Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going bus and going to visit uncle Dave later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group YS70 KWG. We went downstairs and we set off on foot to the bus stop. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. We continued up City Road. We carried on down the road and we waited for a bus towards Newcastle. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67156 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got a picture of First Potteries 67156 before it returned towards Hanley on a #11 service.

Once of the bus we set off up Castle Walk and we stopped at the 3 shop. Afterwards we continued up Castle Walk and we turned left onto Ironmarket. We saw the former Malik's store which Titanic Brewers want to open up as a Bod. We walked down past the old town hall adjacent to the High Street and we turned left onto Hassell Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus towards Keele. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 67148 on a #22 to Longton.

A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 35946 on a #25 to Keele.

We got on and booked to Keele before we went upstairs and we sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road we turned right onto Ryecroft. We veered left onto Merrial Street and after a brief stop we ran forwards onto Church Street. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran forwards onto the A525. We turned right into Orme Road and we saw First Potteries 63113 on a #25 to Hanley. We continued along Orme Road before we re-joined the Westbound A525. We climbed the steep hill up to Keele and we turned left into the campus. We turned left onto University Drive we did a u-turn and headed into the campus. At the main roundabout we turned left and we ran around the shops and student union bar. We ran through the campus past the back of the library and out the other side into the village. We got up and got off the bus. We crossed over The Village and walked to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. For tea Matthew had a cajun chicken burgers followed by chocolate brownie and ice cream. After we had finished eating we went outside and we saw First Potteries 33829 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke we went upstairs. The rear of the top deck was empty so Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 33829.

We set off through the campus We turned right onto University Drive and we ran up to the entrance of the campus before turning right onto the A525. We ran down the hill and we crossed over the roundabout. We went past the scrapyards which is going to be the site of some new houses. We turned left onto Orme Road. We ran through the estate and to the end of the road. We turned left onto the A525 and at the roundabout onto the Southbound A34. We ran down two roundabout and we went left onto Barracks Road. We entered the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once in the bus station we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63103 on a #4 to Waterhayes. Eventually the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67143 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500 and under the railway line. We ran up City Road and we got up and got off the bus by the the swimming baths turn. We crossed over City Road and we walked. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room Later on we went to Bagnall in the car. We went downstairs to the car and we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street and we went through Heron Cross. We ran up Blurton Road and we turned left to joined the Eastbound A50. We came off the A50 and onto Uttoxetter Road and we turned right onto Meir Hay Road. We followed the road around onto Sutherland Road and we turned right onto Weston Coyney Road and past the site new Lidl. We ran to the top and we turned left onto the A520. We continued Northwards up to Cellarhead and we turned left onto the A52. We turned right onto Armshead Road and we ran through Wetley Moor. We ran forwards onto Bagnall Road and we stopped at Jackson Nurseries. Stopped at the cafe and Matthew had a bottle of Coke. When we had finished we we set off onto Thornyedge Road and onto Armshead Road. We turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Werrington. We ran down Ash Bank and into Bucknall and we followed the road to the left. We ran through Joiners Square and over the roundabout towards Stoke. We ran near to the railway station and we followed the road alongside the railway line. We turned left onto City Road and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs to chill out before going to uncle Dave's. Matthew took a can of Irn Bru. Whilst he waited he used his computer and watched buses out of the window. When it was time to go to uncle Dave's we went downstairs and we saw transport for the trip was Shelton Care Group YS70 KWG. We got on the bus and set off onto Temple Street and we saw Stanton's of Stoke NXJ 321. we turned left onto Smithpool Road and we turned right onto Whieldon Road. We got up and got off the bus and went to the house. For tea Matthew had sausages potatoes and carrots with gravy followed by a slice of mini battenbergs. Later on he had a drink of Fanta orange and a few digestive biscuits. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew return to the residential unit. Transport for the trip was Shelton Care Group YS70 KWG. We set off up Wheildon Road and we turned onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street the Queen Elizabeth II Court. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. He also ate the a can of Irn Bru and a golden crunch creams. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to Belper he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to Belper and we saw First Potteries 63361 on a #11 to Hanley. In the morning Matthew went to Leek. We went downstairs and we got in a car. We set off onto Temple Street. we turned left onto Christchurch Street whwre we saw First Potteries 67153 on a #23 to Hanley. We turned left onto Baker Street and left into Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. At the roundabout we turned sharp left onto Victoria Road. down the hill to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A52 and we ran up to Bucknall. At the lights we continued onto the A5009 and we ran through Abbey Hulton and Milton to Stockon Brook and we joined the Northbound A53 and we ran through Endon and and Longsdon. We continued through Ladderedge and up the hill into Leek town Centre. We turned left onto St Edwards Street and left onto the A523 past the site of the new Tim Hortons. We took the next right turning and parked up. We went in the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. Matthew had a mixed grill with beans washed down with a glass of Coke. For afters Matthew had chocolate fudge cake and custard. When we had finished we got in the car and we set off onto the A523. We turned right onto St Edwards Street and right onto the A53. We ran out of lee town centre and we climbed the hill up towards Ladderegde. We continued through Longsdon and down towards Endon. We continued down through Stockton Brook and we turned left onto the A5009. we ran through Baddeley Green and into Abbey Hulton. We continued under the railway line and into Bucknall. At the light we ran forwards onto the A52 and towards Joiners Square. We turned left onto Victoria Road past Adsa and the B&M. We turned right onto Manor Street and we turned left onto City Road and we turned right Glebedale Road. We turned right Baker Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We ran to the end of the road and we got out. We walked around the corner onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. On the way to the bus stop we saw AJS Passenger Travel WX08 BMY.

We continued down to the bus stop and whilst we waited we saw Warringtons of Ilam BX11 HHG going towards Stoke.

A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67143 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we went upstairs. When it was time to go the bus set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We turned left at the roundabout onto the A34. we ran South as far as the hospital where we turned left. As we travelled through the hospital. We came out of the hospital and turned left onto Hilton Road. We ran into Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran down the hill into Stoke town centre and along Church Street. After a brief stop we continued along the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We passed the railway station and we turned right onto Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. We ran up the hill through Shelton and we followed the road to the right onto Cleveland Road and we turned left onto Hinde Street. We crossed over the ring road and we turned right onto Broad Street. We turned right onto Marsh Street and then we turned right into Pall Mall. We ran forwards onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we ran down John Street and left onto onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto the clockwise ring road and we turned left onto Hinde Street and we saw Paul's of Stoke YN61 AXR. We turned right onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and under the railway line. We ran up City Road and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked back to to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street and left onto Temple Street and we got in the car and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we crossed over City Road onto Manor Street. We turned left onto Victoria Road and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we returned to Fenton in we got in the car and we set off onto Victoria Road and at joiners Square. We went straight onto Lichfield Street and we turned left onto the clockwise ring road and we turned left onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned right onto Shelton New Road and we saw Cabability minibus DG17 UYM parkd up at their depot. We ran along the B5045 and through Hartshill and we ran forwards onto the A52 and at the roundabout we ran forwards onto Ryecroft. We continued onto Knutton lane and we turned left onto Dunkirk. We turned right onto Poolside and we arrived at Our Space. Matthew went to the toilet. He also spent time in the soft play area. When we had finished we said goodbye and we returned to Fenton in a taxi. We set off onto Stanier Street. When we returned to Fenton in a Intercity taxi. We set off along Stanier Road and we turned left onto Pool Side. We turned left onto Dunkirk and we turned right onto Knutton Lane. We around the roundabout and back onto the Ryecroft and we ran forwards onto the one-way system. We continued onto the A53. We ran into Basford and over the Soutbound A500 and we ran through Shelton and Stoke. We came off the A500 and we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road, We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. When Matthew got back we went upstairs and went up to his room. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

We went downstairs and we walked through onto City Road. We crossed over at the crossing and we headed to the stop outside the shops. We waited for a bus towards Longton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67144 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off up City Road and forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and under the railway line into Longton town centre. The bus stopped on Market Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over the street and we headed up Transport Lane. We crossed over The Strand and we cut through the passage past Next and we headed towards Tesco. We used the cash machine and afterwards we headed into Tesco. We walked past the Interchange and onto The Strand and we walked up to the bus stop. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67174 on a #6A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. we bus set off down The Strand and we ran under the railway line onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road past the new Burger King. We turned right into Victoria Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot down Victoria Road and we cut through onto KFC for food to take away. Matthew had a chickenburger and fries washed down with a cup of Tango orange. Once we had finished eating we walked back along City Road and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Hanley. At the Afford garage we saw Afford rent-a-car DY21 JWE parked up.

A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching and we saw it was First Potteries 63363 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off up City Road and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. We turned left onto the A5272 and and we ran through Bentilee and we turned left onto Beverley Drive and due to a diversion we came back down beverley Drive and left onto the A5272 and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Road and right onto John Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got a picture of First Potteries 63363 before it returned towards Hanley on a #11B service.

Matthew used the toilet. Afterwards Matthew visited the shop and brought a bottle of Coke and a toffee Crisp. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67158 on a #11 to Newcastle. A few mninutes later the bus appeared. It was First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we ran down John Street and left onto onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto City Road and as we stopped at The Range. In the shop Matthew went into the cafe. He had a bottle of Coke. After he had finished eating we returned to the car. We set off out onto City Road and we ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We turned left onto Lonsdale Street and right onto Fletcher Road. We turned right onto All Saints' Road and left onto London Road and we ran through the West End to Oakhill. We ran past the former Oak Tree pub where we are building a new convenience store. We crossed the road and walked up Trent Valley Road to the Londis shop. Matthew brought a bottle of Coke. Once we had finished in the shop we walked back onto London Road and we turned right onto Chamberlain Avenue and we stopped at one of the house and Matthew had a glass of Coke. Once we had finished the drink we returned to Fenton by car. We got in the car and we set off onto Chamberlain Avenue and we turned left London Road and we ran forwards onto the one-way system onto Campbell Place and we ran forwards onto Church Street. We turned right onto Liverpool Street and we veered right onto Elenora Street. We turned right onto Copeland Street and we veered left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and we ran to the end before turning left onto City Road. We ran under the railway line and up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window. For a late tea Matthew had bangers and mash followed by angel cake and custard. Matthew returned to his room to chill out. He watched television and used his computer. later on he had a bath. For supper Matthew had some toast. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark

Trip to Bury / Bolton 25-11-2023

Today we decided to re-visit Bury. Not much research was done other than to check the weather, which was for cold and sunny. Matthew woke up at 09:00 and had his nedication. He got up around 10:00 and had toast for breakfast. We got in the car and we set off around 11:20. We set off through Blurton and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road past the former Coral betting shop. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran to the motorway and we joined the Northbound M6.Almost immediately we caught up with Berrys Coaches WF17 DGO on a day trip.

Travelling up the M6 we saw white minibus HN04 TXS, an unidentified Ashcrofts coach, an unidentified blue ALS coach, School minibus DK57 JVD / DK58 FAA and TNS Travel YD73 FOV. We came off the M6 at junction 21A and we headed Eastwards towards Greater Manchester On the M62 we saw grey minibus HF13 MXW and an unidentified blue double decker. We ran forwards onto the M60 and we came off the ring road onto the Northbound M66. We joined the Westbound A58 and we turned right onto the B6221. We turned right onto Willow Street and we ran to the end. We turned left onto the B6222 and we turned left into Higher Row. We parked uo and we went into the Parkside Cafe. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we got the trip bag from the car and we said goodbye to mum. We waited at the nearby bus stop for a bus towards Bury. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Transdev Rosso 603 on a #468 to Bury.

We got on the bus and we brought System One bus only tickets £5 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the B6222 and we ran Westwards to the edge of town. We turned left onto Derby Way and we past the site of the old First bus garage which is now a car dealership. We turned right onto the A58 and we past the rear of the Market and we turned right onto Haymarket Street and right into the Interchange where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we headed over to the other side to visit the toilet. We had a look around to see what we might catch. We saw Go North West 3228 on a #135 to Manchester.

We walked into the middle stand and Matthew wanted to do the bus towards Radcliffe. Closer inspection revealed it was Go North West 6006 on a #98 to Manchester.

Whilst we waited for the bus to be readied for service, we took a few more pictures. We saw Transdev Rosso 82 on a B4 to Heywood. Also seen was Go North West 3231 on a #135 to Manchester.

We got on the bus and we placed the System One bus only day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we turned left onto Haymarket Street. We turned right onto the A58 and we ran down the hill into the valley. We continued Westwards along the A58 and we turned right onto B6196. We headed up the hill towards Starling before turning left onto Watling Street. We turned right onto A58 past a new petrol station. We continued Westwards for a short while before turning left onto Higher Ainsworth Road. We headed Southwards before turning right onto Turks Road. We turned left onto Coronation Road and we ran to the end. We turned left onto Pilkington Road and right onto Lowe Street going around the Redbank playing fields. We turned right onto Ainsworth Road and at the end we turned left onto Water Street. We continued onto Blackburn Street and we ran through the town centre before turning right onto Dale Street and entering the small bus station at Radcliffe where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Go North West 6006 as it continued towards Manchester.

Once off the bus we headed over to Radcliffe Market and Matthew used the toilet. We decided to go into Lidl to see what we could buy. We brought some battenburgs and a bottle of Coke. We came out of the shop and we saw Go North West 3066 on a #98 to Bury. We sat in a bus stop and Matthew had some Coke. A short time later a bus came onto stand A. We saw it was Go North West 6228 on a #524 to Bolton.

We got on the bus and we we flashed the System One bus only day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto Dale Street. We turned right onto the A665 and we headed Northwards. We followed the road out of town and the road turned Westwards. At the edge of town we joined the Westbound A6053. We ran into Little Lever and followed the road to the left. We ran out of town and past the Moses Gate Country Park before turning right onto the A666. We came off the A666 at the next junction and onto Manchester Road. We ran Northwards through Burnden and into the centre of Bolton. We turned left into Great Moor Street and left into Newport Street before entering the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we headed up to the North end of the Interchnage to take a few pictures. We saw Go North West 3431 on a #534 to the Oldhams Estate.

On the top stabd was a bus towards Manchester which Matthew decided he would like to do. We saw it was Go North West 3280 on a #8 to Manchester.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only tickets to the driver before we went upstairs. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto Great Moor Street and we turned right onto the A575. We headed Southwards past the railway station and we ran fowards onto the B6536. We ran through Burnden then along side the A666 before going forwards onto the A6053. We ran through Farnworth and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took a picture of Go North West 3280 before it continued on towards Manchester.

Once off the bus we crossed over the road. Matthew decided he wanted the toilet so we looked for pub. We spotted The Post Office so we went in a Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards Matthew had a glass of Coke. We sat near to the fire and we chatted to a couple of the locals. When we had finished we went outside and we headed back Northwards to the bus stop. On the way back we saw Go North West 3437 on a #22 to Bolton.

We stood at the bus stop and we waited for a bus towards Bolton. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Go North West 3429 on a #8 to Bolton.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only tickets to the driver before we went upstairs. The bus set off Northwards up the A6053 and we went past Moses Gate railway station before running alongside the A666. We continued onto B6536 and We ran Northwards into Bolton. We ran forwards onto the A575 and we turned left onto Great Moor Street. We turned left onto Newport Street and we turned left into Bolton Interchange. We got up and got off the bus. Matthew visited Greggs and we brought triple choclate cookies. We sat on a bench to eat the cookies and whilst there we saw Stagecoach Lancashire 11637 on a #125 to Preston. We decided to catch a #524 back to Bury so we waited at the appropriate stand. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. We saw it was Go North West 3449 on a #524 to Bury.

We got on the bus and we we flashed the System One bus only day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. Whilst we waited to set off we saw Go North West 4135 in the Interchange. We set off out of the bus station and we turned right onto Great Moor Street. We turned right onto Manchester Road and we headed Southwards. We ran through Burnden past the site of the old Bolton Wanders football ground. Just over 1/2 mile South of the town we joined the Southbound A666 and came off at the next junction. We went under the A666 and we turned left onto the A6053. We ran past Moses Gate Country Park and we entered Little Lever from the West end. In town we turned right and followed the A6053 Southwards. We ran for around a mile to the West end of Radcliffe and we joined the Eastbound A665. The road turned South and we turned left onto Blackburn Street. We turned right onto Dale Street and we entered Radcliffe bus station. After a brief stop we left the bus station onto Deansgate. We contined onto Church Street West and we ran forwards onto the A6053 and we headed Eastwards for about a mile. We crossed the river Irwell and we joined the Northbound A56. We ran for about a mile before we veered right on to Knowsley Street. We crossed over the A58 and we ran forwards onto Haymarket Street before turning right into the Interchange where we got up and got off the bus. We went took a few pictures before we went to find mum. We saw Go North West 3208 with it's LED lit EE advert on the side.

We stopped at the toilet for Matthew before going to the agreed meeting place. We crossed over Haymarket Street and walked along Moss Street. Mum seems to have got a bit lost so we had to wait a few minutes for her to turn up. Whilst we waited we saw Transdev Rosso 83 on a B1 service to Ramsbottom.

We got in the car and Matthew had the rest of the Coke. We set off along Moss Street and we turned left onto Manchester Road. We turned left onto the A58 and right onto Knowsley Street. We ran forwards onto the Southbound A56. We ran down the hill and over the River Roch before stopping at the chips shop. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. When I had finished eating we set off onto the Southbound A56. We ran down towards Prestwich and we joined the anti-clockwise M60. We joined the Westbound M62 and we headed into Cheshire. We joined the Southbound M6 and Matthew indicated he neede the toilet so ewe stopped at Knutsford Services. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we saw black minibus NK71 AHN. We rejoined the M6 and we continued Southwards. We came off the M6 at junction 16 and we ran though Longport and Etruria into Stoke. We came off the A500 and we diverted onto Wheildon Road. We dropped off uncle Dave and Matthew got out to use the toilet. Matthew had a can of Irn Bru and put his battenburg cakes in uncle Dave's draw. Once we had dropped off uncle Dave we set off onto Wheildon Road and past the former Regent pub which is now up for sale. We ran forwards onto Grove Road and we saw green minibus R482 NDM parked up. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we got back to Blurton around 20:45. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we did some of the Blog. Today Matthew was going back to Blurton. He was also going out on the bus and going to visit Grandma. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had his medication. For breakfast Matthew had toast and orange juice. In the morning we went to Hanley in a Lucky Seven taxi.We went downstairs and we got in the taxi and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we crossed City Road on Manor Street. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran across the roundabout at Joiners Square and we stopped at the Emma Bridgewater factory. Matthew went intside and visited the Factory Shop. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we went to the cafe and Matthew had a can of Coke and chocolate cake. When we had finished we set off up Lichfield Street and we crossed the ring road before going to the bus station. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short time later we saw a bus arrive on stand. We saw it was First Potteries 67147 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle. we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and due to a diversion we came back down beverley Drive and left onto the A5272 and up to Adderley Green. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past the site of the new Burger King. We conrinued down to the flats where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went o nto Smothpool Road and we stopped at the chip shop to pick up dinner. We walked along Smithpool Road and turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs ans Matthew had his dinner. He hda sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. Matthew went to his room to chill out and wait for me to arrive. Whilst waitimg we saw Stanton's of Stoke new minibus VT73 SOS. We turned up around 15:00 and Matthew came downstairs. We cut through onto City Road and walked down to the bus stop by the flats. Whilst we waited for the bus to Newcastle we saw First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley.

A few miniutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63356 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. Near to the roundabout we saw PO Lloyd BV20 HPP. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road passing Leons 247 going the other way. We turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw 2 buses that were heading in the right direction. We saw First Potteries 35949 on a #25 to Keele. Another bus came on stand and it was First Potteries 33829 on a #25 to Hanley.

The new wer double decker pulled off before we got to it, but the other one was still there. We got on the bus and we booked to the hospital before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. We got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 33829 as it continued towards Hanley.

Once off the bus we headed along the A34 and we went up the hill towards Grandma's. At Grandma's Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. When it was time to go we went to the pub and we headed down Victoria Street. We turned left onto the A34. We continued southwards into Trent Vale. We continued through Trent Vale and we stopped at the pub. We walked into the pub and we sat down at our one our normal tables. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 67175 on a #101 to Stafford. Once we had finished eating we set off We carried on along the A34 through Hanford and into Trentham where we saw ABC Supreme YA67 VBD heading Northwards. We turned left onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line and into Blurton. We got back around 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. Matthew also had a can of Cherry Coke and a couple of slices of brioche bread. We wrote the Blog and sent a couple of e-mails. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group YP70 JYJ outside. Later on we went downstairs and we set off on foot onto City Road and we saw Cabability WF13 YTY.

We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland Street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we ran under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. After stopping briefly outside the railway station we turned right onto College Road and we ran up the hill through Shelton. We saw Premier Travel minibus BX11 AZV parked in a back street near to Cauldon Road. We continued onto Cleveland Road and we turned left onto Hinde Street. We crossed over the ring road and we turned right onto Broad Street. We turned right onto Marsh Street and then we turned right into Pall Mall. We ran forwards onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. A short time later the bus arrived on stand. We saw it was First Potteries 63113 on a #3A to Talke Pits.

We got on the bus bus and we booked to Tunstall before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we went straight across onto Marsh Street. We turned right up onto trinity Street and then left onto Stafford Street. After picking up more passenger outside of Debenhams. We followed the road around to the left and then back onto marsh Street. At the roundabout we went straight on onto Waterloo Road and we ran up the hill into Cobridge. We continued into Buslem and through the traffic lights onto Scotia Road. We went past the old Burslem PMT garage and we followed the road around to the left onto Williamson Street. At the corner we turned right onto Tunstall High Street and we got up and got off the bus. We continued down to Asda and we did some shopping. After we had done the shopping we set off foot onto Woodland Street and we turned left onto Jasper Square. We visited Poundland and Matthew brought egg sandwiches and a bottle of orange Fanta. Once we had finished in Tesco we cut through onto Butterfield Place. In the park Matthew ate his sandwiches and had his bottle of orange Fanta. Once we had finished in the park we walked along High Street and we returned to the stop to wait for the next bus back. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63365 on a #3 to Hanley.

We turned right into Scotia Road and we ran into Burslem town centre. We ran past the site of the new Kiln Gate Retail park and we continued into Cobridge and down into Hanley. We joined Hope Street and we ran forwards to Stafford Street. We ran past the taxi ranks and we continued past the Albion and the town Hall and we ran forwards onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus and Matthew used the toilet. In the bus station we saw First Potteries 63176 on a #3A to Clough Hall. We waited for a bus to Bentilee. As it got closer First Potteries 67146 on a #11 to Newcastle.

A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 44514 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 63347 parked in the garage. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. We turned left onto Market Street and right onto Commerce Street past the former Co-op Bank. We went arounf the roundabout and turned right onto The Strand where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went down The Strand and We walked up to the bus stop and we waited for a bus towards Fenton. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63361 on a #6 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down The Strand and we ran under the railway line onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We turned right into Victoria Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked back to the residential unit. We set off along City Road and we turned left onto Glebedale Road and we walked along Baker Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street. We returned onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. When Matthew got back we went upstairs and went up to his room to chill out and use the computer. Matthew also watched buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Hanley. At the Afford garage we saw Afford rent-a-car MJ22 HGP parked up.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road where we saw blue minibus V604 MBL. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we went upstairs. When it was time to go the bus set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We turned left at the roundabout onto the A34. we ran South as far as the hospital where we turned left. As we travelled through the hospital. We came out of the hospital and turned left onto Hilton Road. We ran into Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran down the hill into Stoke town centre and along Church Street. After a brief stop we continued along the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We passed the railway station and we turned right onto Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. We ran up the hill through Shelton and we followed the road to the right onto Cleveland Road and we turned left onto Hinde Street. We crossed over the ring road and we turned right onto Broad Street. We turned right onto Marsh Street and then we turned right into Pall Mall. We ran forwards onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. Once off the bus we set off up Lichfield Street. We turned righ onto Old Hall Street anbd we went into B&M. Matthew did some shopping and we crossed over the road onto Old Hall Street past the site of the old bus station which has now been almost completely demolished. We turned the corner onto and we walked up McDonalds and we had dinner. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Once We walked along Parliament Row and we walked onto Old Hall Street. We walked up Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 65029 on a #6 to Coalville.

We got on the bus we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot on the road at the back of Victoria Road. We turned left onto Manor Street and we turned left onto City Road. We crossed over onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. He also ate the a bottle of Coke and a toffee Crisp. Later on Matthew had a bath and had toast for supper.
