Today we decided to re-visit Oakengates. We asked Matthew where he wanted to go on the previous evening, and he chose Telford. Research consisted of looking where we ate the time before, and checking the weather. It was forecast for dry sunny weather with a small chance of a rain shower. Matthew woke up around 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had orange juice and toast for breakfast. We got ready and we set off to pick up uncle Dave around 11:30. We set off through Blurton and onto Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. After picking up uncle Dave we continued down Wheildon Road and under the railway line. We crossed over the canal and we joined the Northbound A500, and we saw Travel Express YJ62 LSX parked up in Woodhouse Street. We turned left onto Church Street and onto the one-way system. We turned left onto London Road and we stopped at the petrol station. After filling up we set off onto London Road and we ran forwards onto Campbell Place. We followed the one-way system onto Church Street and onto Hartshill Road. We ran through Hartshill and we ran forwards onto George Street and into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout onto Ryecroft and we stopped to pick up our friend. We continued along Ryecroft and we turned left onto the A34. We ran Southwards through Trent Vale and Hanford and through Trentham. We continued Southwards through Tittensor to Darlaston and we turned right onto the A51. We travelled Westwards over the M6 and we turned left onto the Southbound A519. We continued through Eccleshall and we ran past a new development. We continued through Wootton and Woodseaves at Forton We headed Southwards along the A41 Newport by-pass. We ran past Aldi and we turned right to re-join the A518. We headed down to trench and we turned left onto the A442. We turned left onto Woodwardine Way and we turned right onto New Road. We continued onto Stafford Road and we ran into Oakengates. We went into the main car park and we parked up. We walked alongside the theatre which has been demolished and is currently being re-developed. We walked into Theatre Square and we headed into the council building. We went upstairs and into the cafe. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we sat at a table. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. For afters he had a slice of chocolate cake. Matthew looked at a post for a soft play event. We said goodbye to mum and we headed downstairs. We walked across the square onto Limes walk and up to the bus station. We had a look around to see what we could catch. We saw Arriva Midlands 2142 on a #5B to Telford.

We hesitated and we did not get to it in time. A short time later we saw another bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 3321 on a #4 to Madeley.

We got on the bus and we booked a Telford Day Saver tickets at £6.50 before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We ran down Uxacona Way and by the railway station we turned left onto station Road. We crossed over the A442 and we ran East along the B5061 until we got to the A5. We went South over the M54 and we headed to Telford railway station. There we nobody there to get on or off the bus so we came straight back out and onto the roundabout. We crossed over the A442 and onto Hollinsgate before going forwards onto Grange Central. We turned right onto Northfield street and we ran into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we headed into Costa Coffee. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we sat at a table and Matthew had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we went outside and we met up with uncle Dave. We walked around the outside of the bus station and we saw Arriva Midlands 3335 parked up on layover.

We considered what to catch next, A short time later we saw a double decker approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 4417 on a #3 to Brookside.

We got on the bus and we placed the Telford Day Saver ticket under the scanner and We went upstairs, and as the rear of the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside Arriva Midlands 4417.

We set off out of the bus station onto Northfield Street and Near to the ice rink. We ran forwards onto St Quintins Gate and we crossed the roundabout onto Stirchley Avenue and we ran down to Randlay Avenue and right onto Grange Avenue. We turned right to follow Grange Avenue and we ran forwards onto Brookside Drive. We passed a pub and we decided that there wasn't much on this estate. We did a full lap of the estate and we turned left onto Grange Avenue. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus matthew took another picture of Arriva Midlands 4417 as it returned towards Telford.

We crossed over the road and we cut through into a car park and into the Co-op. Matthew bought a bottle of Coke and some chocolate bars to share later on. We headed back to the same stop on Grange Avenue. We had a couple of minutes to wait for the next bus. A short time later it appeared from around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 2945 on a #3 to Telford.

We got on the bus and we placed the Telford day Saver ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off up Grange Avenue and we headed Northwards. We turned left onto Randlay Avenue and we continued Northwards. We turned left onto Stirchley Avenue and we crossed the roundabout onto St Quentin Gate. We ran forwards onto Nortfield Streett and we turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we looked around for something to catch. We saw an interesting looking red bus on an adjacent stand. As we got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 2002 on a #99C Telford circular.

We got on the bus and we placed the Telford day Saver ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we turned right onto Northfield Street. At the roundabout we turned left onto Brunel Road. We turned right onto Royal Way and we turned left onto St Leonards Road. We veered right onto Alma Avenue and we continued Southwards. At the end we turned right to re-joined Brunel Road. We ran forwards onto Church Road and we headed Westards. We ran forwards onto the B4373 and we continued Westards. At thr roundabout we turned right onto Heath Hill and we continued onto Dawley Road. We crossed the roundabout onto The Crescent past the new church. We continued onto Dawley Road and we ran into Wellington. We crossed over the B5061 and we ran forwards onto Mill Bank. We turned right onto King Street and we crossed over the railway line. We turned left onto Victoria Road and we turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got another picture of Arriva Midlands 2002 before it continued towards Telford.

We walked through the bus station and we cut through onto New Street. We went into the pub and Matthew used the toilet. Afterwards we headed to the bar and Matthew had a small glass of Coke. When we had finished we walked back down the passageway and into the bus station. We saw D&G Bus 5025 on a #340 to Whitchurch.

A few minutes later we saw another bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 2150 on a #99A to Telford.

We got on the bus and we placed the Telford day Saver ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we turned left onto Victoria Road. We turned right onto King Street and we continued onto Mill Bank. We crossed over the B5061 and we continued onto Dawley Road. We headed out of town and we crossed over the M54. We continued onto The Crescent and we ran past the modern church. We crossed the roundabout onto Dawley Road and at the roundabout we ran forwards onto Dawley Green Way. We ran forwards onto Church Road and we turned left onto Alma Avenue. We continued Northwards to St Leonards Road and we turned right onto Royal Way. We turned left onto Brunel Road and we crossed the roundabout onto Malinsgate. We continuned onto Northfield Street and we turned into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked around the outside of the bus station. We saw Arriva Midlands 2003 on a #2 to Sutton Hill.

We walked around the bus station and we sat down for a while to have a snack. Matthew had a toffee crisp that we had bought earlier on at the Co-op. We had a look around what we might consider catching. We turned down Banga Travel YX10 BFK on a #891 to Wolverhampton.

We decided to catch the Bridgnorth bus on the adjacent stand as far as Madeley. We saw it was Arriva Midlands 2142 on a #8 to Bridgnorth. We got on the bus and we placed the West Midlands Day Saver Duo ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bu station and we turned right onto Northfield Street. We turned left onto Milners Lane and left onto Cemetery Road. We continued onto Bank Road and we turned right onto Concorde. We turned left onto Station Road and Right onto Martingale Way. We turned left onto the B5072 and we headed Westwards. We ran forwards onto Peppermill and into an unsual modern housing estate. We turned left onto Glendale and we followed the road to the left and headed Southwards. We turned right into a little triangle junction on which the bus stop was situated. We turned right onto the other side of the traingle and left to rejoined Glendale. We turned left onto Smallhill Road and we ran forwards onto The Crescent. We crossed a roundabout and we ran forwards onto Dawley Road. We continued onto Heath Hill and we turned right onto the B4373. We turned right on to Station Road and we ran past the Telford Steam Railway. We continued onto Bridge Road and we headed Eastwards. We ran forwards onto Wellington Road and we continued onto Ellens Bank. We ran onto Little Flin and forwards onto Lightmoor Way. We turned left onto the A4169 and we ran fast to the edge of Madeley. We got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of Arriva Midlands 2142 before it carried on towards Bridgnorth.

Once off the bus we checked the public toilets, and they were closed. We decided to go to the nearby Tesco. We walked along Park Avenue and we headed into Tesco. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we bought a small bottle of Irn Bru. We headed back to the bus stops and we noticed the next bus due was a #100 to Wellington via Telford Central. As this was the first bus due we decided to wait for this. A few minutes later the bus came around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 3780 on a #100 to Wellington.

We got on the bus and we placed the Telford Day Saver ticket under the scanner for the final time today. As the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside Arriva Midlands 3780 before we sat down.

We set off along Park Avenue and we continued onto Park Street. The plan was to go back to Telford and to get mum to meet us there. We had made a slight miscalculation as it would become apparent later on... We ran forwards onto Ironbridge Road and we crossed the roundabout and carried on Westwards along Ironbridge Road. We turned right onto Woodside Avenue and we ran around the outside of the Woodside housing estate. We turned left ont the B4373 and we headed Northwards over the railway line. We crossed the A4169 and we continued North Eastwards along the B4373. We turned right onto Southall and we turned right onto Brookside Avenue. We turned right onto Holmer Road and we joined the Northbound A442. We turned right onto the A464 and we turned left to run through the Stafford Park industrial estate. We continued the the estate and at the roundabout we ran forwards into Telford Central railway station. After a brief stop by the railway station we crossed the roundabout and joined the Northbound A442. It was at this point we realised that we had made a mistake... Instead of going onto the centre of Telford, the bus only served Telord Central railway station. We had planned to go to a chip shop in Trench on the way home. We quickly formulated a plan to get off the bus as near to the chip shop as we could and to get mum to pick us up. We came off the A442 at Trench and we turned right onto Hortonwood 1. We turned right onto Hotonwood 7 and at the far end we got up and got off the bus with most of the other guys who were on their way to work. Once off the bus we headed down a footpath at the side of SSH self drive and we saw a couple of minibuses parked up. We went under the roundabout of the A518 and we followed a cycle path over a railway yard and past a playground. We came out on Trench Road and we saw Arriva Midlands 3773 on a #7 to Wellington.

We crossed over the road and we walked up Furnace Lane. We called mum to let her knoe where we were and a few minutes later she appeared and we got in the car. We turned around and headed Southwards down Furnace Lane and we pulled up in the car park outside the chippy. I returned from the chippy and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. He washed this down with the Irn Bru we had bought earlier on. When I had finished eating we headed Northwards up Furnace lane and we turned left onto Trench Road. We turned right onto the A442 and we joined the Eastbound A518. We headed Northwards for around 5 mile and we joined the Northbound A41. For some reason, instead of carry on Northwards to the A519, I turned right onto the A518. I realised my mistake immediately but I carried on Eastwards. Someone plotted a route to get back on the A519 and we carried on. When we reached Gnosall we saw Arriva Midlands 3726 on a #5 to Telford. We also caught up with Arriva Midlands 2976 on a #5 to Stafford. We headed Northwards through Knightley Dale and we ran forwards onto Gnosall Road into Knightley. We turned left onto the B5405 and right onto Gorse Lane. We turned right onto the A519 and we ran into Eccleshall. The Sat-Nav was taking us on a further adventure, so I decided to keep following it. We ran forwards onto the A5013 and we ran out of town. We continued for a further 5 miles or so an we reached junction 14 of the motorway. We got onto the M6 and we headed Northwards. As we travlled Northwards we saw taxi minibus NK18 CFV, an unidentified white coach, an unidentified Zen coach, 2 x unidentified Ellison's coaches and an unidentified 2 tone grey tri-axle coach. We came off the M6 at junction 15 and we turned left onto the A519. We ran into Newcastle and we past the sink hole in Brook Lane, which the council are currently looking into. We ran forwards onto Barracks Road and we turned left onto Ryecroft. We dropped off our friend and we did a u-turned and headed back along Ryecroft and onto the one-way system. We ran up George Street to Hartshill and we went forwards onto Shelton New Road past the site of the former furniture shop where they are now building new houses. We ran into the valley and we joined the Southbund A500. We ran to Stoke and we came off onto Wheildon Road.

Today we decided to re-visit Telford. Research consisted of looking on the Arriva Website to look at tickets and checking where we could eat and checking the weather which was for mainly dry and sunny weather. Matthew woke up around 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had apple juice and toast for breakfast. We got ready and we set off to pick up uncle Dave around 11:50. We set off through Blurton and onto Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. After picking up uncle Dave we continued down Wheildon Road and under the railway line. We crossed over the canal and we joined the Northbound A500. we turned right onto City Road and back onto the Southbound A500 and we ran through Hanford to the end of the A500. We turned left onto the A519 and we passed Longmile Coach 800 XPG coming the other way. We continued Southwards through Eccleshall and we ran down to the A41 Newport bypass. We joined the Southbound A518. We turned left onto the A4640 and we headed inti Oakengates. We park up in the the centre of town and we walked onto New Street and we turned left onto Market Street. We were looking for a cafe called the outpost. The map said it was behind market Street so we walked down a passageway. The cafe turned out to be on the 1st floor of a council building. We enetered the building and we went upstairs. Matthew went to the toilet and mum ordered the food. Matthew had a small breakfast with an extra sausage washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we wend out of the building and directly back to the car to pick up the trip bag. We said goodbye to mum and we walked back past the theatre and through to shopping arcade back to the bus station. We went to check out the toilets and they looked closed down. The disabled toilet still looked to be open so we used the key and we were surprised to see that this was being used as some kind of store room. We walked back to the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Telford. Whilst we waited we saw Arriva Midlands 3330 on a #4 to Leegomary.

A few seconds later we saw a suitable bus approaching. We saw it was Arriva Midlands 2962 on a #7 to Telford.

We got on the bus and we booked a Shropshire and telford Duo Day Saver tickets at £15 before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We ran down Uxacona Way and by the railway station we turned left onto station Road. We crossed over the A442 and we ran East along the B5061 until we got to the A5. We went South over the M54 and we headed to Telford railway station. There we nobody there to get on or off the bus so we came straight back out and onto the roundabout. We crossed over the A442 and onto Hollinsgate before going forwards onto Grange Central. We turned right onto Northfield street and we ran into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we did a lap of the bus station and took a few bus pictures. We saw Arriva Midlands 3323 on a #4 to Leegomery.

We headed into the shopping centre and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we returned to the bus station and we had a look wat we could catch. We decided to head towards Madeley. A shirt time later we saw a bus on stand. As we got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 3311 on a #4 to Madeley.

We got on the bus and we placed the Shropshire and telford Duo Day Saver ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Northfield Street and Near to the ice rink. We ran forwards onto St Quintins Gate and we crossed the roundabout onto Stirchley Avenue and we ran down to the A442. We ran fast for 2/3rd of a mile and then forwards onto the A4169. We turned onto the Southbound B4373 and then right onto Woodside Avenue. We ran around the woodside housing estate and then forwards onto Eastbound B4373. At the roundabout we went onto Mound Way and we ran to the edge of Madeley. At the next roundabout we went onto Parkway and we past an Aldi. We bypassed Madeley town centre and we came in from the other end up High Street. When we got to the top we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of Arriva Midlands 3311 before it carried on towards Leegomery.

Once off the bus Mattew went to the toilet block around the corner and used the toilet. We spotted a gost sign on Court Street so we went over to investigate and we headed past the former Wesleyan church which is going to be converted into flats. On the way back to the bus stops we saw Arriva Midlands 3742 on a #2 Sutton Hill circular.

We went back to the bus stop by the toilet block. We considered catching the 100 service, but we saw it go up the High Street and miss the stop for some reason, It was Chaserider 6501 on the #100 to Wellington. We then waited for the #1 which for some reason also didn't turn up. We decied to go around the corner and catch the next #4 as we had been in Madeley for almost an hour. We went around the corner and a few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 3312 on a #4 to Leegomery.

We go on the bus and we placed the West Midlands Day Saver Duo ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We ran onto Court Street and we turned left onto Parkway. At the roundabout we went forwards onto Mound Way. At the roundabout we went West along the B4373 before turning ritgh into Woodside Avenue. We ran around the Woodside estate before turning left onto the Northbound B4373. We ran up the the big roundabout and we turned right onto the A4169. We ran forwards onto the A442 and at the next junction we came off onto Stirchley Avenue. At the next roundabout we ran forwards onto St Quentins Gate and then forwards agin onto Northfield Street and into the bus station. We got off the bus and we got off the bus. We had a look around the bus station and we headed down to the bottom end. We saw Arriva Midlands 2145 awaiting time to work a #8 to Bridgnorth.

We had a walk around but it seem Matthew wanted to do the Bridgnorth service so we waited around for 20 odd minutes. Whilst we waited for the bus sto be readied for service, we saw Banga Travel YD63 UZY on a #891 to Wolverhampton.

When it was time for the Bridgenorth bus it was as expected Arriva Midlands 2145. We go on the bus and we placed the West Midlands Day Saver Duo ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bu station and we turned right onto Northfield Street. We turned left onto Milners Lane and left onto Cemetery Road. We ran forwards onto Wellington Road and we continued onto Ellens Bank. We ran onto Little Flin and forwards onto Lightmoor Way. We turned left onto the A4169 and we ran fast to the edge of Madeley. We turned right onto the B4373 and we turned left onto Parkway. We turned left onto Maddocks and left onto Park Avenue. We ran forwards onto High Street and after a brief stop we turned left onto Court Street. We turned left onto Parkway and we ran to the roundabout. We turned left onto the B4373 and we ran down the hill into Ironbridge Gorge. At the bottom of the hill there was a sharp left turn. In order to do the turn tou have to go around the rouandabout once as it would be impossible to do the turn otherwise. We continued Eastwards along the B4373 and we cross over the River Severn on the modern suspension bridge. We turned left onto Lloyds Head and we ran over a form railway level crossing onto Calcutts Road. We turned left to re-join the B4373 and we ran into Boseley. As wewere unsure where the bus coming the other way was we got up and got off the bus by the garage. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Arriva Midlands 2145 as it continued towards Bridgenorth.

Once off the bus we crossed over the road to wait for the bus back towards Madeley. Whilst we waited we saw red minibus BG57 JTO parked up. We saw our bus heading into Pound Lane. After running to the end and turning around at turned back out onto the B4373. As it got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 2141 on a #8A to Telford.

We go on the bus and we placed the West Midlands Day Saver Duo ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off Northwards up the B4373 and we ran towards Ironbridge Gorge. We turned right onto Calcutts Road and we headed back across the former railway level crossing onto Lloyds Head. We re-joined the B4373 and we crossed over the river Severn. We headed towards Ironbridge and at the roundabout we did the sharp right turn to continued along the B4373 and out of the valley. WE ran up the hill towards Madeley and at the roundabout we turned left onto Parkway. We turned left onto Maddocks and left onto Park Avenue. We ran forwards onto High Street where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of Arriva Midlands 2141 as it continued towards Telford.

Once off the bus we walked along Court Street to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we headed into the bar. Matthew had a glass of Coke and we sat and watch the Aresenal vs Brentford match on the TV for a while. When we had finished our drink we headed back along Court Street. We saw Chaserider 6502 awaiting time on a #100 to Wellington.

We decided the next bus due that we hadn't already been on was a #2 service so we waited at the appropriate stop. A short time later the bus came around the corner. We saw it was Arriva Midlands 3332 on a #2 Sutton Hill circular service,

We go on the bus and we placed the West Midlands Day Saver Duo ticket under the scanner for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto Park Avenue and we ran onto Court Street and we turned left onto Parkway. We re-joined the Northbound B4373 and we crossed the A4169 ponto Majestic Way. At the end of the road we re-joined the Northbound B4373 before turning left onto The Old Vicarage. We turned right onto Trinity Road and we followed the road around onto Deepfield Road. We turned left onto Manor Road and right onto Webb Crescent. We crossed over Finger Road onto New Street and we continued onto King Street. We turned right onto Johnston Road and left onto Eyton Road. We turned left onto Mount Road and right onto Brunel Road. We ran to the edge of town and we turned right at the roundabout onto Malinsgate and past the Severn Gorge pub. We ran onto Northfield Stre and we entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we had a walk around and took a few pictures. We headed out onto the road and as we were approaching mum appeared in the car. We got in the car and we set off along Northfield Street. We turned left onto Grange Central and we ran forwards onto Hollingstgate. We crossed over the A442 onto the A5 and we saw Brit Coaches BU18 YMP. We turned left onto Redhill Way and we crossed the roundabout onto Donnington Wood Way. We followed the road into Muxton and we stopped at Wellington Road and into the car park. I went across the road and bought food. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Irn Bru. After I had finished eating we turned right onto Wellington Road and right onto Donnington Wood Way. We turned right onto the A518 and we headed towards Newport. At the edge of town we turned left onto the A41 on the Newport bypass. After a couple of junctions we turned right onto the A519. We headed through Forton and Woodseaves and into Eccleshall. We continued along the A519 through Cotes Heath and Beech. We reached Hanchurch and we joined the Northboud A500. We ran through Hanford and into Stoke and we turned right onto City Road. We headed back South on the A500 and we veered left onto Whieldon Road past the old Board Products factory which is being converted into a new soft play place. We stopped at uncle Dave's so that Mattew could use the toilet and update uncle Dave's calendar with today's trip. He also had some of uncle Rod's Fanra orange. When we had finished we got in the car and we set off back to Blurton. We set off onto Wheildon Road and past the former Regent pub which is now being set up as an Indian Restaurant. We ran forwards onto Grove Road and we saw green minibus R482 NDM parked up. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Street. We turned right onto the A5035 and back to Blurton just after 20:00. Matthew had his medication and afterwards chilled out on his computer and we did some of the Blog. We also wrote a few emails and generally used the computer to entertain ourselves. Today we decided to re-visit Shrewsbury. Matthew had initially asked to go to Oswestry, becasue Arriva are considering closing the depot. We ended up picking Shrewsbury instead. Research consisted of Looking up the ticket, looking at possibly places to eat and checking the weather which was for dry grey weather but quite cold. Matthew got up around 09:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Mum returned home from work and we set off just after 12:00. We set off and we ran along Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Northbound A500. We came off the A500 at Stoke and we turned right onto City Road. We turned right to join the Southbound A500 and we ran through Sideway and Hanford down to the A519. We headed Southwards for a few hundred yards before turning right onto the A5182. We headed Westwards for a few miles and at the end of the road we turned left onto the Southbound A53 We ran through Whitmore and Balwins gate and we crossed over the A51 by The Swan With Two Necks. We continued through Loggerheads and to the North of Market Drayton and on the other side of town we stopped in a layby. Matthew had a sausage sandwich from Jim's Butty Van and washed it down with a can of Cherry Coke from the boot. When we had finished eating we continued down the A53 to Tern Hill. We waited at the roundabout for the 4-way light in the roadworks, and whilst we waited we saw Mawley Oak KM16 KOB. We continued through Edge Bolton and Shawbury and at the North end of Shrewwsbury we joined the A5112. We ran into town and we turned right under by the railway station onto the A458. We ran past the bus station and we turned left onto Roushill. We turned left onto Raven Meadows and we parked up at the Raven Meadows car park (expensive!). We said goodbye to mum and we went down the lift to the street. We headed towards the bus station and we crossed over to look what was parked up in the layover area. On layover we saw Lakeside YJ61 CKD parked between duties.

We crossed back over Raven Meadows and we had a look in the bus station. We saw Arriva Midlands 3790 departing on a X5 to Oswestry. Afterwards we saw saw Arriva Midlands 2959 on a #24 to Harlescott Tesco.

We walked into the bus station and we saw there was a bus to Wellington due to go shortly. It was Arriva Midlands 2522 on a #17 to Wellington.

We decided that we were going to do the bus to Wellington. Whilst we waited for the driver we saw Tanat Valley 281 arrive into the bus stations and afterwatfs go on layover.

We got on the bus and we brought a West Midlands Day Saver Duo ticket at £12.50 before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto the A458 and we went left onto Chester Street. We turned right onto Cross Street and right onto Castle Foregate and past the railway station. We headed up the hill past the castle and we turned left onto St Mary's Street. We continued down the hill and we veered left onto Wyle Cop. We crossed over the English Bridge and we went under the railway line onto Abbey Foregate. We continued Southwards onto the A458 and we turned right onto Sutton Way. We turned left onto Sutton Road and we crossed over a former railway line which is now a footpath. We turned left onto Tilsrock Crescent and we ran around the Sutton Farm housing estate. We rejoined Sutton Road and we turned left onto the B4380. We crossed over the A458 and we crossed over the A5 at the Salop Leisure roundabout. We ran out of town through Emstrye and Atcham and we ran forwards onto the B5061. We continued through Norton and Uckington and we crossed the A5 at Blue Bell. We ran through Overley and we veered left to stay on the B5061. We turned left at The Wickets Inn and we ran Northwards up Wrekin Road. We turned right onto Victoria Road and we ran up the East side of town before turning left into the bus station. Once off the bus Matthew got another picture of Arriva Midlands 2522 before it returned to the depot.

Once off the bus Matthew wanted to go to the toilet. We headed to the adjacent toilet block but it was closed. We crossed over The parade and we cut trough the passageway next to BBQ Station onto New Street. We went to the pub and Matthew used the toilet before having a small glass of Coke. When we had finished we went over to Sofia's Cafe. Matthew wanted a cake, but they had sold all of their stock. We returned back up the passageway and over The Parade and we saw a Telford bound bus on stand. AS we got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 2994 on a #4 to Madeley.

We got on the bus and we placed the Arriva West Midlands Day Saver Duo under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out off the bus station onto Victoria Road and we turned right onto King Street and we ran through town and onto the B5061. We ran East for a couple of miles and we ran into Oakengate. We turned left onto Hartshill and we ran into town. By the railway station we turned left onto Uxacona Way and around the North end of town before entering the bus station. We ran down Uxacona Way and by the railway station we turned left onto station Road. We crossed over the A442 and we ran East along the B5061 until we got to the A5. We went South over the M54 and we headed to Telford railway station. There we nobody there to get on or off the bus so we came straight back out and onto the roundabout. We crossed over the A442 and onto Hollinsgate before going forwards onto Grange Central. We turned right onto Northfield street and we ran into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and we had a walk around the bus station to take a few bus pictures. We saw Arriva Midlands 3793 on a #1 to Sutton Hill.

We visited the toilet and afterwards Matthew wanted to go get something from Costa Coffee. I said we would get some cake from somewhere else. I gave Matthew the choice of doing a few more buses in Telford or catching the next X5 back to Shrewsbury. Matthew chose to do a few more buses in Telford. I thought it would be a good idea to go to Oakengates and back and visit the Co-op there to get some cake. We had a look around for a bus heading towards Oakengates. We saw there was one on stand. As we got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 3792 on a #6 to Donnington.

We set off out of the bus station onto Northfield Street and we turned left onto Grange Central. We ran forwards onto Hollingsgate and we crossed the A442 and we turned into the railway station. After stopping outside the station we returned back to the roundabout and we joined the Northbound A5. We turned left onto the B5061 and we ran West past Wickes and back over the A442. We joined Station Road and we ran North to Oakengates. We turned right onto Uxacona Way and we ran along the Eastern side of town before turning left into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Arriva Midlands 3792 as it continued towards Donnington.

We headed ober to the nearby Co-operative Food shop and Matthew had a can of Coke, Some choclate bars and a cake. The cake was a fudge cake so he would have to wait until he got home before he could eat it! We headed back towards the bus station and we saw a bus already on stand. As we got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 3753 on a #5 to Telford.

We ran down Uxacona Way and by the railway station we turned left onto station Road. We crossed over the A442 and we ran East along the B5061 until we got to the A5. We went South over the M54 and we headed to Telford railway station. There we nobody there to get on or off the bus so we came straight back out and onto the roundabout. We crossed over the A442 and onto Hollinsgate before going forwards onto Grange Central. We turned right onto Northfield street and we ran into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. We had about 3/4 of an hour before the X5 to Shrewsbury was due. We walked around the bus station and we saw A Banga Travel bus. As we got closer we saw Banga Travel YD63 UZY on a #891 to Wolverhampton.

We decided that we would have time to go up to the railway station and back. We could do any of the #4, #5 or #6 buses. We walked into the bus station and we saw a bus on stand. It was Arriva Midlands 3338 on a #4 to Leegomery.

We set off out of the bus station onto Northfield Street and we turned left onto Grange Central. We ran forwards onto Hollingsgate and we crossed the A442 and we turned into the railway station. We got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of Arriva Midlands 3338 as it continued towards Leegomery.

We walked back to the station and Matthew used the toilet. We came out of the station and we just missed Arriva Midlands 3335 on a #4 to Madeley. We got to the stop and we noticed there was a gap in the service. The bus was due at 17:11 and the bus was due off Telford bus station at 17:20. It was going to be very close! A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 3780 on a #5A to Telford.

We got on the bus and we placed the West Midlands Duo Day Saver tickets under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus so we came back out and onto the roundabout. We crossed over the A442 and onto Hollinsgate before going forwards onto Grange Central. We turned right onto Northfield street and we ran into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. WE had about 5 minutes to spare so we had a quick walk around the bus station. We saw National Express West Midlands 338 on a #409 service to Aberystwyth.

We saw the bus pull onto the stand at the opposite end of the bus station. We entered the bus station and we walked up to the appropriate stand. As we got closer we saw it was Arriva Midlands 3790 on the X5 to Oswestry.

We got on the bus and we placed the West Midlands Duo Day Saver tickets under the scanner for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Northfield Street. We turned right onto Hall Park Way and we ran down to the motorway. We joined Westbound M54 and forwards onto the A5. We ran fast for around 20 minutes to the edge of Shrewsbury on to the Southern by-pass. We turned right onto A5064 and we headed Northwards into town. We ran past Lord Hill's Column. We ran forwards onto Abbey Foregate. We went around the English Bridge Gyratory and we crossed over the bridge. We ran forwards onto Wyle Cop. We followed the one-way system around town and we turned right onto Barker Street. We turned right onto the A458 and we turned right into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we attempted to use the toilet in the bus station but it had been locked up. We crossed over Raven Meadows to have a look at the coaches on layover. We saw Swains Coaches M19 CJE parked up.

We crossed back over Raven Meadows and we got in the lift and went back to the car. Matthew had a bottle of orange Fanta and we set off out of the car park. We turned left onto Raven Medows and we turned right onto the A458. We ran forwards onto the A528 and we went under the low arched bridge that had prevented the use of a double decker on the run. We turned left onto the A5191 and we headed North towards Harlescott. We ran forwards onto the A53 and we travelled through Upper Astley for around 5 miles and into Shawbury. We stopped nin Shawbury. Mum went to the chip show and Matthew went to the pub to use the toilet. Afterwards Matthew had a glass of Coke. We went back to the car and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. We set off onto the A53 and we headed Northwards. We crossed over the A41 and Northwards towards Market Drayton. We ran along the Market Drayton by-pass and we continued Northwards towards Loggerheads. we crossed over the A51 and up through Whitmore. We ran Northwards towards Newcastle and we turned right onto Trentham Road. We turned left onto the A519. We joined the Northbound A500. As we headed Northwards we saw Elite Gold AG53 ???. We ran through Hanford up to Stoke and we came off the A500. We turned right onto City Road and right again to go Southwards onto the A500. We veered left onto Wheildon Road and we went to uncle Dave's. We dropped off uncle Dave and Matthew got out to use the toilet. Uncle Rob wasn't there tonight. He aslo had some Irn Bru and updated the calendar. Once we had dropped off uncle Dave we set off onto Wheildon Road and past the former Regent pub which is now up for sale.
