Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. We had planned to come two weeks ago, but due to the flooding we decided to go to Newcastle instead. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Temple Street Church minibus RX18 GZW.

Once Matthew had finished his breakfast he chilled out in his room until it was time to go to the day centre. We saw First Potteries 67158 on a #23 to Hanley.

Later on we went downstairs to go out. We got into a car and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and at the end we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill into Stoke and we went under the railway line. We crossed over the A500 and we ran around the one-way system. We turned left onto London Road and we parked up at Sainsbury's. Across the road we saw City Cabs FT61 UEP at the depot. London Road. In the West We continued through Oak Hill and into London Road. We ran down to Trent vale and we joined the Southbound A34. Southbound A500 and we ran down to the motorway. We got onto the Southbound M6 and we ran Southwards through the West Midlands and to the Southern end of the M6. We joined the Southbound M1 and we ran through Northamptonshire to junction #6A. We joined the Eastbound M25. We ran clockwise around North London and we came off the M25 at junction 28. We continued Eastwards along the A12 and into Chelmsford along the A1114. We ran into town and we parked up near to the railway station. We went to Sindy's Sandwich Bar and Matthew had a sausage sandwich washed down with a can of coke. Once we had the food we walked under the railway and into the bus station and we considered what we could catch. As we though about our next bus we saw dud Tower Transit. This bus on loan to First Essex 36148 was operating a X10 to the Basildon. We got on the bus and we booked a First Essex Day ticket before we went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station onto Duke Street. We turned left onto Coval Lane ran to the end and we turned left onto the A1060 and we continued Northwards up the A1114 through Great Baddow. We crossed the A130 and we ran into Howe Green. We ran to near to Rettendon and into Battlesbridge. We ran Southwards to Wickford we got onto the A1245. As we ran the miles to the A132 we saw First Essex 36143 on a X10 to Stansted Airport. We joined the A132 and we ran through Runwell. We turned left Runwell Road. We ran forwards onto The Broadway and We ran forwards onto High Street. We ran up the hill and into Wickford. We turned left onto the A129. We turned right onto the A132. We ran under the A127 into Basildon. We turned right onto the A1321 and left onto Southernhay and we entered the bus station from the Southern end. We got up and got off the bus and we saw First Essex 36156 on a #28 to Southend. We had a walk around the bus station and Matthew used the toilet. We didn't have the time and as we had phone. A few minutes later we saw First Essex 69907 on a #100 to Lakeside. We got on the bus and we booked a First Essex Day ticket the the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. Whilst we waited for departure we saw First Essex 36153 on a X10 to Stansted Airport. We set off out of the bus station onto Southernhay. We ran forwards onto Roundacre and we turned left onto the A176 before turning right into the Basildon Hospital. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A176 and we ran into Fobbing Five Bells. We turned right onto Southend Road and Corringham we crossed over the onto Southend Road. We ran up the hill and into Corringham and we continued Lampits Hill. We turned right onto Giffords Cross Road and we turned right onto Springhouse Road. We turned left onto Gordon Road and we turned left onto The Sorrells. We turned left onto the A1014. At the roundabout we turned right and we ran down the Corringham Road through Stanford le Hope we continued onto The Green and forwards onto Church Hill and we went under the railway line before turning onto London Road. We went past the railway station. We turned left onto the A1013. We travelled through Orsett. At the roundabout we turned right and we ran down the Orsett Cock. We turned right onto the A1013. We ran to the bottom and we turned left onto Heath Road and we ran up to Jamacara. After a short wait the bus returned onto Heath Road. We turned left onto the A1013 and we ran up to Socketts Heath. We continues into Grays We turned left onto Southend Road. We turned right onto Palmer Ave and onto the Orsett Road. We turned left onto Stanley Road. We turned left at the roundabout onto Crown Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We walked onto the bus station and we saw Ensignbus 140 on a #88 to Stifford Clays. Matthew wanted to do this but we didn't have the right bus tickets. Once off the bus we crossed the road and Matthew visited The Crown pub. Matthew used the toilet. Afterwards we went to the bar and Matthew had a small Coke. Once we had the drink Matthew sat himself down at a table and introduced himself to a few more of the locals. After he finished his drink Matthew said goodbye to his new friends and we met up with uncle Dave. We crossed over the road and we waited for the next bus to Basildon. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was required First Essex 69917 on a #100 to Chelmsford. We got on the bus and we booked a First Essex Day ticket the the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. Whilst we waited for departure we saw Ensignbus 115 on a #77 to Tilbury. We set off out of the bus station onto Crown Road. We turned left onto Stanley Road. We turned right onto Orsett Road and onto the Palmer Ave. We ran up to Socketts Heath. We turned left onto Southend Road. We turned right onto the A1013 onto the A1013. We ran to the bottom and we turned left onto Heath Road and we ran up to Jamacara. After a short wait the bus returned onto Heath Road. We turned right onto the A1013. We travelled through Orsett. At the roundabout we turned left and we ran down the Orsett Cock. We turned left onto the A1013. After climbing up the hill into Stanford le Hope we turned right into London Road and we ran forwards onto the one-way system onto Church Hill and we ran forwards onto Corringham Road. We ran down to Corringham. We turned left onto the A1014. We turned right onto The Sorrells and we turned right onto Gordon Road. We turned right onto Springhouse Road. We turned left onto Giffords Cross Road and we turned left onto Lampits Hill and we continued Southend Road. We ran up the hill and into Fobbing Garage and and we ran into Fobbing Five Bells. We turned left onto the A176 before turning left into the Basildon Hospital. Once through the hospital we turned left onto the A176 we crossed over the railway line into Basildon. We turned right onto Ashdon Way and we turned left onto Station Way. We turned right onto Southernhay and we entered the bus station. We got up and got off. We waited for the next bus #25 to Southend. Whilst we waited for her to turn up we took a few pictures of buses. First Essex 36141 was seen parked up in the layover. After a short while we saw First Essex 33548 on a #70 to Southend. We got on the bus and we flashed a First Essex Day ticket before we went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station onto Southernhay. We carried on forwards onto Great Oaks. We turned right onto Linkway and right onto the A1321. We turned left onto Ghyllgrove and right onto Whitmore Way and we saw First Essex 36161 on a #25 Basildon. We turned left onto the A132. We ran up the hill and into Wickford. We turned left onto Nevendon Road. We ran forwards onto High Street and We ran forwards onto The Broadway. We ran forwards onto Runwell Road. At the roundabout we turned right and we ran down the A132. We turned left onto the A129 under the A130 and into Rawreth. We continued into Rayleigh and we turned right Little Wheatley Chase and forwards onto Bardfield Way. We turned left onto Hatfield Road. We turned right onto the A129. We turned left onto High Street. We turned right onto Websters Way and we turned left onto the A1015. We ran through Eastwood. We continued along the A1015 and we continued straight up into Leigh-on-Sea and we turned left onto the A127. We ran down into Prittlewell. We turned right onto the A1158 and we turned right onto Southbourne Grove. We turned left onto Prittlewell Chase and we turned left onto Fairfax Drive where we saw First Essex 44080 on a #21 to Canvey. We turned right onto the A127. We ran through Southend-on-Sea. We turned left onto the A13 and we entered Southend-on-Sea Victoria Station Interchange where we got up and got off the bus. We had a walk around the interchange and we saw Arriva Kent Thameside 4245 on a #9 to Rayleigh. We visited Costa Coffee. Matthew had a piece of millionaire's shortbread and a cup of Coke. we walked up interchange. We continued to the victoria shopping centre. Once we had finished shopping we walk back through Chichester Road and to the travel centre. We waited for a bus back to Basildon. We visited Tesco Express. Matthew brought a small can of Coke and a few chocolate bars. When we had finished we went out to the bus stop to wait for a bus back Eastwards. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Essex 47654 on a #25 to Basildon. We got on the bus and we booked a First Essex Day ticket the the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus The bus set off along Chichester Road. We turned left into the A13 and we entered Southend-on-Sea Victoria Station Interchange. After a brief stop we ran out onto A13. We turned right onto the A127. We ran down into Prittlewell. We turned left onto Fairfax Drive and we turned right onto Prittlewell Chase and we continued straight up into Leigh-on-Sea and we turned right onto the A1158 and we continued straight up into Eastwood and we turned left onto the A127. We turned right onto the A1015. We ran through Eastwood. We continued into Rayleigh. We turned right onto the A129. We turned left onto Crown Hill. We turned left onto Hatfield Road and we turned right onto Bardfield Way and forwards onto Little Wheatley Chase. We turned left onto the A129 onto Rawreth and we ran back through Shotgate and into Wickford. We turned left onto the A132. We turned left onto High Street. We ran forwards onto Nevendon Road. We turned right onto the A132. We ran under the A127 into Basildon. We turned right onto Whitmore Way and left onto Ghyllgrove. We ran forwards onto Southernhay right onto Southernhay and we entered the bus station. We got up and got off and we waited for a bus back to Chelmsford. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was First Essex 36153 on a X10 to Stansted Airport. We got on and we flashed First Essex Day ticket to the driver for the final time today before going upstairs and sitting down towards the back of the bus. We turned left onto Hockley Road and we turned right onto Chittock Gate. We turned left onto the B1419 and we turned right onto the A1321. We turned left onto the A132. We ran up the hill and into Wickford. We turned left onto Nevendon Road. We ran forwards onto High Street and We ran forwards onto The Broadway. We ran forwards onto Runwell Road and we ran through Runwell. We turned right onto the A132. We turned left onto the A130. We crossed Church Street and we ran into Great Baddow. We continued onto High Street. We ran through Tabors Hill and we turned left onto Baddow Road. We ran down to Chelmsford. We joined the A1060. We turned right onto the A1099 and we turned left onto Duke Street and we entered the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus station at the stand outside and we waited for a bus. Whilst there we saw First Essex 36143 on a X10 to Basildon. We walked onto Duke Street and Matthew visited the toilet. We walked along A1060 and we met up with mum. We got in the car and Matthew had a bottle of Irn Bru. We ran out of town along the A1060 and we went forwards onto the A1114. We joined the Southbound A12 and we ran down to the M25 at junction 28. We joined the M25 at junction 28 and we ran anti-clockwise around to the M1. We ran northwards up the M1 through Northamptonshire and at junction Junction 19 we took the Westbound M6. We continued Northwards through the West Midlands and up through Staffordshire. We ran North to junction 15 where we cam off onto the A500. We travelled North up to Sideway and then we joined the Eastbound A50. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross and we turned left onto Blurton Road. We went through the traffic lights onto Heron Steeet. We carried on forwards onto Station Bridge Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Masterson Street and we turned right onto Watkin Street. We continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to use his computer and chill out in his room. For a late tea we had chicken burger from kfc. He also had some fries and a cup of Coke followed by millionaire's shortbread squares. We spent time doing the e-mails and doing the Blog. He chilled out until bedtime around 00:30... Mark.
