Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 to find that it was raining. He got dressed and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We got on to the bus and the bus set off onto the A5035. We went through Dresden and into Longton before crossing the A50. We went past the Gladstone Pottery Museum and across Uttoxeter Road and under the railway line before going left down a side street and onto Anchor Road. In Adderley Green we turned right and went past the First Bus garage. We carried on to Bentilee and we picked up another service user. After we had picked them up we headed back to Adderley Green and back down Anchor Road. At the bottom Anchor Road we zigged and zagged through side streets and we came out on King Street. We headed out of Longton and into Fenton, forwards onto City Road. We then turned left into Glebedale road and to our destination. In the morning Matthew spent time in the sensory room s using computers. We went to fetch dinner from the chip shop. For dinner he had sausage chips and gravy from the chips shop. In the afternoon we went to the pub on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We set off onto Glebedale Road and left onto City Road. At the bottom Just before the railway line We saw First Potteries 37160 on a #25 to Hanley. we joined the Northbound A52 and we past the railway station to Joiners Square. At the round about left onto Lichfield Street and to our destination. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 63097 on a #6A to Hanley.

Matthew listened to music on the Jukebox including a track from the Venga Boys. Whgen it was time to go back to the day centre Matthew climbed back aboard Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Palmerston Street and right onto the A52. We turned left onto Victoria Road and we went to the top before turning right onto the A50 link Road. Due to Station Bridge Road being closed for repairs, we went straight home without calling into Fenton first. We turned right onto the A50 high level and then left onto Blurton Road. We carried on into Blurton along Blurton Road and forward onto Church Road and we turned right onto A5035. We carried on over the railway line into Trentham and we turned right into New Inn Lane. After we dropped off another service user, we came back onto New Inn Lane and back onto the A5035. We got home around 14:45. Matthew had toast and a drink of dandelion & burdock whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. It was now sunny and almost cloudless. There had been a timetable change on Monday, and it appeared that we were back to 3 buses working the route all day. I had seen the turn 90 minutes before the one we were catching and it was dud First Potteries 67631. It turned the corner and as expected it was dud First Potteries 67631.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfields Road before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off and turned right onto the A5035. We noticed that the bus behind us was empty, so Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67631.

We crossed the railway into Trentham and we passed dud First Potteries 67604. As we turned right into New Inn Lane we saw First Potteries 53120 on a #21 to the Trentham Hotel. We went to the top of New Inn Lane and we turned right into Wilson Road. As we went along Wilson Road we passed First Potteries 53123 on a #21A to Trentham Gardens. We turned down Church lane and we passed City Cabs YE08 PYJ. We turned right onto the A34 and as we approached the A500 we saw First Potteries 53059 on a #21 to the Trentham Hotel. We crossed under the A500 into Trent vale and we passed First Potteries 65038 on a #10 to Stafford and Paul's of Stoke coach L232 BUT. We turned right into Harpfields Road and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67631 as it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked back onto the A34 and we noticed that mum hadn't got to the pub yet so we took our time walking down. A few minutes later we saw the third bus on the #22 service, dud First Potteries 67636.

Almost immediately we saw Stanton's of Stoke coach YJ04 BKF on a JCB academy service.

We saw mum drive past so we walked up to the pub to meet her and we went inside the pub. Matthew had a brunch with bread and butter followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included ABC Supreme minibus N806 CRJ, Roseville BG07 XCN and First Potteries 65033 on a #10 to Stafford. After we had finished eating we went to the car and Matthew called uncle Dave to tell him we were on the way. We set off down the A34 and then went onto the Northbound A500. At Sideway we went Eastwards on the A50. We headed though Heron Cross and we passed First Potteries 41498 on a #23A to Blurton. We went into Fenton and After picking uncle Dave up we went back up to Heron Cross. We crossed the A50 into Blurton and we saw Intercity SF08 BVH. We traveled through Blurton along Blurton Road passing Triumphant Christ Chapel BU04 EJK and Church Road. We turned into Beaconsfield Drive and we got home around 18:15. Matthew then chilled out on his computer until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
