Today was the first full day of a short break in Lincolnshire. Last night we asked Matthew where he wanted to start of the day and chose Hull. Research consisted of looking at bus tickets, looking to see where and when Hull City were playing and checking the weather. The weather was forcast for dray with some sunshine, mild for the time of year. I woke Matthew up at 08:00 to give him his medication and Matthew got out of bed just after 09:00. Matthew had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We did some of the Blog and we got ready to go out. We set off around 10:00 out of the campsite and we ran forwards onto Kings Road. We ran into Cleethorpes and we turned left onto the A180. We went left onto the A46 following a diversion and we turned right onto Brereton Avenuw. We tyrned right onto Reynolds Street and we re-joined the A180. We ran through Grimsby and we continued out of town for about 10 miles. We joined the Northbound A15 and we ran over the Humber Bridge. Once on the North bank we turned right onto the A1105. We ran Eastwards towards Hull and we turned left onto Pickering R0ad. We turned right onto Analby Road and left onto Calvert Lane. We had planned on stopping here to visit a cafe, but it was busy because Hull City were at home so we carried on driving. We went under a railway bridge and we turned right onto Spring Bank West. We turned left onto Chanterland Avenue and left onto Perth Street West. We turned right onto National Avenue and we headed Northwards. We spotted a Sizzling pub so we decided to stop there for dinner. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we sat down at the table. Mum oreder the food and drink and Matthew had a bacon cheeseburger with an extra chicken burger with fries, was down with a glass of Coke. We gave Matthew a choice of having a dessert now or having one later and he chose to have one later. We went outside and we got the trip bag from the car. We said goodbye to mum and we set off on foot to a nearby bus stop. We turned right onto national Avenue and we crossed over County Road North. We crossed over Bricknell Avenue and we walked to the nearby bus stop. We waited for a bus towards Hull. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 11694 on a #3 to Hull Interchange.

We got on the bus and we booked singles to Hull at £3 each before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off down Bricknell Avenue and we headed Southwards. We turned right onto Chanterlands Avenue and we turned left onto Spring Bank West. We continued onto Spring Bank and we turned right onto the A1079. We turned left onto Prospect Street and left onto Albert Street. We turned right onto Bond Street and we ran forwards onto Vernon Street. We turned left onto Carr Lane and we ran forwards onto Anlaby Road. We turned right onto the A1079 and we turned left into the Interchange. We let the bus empty and Matthew took a picture inside of Stagecoach East Midlands 11694.

Once off the bus we headed up to the layover area. We saw Stagecoach East Midlands 24194 parked up there.

We walked back into the interchange and we looked for something we could catch out. We saw a bus come onto stand 22. As it came closer we saw it was East Yorkshire 928 on a X46 to York.

We got on the bus and we bought a Go anywhere ticket at £17.20 before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the interchange and we turned left onto the Northbound A1079. We continued through Stepney and Newland and we headed out of the city. We continued along the A1079 and on the edge of Beverley we turned right onto new link road. We turned left onto the A164 and we ran into town along Victoria Road. We turned left onto Queensgate and we ran forwards onto Admiral Walker Road. We turned left onto Lairgate and we turned right onto Hengate. We turned right onto New Walkergate and we turned right onto Sow Hill Road. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of East Yorkshire 928 before it continued towards York.

Once off the bus we decided to go for a drink. We spotted a few bars on the way into the bus station. We crossed over New Walkergate and we walked to the bar on the corner. Before we went into the bar we saw East Yorkshire 752 on a #41 to Hull.

Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we had drinks. Matthew had a slice of chocolate vanila and jaffa cake washed down with a glass of Coke. when we had finished we headed across the road to the bus station. A few minutes later we saw East Yorkshire 362.

This bus had an issue and was stopped out side of the bus station. We decide to catch something else and a few minutes later we saw another bus come into the bus station. As it got closer we saw it was East Yorkshire 921 on a X46 to York.

We got on the bus and we placed the Go anywhere day ticket under the scanner before we went upstairs and down towards. We set off out of the bus station and we turned left onto New Walkergate. We ran forwards onto Manor Street and we turned right onto Wyles Road. We crossed over North Bar Without and we ran forwards onto York Road. We ran past Beverley Race Course and on the edge of town we ran forwards onto the A1079. We continued through Bishop Burton and we ran for a few miles to the edge of Market Weighton. We turned right onto Sanction Road and we ran forwards onto Southgate. We veered left onto High Street and we ran forwards onto market Place where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of East Yorkshire 921 as it continued towards York.

We crossed over Market Place and we headed into a shop. We bought a flapjack, some chocolate and bottle of Coke. After paying for the stuff we went outside to the bus station. As we had a few minutes to wait for the bus back Southwards, Matthew had a chocolate bar whilst we waited. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was East Yorkshire 925 on a X46 to Hull.

We got on the bus and we placed the Go anywhere day ticket under the scanner before we went upstairs and down towards. We set off along Market Place and we continued onto High Street. We veered right onto Southgate and e ran out of town. We continued onto sanction Road and we turned left onto the A1079 and we passed a site of a new housing estate. We ran through Bishop Burton and we continued past Beverley Race course. We continued onto York Road and we ran into Beverley. We crossed over North Bar Without and we ran onto Wyles Road. We turned right onto Manor Road and we ran forwards onto New Walkergate. We turned right onto Sow Hill Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a look around to see what we could catch. We saw East Yorkshire 507 on a #525 to Swinemoor Estate.

We decided to head back towards Hull so we could arrange to meet up with mum somewhere nearby. Whilst we waited we saw Acklams double decker YX24 OXJ on a KC1 service. We waited a few minutes for the next slow service to Hull. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was East Yorkshire 379 on a #43 to Hull Interchange.

We got on the bus and we placed the Go anywhere day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto New Walkergate and we headed Southwards. We ran forwards onto Railway Street and we turned right onto Armstrong Way. We turned left onto Flemingate and we headed Eastwards out of town. We continued onto Beckside and forwards onto Hull Road. We joined the A1174 and we headed Southwards. We ran through Woodmansey and we continued Southwards. We reached the Beverley bypass and we ran forwards onto the A1079. We ran through Newland and Stepney and we reached the edge of Hull. We turned left onto Spencer Street and we continued onto Prospect Street. We turned left onto Albion Street and Bond Street. We ran forwards onto Vernon Street and forwards onto Queens Dock Avenue. We turned right onto Carr Lane and we ran forwards onto Anlaby Road. We turned right onto the A1079 and we turned left into the interchange where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we decided to catch a bus towards Hessle and met up with mum. As we approached the stand and we saw a bus already there. As we got closer we saw it was East Yorkshire 371 on a #58 to Hessle.

We got on the bus and we placed the Go anywhere day ticket under the scanner for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the interchange and and we turned left onto the Northbound A1079. We turned right onto Spencer Street and we continued onto Prospect Street. We turned left onto Albion Street and we turned right onto Bond Street. We continued onto Bond Street and we ran forwards onto Queens Dock Avenue. We turned right onto Carr Lane and we ran forwards onto Anlaby Road. We ran forwards onto the A1105 and we ran out of town. We passed the Southern side of the interchange and the MKM stadium. At Anlaby Park we turned left onto Anlaby Park Road South. We turned right onto Gower Road and we turned right onto Bethune Avenue. We turned left onto First Lane and we turned right onto Cottermore Road heading into Northfield. We continued onto Sunningdale Road and we turned left onto Beverley Road. We headed into Hessle along Northgate and we continued along Southgate. When we reached the Square the service terminated and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of East Yorkshire 371 before it returned to Hull on a #58.

Onc off the bus we headed into the nearest pub, Matthew went to the toilet afterwards Matthew sat down with uncle Dave and I went to the bar to get drinks. Matthew had a small glass of Coke. Whilst we were there the fire alarm went off. Nobody moved but the alarm was that lod we decided to take the drink to the seating outside. As we finished our drink the fire alarm was swithched off to great cheers,,, Hurrah! Mum had pulled up outside the pub in a nearby parking space. We jumped in the car and we set off back towards Cleethorpes. We headed Northwards up Soutgate and we followed the road onto Northgate. We continued onto Beverley Road and we turned left onto the roundabout onto the A1105. We turned left onto A15 and we headed over the Humber Bridge. We headed Southwards for about 10 miles and we joined the Eastbound A180. We ran fast along the A180 for about 10 miles and we reached the edge of Grimsby. We ran through Grimsby into Cleethorpes and we ran forwards onto the A1098. We ran through Cleethorpes and along the coast to North Sea Lane. We stopped at the chip shop as I thought this was the chip shop mum had ordred from. It turned out that it wasn't. As we parked up we got a call from the chip shop to say the order was ready. It turned out it was a chip shop at the other end of Cleethorpes. We carried on along North Sea Lane and continued onto Humberston Road. We continued onto Carr Lane and we ran forwards onto Park Street. We picked up the food and we carried on along Park Street. We turned right onto the A180 and we headed through the roadworks again into Cleethorpes. We turned right onto the A1098 and we ran along the coast again. We ran along the coast and we ran forwards into the caravan park. We checked in and drove to the caravan and parked up. We brought the stuff into the caravan and we settled down for the evening. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy followed by a cake from the Cake Box. We spent the evening doing the Blog and writing an e-mail. We chilled out in the caravan and we went to bed around 00:00... Mark.
