Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice. Whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Christchurch Street and up to the day centre. In the morning Matthew went to Newcastle on the bus. We set off on foot onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside Travers Court. A few minutes later the bus to Newcastle appeared and it was dud D&G Bus 112 on The Orange ONE service to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. At the bus station we saw First Potteries 67648 on a #72A to Clayton. Once off the bus we set off up Castle Walk and we turned right onto Ironmarket. We went into the paper shop and Matthew brought can of Coke. We sat on a bench in Ironmarket and Matthew drank his can of Coke. We carried on along Ironmarket and we went into the Roebuck Centre. Matthew visited Argos and brought some batteries. We walked down High Street and onto Hassell Street and back to the bus station. We then went to wait for a bus back to Fenton. Whilst we were waiting we saw D&G Bus 42 on a Nines service to Biddulph.

A few minutes later our bus appeared and it was dud D&G Bus 113 on The Orange ONE service to Meir.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. Whilst waiting to leave the bus station we saw First Potteries 67638 on a #4 to Hanley. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We then crossed over City Road and walked across the car park back to the day centre. For dinner Matthew had a ham sandwich followed by a Bakewell tart. In the afternoon Matthew watched a DVD. When it was time to go back to the residential unit we set off on foot onto Christchurch Street and left into Temple Street. Back at the unit Matthew went on his computer and watched buses from the window. We saw First Potteries 65036 on a #11 to Newcastle.

For tea Matthew had chips followed by cake. In the evening Matthew went shopping. We set off on foot onto Temple Street and left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed over City Road and onto Manor Street. At the end of Manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we went down the hill to the supermarket. Matthew brought some of his weekly food shop. Once we had finished shopping we returned to the residential unit in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off up Victoria Road and we ran to the top. At the roundabout we turned sharp right onto City Road and we ran down to Smithpool Road where we turned left. We turned left onto Temple Street and to the residential unit. Matthew then went to his room to chill out. Matthew then had some ice cream. Later on Matthew had a bath before having some toast for supper. He then chilled out until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Hanley. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Christchurch Street and up to the day centre where we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

In the morning Matthew went onto the computer. For dinner Matthew had ham sandwiches followed by cake. In the afternoon Matthew went out in the Freeport shopping centre in Talke on Z Carz GK02 NWJ. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and onto the A52 continuing into Stoke under the railway line. We crossed over the A500 and we went around the one-way system. We re-joined Church Street after the bus lane and we continued into Hartshill along Hartshill Road. We continued onto George street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We went forwards onto Ryecroft and at the next roundabout we turned right onto the Northbound A34. We went past the old First Bus depot and we continued North up the A34 until we got to London Road were we veered left. We ran up through Chesteron along the B5500 the end we turned right onto Crackley Bank. We continued North up through Red Street and we crossed over the A500. At the roundabout we turned left onto Oak Tree Lane and we continued as far as the shopping centre where we turned right. At the shopping centre Matthew went to Thorntons to buy a bag of toffee. After Matthew went to the toilet before returning to the Z Carz minibus GK02 NWJ. We set off onto oak Tree Land and at the roundabout we turned right onto Talke Road and we crossed over the A500. We continued through Red Street and we ran down Crackley bank into Chesterton. we turned left onto the B5500 and we ran though the centre of Chesterton and onto the Southbound A34 where we saw First Potteries 66845 on a #4 to Audley. In Newcastle we turned left onto Ryecroft and forwards onto the A53. We went around the one-way system onto the A52 and we ran up the hill into Hartshill. we ran down into Stoke and onto the one-way system. We turned onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland Street before continuing onto Glebe Street. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed over the A500 onto City Road. We ran under the railway line and up the hill where we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto temple street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on his computer and watched buses. For tea Matthew had fish fingers and chips. Matthew chilled out in his room for a while until it was time to go out to the disco. Transport for the trip to Birches Head today was Lucky Seven SJ03 ETU.

We set off down and we turned right onto Elsing Street and right onto Hallam Street. We turned left onto Manor Street and we ran to the end. We turned left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We turned right onto the A52 and we ran into Bucknall. We went forwards onto the A5009 and through Abbey Hulton. We turned left into Birches Head Road and to our destination. Also at the disco was City Cabs minibus YX61 VVO. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a drink of Coke. Matthew did some dancing until it was time to return to the residential unit. Transport back was Intercity minibus KX09 DGY.

We got on the bus and we set off onto Birches Head Road. We turned right onto the A5009 and we ran down through Abbey Hulton To Bucknall. We ran forwards onto the A52 and up to Joiners Square. We turned left onto Victoria Road and right onto Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and we ran down to Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in Blurton and he was going to his day service. Later on he was returning to the residential unit. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. we set off through Blurton along Beaconsfield Drive and right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we stopped at the Blurton Road. We went through Blurton and forwards onto Church Road before turning right onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line into Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and into the pub. Once in the pub Matthew went to the toilet. In the pub Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a glass of coke. Whilst in the pub we saw First Potteries 42554 on a #21 to Hanley. When it was time to go we set off onto New Inn Lane. We turned left onto the A5035 and at the traffic lights we went left onto Stanley Matthews Way. We got ont the A50 up to Heron Cross and we turned left towards the traffic lights. We went forwards onto Heron Street and forwards onto Station Bridge Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and at the end we turned left onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left again onto Temple Street and into the residential unit. Matthew dropped of his things and then said goodbye to mum. We set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

In the morning Matthew went out on the bus. We set off on foot onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto City Road. We walked to the bus stop outside the block of flats. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63098 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew went for dinner in a chip shop. We set off along Hassell Street. We sat on a bench in Ironmarket. We turned left down High Street. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. Once we had finished eating we returned to the bus station along Castle Walk. At the bus station we saw First Potteries 41498 on a #4 to Audley.

Matthew went to the toilet and then returned into the bus station. Whilst we waited for the bus back to Fenton we saw First Potteries 63174 on a #99 to Chell Heath.

We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. At the pub Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Once Matthew had finished into the pub we set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. For tea had pizza and chips followed by cake. Later on Grandma came to visit. She brought Matthew a can of Irn Bru. After Grandma left Matthew chilled out in his room. Later on Matthew had a bath before having some toast for supper. He then chilled out until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

Today we decided to re-visit Widnes. In light of recent events in Manchester, we wanted to go somewhere where there were plenty of buses but not a particularly big town. We had checked the weather for today and it was for warm cloudy weather with the possibility of thunder storms. We gave Matthew a list of small town in the North West and Midlands and from the list Matthew chose Widnes. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We set off around 11:45 and we ran through Blurton along Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and left again onto Blurton Road. We ran up the hill and over the A50 through Heron Cross. We turned left onto Grove Road and we ran down into Fenton and forwards onto Wheildon Road. We joined onto the A500 near to Stoke and we passed National Express liveried Traveller's Choice coach FN63 PXB on the #333 to Bournemouth. Further up the A500 we saw Intercity SV07 VLD, white minibus PN66 KKM and Bullocks YN16 UAL / RB11 BUL. After a short while queuing on the A500 near to junction 16 we got on the Northbound M6. Once on the M6 we made good time as it wasn't as busy as anticipated. As we travelled North we saw Luxury Travel YJ16 EKC, an unidentified blue Fiat minibus & an unidentified Hartley's minibus. At junction 21A we headed West along the M62 for a few junctions. Whilst travelling towards the A557 we saw SP Travel MX05 NYW and an unidentified white Mercedes minibus. We travelled South down the A557 where we saw Dan's Luxury Coaches BL16 FYV. We turned right into the town and right again up to the Green Oaks retail park. We parked up and in the car park we saw silver minibus NK15 CCZ & white minibus PE03 TZV. We headed towards the market where we we going for dinner and on the way we stop to see what was in the bus station. We saw required Halton Transport 25 on a #14 service to Liverpool.

A few minutes later we saw required Arriva NW&W 2726 on a #79C to Murdishaw.

We crossed the road and we saw dud Arriva NW&W 2540 on a #82A to Liverpool.

We walked into the market and we walked to the back corner. Mum ordered the food whilst uncle Dave saved a table and Matthew went to the toilet. Matthew seemed to take a little longer than usual and when he came out he had an asset tracking barcode which he must of peeled off something stuck to his chin! After we binned the barcode, we sat down to wait for the food. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. We said goodbye to mum and we walked back through the market. We walked out to the bus station and we saw Halton Transport 11 on a #61A to Murdishaw.

A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was required Arriva NW&W 2542 on a #79C to Murdishaw.

We got on the bus and we booked Halton Daysaver tickets at £4 before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto Green Oaks Way and we turned right onto Gerrards Street. We ran forwards onto Milton Road and we turned left onto the B5419. We went through the old town and across the roundabout onto Victoria Road. We turned right onto Hutchinson Road and we joined the the A533. We crossed over the Jubilee Bridge and we saw Orion Travel FHZ 9593 near to the railway station on rail replacement work. We wheeled around onto Station Road and into the old town. We crossed over the canal and past 'The Archers' pub and onto the High Street. We turned into the bus station and we saw Antony's Travel minibus W10 ANT. We got up and got off the bus and we managed to get a picture of Anthony's Travel W10 ANT before it left the bus station.

We had seen what was probably the most interesting bus allocated to the Arriva Runcorn depot, 2726 going towards Murdishaw earlier. We figured out that it would probably be the next #79C back to Liverpool. We decided to cross over to the other side of the bus station to wait for it. A few minutes later as expected we saw required Arriva NW&W 2726 on the #79C to Queens Square bus station.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Halton Daysaver ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off up the High Street and we passed close to the Waterloo pub as was and we joined the A533 and we saw Vision coach BK63 ZSW on rail replacement work by the railway station. We crossed over the Mersey and we ran into the old town of Widnes up Victoria Road. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran through a bus lane into the Asda car park. We joined onto Gerrard Street past Marks & Spencers and we turned left onto Green Oaks Way. We we got to the bus stops by Green Oaks we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Arriva NW&W 2726 as it carried on towards Liverpool.

We crossed over to the other side of the bus station to catch a bus back towards Runcorn. Almost immediately a bus came around the corner and it was required Arriva NW&W 2539 on a #79C to Murdishaw.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Halton Daysaver tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto Green Oaks Way and we saw Link Network MX05 ELJ on a #110 service to Warrington. turned right onto Gerrards Street. We ran forwards onto Milton Road and we turned left onto the B5419. We went through the old town and across the roundabout onto Victoria Road. We turned right onto Hutchinson Road and we joined the the A533. We crossed over the Jubilee Bridge and we saw Selwyns YJ04 HHZ near to the railway station on rail replacement work. We wheeled around onto Station Road and into the old town. We crossed over the canal and past 'The Archers' pub and onto the High Street. We turned into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. In the bus station waiting for departure time was required Ashcroft's Travel X989 CNO on the #52 Beechwood circular service.

We decided we were going to do this bus, so we waited for the driver to ready the vehicle for service. We got on the bus and we booked single fares to Halton Lea South at £1.10 each. There was a short wait for departure time, and at 15:20 we set off out of the bus station. We went Eastwards onto the B5155. We crossed the canal and we turned left onto Halton Road. We travelled around 1/2 mile and we turned left onto Halton Brow, running under the A533. At the end of Halton Brow we turned right onto Main Street through and old part of the town with older building that you typically find in a rural village in Cheshire. The road curved around to the East ans we turned right onto Holt Lane. We ran through part of the Halton Lea shopping centre that were very run down and the we circle around onto the Southway and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew took another picture of Ashcroft's Travel X989 CNO before it carried on around the circle.

We decided to go the toilet whilst we were near to the shopping centre so we went down the stairs ans into the shopping centre we walked forwards into the main plaza and e turned right past the shops and right to the toilets. Matthew used the facilities and then we returned back to the bus station up the escalators. When we go back we saw required Arriva NW&W 5003 on a #1 Halton Lea circular.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Halton Daysaver tickets to the driver. The rear of the bus was empty so Matthew took a picture inside Arriva NW&W 5003 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

We set off out of the bus station along the busway and we went clockwise around the large circuit. We passed Pheonix park and we continued past Castlefields and Windmill Hill. We past close to Runcorn East railway station and then we emerged into the Murdishaw turning circle. We got up and got off the bus and we turned down a bus so that we could visit the Co-operative Food store. Matthew brought a can of Coke and a small bottle of Irn Bru as well as a couple of chocolate bars. We went outside and we saw required Arriva NW&W 2529 arrive on a #79C service.

The bus went on layover so we went up to the bridge to take a few pictures. Matthew also ate one of his milky Way bars. We went back down to the bus stop and we saw Arriva NW&W 5004 on a #2 Halton Lea circular service.

A few minutes later Arriva NW&W 2529 was readied for service and pulled onto stand. We got on the bus and we flashed the Halton Daysaver tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the busway towards Halton Lea Hospital. The bus in front was enpty so Matthew took a picture inside Inside Arriva NW&W 2529.

We passed the hospital and then we stopped at Halton Lea South. We carried on West onto Grangeway. At the end we ran forwards onto Linkway and right onto Laburnum Grove. We turned right onto Windsor Grove and we followed the road around. We ran North up Norleane Crescent and we turned left onto Heath Road. We then did a loop around Langdale Road and Ivy Street before we rejoined Heath Road, this time going Northwards. We continued up the B5155 and we followed the road to the left over the canal. We then travelled via Lena Way into the town centre and into the bus station. We then got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of Arriva NW&W 2529 before it carried on towards Hough Green.

Whilst we waited for a bus back to Widnes we saw Arriva NW&W 3139 on a X1 service to Liverpool ONE bus station.

A few minutes later we saw dud on a #110 to Warrington.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Halton Daysaver tickets to the driver for the last time before we sat down towards the back of the bus. Mum had moved the car to a space by the bus station but she hadn't got back from the shops, so we waited in the bus station taking a few pictures. A few minutes later we saw required Arriva NW&W 2495 which was an unusual bus on the #17 to Widnes.

A few minutes later mum turned up and we got in the car. Matthew had a Greggs sausage roll and a small bottle of Irn Bru. We set off onto Green Oaks Way and we did a u-turn at the roundabout and headed back to the A557. We travelled North for around 3 mile before we turned right onto the Eastbound M62. As we travelled towards the M6 we saw white minibus YC17 BVL. At junction 10 we got onto the Southbound M6 and as we travelled towards home we saw Malbank HN64 DBX & Artists Delight (Austria) IM GIAN 1. At junction 16 we went South down the A500 to Sideway where we turned left onto The Eastbound A50. As we travelled up towards Longton we passed Parks of Hamilton coaches KSK 948 & LSK 613. We ca,e off the A50 and we went to Z Carz to see what was parked up on the spare ground this evening. In the first row we saw Z Carz Citroen minibus LV59 DZC.

We returned onto the A50 and we came off at Heron Cross where we saw white minibus DU64 RXA. and we ran through Blurton along Blurton Road. We turned right onto Church Road and we turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive. We got back home around 19:00. For a late tea we had bangers and mash with carrots followed by a jam filled shortbread biscuit. Matthew then chilled out on his computer until bedtime around 00:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. Matthew was also going to Blurton later. We found out that all of the newer First Potteries Solo's, with the exception of 53155 had moved to First Cymru in South Wales. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. In the morning Matthew had some sun cream on as he was going out in the hot sun for the day. We were going to Central Forest Park via bus and taxi. We set off onto foot onto Glebedale Road and and we crossed over City Road. We walked up to the roundabout and around the corner onto Victoria Road to wait for the bus. Whilst we waited for the next First Potteries bus we saw Scraggs YJ59 GHH on a #50 to Hanley.

A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63179 on a #6 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down Victoria Road and down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout onto Lichfield Street and at the top of the hill we crossed over the roundabout and we stopped at the bus stop outside the bus station. Once off the bus we walked up Lichfield Street onto Tontine Street. We stopped at the pound bakery and Matthew had small bottle of Pepsi. We then walked back down Tontine Street and onto Lichfield Street. We waited for a taxi and when it appeared it was Intercity SF08 BVH. We got on and we booked to Central Forest Park. We set off down Lichfield Street and we went anti-clockwise around the ring road to Town Road. We ran out of Hanley and onto the A5272. We continued North for a short while and we turned into the park. At the park Matthew had an ice cream. After we had finished at the park we returned to Hanley in an Intercity taxi. We set off Southwards down the A5272 and forwards onto Town Road. We crossed over the ring road and we continued as far as the Intu Potteries shopping centre where we got out. We walked down onto Trinity Street and we stopped at the Opticians as Matthew had an appointment for an eye test. After Matthew had his eye test we walked through the Piccadilly Arcade and across the road onto Cheapside. We walked past the town hall onto Bagnall Street. We walked around the bus station and we saw First Potteries 63172 on a #6 to Weston Coyney.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off up Lichfield Street and we turned right into Birch Terrace. We followed the road around to the left onto Charles Street. At the top we turned right onto Old Hall Street before turning right onto the ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. One off the bus we set off on foot onto City Road and we turned left into Glebedale Road. When we got back to the day centre Matthew and the other service user had a barbecue. Matthew ate some sausages and drank some Pepsi cola. We saw Blackfriars minibus EU55 KVZ.

Matthew chilled out in the grounds of the day centre until it was time to return to the residential unit. We set off onto foot onto Christchurch Street and left onto Temple Street. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out whilst he waited for me to come and pick him up. We saw First Potteries 42553 on a #23 to Hanley.

A few minutes later I turned up and we packed a few things into his bag to take home. We also saw Copeland's Tours MIB 236 going towards Stoke.

We said goodbye to the staff and we got in the car. We ran onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. At the end we turned right onto Station Bridge Road and we followed this around onto Heron Street. We ran through heron Cross and over the A50 and we saw Lightning Travel W2 DLT. We continued along Blurton Road and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive we got home around 15:00. Whilst we waited to go out Matthew had a glass of orangeade. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road.Whilst we waited for our bus we saw First Potteries 67604 on a #22 to Longton.

A few minutes later, as expected and on time we saw First Potteries 67648 turned the corner.

We got on the bus and we booked to Trent Vale and we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035 and we ran over the railway line into Trentham and we saw Autocabs SH09 OMR at the petrol station. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we ran up the hill and we entered Hanford. We turned right into Wilson Road and we passed First Potteries 67155 on #21A to Trentham Gardens. We turned left into Church Lane and we joined the A34 and we saw First Potteries 42552 on the #21 to Trentham. We then headed into Trent Vale and we turned right into Harpfields Road and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67648 as it carried on towards the bus station.

We walked back onto the A34 and we saw First Potteries 67637 on the final #22 turn to Longton.

We continued along the road to the pub and we sat on the wall to wait for mum to arrive. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 65038 on a #101 to Stafford.

When mum arrived we went inside the pub. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included First Potteries 65042 on a #101 to Hanley. ABC Supreme KX13 DXL on a Southbound hospital shuttle and ABC Supreme KX14 EBZ going Northwards. When it was time to go we got in the car to go pick up uncle Dave. We ran down the A34 and we got onto the Northbound A500. We went Eastwards along the A50 where we saw Coastal Coaches PO14 ATF. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross and dropped down into Fenton to pick up uncle Dave. Once we had picked him up we returned to Heron Cross and we crossed the A50. We ran along Blurton Road and right onto Church Road. We turned right into Beaconsfield Drive. We got home around 18:15. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we composed a few e-mails and sorted a few things out. We then chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:30... Mark
