Trip to Salt Hill / Clayton 18-06-2018

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going to Salt Hill. Families got the chance to try out high ropes, rock climbing, bowling and more at the Salt Hill Activity Centre, which opened its doors to the public on today. The £5.5m site features a range of activities including a tramlining zone, a high wire climbing area with tight ropes and suspended mid-air tubes, indoor caving, a large soft play area and six 10-pin bowling lanes. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw A few minutes later we saw D&G Bus 44 on a #1 to Park Site.

Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

Transport for the trip was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got on the bus and we set off onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill onto the A52. We went under the railway line and we turned left onto the Southbound A500. We ran down to Hanchurch abd we got onto the Southbound M6. We travelled around Bimingham to junction 4 and we joined the Southbound M42. At junction 3A we joined the Southbound M40. We ran near to Banbury and Oxford and at junction 4 we went Southwards down the A404. We joined the Eastbound M4 for a short fun and we came off at junction 7. We went North up link road and at the rounadabout we turned right onto the Eastbound A4. We stopped at Salt Hill and Matthew went to the toilet. For dinner Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a glass of Coke. When we had finished we returned to Fenton in Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off along Bath Road and we turned left at the roundabout onto the M4 link road. We travelled westards along the M4 for a short while and we came off at junction on the the A404. We ran Northwards and we joined the Westnound M40. We ran near to Oxford and banbury up to the West Midlands and we joined the Northbound M42. We came off the M42 onto the M6 and we ran around Birmingham and up into Staffordshire. We came off the M6 at junction 15 and we ran Northwards up the A500 to Stoke. We turned right onto the A52 and we ran under the railway line. We continued up City Road into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room chill and wait for us to arrive and take him out for tea. Whilst he waited we saw Lucky Seven DV08 KKY going towards Stoke.

In the distance Matthew saw a crane helping on the construction of new sheltered housing.

Mum and I turned up and after a quick stop we went out to tea into Clayton. We set off onto Temple Street amd we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill to the A52. We went under the railway line and we turned left onto the Southbound A500. We ran past Sideway to Hanford. We joined the Northbound A34 and we ran under the A500 into Trent Vale. After we passed Tesco we turned left onto Clayton Lane. We veered left to continue up Clayton Lane and we turned right onot the Northbound A519. SAt the next junctio anfter the petrol station we turned left onto Seabridge Lane. We ran into the station for nearly a mile and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and than we found a seat in the lounge before ordering the food. matthew had a chicken and beef burger with chips washed down with a glass of Coke. For afters Matthew had a chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. After we had finished eating we got back into the car and we returned to Fenton in the car. We set off along Seabridge Lane and we turned left onto the Northbound A519. We ran into Newcastle and we went around the roundabout onto Barracks Road and past the bus station. We crossed the Jubilee Roundabout onto the A53 and we ran through Basford to Etruria. We got onto the Southbound A500 at Stoke. We turned left onto City Road and we went under the raileay line and up into Fenton. We continued up City Road before turning right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went up to Matthew's room and we wrote some of the Blog. Matthew also drank a can of Irn Bru. After doing a couple of entries I left and Matthew chilled out in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew watched England in the World cup and they had a party in the living room. Later on Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
