Today Matthew was going to Blurton and he was also going to the pub. He wasn't going to visit grandma today as she was away on holiday in Somerset! Matthew got woke up around 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. In the morning Matthew went to Apedale in a car. We went down stairs and got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill and ran forwards onto the A52. We went under the railway line and we joined the Northbound A500. We saw Edwards BV17 GUU as we travelled Northwards. We came off the A500 onto Shelton New Road and we headed towards the roundabout and into Newcastle. We ran down George Street and we saw Stantons of Stoke 2321 RF outside the swimming baths. We continued onto Ryecroft and we ran forwards onto Knutton Lane. We continued through Knotton on the B5367 and we parked up at the Apedale Top Car park. We walked through the park to the heritage centre. Matthew went into the cafe and used the toilet. Afterwards he had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Dr Pepper. When we had finished Matthew had a Flake ice cream. We set off out off the hertiage centre and we waked back to the car on the top car park. We got back into the car and we headed towards Newcastle. We set off along the B5367 and back through Knutton. We went past a building site where they were constructing a new building. We got onto the B5044 and we turned right onto the A525. We turned right onto the A34 and right onto the A519. We parked up near to Morrisons and we walked through the sunken roundabout onto the High Street we visited Cash Converters and the job centre and afterwards we turned left onto Hassell Street and back to the car park. We got in the car and we set off back to Fenton. We left the car park onto the A519 and we crossed over the A34 onto the A527. We crossed over the Jubilee roundabout onto the A53 and we foloowed the one way system onto the A52. We turned left onto Shelton New Road and we joined the Southbound A500. We went past the Travel Express depot and we came off the A500 in Stoke. We headed under the railway line and up Wheildon Road into Fenton. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew chilled out in his room until it was time for me to pick him up. Just before 15:00 I went upstairs and stayed with Matthew in his room for a few minutes until he was ready to leave. We went down stairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street and we walked to the bus stop on the square to wait for the bus. It was running late due to the roadworks and diversion down Stoke Road. A short time later we saw the bus appear. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Blurton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Christchurch Street we turned right onto Station Bridge Road. We went forwards onto Heron Street and we went through Heron Cross and over the A50 onto Blurton Road. We ran down the hill and we went past the BP garage. We ran up the hill and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beacosfield Drive and we passed Travel Express HF64 AJU coming the other way. At the other end of Beaconsfield Drive we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67157 as it continued towards Newstead.

We walked to the house and Matthew had some toast and a can of Irn Bru. We chilled out and Matthew listened to music and used his computer until it wqs time to out to the pub. We set off just after 17:30 and we went to pick up uncle Dave. We got in the car and we set off through Blurton and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road past the former Coral shop which is new going to be flats. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down towards Stoke and onto the A500. We turned left onto Church Street and and we went around the one-way system. We turned left onto London Road and we headed into the West End, and we ran past the former Oak Tree pub which has now been demolished. We ran to the end of London Road and we sat at the light waiting to turn right onto the A34. We continued up to the pub and we parked up. We saw ABC Supreme YB73 VZT. We walked into the pub and Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included City Centre Central SB66 RUJ going Northwards. Once we had finished eating we set off. We carried on along the A34 Through Trent Vale into Hanford. We continued into Trentham and at the roundabout we turned left onto the A5035 and we came back to Blurton. In them afternoon we chilled out writing the Blog. Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. Later on we took uncle Dave home. We got in the car and we set off through Burton and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Street and left onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We turned left onto Grove Road and continued onto Wheildon Road. After dropping off uncle Dave we ran back up Wheildon Road and forwards onto Grove Road. At Heron Cross we turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed the A50. We ran through Blurton and at the roundabout we veered right onto Church Street and we saw silver minibus SF21 FRK parked up. We turned right onto the A5035 and back to Blurton. Later on we did some more of the Blog. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
