Trip to Chesterton / Stoke 24-05-2026

Today Matthew was going to McDonalds and going around the bus garages. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 09:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After getting ready we went to pick up uncle Dave. We got in the car and we set off around 10:40. We got ready and went out in tne car to pick up uncle Dave just before 11:00. We set off through Blurton onto Finstock Avenue, right onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we went through the road works and up the hill to Heron Cross. We crossed over the A50 and we turned left at the traffic lights onto Grove Road. We continued onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Afterwards we set off down Wheildon Road and forwards onto the A500. We turned left onto Church Street and we ran around the one-way system. We turned right onto Campbell Place and left onto Hartshill Road. We ran to the edge of Newcastle and we ran down George Street. At the roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road and right onto the Northbound A34. We ran through Milehouse to Chesterton and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had a cheeseburger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke, and we shared some chicken nuggets. After we had finished eating we went outside to the bus stop to wait for a bus to Newcastle. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63115 on a #39 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down the A34 and we ran through Milehouse and as we headed towards Newcastle and we turned left onto Liverpool Road and left onto Ryecroft. At the roundabout we turned right onto barracks Road and we turned right into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked over to the car and we got in the car. We set off onto Barracks Road and we turned left onto the A34. We turned left onto The Avenue and we ran up to Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke and onto the one-way system. We turned left onto Glebe Street and right onto Lytton Street and we saw grey minibus WX08 AUJ. We turned left onto City Road and under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran under the railway line into LOngton and we went forwards onto Market Street past the former Nat West bank. We turned left onto Anchor Road and right onto Sutherland Road. We turned left onto Weston Coyney Road and we turned into the Cinder Hill industrial estate to see if there was anything at Reids. The was and unidentified railway waggon onm a low loader. We continued up Weston Coyney Road passed the site of a new Lidl. We turned left onto the A520 and left onto the A5272. We turned right onto Hulme Road and we stopped at Park Hall. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we went to look at a horse box that had been fitted out inside as a camper van. The guy who owned the vehicle kindly let Matthew have a look inside! Afterwards we returned to the car. We set off out of Park Hall onto Hulme Road and we turned right onto the A5272. We turned left into the road outside the bus garage and we stopped to see what was at the Scraggs garage today. We saw Scraggs VT 9389 parked up on the yard.

Also seen was Scraggs 1655 VT. We turned left onto the A5272 and left onto Anchor Road. We turned right omto Mossfield Drive and we drove to the far end. We got out of the car and we walked around the back of the D&G Bus garage. We saw D&G Bus 146 parked up in the row.

Also seen was D&G Bus 503 parked up. We got back into the car and we drove down to the other end of Mossfield Drive. We got out of the car and we walked down the footpath to the First Pottereis bus garage. We walked around the garage and we saw an number of First 36829. We turned left onto the A5272 and we cut behind the back of the pertol station. At the side of the bus garage behind the petrol station we saw First 36825 which is at the depot for a repaint.

We cut back out onto Anchor road and we turned right by the new advertising hoarding along the path behind the bus garage where we saw First 36321 which is currently at Adderley Green for assessment for future electric YE74 VGO. We turned left and up the hill back to the car. When we got back to the car we got in and Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. We set off along Mossfield Drive and we turned right onto Anchor Road. As we travelled down Anchor Road, the carrier bag we had bough the cans out into the car was sucked out of the window by the wind! We ran into Longton and we turned left onto Market Street. We turned left onto Commerce Street and at the roundabout we turned right onto The Strand. We ran under the railway bridge and onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and we turned left onto the A50 link road. We turned right and we joined the Westbound A50. At Sideway we headed towards the incinerator and we ran forwards onto White Rock Road. We continued onto Railway Cottages and we turned left. We turned around at the end of the road and we drove back to the turning circle to wait for the buses. We saw D&G Bus 6001 on a #24 to Newstead. Also seen was D&G Bus 6003 on a #27A to Newstead. After we had seen the bus we went to drop off uncle Dave. We set off along Railway Cotages and we ran forwards onto White Rock Road. We crossed over the A500 and we turned right onto Campbell Road. We turned right onto Selwyn Street and left onto Maclaglan Street. We turned left onto Woodhouse Street and we saw white mininbus BX62 CNN and Travel Express YJ61 HAU. We turned around and we turned right onto Maclaglan Street. We turned right onto Stamer Street and right onto Butler Street. We turned left onto Woodhouse Street and we saw Shelton Care Group LN26 SYP parked up in the property on the corner. We ran forwards onto Fleming Road and we turned right onto South Wolfe Street. We crossed over Church Street onto Kingsway and we turned right onto Glebe Street. We turned left onto Church Street and we turned right onto the A500. We veered left onto Wheidon Road and we stopped to drop off uncle Dave we ran back up Wheildon Road and forwards onto Grove Road. At Heron Cross we turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed the A50. We ran through Blurton and at the roundabout we veered right onto Church Street and we turned right onto the A5035 and back to Blurton. Later on we did some more of the Blog. For tea Matthew had chicken sandwiches follwed by a can of Cherry Coke. Later on Matthew had some biscuits and watched YouTube. Matthew had a bath and got ready for bed. Matthew went to bed around 23:30... Mark.

Today Matthew was returning to the residential unit, but first he was going out for dinner and doing his weekly shop. He was also the first day the new #340 Whitchurch - Wellington service by D&G Bus. As there was heavy snow overnight, Matthew usual dinner spot was closed today. Also we were going out with one of our friends. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 10:15 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We got ready and we went out just after 12:00. We set off through Blurton onto Beconsfield Drive and we stopped to pick up our friend. We carried on along Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Street. We veered left onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton to Heron Cross. We turned right onto the Eastbound A50 and we headed into Longton. We ran along the high level A50 and we turned left onto the Strand. Once we had established that the Cafe was open, We turned left onto Baths Road and we saw First Potteries 63111 on a #40 to Newstead. We went back onto the high level Eastbound A50 and we turned left onto Heathcote Road. We parked up by Sports Direct and we walked through onto The Strand and we went into the cafe. I ordered the food and Matthew watched buses out of the window. Matthew had sausage and bacon oatcakes washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we went onto the Strand and we saw Stanton's of Stoke VT63 SOS on a GO2 service to Newcastle.

We cut through to the car park and mum had already validated the parking. We got in the car and we set off to Asda. We turned right onto Heathcote Street and we turned left onto The Strand. We turned left onto Baths Road and at the roundabout we turned right onto the Westbound A50. We ran down to Sideway and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran Northwards to Wolstanton and we cam off at the retail park. After parking up near to the supermarket as we headed to the shop we saw blue minibus CT19 NKA parked up.

We went into the supermarket and Matthew did his weekly shop. We returned to the car and we wet off out of the retail park, passing First Potteries 63349 on a #501 Etruria Valley circular. We turned right onto the A527 and we turned right onto the Southbound A500. We ran through Etruria and Stoke and at Sideway we joined the Eastbound A50. We came off the A50 and joined Stanley Matthew Way. We passed D&G Bus 764 on a #27A to Bentilee. We stopped at the lockers near to Aldi to pick up a parcel. We contimnued along Stanley Matthews Way and we turned left onto the A5035. We passed D&G Bus 797 on a #24 to Norton. We turned into Blurton and onto Beaconsfield Drive. We dropped off our friend and ew got back onto Beaconsfield Drive. We got home around 14:15. Matthew chilled out on his computer and had a doughnut amd a can of Dr Pepper. We wrote some Blog and afterwards Matthew returned to the residential unit. We got in the car and we set off through Burton and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive where we saw gold minibus DE04 FNZ parked up. We turned left onto Church Street and left onto Blurton Road. We went through the traffic lights onto Heron Steeet. We carried on forwards onto Station Bridge Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Masterson Street and we saw Stafford & District Community Link LA72 DDU. We turned right onto Watkin Street and we continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room and we put all his shopping in his cupboard or in the kitchen. Matthew chilled out on his computer and watched buses out of the window. For tea Matthew had chicken and rice with naan bread followed by a Toffee sponge pudding and custard. Washed it down with a can of Cherry Coke. Matthew chilled in hos room for a while before we went out. Later on we went downstairs and we saw it was Shelton Care Group NX13 XDJ. We got on the bus and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street. and left onto City Road. We ran down the hill onto the A52 and we went under the railway line. We crossed over the A500 and we ran into Stoke and on the one way system. We followed the road onto Lonsdale Street and right onto Fleming Street. We turned right onto Campbell Place and we followed the road around back onto Church Street. We ran up the hill into Hartshill and edge the edge of Newcastle we ran onto George Street. We went forwards onto the ring road and we crossed the roundabout onto Ironmarket. We parked up and and we went to the pub. For dessert he had chocolate fudge cake with ice cream washed down with a glass of Coke. When we had finished we set off along Ironmarket to the High Street. We turned left onto Hassell Street and we walked past the bus station. We walked onto the ring road and past the new council building and into the park. After we had finished in the park we returned to the minibus. We returned to Fenton in Shelton Care Group NX13 XDJ. We got on the bus and we set off onto the roundabout and we turned right onto barracks Road. We joined the Southbound A34 and we ran down to Trent Vale. We turned left onto Harpfields Road and we went forwards onto Keelings Drive. We turned left onto London Road and we ran through Boothen into Stoke. We ran around the one-way system and onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 and under the railway line into Fenton. We ran up City Road and we turned right into Smithpool Road and left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus later. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw AJS Passenger Travel AJ56 BUZ.

Whilst getting ready we saw Travel Express SM65 DMY heading towards Stoke. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Hanley. At the Afford garage we saw Afford rent-a-car HK22 WCU parked up. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was D&G Bus 6002 on a #1A to Audley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw Travel Express KV63 ODM and ABC Supreme HV22 HKK. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later our bus appeared. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a back to Talke Pits. After a short while we saw D&G Bus 797 on a #104 to Hanley.

Once off the bus we had a look around. We saw First Potteries 35947 on a #25 to Hanley.

Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 3012 on a #85 to Nantwich.

The bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67146 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on the bus and we booked to Trentham Garden before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we ran down through Trent Vale and into Hanford. We continued down through to Trentham where we saw ABC Supreme KX64 AFF. Near to the old entrance to the gardens we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went to across the road the road and into Trentham Gardens. We walked around the North end of the lake and we went to Totally delicious. Matthew had a ham sandwich washed down with bottle of Coke. After finishing eating Matthew went to the toilet. Once we had finished eating we walked back through the main gate and onto the A34 opposite the A5035. We turned left and walked along the A34 to the old Gardens entrance where the bus stop is situated. We waited for a bus back towards Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67146 on a #101 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off Northwards through Trentham. We continued North through Hanford and Trent Vale and we past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle. We turned right onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station from the South end. We got up and got off the bus. Once in the bus station we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67143 on a #38 to Butt Lane. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67148 on the #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over city Road and walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went back upstairs to chill out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we saw First Potteries 63113 on a #11 to Hanley. We continued up City Road. We walked up to the roundabout and around the corner onto Victoria Road to wait for the bus to Hanley. Whilst waiting we saw Safeguard YX67 YDT going towards Hanley. Eventually we saw another bus approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was dud First Potteries 67158 on a #6 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down Victoria Road and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street past the site of the new housing development. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus towards Crewe. We left the bus station and we walked up LIchfield Street. We walked down Tontine Street and onto Tontine Square and we stopped at Greggs. Afterwards we walked back along Tontine Square to the Intu Potteries shopping centre where Matthew had a chicken sandwich washed down with can of Coke. We had a walk around the shops and afterwards we walked through Tontine Square onto Tontine Street. We walked back down Lichfield Street and back to the bus station and Matthew used the toilet. A few mninutes later the bus appeared. It was First Potteries 63100 on a #6 to Coalville. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and past the site new Lidl. We crossed over Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot up Victoria Road and we went sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Manor Street for We stopped at the Fenton Community Hall and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we had a drink of Coke. Matthew had a ham sandwich and sausage rolls. After we had finished we returned to the residential unit. We walked along Manor Street and we crossed over City Road and we turned right onto onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs and back into his room. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group YS70 KWG. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and and turned right. We ran up Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we saw First Potteries 63103 on a #39A to Butt Lane. A short time later the bus arrived on stand. It was D&G Bus 6003 on a #9 to Biddulph.

We got on the bus and we booked to Kidsgrove before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we ran forwards onto Marsh Street. We turned right onto Trinity Street and left onto Stafford Street. We turned left onto New Hall Street and we re-joined Marsh Street. We ran forwards onto the A50 and we ran through Cobridge and we turned right onto the A53 and we past the site of new Wrights Pie shop. We turned right onto the A5272 at Smallthorne Roundabouts onto Ford Green Road. we turned left onto Chell Heath Road through Bradeley and into Chell Heath and passed his old school now sheltered housing. We carried on through Fegg Hayes past the site of new flats. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A527 and we headed up though Brindley Ford past the site on where a developer hopes to build some new homes. We left the A527 at Knypersley and up Wharf Road to the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked across the High Street and onto West Street. We turned left onto Kingsfield Road and left onto Lawton Street. We turned right onto Congleton Road and right onto Thames Drive and we stopped at the Leisure Centre. Afterwards Matthew went to the toilet. We went to for a birthday for one of the staff. There was a party. Matthew had an egg sandwich and a glass of Coke. He also had some birthday cake. After the visited to the leisure centre Matthew returned to the bus station. We set off along Thames Drive and we turned left onto Congleton Road. We walked up the A527 and we veered left onto the High Street. We turned right onto Wharf Road and we waited for the next bus back to Hanley. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 797 on a #94 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Smart Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station we turned right onto High Street. We turned left onto Well Street and left onto Princess Street. We crossed over the roundabout onto Church Road and we turned right onto Church Close. We turned left onto Woodland Street and right onto Park Lane. We turned left onto the A527 and we ran through Knypersley into Brindley Ford. We continued down the hill to Fegg Hayes and up the other side towards Turnhurst. We crossed the roundabout and we veered left onto Furlong Road. At the end we turned left onto Tunstall High Street and forwards onto Brownhills Road. As we travelled down to Trubshaw Cross. We ran forwards along the A5271 through Longport and over the A500. We climbed up Porthill Bank before turning left onto Wolstanton High Street. We ran through Wolstanton and out the other side and down into Newcastle. We crossed the Jubilee Roundabout and we ran onto barracks Road before we turned into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and we saw First Potteries 67178 going out of service. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63361 on a #11X to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke. We passed through Church Street we got up and got off the bus. The bus rounded the corner onto Campbell Place and we stopped at the international off Licence and Mini Market and we brought a can of Coke. We walked back along Campbell Place and we turned right into Church Street to wait for a First bus back up to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 121 on a #1 to Meir.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we crossed over onto Manor Street for We stopped at the Fenton Community Hall and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we had a drink of Coke. Matthew had a ham sandwich and sausage rolls. After we had finished we returned to the residential unit. We walked along Manor Street and we crossed over City Road and we turned right onto onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs and back into his room. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw City Centre Central PO14 OKZ. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we saw Afford rent-a-car HG73 EHD outside there yard.

A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67148 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We got off the bus and we crossed obver the road to the stop opposite to wait for a #25 to Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching and as it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 35932 on a #25 to Keele.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before going upstairs and sitting down. The bus set off down Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus we walked down to the bottom of the bus station. We saw First Potteries 35939 on a #25 to Hanley.

We set off on foot up Hassell Street and we turned right onto High Street and we visited Wright's Pies. Matthew brought at sausage roll. We continued along High Street and we stopped at the benches at the end to eat the sausage rolls followed by a Viscount biscuit and drink the can of Fanta orange. When we had finished we set off onto High Street. We turned right onto Ironmarket and we turned right onto Castle Walk and we went to the bus station and Matthew went to the toilet and we saw First Potteries 67145 on a #101 to Stafford.

A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was D&G Bus 797 on a #1A to Meir.

We got on the bus and we booked to Meir before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto barracks Road and we ran down onto the Southbound A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the grounds and onto Hilton Road. We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. We ran past the site of the new Burger King and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton Transport Interchange onto Baths Road and we ran forwards onto Market Street. We turned left onto Anchor Road and right onto Sutherland Road. We ran to the other end of the road and we turned left onto Weston Coyney Road. We ran up the hill past Matthew's old respite place and at the end we turned right onto the A520 and we turned left onto Brookwood Drive. We turned right onto Stansmore Road and we turned left onto Leason Road. We paused in the Square before going onto Woodville Road. We turned left onto the A520 and we ran into the centre of Meir. At the roundabout we turned right onto Broadway and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked into Broadway and we turned left onto the A520. We waied for a taxi back to Fenton. It was a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off along the A520 and we turned right at the roundabout onto the Westbound A50. We ran through Longton to Fenton and we came off the A50 at Heron Cross. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we went through the traffix lights onto Heron Street. We ran forwards onto Station Bridge Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Masterson Street and right onto Watkin Street. We continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to use his computer and watch buses. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we crossed over onto Manor Street for We stopped at the Fenton Community Hall and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we had a drink of Coke. Matthew had a ham sandwich and sausage rolls. After we had finished we returned to the residential unit. We walked along Manor Street and we crossed over City Road and we turned right onto onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. We went upstairs and back into his room. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Today Matthew was going to visit Grandma and going to Blurton, but first he was going out on the bus. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. In the morning Matthew went out on the bus. We set off downstairs and we cut through onto City Road. We walkes to the bus stop outside the flats. We waited for a bus towards Newcastle. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67157 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we cut through onto the High Street and we went to the chip shop. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy and a can of Coke. When we had finished eating we walked up the High Street and we turned right onto Hassell Street. We went to the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw a bus on stand, It was First Potteries 67177 on a #39A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down near to the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee Roundabout and onto the A53. We ran into Basford and over the A500. We ran down into Etruria and over the A500. We continued along the A53 and we turned left onto Forge Lane. We ran out along the Lane and we crossed over the canal before we returned back into Etruria along festival Way. We crossed under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We turned right onto the ring road and we ran around anti-clockwise to Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we ran up the hill to the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew visited the toilet. Whilst in the bus station we saw D&G Bus 797 on a #100 to Stone. We decided to get a taxi back to Fenton. We went outside the bus station and we got in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off down Lichfield Street and over the roundabout towards Joiner's Square. We croosed the roundabout and onto Victoria Road. We turned right onto Manor Street and we ran to the other end. We ran forwards Christchurch Street and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We got out of the car and Matthew went upstairs to chill out and wait for me to arrive. Arund 15:00 I came in the car with mum and Matthew came downstairs. We said goodbye to mum and we cut through onto City Road. We walked to the bus stop all the way by the flats. As we got to the stop we saw a bus pull up. We saw it was First Potteries 67175 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. Almost immediately we saw a bus approaching. It pulled on stand and we walked up to it. As we got closer we saw it was First Potteries 35942 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to the hospital before we went upstairs and sitting down. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. We got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 35942 as it continued towards Hanley.

Once off the bus we headed along the A34 and we went up the hill towards Grandma's. At Grandma's Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. When it was time to go we went to the pub in the car and we headed down Victoria Street. We turned left onto the A34. We continued southwards into Trent Vale. We continued through Trent Vale and we stopped at the pub. We walked into the pub and we sat down at our one our normal tables. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Highlights of the bus sightings included Leons 239 and First Potteries 63365 on a #101 to Hanley. Once we had finished eating we set off We carried on along the A34 through Hanford and into Trentham and we turned left onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line and into Blurton. We got back around 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. After Matthew had his medication we went to Longton to get a some shopping and to fill up with petrol. We got in the car and we set off through Blurton. We headed onto Finstock Avenue and we turned right onto Ripon Road. We turned left onto the A5035 and we headed through Dresden into Longton. We joined the high level A50 and we turned right onto Baths Road and into Tesco. We parked up and we went into Tesco and bought some shopping. We then got back in the car and we headedv to the petrol station. When we had filled up we turned right at the roundabout onto the A50. We turmed left onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton. We veered right onto Church Road and right onto the A5035. We got back around 20:44. Later on we did some more of the Blog and had some mini battenburgs. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
