Today we decided to re-visit Leicester. We did very little research for this trip other than to check the available bus tickets and to check the weather. The weather was forecast for cold, dry and with some sunshine. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. We got up at 10:30 and Matthew had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After getting dressed we set off around 12:00 to pick up uncle Dave. We got in the car and we set off through Blurton and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road past the former Coral shop which is new going to be flats. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued back up Wheildon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and at the roundabout we joined the Eastbound A50. We ran through Longton and into Meir. We turned left onto the A520 and right onto Woodville Road. We turned left onto Westwood Road and right onto Stansmore Road. We ran to the end and we stopped outside a cafe. We went in and ordered food. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Dr Pepper. After we had finished eating Matthew used the toilet and we got back into the car. We set off along Stansmore Road and we turned right onto Brookwood Drive. We ran clockwise around the loop and we turned left onto Pipers View. We crossed over Meir Square and we ran forwrds onto Woodville Road. We turned left onto the A520 and we turned left onto the A50. We headed Eastwards and past Meir Park. We turned right to continued along the Blythe Bridge bypass and we went near to uttoxeter and we continued along the A50, passing an unidentified Country Lion coach. We ran to the end of the A50 and we joined the Southbound M1. As we travelled Southwards we passed 2 unidentified Skills coaches heading Northwards. We came off M1 at junction 22 and we ran Southwards down the A50. At the edge of Leicester we ran forwards onto Woodgate and we turned left onto Abbey Gate. We turned right onto Ravensbridge Drive and we turned right onto the Southbound A6. We turned left onto Burley Way and at the roundabout we turned right onto Belgrave Gate. We ran past the end of Haymarket bus station and we entered the car park. After parking up we took the lift down into the Haymarket Shopping centre. We came out of the wrong side of the shopping centre onto Belgrave Gate. We turned right onto Humberstone Gate and we headed back into the shopping centre. We turned right and we came out on Charles Street. As we entered the bus station we saw Centrebus 5003 arrive on a #22A service.

We went into the bus station and Matthew used the toilet. As it was getting quite late we decided to catch out quite quickly. We walked down the bus station looking for a bus we could catch. We decided to do a #58. As we got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 3119 on a #58 Hamilton circular service.

We got on the bus and we booked a Flexi day ticket at £6.30. The bus was empty so Matthew took a picture inside Arriva Midlands 3119 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

The bus set off out of the bus station and we turned sharp right onto Charles Street and we turned left onto Humberstone Gate. We ran forwards onto Humberstone Road and we headed North Eastwards up the A47. We turned left onto Forest Road and we ran forwards onto Hastngs Road. We turned right onto Tailby Avenue and we turned left onto Wycombe Road. We veered left onto Humberstone Drive and we turned right onto Greenland Drive. We turned left onto Tennis Court Drive and we turned right onto Main Street. We ran forwards onto Steins Lane and we crossed over Hungertob Boulevard and onto Netherall Road. We ran through Netherall and we turned left onto New Romney Crescent. We turned left onto Hamilton Lane and we headed Northwards. We turned left onto Keyham Lane West and we headed Westward. We ran forwards onto Keyham Lane and we continued onto Preston Rise. We crossed the roundabout and we went into Tesco where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got another picture of Arriva Midlands 3119 before into continued on the #58 to Leicester.

Once off the bus we decided to head int Tesco for supplies. We picked up some Bakewell Slices and a bottle of Coke. After paying for the goods we headed back to the bus stops. As we approached there was already a bus there. We got closer and we saw it was Arriva Midlands 2949 on a #58A to Leicester.

We got on the bus and we placed the Flexi Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of Tesco and we crossed the roundabout onto Preston Rise. We ran forwards onto Keyham Lane and we continued onto Keyham Lane West. We turned right omnto Hamilton ane and we turned right onto New Romney Crescent. We turned right onto Netherhall Road and we ran through Netherall. We ran past McDonalds and we crossed over the A563 onto Steins Lane. We continued onto Main Street and we turned left onto Tennis Court Drive. We turned right onto Greenland Drive and left onto Humberstone Drive. We turned right onto Wycombe Road and right onto Tailby Avenue. We turned left onto Hastings Road and we ran forwards onto Forest Road. We turned right onto the A47 and we ran under the railway line. We crossed the roundabout onto Humberstone Road and we continued onto Humberstone Gate. We turned right onto Charles Street and we entered Haymarket bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a quick walk around. We headed out of the bus station and we saw Arriva Midlands 3813 on a #44 to South Wigston.

We crossed over Charles Street and Matthew decided he needed cake. We went into the cake shop and Matthew had red velvet cake with a scoop of ice cream. After Matthew had finished his dessert we headed back into the bus station. It was 16:00 and we had only had 2 buses so we decided to catch something quickly. We decided to go in a direction we had been before anf head to The Beaumont Centre. As we got to the stop we saw it was First Leicester 63538 on a #26 to Beaumont Leys.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Flexi Day Tickets to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Belgrave Gate and we went under the flyover onto the A607. We turned left onto Abbey Park Road and we ran forwards on to Blackbird and we turned right onto Parker Drive. We turned left onto Somerset Drive and we headed Westwards. We turned left onto Cheltenham Road and left onto Heacham Drive. After a long run through the estate we ran forwards onto Strasbourg Drive. We crossed the A563 and we ran forwards onto Orwell Drive. At the roundabout we turned right onto Rutherford Rood an we stopped at the Beaumont Centre where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Leicester 65538 before it returned to Leicester on the #26.

We turned down First Leicester 63501 on a #25 to Leicester and we decided to wait for the following bus on the #74. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Leicester 63564 on a #74 to Leicester St Margaret's

We got on the bus and we flashed the Flexi Day Tickets to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off Southwards down Orwell Drive and we crossed over the A563. We ran onto Strasbourg Drive and we ran forwards onto Heavham Drive. We turned right onto Calverhey Road and we turned left onto the Southbound B5327. We crossed over Blackbird Road and we turned right onto the Southbound A6. We crossed the river and the grand Union Canal and we ran into the City Centre. We ran forwards onto Church Gate and as there was a traffic problem on Gravel Street, the driver let everyone off here. Once off the bus bus we headed into St Margaret's bus station. We want to catch out quickly again. We promised Matthew we do one more round trip and visit a pub. Alomost immediately we spotted a bus we could catch. As we got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 4560 on a #29A to Coalville.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Flexi Day Tickets to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and went onto the A594. We turned right onto the A6 and left onto Sanvey Gate. We turned right onto the A50 and we headed Northwards. We crossed the Grand Union Canal and the river and we crossed Blackbvird Road where we decided to get up and get off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Arriva Midlands 4560 as it continued towards Swadlincote.

We crossed over the A50 and we walked Northwards up Blackbird Road until we came to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and I ordered the drinks. We met up again and we sat down. Matthew had a small Coke and we sat and had our drinks. When we had finished we went out to get a bus back into Leicester. We crossed the B5327 and we walked to a stop. The bus that we went to catch disappeared from the map. We walked arounbd the corner thinkking we culd catch a #26. Bur we realised that it was a circular and it was going away from the City. The #25 in the opposite direction wasn't for a while. We walked back onto the B5327 and we waited for a bus. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Leicester 63564 on a #74 to Leicester.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Flexi Day Tickets to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the B5327 and we crossed over Blackbird Road and we turned right onto the Southbound A6. We crossed the river and the grand Union Canal and we ran into the City Centre. We turned left onto Burley Way and we turned right onto Belgrave Gate. We got in the traffic issue again. It turned out to be a coach broken down in the entrance to St Margaret's bus station. We turned right onto Abbey Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took a pictre of First Leicester 63564.

We walked along Charles Street and we headed into the shopping centre and we we got in the lift. We met mum and went to the car. Once in the car we set off to a chip shop. We ran out of the car park and we turned right onto Belgrave Gate. We crossed the roundabout and we continued Northwards. At the next roundabout we turned left onto Abbey Park Road. We ran forwards onto Blackbird Road and we follwed it to the left. We turned right onto Groby Road and right onto Medina Road. We turned right onto Buckminster Road and we parked up near to the chip shop. I went to the chip shop and bought food. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Vimto. When I had finished eating we set off onto Buckminster Road and left onto Medina Road. We turned right onto the A50 and we headed out for Leicester. We crossed the A563 and the A46 and we continued out of the city. after around 8 mile we joined the Northbound M1. As be travelled Northwards we were past by East Yorkshire 17 and Fernhill Travel YD24 ERK. We came off the M1 at junction 24 and as we reached the roundabout we caught up the 2 coaches. We saw East Yorkshire 20017 on a National Express #451 service to Hull.

We ran across the roundabout and we ran onto the Westbound A50. We crossed the A515 roundabout and we continued towards Uttoxeter. We ran along the Uttoxeter bypass before continuing Westwards along the A50. We ran through Meir and Longton and we came off the A50 at Heron Cross. We turned right onto Blurton Road and left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we stopped at uncle Dave's. Matthew used the toilet and had some of uncle Rob's orange Fanta. Matthew filled in the calendar and we got back into the car. We said goodbye and we set off onto Wheildon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton. turned right onto Church Road and we turned right onto the A5035 and we got back to Blurton around 20:10. Matthew had his medication and afterwards chilled out on his computer. We wrote the Blog and also wrote an e-mail. Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke and a Bakewll Slice. Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to Widnes. As long as no one gets ill we'll do a today. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 67156 on a #23 to Hanley.

Matthew got his face mask and bag and got ready to go. We came around 11:30 and Matthew came downstairs and got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. We checked the bag and Matthew realised that he had no batteries so we returned to the residential unit to pick them up. We set off onto Wheildon Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road and we saw Travel Express BG61 KTK. We turned right onto Temple Street and we stopped at the residential unit. We collected his batteries and and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto City Road. We ran down the hiull into Stoke and we went under the railway line. We crossed over the the A500 and we turned right onto Northbound A500. Travelling up the A500 we saw Scragg’s VT 9389. The A500 was quite bus as far as Longport and afterwards it eased off a little. We ran into Cheshire and we joined the Northbound M6 at junction 16. As we went up the M6 we saw Paul’s of Stoke Y13 POS, Brittannia Travel S100 KKE, Afford rent-a-car HV70 RTZ, Anthony's Travel P30 ANT and Llew Jones BG65 TGU(#207). We left the M6 at junction 21A and we went Westwards along the M62 to junction 7. We went Southwards down the A557 and we turned right to run up to Green Oaks Way. We past the entrance to the bus station and we turn ed left into the car park. We parked up and we set off over the bus station towards the market. On the way we saw required Network Warrington 80 on a #32 to Warrington. We walked into the market and we went to the back corner of the market. Matthew went to the adjacent toilet whilst mum ordered the food and uncle Dave saved he table. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a small bottle of Coke. When we had finished eating we said goodbye to mum and walked through the market back to the bus stops. Whilst we waited for the next bus to Runcorn we saw Network Warrington 88 on a #32 to Warrington. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was required Arriva NW&W 5012 on a #61 to Palacefields. We got on the bus and we booked Halton Hopper Day tickets at £.530 before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto Green Oaks Way and we turned right onto Gerrards Street. We ran forwards onto Milton Road and we turned left onto the B5419. We went near to the site where are currently developing a new leisure centre on Moor Lane. We went through the old town and across the roundabout onto Victoria Road. We turned right onto Hutchinson Road and we joined the the A533. We crossed over the Jubilee Bridge. We crossed the bridge into Runcorn and we wheeled around onto Station Road and into the old town. We crossed over the canal and past 'The Archers' pub and onto the High Street. We turned into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. We decided to catch the next Arriva bus towards Halton Lea. Whilst we waited we saw MP Travel MP20 BUS on a X1 to Halton Hospital. A few minutes later we saw dud Arriva NW&W 3041 on a #110 to Murdishaw. We got on the bus and we flashed the Halton Hopper Day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto Church Street. We ran forwards onto Leiria Way and at the first roundabout we ran forwards onto the busway. We ran the industrial areas around Astmoor and under the Mersey Gateway bridge. We joined Castlefield Avenue East and we got onto the busway at the corner of Tyrrel Way by the McColls Store. We ran through the Castlefields area and we stopped at the library side of the Halton Lea shopping centre where we got up and got off the bus. After taking a few bus pictures we set off to go into the shopping centre. There was an old lady who was struggling to get to the shopping centre due to there being an elevated walkway and her being quite afraid of heights. I helped her to the lift and I also guided he out of the lift into the shopping centre after I had walked down the stairs. We walked through the shopping centre and we went to the toilets. After we had used the toilets we headed over to the South side of the shopping centre where the Runcorn bound buses stop. A few minutes later we saw required Arriva NW&W 3043 on a #1 Halton Lea circular service. We got on the bus and we flashed the Halton Hopper Day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set offf out of the bus station along the busway and we went clockwise around the large circuit. We passed Pheonix park and we continued past Castlefields and Windmill Hill. We past close to Runcorn East railway station and then we emerged into the Murdishaw turning circle. We got up and got off the bus and we turned down a bus so that we could visit the Co-operative Food store. Matthew brought a can of Coke and a small bottle of Irn Bru as well as a couple of chocolate bars. We went outside and we saw required Arriva NW&W 2960 arrive on a #1 Halton Lea circular service. We got on the bus and flashed the Halton Hopper Day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off around the turning circle and onto the Southbound busway we ran through the Palacefields area and past Halton Hospital. We continued down to the Halton Lea shopping centre and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw Arriva NW&W 3045 on a #82A to Liverpool. We waited for the next bus back to Runcorn. A few minutes later dud Arriva NW&W 5009 on a #110 to Warrington. We got on the bus and we flashed the Halton Hopper Day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus stattion onto busway, and we went around an Asda store and North under the Halton Link Road. The busway was on a sweeping curve to the right and we went through the middle of the Castlefields area and we saw Arriva NW&W 2574 on a #110 to Murdishaw. After around 3/4 of a mile we left the busway and went forwards on Tyrell Way. We followed the road around to the left and we turned left onto Castlefields Avenue East. We crossed over the A558 Daresbury Expressway and we turned left onto another busway. We ran Westwards through the Astmoor area of town. The busway crossed over road every couple of hundred yards and there were traffic lights which usually turned to green and we approached them. We also passed under the Southern end of the Mersey Gateway bridge. We went under the B5155 adjacent to the canal and we turned right at a roundabout off the busway onto Lieria Way with the town centre in sight. We ran down the hill and we turned left into the bus station. Once we got to the station we got up and got off the bus. Across the other side was Arriva NW&W 3041 on a #110 to Warrington. A few minutes later we saw Ashcroft's Travel HIG 5671 on the #52 Beechwood Circular service. We turned left onto Church Street and we went to The Little Dessert Shop. For afters Matthew had a red velvet cheesecake with custard. when we had finished we walked along Church Street and we continued through to the bus station. A few minutes later we saw dud Arriva NW&W 3023 on a #110 to Murdishaw. We got on the bus and we flashed the Halton Hopper Day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto Church Street. We ran forwards onto Leiria Way and at the first roundabout we ran forwards onto the busway. We ran the industrial areas around Astmoor and under the Mersey Gateway bridge. We joined Castlefield Avenue East and we got onto the busway at the corner of Tyrrel Way by the McColls Store. After a brief stop we continued to the hospital where the bus terminated. We got off the bus. We crossed the road and we decided to walk up to the turning circle to get pictures as there were buses parked up there. We walked up the path and we saw Arriva NW&W 661 on a #3A to Murdishaw. Once we had looked at the buses at the turning circle we walked back to the Westbound side of the road. We deciced to do the next C79 towards Widnes and we saw Arriva NW&W 3046 on a #110 to Warrington. We got on the bus and we flashed the Halton Hopper Day tickets to the driver before sitting down towards the rear of the bus. We set off along the busway towards the Halton Lea shopping centre that were very run down and the we circle around onto the Southway and into the bus station. We got up and got off. a few minutes later we saw MP Travel N270 KKH on a X1 to Liverpool. As it got closer we saw it was required Arriva NW&W 5003 on a #79C to Liverpool. We got on the bus and we flashed the Halton Hopper Day tickets to the driver before sat down towards the back of the bus We sat down towards the back of the bus and we set off along the Busway. We carried on West onto Grangeway. We ran through Higher Runcorn and we turned right onto Clifton Road. We ran through onto Moughland Lane and we joined Greenway Road. We ran fast onto the A533 and we turned right over the canal onto Leiria Way and into Runcorn town centre. After stopping the bus station. We got off the bus and it was at this point Matthew decided to go to the pub across the road. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards he had a glass of Coke. Once he had finished his drink we re-joined uncle Dave who waited outside and we went back up to the bus station. We decided back to Widnes. A few minutes later we saw Arriva NW&W 2574 on the #110 to Murdishaw. As it got closer we saw that it was dud Arriva NW&W 3136 on the #79C to Liverpool. We got on the bus and we flashed the Halton Hopper Day tickets to the driver for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off up the High Street and we passed close to the Waterloo pub as was and we joined the A533. We crossed over the Mersey and we ran into Waterloo Road. the old town of Widnes up Victoria Road. We climbed the hill along Victoria Road. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran through a bus lane into the Asda car park. We joined onto Gerrard Street past Marks & Spencers and we turned left onto Green Oaks Way. We we got to the bus stops by Green Oaks we got up and got off the bus. Mum had moved the car to a space by the bus station but she hadn't got back from the shops, so we waited in the bus station taking a few pictures. A few minutes later we saw required Arriva NW&W 5015 on a #61 to Runcorn. A few minutes later mum turned up and we got in the car. Matthew had a Greggs sausage roll and a small bottle of Irn Bru. We set off onto Green Oaks Way and we turned right onto Gerrards Street. We ran forwards onto Milton Road and we turned left onto the B5419. We turned left onto the B5419. Victoria Road. We climbed the hill along Victoria Road. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran through a bus lane into the Asda and we parked up. We went into the supermarket and Matthew used the toilet. Afterwards we went into the McDonalds and we had tea. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. After eating his food Matthew went to the toilet. When we had finished we set off onto Widnes Road and we turned right onto Brynn Street. We joined onto Gerrard Street past Marks & Spencers and we turned left onto Green Oaks Way and we did a U-turn at the roundabout and headed Southwards. We turned left at the roundabout and we joined the Northbound A557. We ran the 3 miles or so up to the M62 and we got onto the Eastbound M62. We ran for around 8 miles to junction 10 and we joined the Southbound M6. As we travlled down the M6 and as we travelled towards home we saw Osborne of Irlam K55 RDO, Parks of Hamilton LSK 807, an unidentifled Hartley's minicoach, an unidentified Flixbus coach (#023) and white minibus DK04 MWE. At junction 16 we went South down the A500. As we travelled South we saw Roseville DY65 MDN, Lucky Seven DU66 CJF and an unidentified Roy McCarthy coach. We came off the A500 at Stoke and we headed Southwards before veering left onto Whieldon Road. We dropped off uncle Dave. Matthew got back in the car and we continued up Whieldon Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew also drank a bottle of Buddies Cherryade. Matthew chilled out in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to Widnes. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to Widnes he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to Widnes, we saw Afford rent-a-car MX70 CJF. Around 12:05 we came to pick Matthew up. After getting ready we went downstairs to the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Wheildon Road and we ran down the hill and picked up uncle Dave. under the railway line towards Stoke and we joined the A500. As we travelled Northwards up the A500 we saw blue minibus MX07 NDU and West Midlands Ambulance Service YJ19 HFL. The A500 was quite bus as far as Longport and afterwards it eased off a little. We ran into Cheshire and we joined the Northbound M6 at junction 16. As we went up the M6 we saw red minibus RX70 AVP, white minibus VA12 CFO / H3 HET, Selwyn's 333(#333), an unidentifled RK Travel minibus, silver minibus SA15 CFJ. Parks of Hamilton KSK 950 and Routemaster4Hire RM765. We ran past junction 17 and the site of the new petrol station and McDonalds. We passed Knutsford services and we saw white minibus reg like Y811 GFS on a low load. We continued Northwards up the M6 and we saw Parks of Hamilton KSK 950 and Routemaster4Hire RM765. We left the M6 at junction 21A and we went Westwards along the M62 to junction 7. We went Southwards down the A557 and we turned right to run up to Green Oaks Way. We past the entrance to the bus station and we turn ed left into the car park. We parked up and we set off over the bus station towards the market. On the way we saw required Ashcroft's Travel HIG 5674 on a #27 to West Bank.

We headed into the market and Matthew used the toilet. We had dinner at the nearby Widnes market Cafe. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a bottle of Coke. When we had finished we said goodbye to mum and we walked towards the exit near to the bus station. We stopped on the way at a sweet stall and Matthew had a few eggs and a couple of jelly snakes. We asked which buses Matthew wanted to do and he chose Arriva. We decided to head over the river first so we stood on the North side of the bus station. Whilst we waited we saw Arriva NW&W 5018 on a #61 to Palacefields.

We got on the bus and we brought Flexi Day tickets at £5.50 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto Green Oaks Way and we turned right onto Gerrards Street. We ran forwards onto Milton Road and we turned left onto the B5419. We went near to the site where are currently developing a new leisure centre on Moor Lane. We went through the old town and across the roundabout onto Victoria Road. We turned right onto Hutchinson Road and we joined the the A533. We crossed over the Jubilee Bridge. We crossed the bridge into Runcorn and we wheeled around onto Station Road and into the old town. We crossed over the canal and past 'The Archers' pub and onto the High Street. We turned into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of Arriva NW&W 5018 before it carried on towards Palacefields.

We decided to catch the next Arriva bus towards Halton Lea. Whilst we waited we saw MP Travel MP20 BUS on a X1 to Halton Hospital.

A few minutes later we saw dud Arriva NW&W 2699 on a #110 to Murdishaw.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Flexi Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto Church Street. We ran forwards onto Leiria Way and at the first roundabout we ran forwards onto the busway. We ran the industrial areas around Astmoor and under the Mersey Gateway bridge. We joined Castlefield Avenue East and we got onto the busway at the corner of Tyrrel Way by the McColls Store. We ran through the Castlefields area and we stopped at the library side of the Halton Lea shopping centre where we got up and got off the bus. After taking a few bus pictures we set off to go into the shopping centre. There was an old lady who was struggling to get to the shopping centre due to there being an elevated walkway and her being quite afraid of heights. I helped her to the lift and I also guided he out of the lift into the shopping centre after I had walked down the stairs. We walked through the shopping centre and we went to the toilets. After we had used the toilets we headed over to the South side of the shopping centre where the Runcorn bound buses stop. A few minutes later we saw required Stagecoach Merseyside 26062 on a #2 to Chester.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Flexi Day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus stattion onto busway Westwards. We stopped on the Southside of the Halton Lea shopping centre. We carried on West onto Grangeway. At the end we ran forwards onto Linkway and right onto Laburnum Grove. We turned right onto Windsor Grove and we followed the road around. We ran North up Norleane Crescent and we turned left onto Heath Road. We then did a loop around Langdale Road and Ivy Street before we rejoined Heath Road, this time going Northwards. We continued up the B5155 and we followed the road to the left over the canal. We then travelled via Lena Way into the town centre and into the bus station. We got off the bus and we crossed over to the other side to catch something back West. A few minutes later we saw Ashcroft's Travel Solo HIG 5671 on the #52 Beechwood Circular service.

The Solo went on layover for a short while. A few minutes later we saw required Arriva NW&W 2642 on a #79C to Liverpool. A few minutes later we saw dud Arriva NW&W 2668 on a #3C to Halton Lea hospital.

We got on the bus and we flashed Flexi Day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we turned right and up the hill. We crossed the canal and we went under the A533. We turned left into Boston Avenue and we ran Eastwards. We turned left into Halton Brook Avenue and then we turned right into Halton Brook Avenue. We went forwards off Halton Brook Avenue on to Brackendale and after crossing over the B5155 onto Halton Lodge Avenue we turned left onto the busway. With Runcorn being radically different, there are three types of Roads. We ran under the A533 central expressway and into the Halton Lea shopping centre. The Eastbound busway calls at the library on an elevated road. After a brief stop we continued to the hospital where the bus terminated. We got off the bus and Matthew then took another picture of Arriva NW&W 2668 before it ran up to the turning circle.

We crossed over the busway and we waited for a bus back to Runcorn. We saw required Stagecoach Merseyside 27777 on a the #2 to to Chester. and we few minutes later we saw another Arriva bus approaching, As it got closer we saw that it was required Arriva NW&W 3023 on the #110 to Warrington.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Flexi Day tickets to the driver. We sat down towards the back of the bus and the bus set off along the busway, and we went around an Asda store and North under the Halton Link Road. The busway was on a sweeping curve to the right and we went through the middle of the Castlefields area. After around 3/4 of a mile we left the busway and went forwards on Tyrell Way. We followed the road around to the left and we turned left onto Castlefields Avenue East. We crossed over the A558 Daresbury Expressway and we then turned left onto another busway. We ran Westwards through the Astmoor area of town. The busway crossed over road every couple of hundred yards and there were traffic lights which usually turned to green and we approached them. We also passed under the Southern end of the Mersey Gateway bridge. We went under the B5155 adjacent to the canal and we turned right at a roundabout off the busway onto Lieria Way with the town centre in sight. We ran down the hill and we turned left into the bus station. Once we got to the station we got up and got off the bus. On the other side of the bus station we saw Arriva NW&W 3138 on a #79C to Murdishaw.

Matthew used the toilet and afterwards he had a glass of Coke. Once he had finished his drink we re-joined uncle Dave who waited outside and we went back up to the bus station. We decided to go to Murdishaw and back to Widnes. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. It was required MP Travel EX21 ONE on a X1 to Halton Hospital. We got on and flashed the Flexi Day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off Westwards and we crossed under the A557 and Southwards down Greenway Road. We turned left onto Moughland lane and we continued forwards onto Clifton Road. We turned left onto one of the busways and we ran under the A533 before stopping outside the library. We continued up to Halton Lea Hospital. The bus emptied out in front of us and we encourage Matthew to take a picture inside MP Travel EX21 ONE.

When we got to the hospital we got up and got off the bus. Directly behind us was Arriva NW&W 5008 which had come a different route and had now caught back up with us. We crossed the road and we decided to walk up to the turning circle to get pictures as there were buses parked up there. We walked up the path and we saw MP Travel EX21 ONE on a X1 to Murdishaw.

Once we had looked at the buses at the turning circle we walked back to the Westbound side of the road. We deciced to do the next C79 towards Widnes and we saw Arriva NW&W 2583 on a #1 Halton Lea circular. We got on the bus and we flashed the Flexi Day tickets to the driver before sitting down towards the rear of the bus. We set off along the busway towards the Halton Lea shopping centre that were very run down and the we circle around onto the Southway and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew took another picture of Arriva NW&W 2583.

a few minutes later we saw another Arriva bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was required Arriva NW&W 3136 on a #110 to Liverpool.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Flexi Day tickets to the driver for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus We sat down towards the back of the bus and we set off along the Busway. We carried on West onto Grangeway. We ran through Higher Runcorn and we turned right onto Clifton Road. We ran through onto Moughland Lane and we joined Greenway Road. We ran fast onto the A533 and we turned right over the canal onto Leiria Way and into Runcorn town centre. After stopping the bus station we set off up the High Street and we passed close to the Waterloo pub as was and we joined the A533. We crossed over the Mersey and we ran into Waterloo Road. the old town of Widnes up Victoria Road. We climbed the hill along Victoria Road. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran through a bus lane into the Asda car park. We joined onto Gerrard Street past Marks & Spencers and we turned left onto Green Oaks Way. We we got to the bus stops by Green Oaks we got up and got off the bus. Mum had moved the car to a space by the bus station but she hadn't got back from the shops, so we waited in the bus station taking a few pictures. A few minutes later we saw required Arriva NW&W 5015 on a #61 to Runcorn.

A few minutes later mum turned up and we got in the car. Matthew had a Greggs sausage roll and a small bottle of Irn Bru. We set off onto Green Oaks Way and we did a u-turn and we turned right onto Lugsdale Road and we spotted a chip shop. After getting some food we drove for another mile or so to a parking space and we ate our food. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. When we had finished eating we continued Westwards along Lugsdale Road and we turned right onto Vine Street after dropping off a few gifts we went down Lugsdale Road and at the roundabout and headed back to the A557. We travelled North for around 3 mile before we turned right onto the Eastbound M62. As we travelled towards the M6 we saw Clover Cars Travel YG66 UOF, grey minicoach WA07 ??? and an unidentifled A2B Travel minicoach. At junction 10 we got onto the Southbound M6 and as we travelled towards home we saw Alpha Minibuses N27 SPT, taxi minibus DK64 RDU, HS2 Travel B12 XEC, Parks of Hamilton LSK 509, an unidentifled Hartley's minicoach, an unidentified Flixbus coach (#023), an unidentified white Mercedes yellow/pink stripe minibus, white minibus BL17 SLU and Stanton's of Stoke 484 ABK. At junction 16 we went South down the A500. As we travelled South we saw Roseville BG07 XCN, Lucky Seven YJ14 MSX and an unidentified Roy McCarthy coach. We came off the A500 at Stoke and we headed Southwards before veering left onto Whieldon Road. We dropped off uncle Dave. Matthew got back in the car and we continued up Whieldon Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew also drank a bottle of Buddies Cherryade. Matthew chilled out in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today we decided to re-visit Widnes. We checked the weather for today and it was for cool cloudy weather with a few showers. We gave Matthew a list of destinations from the Midlands and North West and from the list Matthew chose Widnes. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We set off around 11:45 onto the A5035. We turned right onto Stanley Matthews Way and we ran down to the A50. As we got to Sideway we hit traffic on the A500. We saw an unidentified Go Goodwins tri-axle coach going onto the Eastbound A50. Mum realised that she had forgotten her phone so we had to return home. We got onto City Road and we ran up to Heron Cross along the A50 link road. We ran through Blurton along Blurton Road and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive and we went back home. After picking up the phone we got onto the A5035 and we ran into Trentham. We went North up the A34 and we got onto the Northbound A500 again. Traffic was still slow up to Longport and then we started to make better time. As we travelled North we passed Maroon WN55 PXX, Nova Tour YJ10 JYY, Barratt's M1 BCL & white minibus CX15 HDG. We got onto the Northbound M6 and there was more traffic problems. As we travelled Northwards we saw silver minibus LN08 TSY, Hollinshead 0057 BOY, , an unidentified ABC Coach Hire coach, an unidentified Mainline coach, Bennett's FY52 GOP, Park's LSK 830 on a #570 service and 3 unidentified Stagecoach Enviro200's heading South. At junction 21A we went Westwards along the M62 for a few junctions passing D Hurst travel P310 PYA. We ran Southwards down the A557 and we turned right onto Green Oaks Way and then parked up near to the market hall. We got out of the car and headed towards the market to go and have dinner. On the way we saw Halton Transport 27 on the #27 service.

We walked into the market and we went over to the far corner. Matthew used the toilet and then we went into the market cafe. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. After we had finished eating we said goodbye to mum and we walked back through the market to the bus stands. We took up our usual position on the North side of the road to catch a bus towards Runcorn and we saw required Arriva NW&W 5011 on a #79C to Liverpool.

We decided to go in a different direction, so we crossed over the road to catch the gas powered bus. We got on the bus and we booked Arriva NW day Saver tickets at £5.50 each before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off Northwards to the roundabout and we joined the Westbound B5178. We travelled around 2 miles and we crossed over the railway line near to Hough Green railway station. We were now out in open countryside and we ran fast along the B5178 into the village of Tarbock Green. We continued West for around another mile into Netherley and we continued along the B5178 North Westwards for around another mile to Belle Vale. When we got into familiar surroundings and we saw the shopping centre we got up and got of off the bus. In front of us at the same stop was required Arriva NW&W 4458 on a #79 to Liverpool.

We decided that we would catch a bus towards Liverpool Airport and we knew the bus went from around the corner in the small bus station outside the shopping centre. We walked to the crossroads on the corner and we saw Avon Buses 702 on a #165 Bell Vale circular service.

The shopping centre bus station was a little further on than we thought it was, but when we got there we saw required Selwyns PN07 KSE on a #3A service to Huyton.

We saw Arriva NW&W 4609 on a #89 to St Helens and a few minutes later we saw required Arriva NW&W 4602 on a #89 to Liverpool Airport.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver before we went upstairs. The rear of the top deck was empty so Matthew took a picture inside Arriva NW&W 4602.

We continued down onto The B5171 and we ran through a small village called Gateacre and then up a steep hill to Gateacre Brow. At the top of the hill we turned left into Acrefiled Road and we ran into the village of Woolton. We went across a crossroad onto Speke Road and we followed it down into Hunts Cross where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of Arriva NW&W 4602 as it carried on towards the airport.

We decided to got to the toilet in the garage around the corner. Matthew used the facilities and then we brought a small bottle of Coke, a small bottle of Irn Bru and a Crunchie. We walked back to the same stop that we had got off the bus thinking we might get another bus on the #81A service. We saw a bus approaching and it was required Arriva NW&W 4435 on the following #89 to Liverpool Airport.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver before we went upstairs. The rear of the top deck was empty so Matthew took a picture inside Arriva NW&W 4435.

We continued onto Woodend Avenue and we travelled South along a wide boulevard style road. We crossed the A561 and we travelled further South. We ran Eastwards along Central Avenue which was another Boulevard. We travelled South down Eastern Avenue and then we turned right onto Hale Road. We ran West for around about 1/2 mile and then we entered into the Airport grounds. We passed through two sets of barriers and then the bus pulled up outside the main departure lounge of the Airport. When we got off the bus it was the only bus around. A coach arrived outside the Hotel and on closer inspection we saw that it was Bradshaws Coaches FJ17 PVZ.

A bus pulled up in the distance and went into one of the layover bays. Whilst we waited to see what it was we saw Carmel Travel N13 FLN pull up outside the hotel.

A few minutes later a bus pulled off the layover bays and onto stand 4 for Liverpool South Parkway bound services. As it got closer we saw that it was required Arriva NW&W 7011.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver before we went upstairs. The bus set off out of the airport onto Speke hall Avenue. At the roundabout we went straight across onto Estuary Banks. We turned left into Estuary Boulevard and we ran into an industrial estate with some very large warehouses. We turned right onto De Havilland Drive and we followed the road around to the left onto Dakota Drive. We ran to the end past B&M and we turned right onto Garston Shore Road. We ran along the Mersey for a short while and we turned right onto Blackburne Street. We turned left onto Banks Road and we ran to the end. We turned left onto Church Road. and we crossed over the A561 onto past the steel clad health centre. We continued onto Woolton Road and the joined he Northbound B5171 before turning right into Liverpool South Parkway the Bus/Rail Interchange. We got up and got off the bus and we walked over to stand 4 to catch something back towards the airport. Almost immediately required Arriva NW&W 4478 pulled into the interchange on a #500 to Liverpool Airport.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver before we went upstairs. The bus set off onto the Southbound B5171 and we turned left onto the A561. We ran along the dual carriageway before turning right onto Estuary Boulevard. We turned left onto Estuary Banks and we ran forwards onto Speke Hall Avenue. We turned left onto Dunlop Road and entered the airport through the barriers. We got up and got off the bus and we waited for something back Eastwards. Whilst we waited we saw Arriva NW&W 7010 on a 80A to Liverpool One.

A few minutes later we saw required Arriva NW&W 5015 on a #82A to Halton Lea Hospital.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the airport onto Speke Hall Avenue and we turned right onto Dunlop Road. This service runs around the Speke estate before going Eastwards to wards Hale. We turned left onto Western Avenue and we turned right onto Central Avenue.We ran onto South Parade and forwards onto Central Way. At the end we turned right onto Eastern Avenue and we ran to the end. We turned left onto Hale Road and we headed out into a grassy area adjacent to the banks of the Mersey. We ran into Hale village onto the High Street. We turned left onto Town Lane and we ran up to Hale Bank. We crossed over the main Liverpool to London railway line and we turned left onto Hale Road. We crossed over the A562 and we ran the 1/2 mile or so onto the B5178. We decided to get up and get of the bus here so that we could catch a different bus into Widnes town centre. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Arriva NW&W 5015 before it carried on towards Halton Lea Hospital.

A few minutes later we saw another LNG powered bus approaching... As it got closer we saw that it was dud Arriva NW&W 5003 on a #79C to Murdishaw.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Arriva Day Saver ticket to the driver for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We continued Eastwards along the B5178 for the last mile into town. We crossed over the B5419 and we ran into the North end of town. We turned left at the roundabout and we ran around the left hand bend into the Green Oaks bus station area outside the market hall where we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over the road back into the car park and we got in the car where mum was waiting with Greggs sausage rolls and a can of Irn Bru. We set off out the car park onto the Northbound Green Oaks Way. We did a u-turn at the roundabout and we went Southwards and stopped at the Morrisons petrol station to fill up before continuing down Green Oaks Way and onto the Northbound A557. We ran the 3 or so miles North to the motorway and then we got onto the Eastbound M62. At the Croft Interchange we got onto the Southbound M6. Travelling back home down the M6 we saw ? Travel (Manchester) SH59 CZJ, Copeland's Tours MIB 520 & silver minibus SV08 WFY. At junction 16 we got onto the Southbound A500. On the A500 we saw Stanton's of Stoke 82 HBC, A1 Embassy LK13 BRU & Malbank OU66 XBX. We came off the A500 at Sideway and we got onto the Eastbound A50. We came off at Longton and we went to Z Carz to see what was there this evening. There was nothing on the spare ground so we turned left into Willow Row. In the yard was Z Carz Ford minibus LG09 WPE.

We also saw Z Carz Fiat minibus YN11 AHJ in the yard. We ran along Willow Row and through the car park onto Spring bank Road. After doing a u-turn on the roundabout we ran along the A5035. The car parking spaces were full so we turned left onto to Rosslyn Road and we ran through to Farmer Street. We parked up and went to the chip shop. On the way Matthew went into Coral Bookmakers to use the toilet. After picking up the food we walked back across the road to the car. We returned onto the A5035 and we ran through Dresden into Blurton. We got home around 19:30. Once we got home Matthew had sausage chips and gravy followed by a jam filled shortbread biscuit.
