off the bus just before the railway bridge. We walked up City Road and we cut across onto Temple Street and into the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out on his computer

We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. City Road. We ran up onto King Street past an old pub which has now been reopened as something else. and into Longton under the railway bridge. onto Market Street. We went around onto the one-way system onto Commerce Street onto the Strand we then walked through to Matalan to buy some clothing. We ran onto The Strand and we went under the railway line onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. Birch Terrace and we walked over the ring road and onto Lower Bethesda Street. We walked onto Regent road and back to the bus that was waiting to take us back to Fenton. It was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We ran along Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street we saw Z Carz minibus YJ62 RCO. and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke We came off the A500 onto City Road We continued up City Road and we went under the railway line and up the hill into Fenton. We turned left at Victoria Road and we ran down the hill. We crossed over the roundabout at Joiners Square onto Lichfield street and we ran up the hill towards Hanley. We went around the ring-road We ran around the anti-clockwise ring road and we came off onto Town Road. We joined the A5272 and we ran North to Sneyd Green and at Smallthorne roundabout we veered left onto Moorland Road. We crossed through Burslem and we ran down Newcastle Street down to Trubshaw Cross. We turned right onto davenport Street and we turned left into Westport lake. At the lake Matthew walked around the pool before returning to Shelton care Group DY08 FFX for the journey back to Fenton. We turned right onto Davenport Road and we ran down to Trubshaw Cross. We turned right onto the A5271. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A500 and we ran fast through Etruria and Stoke. We came off the A500 at City Road and we went up the hill to Fenton, and we turned right onto Glebedale Road. Once back at the day centre we walked back to the residential unit. We walked down to Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Temple Street. In the residential unit matthew went to his room and had some toast and used his computer.

At 09:00 we set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre and we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. At the day centre In the morning Matthew went Children's centres in Burslem. Transport for the trip was ABC Supreme HN16 XPS. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. Victoria Road and towards Joiners Square. At the roundabout we went forwards onto Lichfield Street and up the hill. We joined the anti-clockwise ring road and we saw First Potteries 32639 on a #32 to Uttoxeter. We ran around the ring road and we came off at Town Road. After crossing over the ring road we ran out of town along Town Road and forwards onto the A5272. We continued through Sneyd Green to Smallthorne. Hamil Road Lorne Street Lorne Street Hamil Road into Smllthorne and up towards the roundabouts. We turned left onto the A5272 and we ran through Sneyd Green and we saw First Potteries 67639 on a #7A to Biddulph. We carried on to Birches Head. We continued onto Town Road and we joined the clockwise ring Road. We ran around to Lichfield street and we went down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran up Victoria Road into Fenton. At the top of the hill we turned sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and back to the day centre. For dinner Matthew had sausage chips and gravy followed by a Bakewell Tart. In the afternoon Matthew walked to the pub. We set off onto Christchurch Street and walked down to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we walked along Christchurch Street and we stopped at the newsagents on the corner of Temple Street. Matthew brought a can of Coke. We walked onto Temple Street

Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. He was also going to visit uncle Dave later on. The council have brought a new council house on Langland Drive. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw D&G 114 on a #1 to Meir. We were going out to Tittersworth reservoir. Transport for the journey it was Z Carz NK58 AWH. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed over City Road. We turned sharp left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We turned right onto the A52 and at Bucknall we continued onto the A5009 through Abbey Hulton. We continued through Milton and we joined the Northbound A53. We continued North Through Endon. We then ran through Longsdon and Ladderedge and we entered Leek town centre. We followed the A53 through the town centre and we went out the other side and up the hill to Blackshaw Moor where we turned left to run down the narrow road up to Tittesworth Reservoir. At the reservoir Matthew went to the cafe and had a piece of Victoria Sponge and a can of Coke. When we had finished we returned to Z Carz NK58 AWH. We ran back onto the A53 and we ran back through Leek town centre and back towards Stoke-on-Trent along the A53. We stopped at the Co-operative Food store in Badderley Green and Matthew picked up bottle of Coke. Once the shopping had been paid for we got back into Z Carz NK58 AWH for the return Journey to Hanley. We went North up the A53 We passed under the A5272 and past the site of a new building and down to Cobridge. At the lights we turned left onto Waterloo Road. We ran down to the ring Road and then we ran around Hanley. We turned right by the bus station and we parked in the small car park by The Coachmakers Arms. Once we had parked up we walked up Lichfield Street and onto Tontine Street. We stopped at the pub and Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. For dinner Matthew had a chicken breast burger and fries followed by chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. We set off down Tontine Street and onto Lichfield Street. Transport for the jiourney back to Fenton was Z Carz NK58 AWH. We set off out of Lichfield street and we crossed over the ring road. We ran down to Joiners Square and we continued onto Victoria Road. We ran up to the top and we turned sharp right onto City Road. We ran down to Smithpool Road and we turned left. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to use his computer and watch buses. We saw white going towards Hanley. A few minutes later we saw unidentified white minibus going towards Hnaley

We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed City Road onto Manor Street and we ran to the end where we turned left onto Victoria Road. In the shop Matthew picked up his weekly shopping. When we had finished Matthew went to visit uncle Dave for tea on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We ran down Victoria Road and we ran up the hill. At the top we turned sharp right onto City Road. we turned left onto Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street. After dropping off the shopping we continued along Temple Street and we turned left onto Smithpool Road and we turned right onto Whieldon Road. We got up and got off the bus and went to the house. For tea Matthew had chicken, potatoes and carrots followed a couple of slices of chocolate cake. Matthew also had a can of orange Fanta and some digestive biscuits. Matthew chilled out and listened uncle Dave's DJ set. A short time later staff appeared when it was time return to the residential unit. Transport for the trip was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off up Wheildon Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. Matthew was also going out to the disco later. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. Around the corner from the day centre we saw white coach YJ51 ELU parked up.

In the morning Matthew we to the Chatterley Whitfield on Z Carz BN61 RWK. We set off onto Glebedale Road. city Road and down the hill to the A52. We ran under the railway line and we turned right onto the Northbound A500. We ran up to the A527 and we ran Eastwards around the top end of Tunstall towards Pitts Hill. We stopped at the pub and Matthew went the toilet had a glass of Coke. For dinner Matthew had bacon and cheese burger followed by a chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When it was time to go back to Fenton we returned on Z Carz CE02 LYX. We set off along the A527 around the North end of Tunstall and we ran down to the A500. We travelled southwards to Stoke and we cams off the A500 onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and up City Road before turning right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to chill out and use the computer. For tea Matthew had chips and beans followed by a Bakewell Tart. Matthew then went to his room to get ready to go out. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 63172 on a #11 to Hanley. Tonight Matthew went out to the disco in Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. Outside we saw Stanways HSV 193 going to Hanley. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Baker Street and left onto Glebedale Road. At the end we turned right onto City Road. At the roundabout we turned sharp left onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We turned right onto the a52 and we ran up to Bucknall. At the lights we went straight on, forwards onto the A5009 and we ran through Abbey Hulton. We turned left onto Birches Head Road and we stopped at the disco. Matthew went to the toilet and had a drink of Coke and did some dancing. When it was time to go back to Fenton we travelled back on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got on the bus and we set off onto Birches Head Road. We turned right onto the A5009 and we ran down through Abbey Hulton To Bucknall. We ran forwards onto the A52 and up to Joiners Square. We turned left onto Victoria Road and right onto Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and we ran down to Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and back to his room. Matthew used his computer and watched television in his room. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
