Today we decided to re-visit Macclesfield. We checked the available bus tickets for High Peak, D&G Bus and even Bee Network should we go further afield. We also looked at places to eat and where to park. The weather was forecast for warm, mainly dry and with some sunshine. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. We got up at 10:30 and Matthew had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After getting dressed we set off around 12:00 to pick up uncle Dave. We got in the car and we set off through Blurton and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road past the former Coral shop which is new going to be flats. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued back up Wheildon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and at the roundabout we joined the Eastbound A50. We ran through Longton and into Meir. We turned left onto the A520 and right onto Woodville Road. We turned left onto Westwood Road and right onto Stansmore Road. We ran to the end and we stopped outside a cafe. We went in and ordered food. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. After we had finished eating Matthew used the toilet and we got back into the car. We set off along Stansmore Road and we turned left onto Brookwood Drive. We turned right onto the A520 and we ran through Cellarhead, and hrough Wetley Rocks. As we approached Cheddleton we saw that the van was getting ready to leave for the day. We continued North through Cheddleton and Leek Brook and into the cente of Leek. We ran forwards onto St Edwards Street and we turned left onto the A523 and we past the site of the new Tim Hortons. We continued Northwards through Rushton Spencer and into Macclesfield. On the edge of town we ran forwards onto the A536 and we followed the road to the left. We turned right onto Churchill Way and we turned right onto Stanley Street and we parked jup in the multi-storey car park. We bought a ticket and we said goodbye to mum before setting off down the stairs and onto Stanley Street. We turned left onto Churchill Way and left onto Castle Street. We turned right onto Mill Street ans we headed towards the bus station. On the way we stopped to look at the Ian Curtis mural on the side of the Express Mini Market. We stood in the viewing area and Matthew got a picture of High Peak 294 which was parked up in the bus station.

We walked into the bus station and we looked for a bus we could catch. There were only 2 buses in service in the bus station. As we got closer to one of them we saw it was D&G Bus 6015 on a #38 to Crewe,

We got on the bus and we bought D&G Network Day tickets at £6.90 each before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and we turned left onto Mill Street. We ran forwards onto Park Green and we turned left onto the A536. We ran past Macclesfield college and we follwed the A536 to the left. We ran out of town through Gawsworth and Eaton. We ran to the edge of town and we joined the Southbound A34. We ran down the hill and we turned left onto the A54. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 6015 before it continued towards Crewe.

Once off the bus we throught about what we might do next. There were a couple of buses on layover. We saw D&G Bus 795 on layover in between runs on the #94 to Newcastle.

We decided that we would do the #42 when it was due off at 15:00. We saw it was D&G Bus 504 on a #42 to Crewe.

Whilst we waited for it to be readied for service, we walked into town to go to the pub. We set off along the A54 and we turned right onto Kinsey Street. We turned right onto Market Square and we walked past the Congleton Museum. We crossed over the High Street and we went to the pub. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we went to the bar and Matthew had a small glass of Coke. When we had finished we crossed over High Street and we went forwards onto Market Square. On the way back we found a short cut. We walked down the side of the library and down a walkway into the bus station. Whilst we waited for our bus to be readied for service. we sat down on a bench. A few minutes later we saw D&G Bus 5014 on a town circular service.

A few minutes later D&G Bus 504 pulled onto the stand. We got on the bus and we placed the D&G Bus Network Day ticket under the scanner. The bus was empty, so Matthew took a picture inside D&G Bus 504 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

We set off out of the bus station and we turned left onto the A54. We turned left onto Mill Street and we continued onto Swan Bank. We turned right onto West Street. We ran forwards onto the A34 and we crossed the roundabout onto the A54. We ran out of town throught Somerton and Brereton Heath and into Holmes Chapel. There was a diversion and due to roadworks we did not call at every stop in town. We ran out of town and we crossed over the M6 at junction 18. We ran through Sproston Green and at the edge of Middlewich we turned right onto Centurion Way. We turned left onto King Street ans we headed Southwards towards the centre of Middlewich. We turned right to re-join the A54 and we crossed over the canal before turning left onto the A533 where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus, Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 504 as it continued towards Crewe.

We got off the bus and we saw D&G Bus 33 on a #42 to Congleton. We decided to check out the canal. We went under the A54, and we turned around again because we walked along the canal to the next stop. We walked past 3 locks and up to the next road bridge where we left the canal and walked onto the A533. We had about 10 minutes to wait for a bus towards Sandbach. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 574 on a #37 to Crewe.

We got on the bus and we placed the D&G Bus Network Day ticket under the scanner before we set down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the A533 and we headed Southwards. We turned right onto Long Lane South and right onto Warmingham Lane. We ran through the estate and we turned left Cross Lane. We turned right and we re-joined the Southbound A533. We ran alongside of the canal and into Sandbach through Elworth. We turned left Hightown and at the next roundabout we ran forwards on Congleton Road. We turned right onto The Commons and we ran onto the other side of the triangle where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus, Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 574 as it continued towards Crewe.

Once off the bus we headed into the shop and we bought a bottle of Coke and a couple of chocolate bars. Matthew indicated that he needed the toilet so we headed to the toilet by the market. We headed back to the bus stop and we saw D&G Bus 3011 on a #317 to Alsager.

We waited for the bus towards Northwich. A short time we saw the bus appear on the other side of the common. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 56 on a #37 to Northwich.

We got on the bus and we placed the D&G Bus Network Day ticket under the scanner before we set down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the common and we joined the Northbound A533. We ran out of town past the railway station towards Elworth. We turned left onto Cross Lane and right onto Warmingham Lane. We ran through the estate and we turned right Long Lane South. We turned right and we re-joined the Northbound A533. We ran alongside the canal and into Middlewich. We got up and got off the bus. We had just over 10 minutes for the bus back South, so we crossed the road and we headed into the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwadrs Matthew had a small glass of Coke. After we had finished we went outside to catch the bus. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 576 on a #37 to Crewe.

We got on the bus and we placed the D&G Bus Network Day ticket under the scanner before we set down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the A533 and we headed Southwards. On the other side of the common our next bus was already at the stop. As we got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 6014 on a #38 to Macclesfield.

We got on the bus and we placed the D&G Bus Network Day ticket under the scanner for the final time today before we set down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the Common onto Congleton Road. We joined the A534 and past the site of the new development by the M6. We continued along the A534 and we crossed over the M6 and into Arclid. We carried on through Medhurst Green and we crossed over the Wall Hill roundabouts. On the edge of Congleton we joined the A34 and we ran East along the road for a short while before going onto West Street. We entered town along Antrobus Street, Mill Street and Mountbatten Way. We turned right into Market Street, past the Bear Grills cafe and into the bus station. After a short wait we got back onto the A54 and we headed Westwards. We turned right onto the Northbound A34 and at the edge of town we turned right onto the A536. We ran through Eaton and Gawsworth and into Macclesfield. We continued along A536 and we ran into Sutherland Street. We turned left into Waters Green and Queen Victoria Street. When we got to the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we headed out of the bus station. Matthew got another picture of D&G Bus 6014 before working a #38 to Crewe.

We set off on foot to go and meet up with mum. We turned right onto Mill Street and right onto Queen Victoria Street. We continued onto Waters Green and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we headed to the bar. Matthew had a small glass of Coke. After we had finished we met up with uncle Dave and we continued on foot towards mum. We continued along Waters Green and we walked forwards onto Gas Road. We went under the A523 and we walked along a footpath next to the River Bollin. We crossed the B5470 and we headed into the car park at Tesco. We met up with mum and we got in the car. Matthew had a sausage roll and a can of Cherry Coke. We set off out of the car park onto Black Lane and we turned right onto the B5470. We turned left and we headed Southwards down the A523. We turned right onto the A536 and we turned left to follow the A536 out of town. We ran past Macclefield College and we turned left to continue following the A536. We ran through Gawsworth and Rodeheath and through Eaton. As we approached Lower Heath we went past the chip shop we suposed to stop at! We turned around at Giantswood Lane to go back to the chip shop. Whilst waiting to get back onto the A536 we saw grey minicoach JA58 BUS and white coach YH67 XSM. We stopped at the chip shop and I went inside to get food. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy and we also bought a can of Dandelion & Burdock for later on. When I had finished eating we set off onto the A536 and we joined the Southbound A34. We ran down into the valley and we turned right onto the A534. We continued through Medhurst Green and Arclid. As we approached the M6 we passed D&G Bus 135 on #38 to Congleton. We joined the Southbound M6 and as we travelled through Cheshire we saw an unidentified Anthony Travel and an unidentified white green and blue double decker (Kaz's Crusaders?). We came off the M6 at junction 16 and we joined the Southbound A500 through Longport and Etruria into Stoke. We came off the A500 and we diverted onto Whieldon Road past the old Board Products factory which is being converted into a new soft play place. We dropped off uncle Dave and Matthew got out to use the toilet. He also had some of uncle Rob's Fanta. We updated uncle daves calendar to show recent activity. Once we had dropped off uncle Dave we set off onto Wheildon Road and past the former Regent pub which is now up for sale. We ran forwards onto Grove Road and we saw green minibus R482 NDM parked up. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we got back to Blurton around 19:40. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we did some of the Blog. We also wrote a few emails and generally used the computer to entertain ourselves. We watched Youtube and we got ready for bed. Matthew settled down around 00:30... Mark

Trip to Congleton / Newcastle 04-02-2026

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to Belper he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to Belper and we saw First Potteries 67155 on a #11 to Hanley. After tea Matthew went for a walk to Aldi to get some shopping. We set off onto City Road and we crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we went down the hill to Aldi. Matthew brought his shopping and then we got a lucky Seven taxi back to the residential unit. We set off onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we ran across the roundabout onto Lichfield Street and we joined the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Waterloo Road and we ran through Cobridge. We continued through to Burslem onto Scotia Road and forwards onto the Tunstall by-pass. We ran past the police station onto the top end of Tunstall High Street. We continued through Goldenhill and down the hill to Kidsgrove. We continued under the railway line and over the A34. We followed the A50 to the right and we ran Northwards to Arclid. We turned right onto the A534 and we ran forwards into Congleton town centre. we stopped at the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. For dinner Matthew had a Fried buttermilk chicken burger with fries followed by cheesecake. When it was time to go back we set off Westwards out of town and onto the A34. We turned around and went back into town and we joined the Southbound A527. We travelled back down the road around Biddulph and through Brindley Ford. We ran up the hill to Chell and we turned left onto High Lane. We ran into through Smallthorne and we ran through Sneyd Green and Birches Head. We followed the road to the left down the hill through Northwood and onto Limekiln Bank. We joined the A52 and we ran to Joiners square where we turned left onto Victoria Road. and we ran up to the top of the hill. We turned sharp right onto City Road and we ran down to Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window whilst he waited for us to take him out for tea. Later on Matthew went downstairs to do his shopping. We went to do the shopping. transport for the trip was a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off onto City Road and we crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of Manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we continued down Victoria Road and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew went to the toilet and had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. We got an ABC Supreme taxi back to the residential unit. We set off up Victoria Road. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we and we cut through onto City Road. We walked to the bus stop by the flats. Across the road we saw Afford rent-a-car FE25 XHB parked up at the garage.

We got to the stand and we saw it was D&G Bus 6010 on a #1 to Park Site.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw ERS Medical FJ22 FUT. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station onto Barracks Road. At the roundabout we went left onto the A52 and we veered left onto Merrial Street. We turned right onto the A34. We continued onto Knutton lane and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off along Knutton Lane and we turned right onto Dunkirk and we turned right onto Poolside and we arrived at Our Space. Matthew went to the toilet. Matthew went inside and had some twirl chocolate bar and a can of Coke. He also spent time in the soft play area. We watch buses out of the window we saw Priory Adult Care MT25 UJW. When we had finished we said goodbye and we returned to Fenton in a taxi. We set off onto Stanier Street. When we returned to Fenton in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off along Stanier Street and we turned left onto Pool Side. We turned left onto Dunkirk and we turned right onto Knutton Lane. We around the roundabout and back onto the Ryecroft and we ran forwards onto the one-way system. We continued onto the A52 and we ran into Hartshill. We veered left onto Shelton New Road and we stopped briefly near to the old Gilberts furniture shop. We continued down Shelton New Road through the traffic lights and we turned right to join the Southbound A500. We stayed on the high level road and we came off the A500 at City Road. We ran under the railway line and up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and Matthew went to his room. He watched television and used his computer. later on he had a bath. For supper Matthew had some toast. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to Belper he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to Belper and we saw Holmeswood BV69 KSO. After tea Matthew went for a walk to Aldi to get some shopping. We set off onto City Road and we crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we went down the hill to Aldi. Matthew brought his shopping and then we got a lucky Seven taxi back to the residential unit. We set off onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we ran across the roundabout onto Lichfield Street and we joined the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Waterloo Road and we ran through Cobridge. We continued through to Burslem onto Scotia Road and forwards onto the Tunstall by-pass. We ran past the police station onto the top end of Tunstall High Street. We continued through Goldenhill and down the hill to Kidsgrove. We continued under the railway line and over the A34. We followed the A50 to the right and we ran Northwards to Arclid. We turned right onto the A534 and we ran forwards into Congleton town centre. we stopped at the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. For dinner Matthew had a mixed grill washed down with a glass of Coke. For afters Matthew had a slice of chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. When it was time to go back we set off Westwards out of town and onto the A34. We turned around and went back into town and we joined the Southbound A527. We travelled back down the road around Biddulph and through Brindley Ford. We ran up the hill to Chell and we turned left onto High Lane. We ran into through Smallthorne and we ran through Sneyd Green and Birches Head. We followed the road to the left down the hill through Northwood and onto Limekiln Bank. We joined the A52 and we ran to Joiners square where we turned left onto Victoria Road. and we ran up to the top of the hill. We turned sharp right onto City Road and we ran down to Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window whilst he waited for us to take him out for tea. We saw Copeland's Tours MIB 116. Before tea We went downstairs out for a walk to fetch his tea. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. We waited for a bus to Hanley. We stood at the bus stop and we waited for a first but to Hanley. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and and turned right onto College Road and. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street. We ran up the hill into the bus station and onto stand. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once of the bus Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we went across Lichfield Street and we saw they were setting up Winter Wonderland, At the near end of the site was a Helter Skelter. We continued along Tontine Street. We continued onto Tontine Square and we visited the Card Factory. After we had finished we walked across Tontine Square onto Parliament Row. We stopped at Poundland and Matthew brought a bottle of Coke. We walked along Parliament Row and we walked up McDonalds and we had dinner. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Once We walked along Parliament Row and we walked onto Old Hall Street. We walked up Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw a bus turn around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We then walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. Matthew returned to his room to chill out. Later on Matthew went out for a Newfriars College. We went downstairs and we got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed over City Road onto Manor Street and we ran to the end. We turned left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A52. We ran to Limekiln light and we turned right to follow the A52. We ran into Bucknall and we turned left onto Newhouse Road. We ran to the end and we stopped at the college. Matthew went to the toilet and returned to Fenton by car. We set off onto Newhouse Road and we turned right onto the A52. We followed the the A52 to the left and we headed up to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout and we headed towards Stoke. We passed near to the railway station and we ran along side the railway line. We turned left onto City Road and we headed up into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room. He watched television and used his computer. later on he had a bath. For supper Matthew had some toast. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark

We followed the road to the left down the hill through Northwood and onto Limekiln Bank. We joined the A52 and we ran to Joiners square where we turned left onto Victoria Road. and we ran up to the top of the hill. We turned sharp right onto City Road and we ran down to Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. Later on we went out on the bus to Newcastle. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. We stood at the bus stop outside the flats and we waited for a bus to Newcastle. As we walked to the bus stop we saw Afford rent-a-car HD24 DXG parked up in their garage.

A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63360 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We walked out of the bus station onto Castle Walk and we visited Poundland. When we had finished shopping we walked up Castle Walk and we turned right onto Ironmarket past the old RBS bank which has now The Bank Space. We turned left onto High Street and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Once we had finished we walked down High Street and we walked onto Hassell Street and we continued onwards to the bus station. Eventually the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67142 on a #39 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down near to the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee Roundabout and onto the A53. We ran into Basford and over the A500. We ran down into Etruria and over the A500. We continued along the A53 and we turned left onto Forge Lane. We ran out along the Lane and we crossed over the canal before we returned back into Etruria along festival Way. We crossed under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We ran up the hill into Hanley and we ran forwards onto Trinity Street. We turned right onto Stafford Street and we ran forwards onto Albion Street. We continued onto Bagnall Street and we entered the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walkd down to the bottom of the bus station. Matthew used the toilet and we walked up Lichfield Street and we past the convenience store. We set off back towards the bus station. Matthew went to the toilet. We waited for a bus to Bentilee. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67145 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton and before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off through the bus station. and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and left onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned left onto Copeland Street. We continued forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the road around onto Church Street. We crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over city Road and walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went back upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. It was also Trina's birthday today. Matthew went downstairs and they had a party for one of the staff. Matthew had a egg sandwiches and had a glass of Irn Bru and some birthday cake. Latter on Matthew went upstairs to his room. He used his computer and watched buses out of the window. Matthew went back upstairs and had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to Belper he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to Belper and we saw First Potteries 63364 on a #11 to Hanley. After tea Matthew went for a walk to Aldi to get some shopping. We set off onto City Road and we crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we went down the hill to Aldi. Matthew brought his shopping and then we got a lucky Seven taxi back to the residential unit. We set off onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we ran across the roundabout onto Lichfield Street and we joined the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Waterloo Road and we ran through Cobridge. We continued through to Burslem onto Scotia Road and forwards onto the Tunstall by-pass. We ran past the police station onto the top end of Tunstall High Street. We continued through Goldenhill and down the hill to Kidsgrove. We continued under the railway line and over the A34. We followed the A50 to the right and we ran Northwards to Arclid. We turned right onto the A534 and we ran forwards into Congleton town centre. we stopped at the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. For dinner Matthew had a Fried buttermilk chicken burger with fries followed by cheesecake. When it was time to go back we set off Westwards out of town and onto the A34. We turned around and went back into town and we joined the Southbound A527. We travelled back down the road around Biddulph and through Brindley Ford. We ran up the hill to Chell and we turned left onto High Lane. We ran into through Smallthorne and we ran through Sneyd Green and Birches Head. We followed the road to the left down the hill through Northwood and onto Limekiln Bank. We got on bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over city Road and walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went back upstairs and Matthew chilled out in his room. Before tea We went downstairs out for a walk to fetch his tea. we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We ordered sausages and chips gravy and then we walked back along Smithpool Road and onto and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. Matthew went into the living room to have tea. Matthew ate his sausages and chips gravy followed by a Butterfly cake. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Newcastle. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 6009 on a #1A to Wood Lane.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw Safeguard WA69 BYU. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off onto Castle walk and we past the former Poundland. We continued down Castle Walk and up onto Ironmarket past the old RBS bank which has now The Bank Space. We turned left onto High Street and we crossed over and we went to the cinema. Matthew had a cup of Coke. He went to the cinema to watch A Snow White. After the film Matthew went to the toilet. We walked out of the cinema onto the High Street and we walked onto Hassell Street. We got a Lucky Seven taxi back to Fenton. We set off onto Friars Street. We turned right onto the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto the A527. We ran past the bus station and we crossed over the roundabout onto the A52 and we ran into Hartshill. We veered left onto Shelton New Road and we stopped briefly near to the old Gilberts furniture shop. We continued down Shelton New Road through the traffic lights and we turned right to join the Southbound A500. We stayed on the high level road and we came off the A500 at City Road. We ran under the railway line and up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and Matthew went to his room. He watched television and used his computer. later on he had a bath. For supper Matthew had some toast. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. After tea Matthew went for a walk to Aldi to get some shopping. We set off onto City Road and we crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we went down the hill to Aldi. Matthew brought his shopping and then we got a lucky Seven taxi back to the residential unit. We set off onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we ran across the roundabout onto Lichfield Street and we joined the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Waterloo Road and we ran through Cobridge. We continued through to Burslem onto Scotia Road and forwards onto the Tunstall by-pass. We ran past the police station onto the top end of Tunstall High Street. We continued through Goldenhill and down the hill to Kidsgrove. We continued under the railway line and over the A34. We followed the A50 to the right and we ran Northwards to Arclid. We turned right onto the A534 and we ran forwards into Congleton town centre. we stopped at the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. For dinner Matthew had a mixed grill washed down with a glass of Coke. For afters Matthew had a slice of chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. When it was time to go back we set off Westwards out of town and onto the A34. We turned around and went back into town and we joined the Southbound A527. We travelled back down the road around Biddulph and through Brindley Ford. We ran up the hill to Chell and we turned left onto High Lane. We ran into through Smallthorne and we ran through Sneyd Green and Birches Head. We followed the road to the left down the hill through Northwood and onto Limekiln Bank. We joined the A52 and we ran to Joiners square where we turned left onto Victoria Road. and we ran up to the top of the hill. We turned sharp right onto City Road and we ran down to Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window whilst he waited for us to take him out for tea. We saw Copeland's Tours MIB 904. Before tea We went downstairs out for a walk to fetch his tea. we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We ordered sausages and chips gravy and then we walked back along Smithpool Road and onto and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. Matthew went into the living room to have tea. Matthew ate his sausages and chips gravy followed by a Butterfly cake. We went downstairs and we set off on foot to the bus stop on City Road to wait a bus to Hanley. On the way we saw D&G Bus 170 on a #1 to Meir.

A short time later we saw First Potteries 67147 on a #11 to Newcastle. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67143 on a #23 to Hanley.

After crossing over the A500 we ran into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We turned right onto Shelton Old Road. We ran forwards onto Stoke Road. We ran under the railway line and up through Shelton. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew visited the toilet. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67148 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights. we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 33565 parked in the garage. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC and we got up and got off at the Travers Court bus stop outside the block of flats. Once off the bus we walked onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to use his computer and watch buses. He also ate the a bottle of Coke and a toffee Crisp. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the the grounds. As we travelled through the hospital we saw ABC Supreme YA67 VBC & ERS Medical FJ22 FSF. We turned left onto Hilton Road. We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and onto Christchurch Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. Once we were ready we went downstairs and out of the unit. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto City Road past the new sheltered housing complex. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 and ran under the railway line. After crossing over the A500 we ran into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We followed the one-way system around onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland Street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we ran under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. After stopping briefly outside the railway station we turned right onto College Road and We turned left onto Avenue Road and we turned right onto Snow Hill. We turned left and ran up Broad Street. We turned right onto the ring road and left onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we ran up to the bus station. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 67157 as it continued towards Trentham.

Once off the bus we set off up Lichfield Street. We turned righ onto Old Hall Street anbd we went into B&M. Matthew did some shopping and we crossed over the road onto Old Hall Street past the site of the old bus station which has now been almost completely demolished. We turned the corner onto and we walked up McDonalds and we had tea. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Once We walked along Parliament Row and we walked across Market Square and visited Primark and Matthew bought some clothes for his upcoming trip to South Wales. When we had finished we walked across the square and along Tontine Street. We continued onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards waited for a taxi back to Fenton. A short time later the bus appeared. We saw it was First Potteries 63345 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We walked up Castle Hill Road and we right onto Stanier Street. We got out of the taxi and we saw grey minibus YJ73 AKH. When we got into the building Matthew went to the toilet. He also spent time in the soft play area. We watch buses out of the window we saw Priory Adult Care EJ21 RNU. When we had finished we said goodbye and we returned to Fenton in a taxi. We set off onto Stanier Street. When we returned to Fenton in a Intercity taxi. We set off along Stanier Road and we turned left onto Pool Side. We turned left onto Dunkirk and we turned right onto Knutton Lane. We around the roundabout and back onto the Ryecroft and we ran forwards onto the one-way system. We continued onto the A52 and we ran into Hartshill. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned left onto Shelton Old Road and we joined the Southbound A500. We ran up to the next junction we turned left onto City Road and right into Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
