Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. we decided to re-visit Crewe. It has been a while since our last visit. There wre now new bus station. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Temple Street Church RX18 GZW.

When it was time to go out we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw First Potteries 67156 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we flashed the First Day ticket to the driver before we sat down near to the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked along Church Street to Stoke Cafe. Matthew went to the toilet and I ordered the food. For dinner Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. Once we had finished eating we set off onto Church Street. I asked Matthew if he wanted to do a #25 up to Hanley and he agreed. We crossed over the road and we waited at the Hanley bound stop. Opposite we saw First Potteries 65028 on a #11 to Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 65029 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we flashed the Network Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Church Street over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we saw First Potteries 43876 on a #5 to Abbey Hulton. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. We walked down to the stand for the Crewe bus and we waited for the next one. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 65026 on a #3 to Crewe. We got on the bus and we flashed the First Day ticket to the driver before we sat down near to the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we went straight across onto Marsh Street. We turned right up onto Trinity Street and we went past the former RBS now a new shop. We turned left onto Stafford Street. After picking up more passenger outside of Debenhams we followed the road around to the left and then back onto marsh Street. At the roundabout we went straight on onto Waterloo Road and we ran up the hill into Cobridge. We continued into Burslem and through the traffic lights onto Scotia Road. We went past the old Burslem PMT garage and we followed the road around to the left onto Williamson Street. At the corner we turned right onto Tunstall High Street We saw First Potteries 69172 on a #3 to Hanley. and we continued North onto the A50. We ran through Goldenhill and down the bank into Kidsgrove. We ran under the railway line and we passed the site of the new Lidl being built. into Cheshire and we crossed over the A34. We continued into Church Lawton and then into Alsager. We continued Westwards along the B5077 under the M6 and into Radway Green. We followed the road to the right up Slaughter hill and we continued straight up into Haslington. We turned left onto Crewe Road and we re-joined the B5077 towards Crewe Green. We crossed over the roundabout onto the Westbound A534 and we ran towards Crewe railway station. We past the railway station where we saw an unidentified Majestic coach. We continued for around 1/2 mile before turning right into Edlestone Road. We ran into town crossing over the railway line and forwards onto Chester Bridge. We followed the road around onto Delamere Street and we turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw Arriva NW&W 2492 on a #31 to Northwich. We decided to have a quick walk around town for a break from buses. We set off around the corner onto Charles Street and right onto Victoria Street past the former Wetherspoons pub which closed down as part of the new bus station development that will be starting soon. We turned right on to Market Street and left onto Earle Street. We walked past the market which is under renovation, and we stopped at the pub on the end of the road. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we had a glass of Coke. Whilst we gad our drink we asked Matthew hwere he wanted to go next. He wanted to go to Nantwich so we looked at the time of the next bus. there was a departure in just less than 20 minutes so we finished our drinks and walked back to the bus station. We set off down Prince Albert Street and we turned right onto Crewe Street. We followed the street to the left onto and we turned right onto Moss Square. We re-joined Prince Albert Street and we turned left onto Chester Street and we turned right onto Market Street. We turned left onto Delamere Street and we entered the bus station from the Southern End. We walked into the main station and we saw Arriva NW&W 2951 on the #84 to Chester. We got on the bus and we booked an Arriva Day Saver ticket at £5.30 and then we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and we went along Delamere Street and around the corner onto Chester Bridge. We went forwards onto Edleston Road and we passed required Arriva NW&W 894 on the #6 service. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A534 and we headed West. After traveling a couple of miles we turned left onto Wistaston Road and just before he level crossing we turned right onto Coppice Road. At the end of the road we re-joined the westbound A534 and we crossed over A51 at the Peacock Roundabout. Just before town we turned right onto Millstone Lane passing Arriva NW&W 4405 on a #84 to Crewe. By the tractor shop, we turned left onto Beam Street. We passed Marks & Spencer's and the library and we entered the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We saw GHA Solo SR 1201 on the #52 to Sainsbury's, and then we headed into town. We walked down Market Street and into the market and we went to the toilet. After we used the toilet we stopped at the stall where Matthew usually has a few sweets from, but it was now a workwear and safety equipment stall. We asked if there was a sweet still in the market and it turned out it had moved next door! Talk about having tunnel vision! We brought a few spearmint chews and then we walked back to the bus station. We waited for a bus towards Tarporley. A short time later we saw Arriva NW&W 4402 on a #84 to Chester. We got on the bus and we flashed an Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver we went upstairs and we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down bus station. We carried on through the town centre and as we turned towards the river we passed required Arriva NW&W 3161 on a #84 to Crewe. We carried out of the town under the canal and past the Marina. We joined the A51 and we carried on through the sticks. We went past Snugbury's. We carried on through the village of Wardle and then we crossed over the Crewe to Chester railway line. We carried on through Calveley and Alpraham. At a crossroad we carried on to the A49 Tarporley by-pass before turning right to go through the village. so we went to the Spar shop attached to the local petrol station. Matthew brought 4 small bottles of pop for £1, a Milky Way and a Galaxy Caramel as well as a can of Coke for later. Everything came to a grand total of £2.70 which seem very good value for a convenience store. We walked to the bus stop and Matthew had one of the small bottles of pop and decided to have a Rice Crispies Squares from the trip bag for a snack. The bus went up and down the High Street a couple of times before eventually reversing into the community centre car park. The time for the return bus came and went... It turned up around 10 minutes late. It was Arriva NW&W 4404 on a #84 to Crewe. We got on the bus and we flashed the day Saver tickets before we went upstairs we sat down towards the back of the bus and we set off down the High Street onto the Eastbound A49. We carried on the forwards onto the A51 and we went through Alpraham, Caveley and Wardle and past Snugburys we passed Arriva NW&W 3161 on a #84 to Chester. We left We went forwards onto the B5341 through Acton and under the canal into Nantwich. We crossed the river Weaver. We went forwards onto Beam Street and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus towards Chester. A short time later we saw Arriva NW&W 2951 on a #84 to Crewe. A short time later we saw Arriva NW&W 4405 on a #84 to Chester. We got on and we brought Arriva Day Saver tickets at £5.50 each before we went upstairs we sat down. The bus set off out of the bus station onto Beam Street We crossed the river Weaver and we went forwards onto Welsh Row. We carried on under the Shropdhire Union canal and through Acton. We joined the A51 and we passed Snugbury's Ice Cream. We crossed over a branch of the canal. We carried on along the A51 through Wardle, Caveley and Alpraham. We joined the A49 and then we diverted right onto High Street into the village. We joined the A49 and we then we went through Tarporley where we saw Arriva NW&W 4402 on a #84 to Crewe. we left Tarporley and we got back onto the A51. We ran around another 5 miles along the A51 before turning off to go into Tarvin village. We went up Tarporley Road and we turned into High Street and we re-joined the A54. A few hundred yards down the road the at the next roundabout we joined the Westbound A51 and we ran through Littleton and over the A55 and A41 into Vicars Cross. We crossed the Shropshire Union Canal and we went around the one way system onto Christleton Road. We continued West along the A51 into Broughton and we could see the mist over the River Dee to the left of us. We went around the Square roundabout and we turned sharp right onto City Road and up towards the railway station. When we got off the bus we had around 35 minutes to get 1/4 of a mile across town to Foregate Street so that we could catch the #1 to Wrexham. On the way down we saw required Arriva NW&W 4641 on a #1 to Wrexham. we booked an Arriva Day Saver ticket before we went upstairs we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off along Station Road and we ran forwards onto Brook Street. We turned left onto the A56 and we turned left onto St Oswalds Way. We crossed over the A5268. We went through the lights onto Vicar's Lane and we ran forwards onto Pepper Street. We continued onto Grosvenor Street. We ran up to the A483 and we ran forwards into Marleston-cum-Lache. We turned left onto Heronsway. We travelled through the industrial estate. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A483 past old Park and Ride site which is going to be a new play areas, outdoor gyms, public toilets and libraries. We ran up the hill through Pulford and we turned left Wrexham Road and we travelled through Belgrave. We ran up the hill and into Cuckoo's Nest. We ran down Chester Road. We travelled through Pulford and over Lavister roundabouts to Rossett. we crossed over Marford. We ran forwards onto Marford Hill. We ran down Chester Road past Marford Play Area. We ran up into Gresford and we crossed the Gresford Interchange onto the A5152. We ran into Garden Village and we turned into Rhos-ddu. We crossed the A5152 and into Wrexham. We crossed the roundabout onto Rhosddu Road and we entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked along King Street. We went into the bus station. On one of the layover bays we saw Arriva NW&W 2145 on a #35 to Borras. We headed down the bus station and Matthew decided to go to Mold. Whilst we waited we saw Arriva NW&W 2149 on a #26 to Mold. We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station. We turned left onto King Street and left onto Lord Street. We turned right onto Trinity Street and we turned right onto Regent Street. At the main junction we turned left onto the Southbound A5152 and we crossed over the railway line at Wrexham Central. We turned right into Watery Road and we turned right into Rhyd Broughton Lane. We ran forwards onto Berse Road and we turned left onto Mold Road. We crossed the Mold Interchange onto the A541 and we turned left onto Old Mold Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A541. At the next roundabout we went North up and through Gwersyllt. We carried on through Cefn-y-bedd and we turned right onto the A550 and we ran over the railway line into Caergwrle. We ran through Bridge End and we ran into Caergwrle. We cross over onto Castle Street and we turned right onto the A541. We ran into Pontblyddyn and we turned left onto the A5104. We ran up the hill into Leeswood and we turned right onto Pontybodkin Hill. We turned left onto Queen Street and we continued onto Oak Park. We travelled through Stryt-cae-rhedyn. We ran forwards onto Windover Corner and. We cross over onto Leeswood Hall and we ran over Leeswood Turning. We turned left onto Wrexham Road and ran up the hill into the town centre and we turned right into A5119. We turned into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once we were in Mold. we got in the car. Matthew had a sausage roll and a can or orange Fanta. We set off along A5119 and we ran into New Brighton. We got onto the A494 and we ran into Alltami and we continued to Aston, Deeside and Queensferry. We continued to Garden City. We got onto the Eastbound M56. At junction 9 we joined the Southbound M6. We went Southwards down the A500 to Etruria and we cam off the A500. We turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road, We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his roon to watch TV and chill out. Matthew went up to his room to use his computer and watch buses. For tea Matthew had a chicken burger from kfc. He also had some fries and a cup of Coke followed by a jam filled sponge. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00...
