Today we decided to re-visit Bury. We gave Matthew a choice of where to go on Friday night and from the map he chose to go to Bury. Research for the trip consisted of looking at where we parked and where we ate for the last trip, and to check the weather. The weather for the weekend was warm, cloudy with some rain. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 10:15 and had crumpets and a can of orange Fanta. After getting ready we set off around 11:30. We set off through Blurton onto Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road and we went through the road works and up the hill to Heron Cross. We crossed over the A50 and we turned left at the traffic lights onto Grove Road. We continued onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Afterwards we set off down Wheildon Road and forwards onto the A500. We turned left onto Church Street and we ran around the one-way system. We turned left onto London Road and we stopped at Sainsbury's to get petrol. After filling up we went to pick up our friend. We turned right onto London Road and we ran forwards onto Campbell Place and left onto Hartshill Road. We ran to the edge of Newcastle and we ran down George Street. We turned left onto Ryecroft and stopped to pick up our friend. After we picked him up We along Ryecroft we ran forwards onto Barracks Road onto the Northbound A34 and we ran north through Cross Heath up to Crackley and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. He had burger and fries. When we had finished we set off towards Bury. We set off onto the A34 and we joined the Northbound A500. We passed Prospect PR22 LEO. We went around the roundabout and we joined the Northbound M6, Traveling up the M6 we saw an unidentified white coach, D&G Bus 30(#42) and Flixbus liveried Loch Lomond Travel YG25 FFA which came past us.

At junction 21A we headed Eastwards along the M62. Traveling up the M62 we saw white minibus BV23 RMX and taxi minibus MD17 BYF. We ran forwards onto the clockwise M60 and we saw an unindentified white minibus. We joined the Northbound M66 and we came off onto the A58. We ran Westwards into town and past the market. We turned right into Haymarket Street and left onto Moss Street. We parked up on Manchester Road and we said goodbye to mum. WE walked along Moss Street and we crossed over the road into the Interchange. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we had a look around to see what we might catch. We saw Go North West 3021 on a #524 to Bolton.

We decided to wait for a #135 and head towards Cheetham Hill, as we were aware of an event going on at the bus museum. A short time later we saw a bus approaching the stand. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach Manchester 11513 on a #135 to Manchester.

We got on the bus and we booked a Bee Network bus only day ticket at £5 before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the Interchnage and we turned left onto Haymarket Street. We crossed over the A58 onto Knowsley Street before joining Manchester Road and running Southwards past Gigg Lane. We crossed the river Roch and we climbed the hill up towards Whitefield. At Besses O' The barn we deviated left onto Bury Old Road and we went under the tramway and over the M60 at the same point. We continued south along bury Old Road and we skirted the Western side of Heaton Park. There was a diversion in place, so we turned left onto the A6044. We turned right onto the A576 and we headed Southwards past Bowker Vale tram stop. We turned right onto the A665 and we ran through Cheethanm Hill. We continued along the A665 for a further mile or so and after the shops we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach Manchester 11513 as it continued towards Manchester.

Once off the bus we looked on the map to see whee the museum was. We headed up the road Northwards and we saw Stagecoach Manchester 11508 running empty back to the depot.

We turned right onto Smedley Street and at the end of the road we could see the imposing wall of the museum. We turned left and headed towards the collection of buses parked outside of the museum. We arrived at the entrance / turning circle and we saw preserved Ribble 811 parked up by the museum.

We knew there were a few shuttle services to and from Manchester Shudehill and also a shuttle to Salford museum and art gallery. We spotted a bus that was loading outside the museum. As we got closer we saw it was Bolton Transport 77 on the shuttle service to Manchester Shudehill.

We got on the bus and we confirmed with the conductor that it was going to Manchester, before we went upstairs and sat down. We sat off down Boyle Street past the Stagecoach Manchester bus garage and we turned left onto the A6010. We ran past the Queens Road tram stop and we turned right onto the A664. We ran through Colyhurst and into Manchester city centre. We turned right onto Ring Road and we turned left onto Corporation Street. We turned left onto Withy Grove and we ran forwards onto Shudehill. We ran past the end of the Interchnage before turning left into the Interchange. The bus stopped and we got up got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took a picture of Bolton Transport 77 before it returned to the museum on a shuttle service.

Also seen was Go North West 2013, which was on layover in between runs on #8 to Bolton.

Once off the bus we headed into the Interchange shop and we bought drinks, a chocolate bar and a flapjack. We came out of the shopp and Matthew took us out of the Interchnage, past the tram stop and onto Dantzic Street. We went into the pub and we went upstairs to the toilet. After using the toilet we came downstairs and went to the bar. Matthew had a small glass of Coke. We sat at a table and Matthew had his glass of Coke. When we had finished we headed out onto Dantzic Street and past the tram stop into the Interchange. As we got into the Interchange we saw Go North West 3439 on a #8 to Bolton.

We decided that we were going to head back towards Prestwich, as we were not sure if there was another shuttle back to the museum. We waited at stand L, and whilst we waited we took a few more bus pictures. We saw Flixbus liveried Belle Vue coach YG25 FEP on a #023 to London.

Whilst we were waiting we saw GMPTE 5871 arrive at the other side of the Interchange. A couple of Enthusiasts turned up with camera and I got chatting to them. They said there were people still on the bus so it was going back to the museum. We waited for the bus to come around and as it got closer we saw it was GMPTE 5871 as expected on a shuttle service to the museum.

We got on the bus and we sat downstairs. The bus set off out of the Interchange and we turned left onto the A664. We ran Northwards and we turned left onto the A6010. We ran past the Queens Road tram stop and we turned right onto Boyle Street. The bus pulled up in the turning circle and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of GMPTE 5871 before it returned into the museum.

As it was the end of the day they were shunting the buses back into the museum, We saw Leigh Corporation 15 parked up outside.

We walked down Boyle Street and we turned right onto Smedley Street. We turned right onto A665 and we crossed over the road. We walked to the bus stop and we waited for a bus back Northwards. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach Manchester 11844 on a #135 to Bury.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Bee Network Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the rear section on the bus. The bus set off Northward up the A665 and we ran through Cheetham hill. We continued onto Bury Old Road and past Heaton Park into Pretwich where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus, we decided to just have something out of the trip and wait for the next bus. Matthew had a flapjack. Whilst we waited for the bus we saw Stagecoach Manchester 11856 on a #135 to Manchester.

A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer, we saw it was Stagecoach Manchester 11876 on a #135 to Bury.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Bee Network Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the rear section on the bus. The bus set off Northward up the A665 and we crossed the M60 and went past Besses O'th Barn tram stop and onto the A56. We ran past the A6053 and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach Manchester 11876 as it continued towards Bury.

Once off the bus we had a quick look at the old petrol station and we looked to see if there was another bus nearby. We spotted a bus just around the corner. A short while later we saw a bus come around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was Go North West 3021 on a #524 to Bury.

We got on the bus and we we flashed the System One bus only day tickets to the driver for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off Northwards up the A56. We ran for about a mile before we veered right on to Knowsley Street. We crossed over the A58 and we ran forwards onto Haymarket Street before turning right into the Interchange where we got up and got off the bus. We went took a few pictures before we went to find mum. We saw First Manchester 69624 on a #468 to Rochdale.

We set off onto Haymarket Street and we turned left onto Moss Street and right onto Silver Street. We got in the car and Matthew had a sausage roll and a Manchester Tart. We set off along Silver Street and we turned left onto Bolton Street. We turned left onto the A58 and we ran forwards onto the Southbound A56. We ran through Redvales and we stopped at the chip shop. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy and he also had a can of dandelion & burdock for later. When I had finished eating we got back onto the A56 and we headed Southwards. At the roundabout we turned right and joined the anti-clockwise M60. We ran forwards onto the M62 and we were passed by Jones AP19 ALP on a return day trip from york.

Traveling up the M62 we saw an unidentified Bus King coach. We joined the M6 at Junction 20 and we headed Southwards. Seen on the M6 we were passed by Alfa A156. We came off the M6 at junction 16 and we ran though Longport and we came off at Etruria and onto the Westbound A53. We ran into Newcastle and around the one way system. We crossed the Jubilee roundabout onto Ryecroft and we stopped to dop off our friend. Matthew went up to the flat to use the toilet. We got back in the car and we set off towards uncle Dave's. We turned right onto Ryecroft and we turned right onto Barracks Road. We joined the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto The Avenue. We turned right onto the A52 and we went past the former pub which is becoming a shop and flats. We ran into Stoke and onto the one-way system. We turned left onto Liverpool Road and right onto Eleanor Street. We turned right onto Copeland Street and right onto Glebe Street. We followed the road around to the left onto Church Street and we crossed over the A500. We turned right onto the A500 and we veered left onto Wheildon Road. We dropped off uncle Dave and we continued back home. We set off onto Wheildon Road and past the former Regent pub. We ran forwards onto Grove Road and we saw green minibus R482 NDM parked up. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we got back around 20:00. When got back Matthew had his medication and we worked on the Blog. Matthew had a Genoise cake and a can of Dr Pepper. Today Matthew was going out on the bus, he was also starting a short break in East Anglia. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. For breakfast Matthew had crumpets. Later on Matthew went out in a taxi. We went downstairs and we got in the taxi. We set off along Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto City Road and we turned right onto the A52. We ran past the railway station and we turned left onto Cauldon Road. We turned right onto Boughey Road and right onto Ridgeway Road. When we arrived we got out of the taxi and we headed to the toilet. Afterwards Matthew went to the playground and spent some time there. When e had finished we walked into Hanley. We set off out of the park on Regent Road. We crossed over Lichfield Street and we went to the chip shop. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we walked back to the bus station. We crossed over the ring road and crossed over Lichfield Street and into the bus station. In the bus station we saw Stanton's of Stoke BF67 WGO on the free shuttle service to Smallthorne. Matthew went to the shop and bought a choclate bar. Matthew ate his chocolate bar whilst he waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short time later we saw a bus come on stand. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63118 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton we sat down. We set off up set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 44514 parked in the garage. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. We turned left onto Market Street and right onto Commerce Street past the former Co-op Bank. We went arounf the roundabout and turned right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC and we got up and got off. We walked down City Road and we turned right onto onto Glebedale Road and we walked along Baker Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street. We returned onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. When Matthew got back we went upstairs and went up to his room to chill out and use the computer. Matthew also watched buses out of the window. Matthew did a coffee morning and had some cake. Later on around 13:00 I came to pick Matthew up. Matthew came downstairs and got in the car. We set off along Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill into Stoke. We ran forwards onto the A52 and we crossed over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and we ran around the one-way syaytem in Stoke. We rejoined Church Street and we continued up Hartshill Road past the former pub which is now a new shop. We turned left onto The Avenue and right onto Parkstone Avenue. We turned left onto Occupation Street and we stopped to visit Grandma's. Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. After an hour or so we said our goodbye's and we set off to pick up uncle Dave. We set off onto Victoria Street. We joined the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto The Avenue. At the end we turned right onto Hartshill Road. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500. We turned right onto the A500. We veered left into Fenton to pick up uncle Dave. We picked up uncle Dave and set off along Whieldon Road. We continued onto Grove Road and we turned right onto Blurton Road. We joined the Eastbound A50 and we ran through Longton and Meir. We continued along the A50 towards Uttoxeter and just after Uttoxeter we saw Rotala Diamond 30973 on a #401 to Uttoxeter. We joined the Southbound M1 and as we travelled Southwards we saw Flixbus 420 on a #004 to London.

We ran down to junction and we joined the Eastbound A14. We ran quite fast until junction 16 where we hit traffic. Whilst in the traffic Matthew had a cream cake and half a corned beef pastie. After junction 20 we got going faster again but by this time we needed a break. We came off the A14 and we to Brampton Hut services. Matthew uased the toilet and we bought a can of Coke and a chocolate bar. We got back in the car and we joined the Southbound A1(M) before rejoining the A14. we continued for another 20 miles os so and we joined the Northbound A11. It was now going dark We ran near to Thetford and Attleborough and we joined the A47. We ran to the South of Norwich and at Acle we took a diversion along the A1064 as the Eastbound A47 is currently shut. We ran to caister and we joined the A149. We turned left onto Jack Chase Way and we ran forwards onto Scratby Road. We turned right onto Beach Road and we stopped at the caravan park. We picked up the keys and we headed to the chalet. We unloaded the car and we did some of the Blog. Matthew had a ham sandwich and a pork pie washed down with a can of Cherry Coke. We chilled out in the chalet and Matthew went to bed around 00:00.... Today we decided to re-visit Bradford for the weekend. This was the first weekend away of thr year. We did no research other than to check the weather which was for a cold grey day with some rain. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast and apple juice for breakfast. We set off just before 12:00 through Blurton and onto Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Northbound A500. As we headeded Northwards we saw TNS YN66 WTA, Ellisons YT72 GOP, Lucky Seven SJ18 OZO, Thandi L6 BMS, Ashcroft's K14 PSV, S.A.S Travel HL19 RCF and taxi minibus SF66 FHS. We headed to junction 16 and we joined the Northbound M6. Seen on the M6 were an unidentified Hamish Gordon coach, grey minibus DK22 ODP, Selwyns (NX) BX16 CKF(#121) & Llew Jones LJ72 ???. We travelled up to Junction 21A and we joined the Eastbound M62. We ran forwards onto the M60 around the North side of Manchester before continuing along the M62. At junction 26 we joined the Northbound M606. We came off the M606 t junction 2 ans we turned right onto Merrydale Road, We turned left onto Wharfdale Road. We turned right onto Rockhill Lane and left onto Bierley Lane. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A6177 and left onto the A650. We ran into the city centre and we turned left onto Croft Street. We continued onto Senior Way and we turned right onto Little Horton Lane. We ran forwards onto the A6181 and we followed the road to the left. We turned right onto Barry Street and left onto Westgate. We missed our tirn so we ran uo to a roundnabout before coming back and turning right onto Godwin Street. We turned left onto Bridge Street and we stopped at a parking space and put on a parking ticket. When we had parked up we walked down Bridge Street and we walkd around the town hall before coming back around to Cenrenary Square and the pub. We went into Wetherspoons and we went upstairs to the toilet. We came back down and sat with uncle Dave. Matthew had a burger and chips washed down with a glass of Coke. When we had finished eating we said goodbye to um and we went out to catch a bus. We walked back onto Bridge Street and we saw First West Yorkshire 37504 on a #617 to Allerton.

We crossed the road and we saw a bus pull up on the stop in front of us. We saw it was First West Yorkshire 37078 on a #641 to Buttershaw.

We got on the bus and we bough WY day tickets at £4.50 each before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off along Bridge street and we turned right into Hall Ings. We turned left onto Nelson Street and we saw Flixbus FX42 parked up. We turned right onto Croft Street and we ran forwards onto Senior Way, We turned left onto Little Horton Lane and we ran out of town. We continued onto Saint Enoch's Road and we ran forwards onto Wibsey Park Avenue. We veered right onto Reevy Road and forwards onto Reevy Road West. We ran through Buttershaw and just before the end of the road the bus terminated, so we got up and got off the bus. We got off the bus and Matthew took another picture of First West Yorkshire 37078 before it returned North on a #640 to Fine Lane Ends.

We looked to see which bus was going back towards Bradford first and it was the #645 service. We crossed over Coopers Lane and we waited for the bus. Whilst we waited we saw Horizon Healthcare Homes LT63 VVU go past.

A short time later the bus came around the roundabout and onto the stop. As expected we saw it was First West Yorkshire 69315. We placed the WY day ticket on the scanner. As the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside of First West Yorkshire 69315 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

The bus set off Northwards up Cooper Lane. We turned right onto Mandale Road and right onto the B6380. We crossed the roundabout in Wibsey Fair Road. We ran forwards onto High Street and we ran forwards onto Odsall Road. At Odsall Top we turned left onto the A641. We ran along the busway and back onto the road and along the busway again before running into town. We crossed over Croft Street and we turned right onto the A6181. We pulled up at the small Hall Ings bus station and we got up and got off the bus. QWe waited for the next bus at the stop which was a #640 to Five Lane Ends. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it go closer we saw it was First West Yorkshire 35216 on a #641 to Five Lane Ends.

We got on the bus and we placed the WY day ticket under the scanner before we went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off along Hall Ings and we turned left onto Bridge Street. We turned right onto Market Street as we travelled along we passed Transdev 215 on a A2 Airport Flyer. We ran forwards onto Lower Kirkgate. We turned left onto Bolton Road and we ran up the hill and out of town. We went under the A650 and we continued Northwards out of town. We followed the road to the right and we crossed the A6177. We crossed Idle Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took anothr picture of First West Yorkshire 35216 as it continued towards Five Lane Ends.

Once off the bus we crossed over the road and we headed to the bus stop near to Eccleshill Library. We waited for a bus back to Bradford. A few minutes later the bus appeared. As uit got closer we saw it was First West Yorkshire 37078 on a #640 to Buttershaw again.

We got on the bus and we placed the WY Day Tickets under the scanner before we went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off along Bolton Road and we crossed over the A6177 and ran down the hill and into Bradford. We turned right onto Lower Kirkgate. We turnmed left onto Market Street and left onto Bridge Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we headed up Bridge Street to the stop. We just missed a #620, so we decided to cross over the road and got to Tesco Direct. We bought a bottle of Coke and a mint aero as well as millionaires shoertbread and a pack of Bakewell Slices. We crossed back over to the bus stop and Matthew had a mkint Aero. He also had a couple of Bakewell Slices. Whilst we waited for our bus we saw Transdev Keighley 1814 on a #662 to Keighley. A short time later the bus appeared. We saw it was First West Yorkshire 69570 on a #620 to Bierley.

We got on the bus and we placed the WY Daysaver ticket on the scanner for the final time today before sitting down towards the back of the bus. I called mum to say that we were on the way and we arranged to meet at the bus stop. We set off along Bridge Street past the Interchange which is currently closed for repairs. We turned left onto Croft Street and we turned right onto the Southbound A650. We travelled for around a mile or so before turning right onto New Hey Road. We turned right onto Brassey Road and left onto Paley Road. We turned left onto Bowling Hall Road and we ran up the hill. We turned left onto the A6177 and we wen to the roundabout before turning 180' and heading West. At the roundabout we turned left onto Bierley Lane and we ran down to the bottom of the lane where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for around 5 minutes and mum appeared to pick us up. We got in the car and we headed down Bierley Lane. We turned right onto Rockhill Lane and left onto Wharfdale Road. We returned to the hotel and we went up to the room to Chill out. Matthew had ham sandwiches and a scotch egg as well as a Kit Kat. He washed this down with a glass of Cherry Coke. Today we decided to start our journey at Salford for the first time. We have been through Salford many times before, but today was the first time we have parked up here. After Matthew had chosen Salford, research consisted at looking at where to park and where to eat. We also checked the weather which was for hot sunny weather with a chance of thunderstorms later on. Matthew got up and had toast for breakfast. We set off approximatley 11:45. We got in the car and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Northbound A500. There was some traffic on the A500 but this did not delay us too much. We ran up to Barthomley and we joined the Northboud M6. AS we travelled Northwards up the M6 we saw Selwyn's (NX) BV23 ZWB(#550) / BD65 JFO(#540) / BV67 JXZ(#121), Aman's BV19 YFM, Weavaway Travel YN72 ZXZ and an unidentified Telfords coach. We ran up to junction 21A and we got on the Eastbound M62. Seen on the M62 was taxi minibus BY04 CAB. As we reached the M60 we went forwards onto the M602. We came off the M602 at junction 3 and we turned left onto the Northbound A5063. We joined the Westbound A6 and we ran for about 1/3 of a mile and we came off the A6 onto Hankinson Way. We turned right at the roundabout onto eywood Way and we turned right into Tesco and we parked up. On the way in we had been passed the cafe that we had planned on eating at and it had been closed! We decided to go to POund Baker and get food so we said goodbye to mum and we walked around the North Western corner of the shopping centre to the toilets. After using the toilet we set off towards Pound Bakery. On the way arouns we saw Rotala Diamond 40817 on a #8 to Manchester.

We continued around the North and East sides of the shopping centre and we stopped at the Pound Bakery. Matthew had a couple of sausage rolls and a bottle of Pepsi. As there weren't any cakes he fancied I said we could grab a cake later on. We went outside and we saw a an empty bus stop so we sat down and ate our food, Whilst we ate we saw Stagecoach Manchester 19519 on a #34 to Piccadilly Gardens.

When we had finished we wakled up to stand D to catch something towards Piccadilly Gardens. After a short wait we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach Manchester 12108 in Magicbus livery. We got on the bus and we brought System One Bus Only Day tickets at £5 each before going upstairs and sitting down. We set off along Hankinson Way and we turned left onto Rossall Way. We Headed North onto the roundabout before turning right onto the A6. We headed Eastwards Past Salford Crescent railway station and into the city. We ran forwards onto Chapel Street and we turned right onto the A34. We ran through the centre of Manchester and we turned left onto Portland Street. Just after the main bus station we stopped on Portland Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took a picture of Stagecoach Manchester 12108 as it continued along Portland Street.

Once off the bus we walked along Portland Street and we crossed over the tramway and into the interchange. We had a look around to to see what we might catch. We saw Stagecoach Manchester 12042 on a #85 to Chorlton.

We walked to the North end of the bus station. We saw Stagecoach Manchester 19502 on a #256 to Flixton.

A few minutes later we saw an Arriva bus come into the bus station. As we got closer we saw it was Arriva NW&W 2748 on a #263 to Altrincham.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only Day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the terminal and we turned right onto Portland Street. We turned left onto Princess Street and right onto Whitworth Street. We turned left onto Oxford Street and we headed Southwards. We turned right onto Booth Street West. We passed the College of Music and we turned right onto Boundry lane. We turned left onto the A5067 and we headed Westwards. We passed Hulme Park and we ran to the end of the road and we joined Chester Road. We joined the A56 and we ran past White City Retail Park. We passed Old Trafford and we continued along the A56 until Streford. We went under the M60 and we carried on into Sale. As we came into Sale an alarm went off in the cab of the bus. The driver pulled over and called the garage to tell them that the bus had started to overheat. In the centre of Sale we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of Arriva NW&W as it carried on towards Altrincham.

Once off the bus we crossed over the road and we headed West towards the next bus stop. We had just missed Arriva NW&W 2745 on a #263 to Manchester. We looked at the timetable and we saw that there was a #245 to the Traffod Centre due in a few minutes. After a short while we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Arriva NW&W 3096 on a #245 to The Trafford Centre.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only Day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off along the A56 through Sale and we went under the M60. At Stetchford Mall we turned left onto the A5145 and we headed Westwards. We ran forwards onto the B5213 and we ran under the M60. We followed the road around to the right onto the B5214 and we ran into Urmston. We turned left into Moorside Road and into Davyhulme. We passed the Trafford General hospital and close to the Manchester Ship Canal before we turned Northwards onto Woodsend Road. We continued East along Davyhulme Road and we turned left onto Woodhouse Road. We re-joined the Northbound B5214 and back under the M60. We passed the Trafford Golf Centre and then we turned right into the Trafford Centre bus station next to the BP garage. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we headed to the toilet. After using the toilet we had a sit down and Matthew drank a bottle of Coke Zero. Afterwards we had a look around to see what we might catch. We saw Rotala Diamond 33027 which was about to work a #126 to Leigh.

Further up the bus station we saw it was Go North West 4013 about to work a #52 to Cheetham Hill.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only Day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto the B5214. We turned left onto the B5211 and we crossed over the Manchester Ship canal. We turned right onto the B5230 and we turned left onto Trafford Road. We ran to the end and we turned right onto the A57. On the edge of Eccles we ran forwards onto Church Street and we continued into the centre of Eccles and into the interchange where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus, Matthew took another picture of Go North West 4013 before in continued towards Cheetham Hill.

We had a walk along to see what other buses were around. Rotala Diamond 31434 parked up on layover.

We crossed the road to go and visit a pub. I though we were going to go to the Joseph Holt pub The Lamb Hotel, but Matthew decided he wanted to go to Wetherspoons. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we went to the bar to get drinks. We ordered 2 small Coke's, and we sat at a table near to the front. When we had finished we dropped the empty glasses off at the bar and we went outside. As we considered where to go next, we saw Alfa A141 heading Westwards along Church Street.

We crossed over the road and we decided we would head into Manchester. We went into the interchange and we saw a bus on stand. As we got closer we saw it was Go North West 3206 on a #67 to Manchester Shudehill.

We got on the bus and we placed the System One Bus Only Day tickets under the scanner before we went upstairs. The bus set off out of the Unterchange and we travelled Eastwards along Regent Street. At the roundabout we joined the Northbound A576 and we crossed over the M602. We continued the road turned through 90' and we travelled Eastwards past Salford hospital. WE continued for another mile before diving down below the A6 and coming up on Pendleton roundabout. We ran around the roundabout past the police station and KFC and down the side of Salford Shopping Centre on Hankinson Way. After a brief stop opposite to the shopping centre and continued down to the roundabout and we turned left onto Churchill Way. We turned left onto Cross Lane and we turned right onto the A6. We passed Salford Crescent railway station. We continued along Chapel Street and we went under the railway line by Salford Central railway station. We continued into the city centre and we turned left onto Victoria Street. We turned right onto Hunts bank and past the Manchester Arena and the entrance to Manchester Victoria railway station. We followed the road around to the right onto Victoria Station Approach and we went forward onto Todd Street past the National Football Museum. We turned right onto Corporation Street and left onto Withy Grove. We continued onto Shudehill and we entered the Interchange. Once off the bus we saw Flixbus FX34 about to work the N603 service to Paris.

Afterwards we had a walk around. Matthew used the toilet and we went around the corner to a coffe shop in the bus station. It was about to close, So Matthew a millionaire's shortbread and a can of Coke to take out. We walked over to the middle stands and Matthew ate the shortbread and afterwards had his can of Coke. As we were finishing the can we saw an Arriva bus drop onto the stand. We saw it was Arriva NW&W 3132 on a #10 to the Brookhouse estate.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One bus only day tickets to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the Interchange and we turned right onto Shudehill. We continued onto Withy Grove and we turned right onto Corporation Street. We turned left onto Todd Street and we continued onto Victoria Station Approach. We ran past the front of Victoria Railway station along Hunts Bank and we turned left onto Victoria Street. We ran along Chapel Street and we turned right under the railway line onto Blackfriars Road. We continued Northwards out fo the city centre and we crossed over the A6042. We continued Northwards up the A6041 and we continued forwards onto the A5066. We crossed over the river Irwell and we turned left onto Lower Broughton Road. We turned left onto the A576 and we ran Southwards towards Pendleton. We crossed over the A6 and we ran down past the side of Salford Shopping Centre along Hankinson Way. We turned right onto Heywood Way and right onto Fitzwarren Street. We turned left onto Seedley Road and left onto Langworth Rpad. We turned right onto Liverpool Street and we ran forwards onto Tootal Road. We followed the road around the corner onto Tootal Drive and we turned left onto Eccles Old Road. We crossed over the M602 and at Ladywell roundabout we turned right onto Regent Street. We pulled up outside of the Interchange and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Arriva NW&W 3132 as it continued towards the Brookhouse estate.

We walked along Church Street near to the former RBS bank and into the Interchange. It was now 18:00 and we neede to head back to Salford. There were a couple of different buses approaching. Whilst we waited we saw Rotala Diamond 20921 which had been broken down on stand for a few hours.

A short time later the first of the 2 buses that were approaching came on stand. We saw it was Go North West 3208 on a #67 to Manchester Shudehill.

We got on the bus and we flashed the System One Bus Only Day tickets to the driver for the final time today before we went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off out of the Interchange and we travelled Eastwards along Regent Street. At the roundabout we joined the Northbound A576 and we crossed over the M602. We continued the road turned through 90' and we travelled Eastwards past Salford hospital. We continued for another mile before diving down below the A6 and coming up on Pendleton roundabout. We ran around the roundabout past the police station and KFC and down the side of Salford Shopping Centre on Hankinson Way where we got up and got off the bus. We crossed the road and Matthew got another picture of Go North West 3208 as it continued towards Manchester.

Once off the bus we walked around the North side of the shopping centre and we headed to Tesco car park as mum had returned here. We dropped the bag off in the car and Me and Matthew went into Tesco and we went to the toilet. Afterwards we went into the shop and we bought a bottle of Coke. We returned to the car and mum had brought some ice and we had cold drinks. We also had a rocket lolly. Afterward I walked across to the shopping centre and I brough Chips from Mother Hubbards. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. Whrn we had finished eating we set off onto Heywood Way. We ran forwards onto Churchill Way and we turned right onto Cross Lane. We turned left onto Liverpool Street and right onto the Southbound A5063. We went onto RegenT Road roundabout and we turned right onto the Westbound M602. We ran out of the city and we crossed the M60 and ran forwards onto the M62. On the M62 we saw JH Coaches JH19 ??? & Fourway YX67 UPZ. We ran to the North or Warrintgon befoer joining the Southbound M6. On the M6 we saw Ellenvale MF71 AFZ, an unidentified white minibus, silver minibus FD57 UGM and an unidentified DHN Coaches coach. We came off the M6 at junction 16 and we joined the Southbound A500. We ran through Talke, Longport, Etruria and Stoke. We came off the A500 at Stoke and we veered off onto Whieldon Road and into Fenton. We dropped off uncle Dave and Matthew got out of the car to use the toilet, drink some of uncle Rob's Irn Bru and update his calendar. We got back in the car and we conrinued along Wheildon Road past the former Regent which is back up for sale. We ran forwards onto Grove Road and we saw green minibus R482 NDM parked up. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and at the roundabout we veered right onto Church Street. We turned right onto the A5035 and back to Blurton. Later on we did some more of the Blog and wrote an e-mail. Matthew chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
