Today we decided to re-visit Widnes. It's the middle of winter and we needed to go somewhere it's easy to park and easy to get something to eat. No research was done other than to check the weather, which was for cold weather, starting off foggy with sunny intervals later on. We set off through Blurton and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive. At this point it was quite foggy. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road past the former Coral betting shop. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Northbound A500. The fog had almost cleared and we could see sunshine. We ran into Cheshire and up to the Motoway junction. The fog returned for a short while and we joined the Northbound M6.
