Today Matthew was in respite and he was going into his day service. Matthew got up and had some breakfast. Whilst he waited for his bus to appear, he took a few pictures out of the window. we saw Stantons of Stoke KN61 EYG.

A few minutes later Jayjays Travel PO58 XFX came to pick up another service user.

Eventually Matthew's bus appeared and it was his usual transport, Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

The bus set off onto Dividy Road and headed down to the A52. We turned left onto Victoria Road and then right onto manor Street. At the end of manor Street we turned left and then right onto Glebedale Road and we reached our destination. In the morning Matthew went into the sensory and spent time using a computer. for dinner Matthew had beans on toast. After dinner they went for a ramble. They headed into Fenton along Masterton Street. They stopped at the shop and Matthew had a bottle of Coke. They went onto Smithpool Road. We saw First Potteries 53209 on a #23A service.

They walked through the park and came out on Grove Road. We walked towards Heron Cross and then went onto the footpath over the A50. We walked down the path down the hill alongside the A50 and we went to the Britannia Stadium. We went to the harvester and Matthew had a drink of Coke and used the toilet. We walked back to the path by the A50 and we crossed over the road. Instead of going let to grove Road we went right towards Heron Cross. We walked onto Bourne Street and we saw Copeland Tours MIB 797 on a #40 to Longton.

We crossed over the cross Road and we walked down Heron Street. We then saw First Potteries 41514 on a #23 to Newstead.

We carried on down Heron Street and we crossed over the railway line before turning left onto Christchurch Street. We then saw First Potteries 53828 on a #23 to Hanley.

We stopped at the Bench and Bar for another drink of Coke. We then walked back to the day centre. The transport back to Bentilee was Shelton Care Group NL61 VSG. We set off onto Glebedale Road and into Heron Cross. We cross over the crossroads and over the A50 into Blurton. We went along blurton Road and Church Road and onto the A5035. We turned right and we headed to Trentham. We turned right again onto new Inn Lane and right again onto Pacific Drive. We dropped another service user off and we head back onto the A5035. In Longton we crossed the A50 and we jinked around the edge of Longton down Chadwick Street and Bridgewood street. We turned onto Sutherland Road and then we turned right onto Anchor Road. At the other end of Anchor Road we turned left towards Bentilee. We travelled around a mile to the respite centre and I took a picture of Shelton Care Group NL61 VSG.

I went up to my room for a while to watch the other buses arrive. We saw Blackfriars Mercedes minibus CN59 AEW.

For tea Matthew had Sausage and chips followed by cake. Matthew had a bath and then used his computer and watched telly until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was at his day service. Also with new buses going into service on today, it is likely that some of the First Potteries Scanias would be withdrawn from service, Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. The bus turned up just before 09:00 and it was the usual Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We got on the bus and sat down. The bus set off onto the A5035 and then headed through Blurton via Church Road and Blurton Road. We the crossed the A50 and went into Heron Cross. We went down Heron Street and into Fenton to our destination. In the morning we were going to the YMCA in Hanley to do some sport activities. The bus for the journey up to the YMCA was Shelton Care Group DX53 VCA.

We got on the bus and sat down. The bus went through the side Streets of Fenton and came out on City Road near to the bottom. We turned onto the A52 and past the railway station and towards joiner Square. The bus went up Lichfield Street and we saw First Potteries 63174. As far as we know only First Potteries 63174 was in service today, all the other Streetlites were not ready for service yet. We turned left at Regent Road. We saw Wardle Transport 3604 on the X28 service. We got to the YMCA and we got off the bus. Matthew went to the toilet and then played football for a while before getting back on the bus to return to the base. The bus headed up onto the ring road and we visited Tesco for Diesel. We headed back onto the ring road and down Lichfield street. At joiners square we crossed the A52 and went up Victoria Road. WE turned right at Manor Street and into Fenton getting back to the base. For dinner Matthew had fish fingers and chips. After dinner it was time to do the weekly shop. For the shopping trip we were going on Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We got on the bus and the bus went down City Road.We turned right and went past Fenton manor Sport centre before turning onto Victoria Road. We turned left by Macdonald and went to the supermarket. After buying the weeks food and some Coke, we got back into the bus and headed back to base. The bus went back Via Victoria Road and Tesco Longton as the bus need some diesel. WE headed on the A50 and we came off at Heron Cross. We headed though Heron Cross and onto Heron Street getting back to the base. WE put all the shopping away before getting back on the bus for the journey home. The bus went down City Road and onto the Southbound A500 in Stoke. WE went South to Sideway before joining the East bound A50. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross and we went through Blurton via Blurton Road and Beaconsfield Drive.Matthew got home around 15:00. Matthew had toast and a drink of pop and then we had to leave for a dentists appointment. We set off onto the A5035 and onto Stanley Matthews Way. We went via heron Cross and onto Heron Street. We carried on to Glebedale Road and we saw Z carz YE52 UZX before joining onto City Road. We headed down to the A52 and we went past the railway station and onto joiners Square. We turned left onto Lichfield Street. AS we joined the ring road we saw Blackfriars CN59 AEW. We got to the dentist just before 16:00. Matthew had his checkup and we got back into the car for the journey home. We went back round the ring road and onto Lichfield Street. We carried on up Victoria Road and the towards the A50. We went to Heron Cross and through Blurton via Blurton Road and Beaconsfield Drive. Matthew had a nap when he got back from the dentist. For a late tea he had potatoes and chicken. We had to wake him up for his tea and he was a little moody. He then chilled out on his computer until bedtime around 23:30... Mark

Today was Matthew last day in Respite have spent 8 nights there! Matthew got up around 07:50 and went for breakfast of toast and orange juice. His transport arrived and we took a picture of it from his bedroom window. It was dud Wardle Transport 1450.

Also in the yard was welfare bus DG02 WCO arrived in the yard. Matthew hopped on and took a picture of this inside of this bus too which was empty.

We got on Wardle Transport 1450 and sat down. The bus set off onto Dividy Road and we then passed Stoke-on-trent city council OU11 YCW. At the A52 the bus turned right towards Bucknall. We saw First Potteries 53405 on the #5 to Abbey Hulton. The bus then turned left onto Newhouse Road we got off and went into college. In the yard were 2 other buses CN59 AEW and GN53 EZT which which he also got pictures of.

After We saw Z carz S952 VMY retuning to the depot. morning lesson he had Sandwiches for dinner followed by Twix cake bar and an angel slice. After college the bus came to pick him up for his return home today. It was Wardle Transport 1450. The bus went along Newhouse road and onto the A52. They went through Bentilee via, Pennell Street, Wooliscroft Road and Twigg Street and onto Dividy Road. The bus headed aroun Longton Via Anchor Road and Commercial Street. The bus went into Lghtwood and stopped off Star and Garter Road before returning back to Dresden via Meir Road and Belgave Road. The bus then went into Newstead estate and we saw Z carz S952 VMY retuning to the depot After dropping off another client in Newstead we carried on towwards Trentham to drop another off near Jonathan Road. We then retuned to Blurton along the A5035. He got home around 16:00. He was really happy to be home and we did him some toast whilst he look at some pictures on my camera / computer. Uncle Dave had also come around to see him and we took him home just after 18:00. We went through Blurton and onto Blurton Road. We saw First Potteries 40140 on the #22 and 40024 was on the #23. In Heron Cross we saw Z carz T2 DLT and then we dropped Uncle Dave off in Fenton. We carried on own to the A500 which we did North to the A53. East bound we went to Smallthorne via Sandbach Road. After doing some stuff in Smallthorne we went to Fenton MacDonalds via Birches Head, around Hanley where we saw Wardle transport 4808. We went up Victoria Road to the drive in where Matthew had a chicken nugget meal and a plain cheeseburger. He took this home and then ate it. He then chilled out watching telly and using his computer before bedtime around 23:00...Mark

Today Matthew was going on a trip to Jacksons Nursery from college. He was in respite in Heron Cross today. He would have gotten up around 07:00 in the morning with Kerry Holdcroft and then waited for his transport to college. On the he went before to Birkenhead. we saw Wardle Transport 4776 on a X50 to Derby. On the he had been to Nantwich from Sandbach via Crewe. He would like to go to be Northampton soon. The bus came around 08:00 and we was his usual Wardle Transport 1450.

we got on would have gotten to college around 09:00. Today we Blackfriars CN59 AEW we got on we set off went to Jackson Nursery we got off. Whilst there he would have had a meal and a drink of coke followed by a cake. He then would have come back to college. Back at college we set off around 15:00 on his usual college transport and this was Wardle Transport Mercedes minibus 1450. we got On the way back we set off via Bucknall. saw Z Carz T131 SGA around Limekiln Bank. we then went along Dividy Road. On Dividy Road we saw First PMT 61243 on a #26 service. Bentilee past the Esso petrol station Adderley Green, First Aderley green garage. we saw First PMT 40779 on a service #1. to Heathcote Street,Saxonfields we got off transferred from his usual bus which outing was Wardle Transport 1450 Mercedes minibus and onto another bus which we was Wardle Transport 1623 we got on which has 16 seats. we set off liked the interior of this bus other bus. we saw First PMT 61235 on a service #1 to Hanley. we then carried on along Longley Road and King Street. In Fenton we saw Wardle Transport 2245 on a #50 service. we got off to Heron Cross Wardle Transport 1623 around 16:00. Whilst in respite picture of Wardle Transport 1626.

He then had a tea and then settled down for the evening. Matthew visited one of the neighbours house too. we saw Z Carz YJ61 GYZ outside the respite unit. He then had a bath and used the toilet. He had some toast and orange juice before bedtime...Mark
