Trip to Crewe / Lightwood 28-02-2018

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out to Crewe and Lightwood later on. Matthew got up and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting for time to got to the day centre Matthew spent time in his room watching buses. We saw First Potteries 42554 on a #11 to Newcastle. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street where we saw Intercity WF07 FFG.

We continued along Christchurch Street and into the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

In the morning Matthew went to JTF on foot. We set off onto Glebedale Road and left onto City Road. At the roundabout we turned right and walked past KFC and we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 229.

We carried on into JTF. Matthew went upstairs to the cafe and had toast and a drink of Coke. Once we had finished in JTF we continued to Crewe on Autocabs WJ12 GNY. We set off out of the car park and left onto City Road. We ran down the hill onto the A52 and we ran under the railway line. We joined the Northbound A500 and we continued past the M6 and to the Southern edge of Crewe. We turned right onto David Whitby Way and then left onto the A532. Before we got to the railway station we stopped at the new pub Brocklebank. Matthew went to the toilet and then Matthew had a Mixed Grill washed down with a glass of Coke. For afters Matthew had Lemon Meringue Pie. when we had finished eating we returned to Fenton We set off onto the A532 and we ran Eastwards along to the next roundabout. We ran Southwards down David Whitby Way and we turned left onto the Eastbound A500. We ran under the M6 and A34 and we continued Southwards into Stoke. We left the A500 onto the A52 and we ran under the railway line and onto City Road. we turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out and use his conputer. He also watched buses out of the window. We saw D&G Bus 112 on a #1A to Park Site.

The snow was really coming down heavily now. We saw Masons Mercedes minibus AIG 9792 going towards Longton.

For tea Matthew went out to the New Florence on Lucky Seven minibus PK09 JFX. We set off onto Christchurch street and we turned left onto Baker Street and left onto Glebedale Road. We ran up City Road and onto King Street before passing under the railway line into Longton. We ran along Market Street and we turned right onto Commerce Street before crossing over the A50 and onto Lightwood Road. We ran out of town and we crossed the roundabout before turning right into the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and then had an all-day breakfast and a glass of Coke. For afters Matthew had cake. When it was time to go back to the residential unit we returned in Lucky Seven minibus PK09 JFX. We set off along Lightwood Road and we ran into Longton before going along the high level A50. We got onto the main carriage way for a short while and we came off onto the A50 link road. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down to Smithpool Road. We turned left onto temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

Trip to Shrewsbury / Newcastle 27-02-2018

Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. Matthew was also going to Shrewsbury. Later on he would go to Newcastle. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Outside the residential unit was Shelton care Group DY08 FFX.

A short while later we saw First Potteries 67632 on a #11 to Newcastle. Around 09:00 we set off on bus to Shrewsbury. It was Z Carz minibus YJ62 RCO. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill under the railway line and then we got onto the southbound A500. We did the A500 right to the end and then we turned left onto the A519. We ran for a couple of hundred yards and then we turned right onto the A5182 by the Eddie Stobart depot. We ran Westwards along the the road until the end until we joined the Southbound A53. we ran through Whitmore and Baldwin's gate and then we joined the A51 by The swan with Two Necks. A couple of hundred yards later we turned left onto the A53 again. We ran through Loggerheads and then we went around the North side of Market Drayton. We crossed the A41 at Tern Hill. We were now out in open countryside and we ran along the fast newer sections of the road to Shawbury. Once we passed through the village we ran to the edge of Shrewsbury and then we stopped at a pub called the Two Henrys. For dinner Matthew had gammon, egg & chips washed down with a glass of Coke. For afters Matthew had Bakewell tart & cream. Afterwards Matthew went to the toilet. After we had finished we returned back to the day centre in Z Carz YJ62 RCO. We set off onto the A53 and we returned Northwards via Shawbury, Tern Hill and Loggerheads before we crossed the A51 by the Swan with Two Necks. We continued North through Baldwin's Gate and Whitmore. We turned right onto the A5182 and then we ran north up the A500. Northbound A500. We continued North to Stoke and we came off the A500 onto City Road. We ran up under the railway line and up the hill. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street. Once back at the residential unit Matthew went up to his room to use his computer and chill out. We saw D&G Bus 112 on a #1 to Meir.

Matthew went to Grandma's. We set off ontp Temple Street and we turned left onto Chrsitchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down to the A52. We went under the railway line and over the A500 into Stoke. We went around the one-way system and up Hartshill Road and into Harshill. We turned left onto the Avenue and we ran to the end where we turned right onto the A34. We turned off the A34 and we stopped at Grandma's house. Matthew went on the computer and had a can of Irn Bru. For tea Matthew had shepherds pie followed by treacle tart and custard. Matthew said goodbye to Grandma and we set off onto Occupation Street. We turned onto the A34 and we ran past Newcastle. Near to the KFC we turned left onto Robertson Avenue. We crossed forwards onto Douglas Road and forwards to the disco. We spent some time at the disco. Matthew went to the toilet and a glass of coke. After doing some dancing we returned to Fenton. We ran back to the A34 and we went South into Newcastle. We turned left onto the A527 and we ran up to the Jubilee Roundabout. We ran around the one-way system onto George Street and we ran into Hartshill. We ran down Hartshill Road into Stoke and we went around the one-way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 and onto City Road before going under the railway line. We climbed the hill and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

We then went to Lincoln. Transport for the trip it was Intercity BP08 KJN. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. At the end we turned right onto Station Bridge Road and we continued onto Heron Street. We crossed over the traffic lights and at the roundabout we joined the Eastbound A50. We ran eastwards to the M1 and we followed the A50 to the big roundabout at junction 24. We ran Norh Eastwards up the A453 to the edge of Nottingham and we got onto the A52. We ran around the South of Nottingham and we continued Eastwards along the A52 towards Grantham. At Bingham we joined the Northbound A46 and we ran through Newark. We continued along the A46 and up to Lincoln. We saw Stagecoach East Midlands 19303. We turned right onto Riseholm Road. We ran into town and parked up. Matthew went to the Waterside Shopping centre and visited the soft play area. For dinner Matthew went to buger King and had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Matthew returned to Fenton on Intercity BP08 KJN. We set off out of town onto riseholme Road and we joined the Westbound A46. We travelled through Newark and we continued down to the A52. We ran Westwards around the Southern end of Nottingham and we joined the WEstbound A453. We ran to the M1 and we crossed over the big roundabout onto the A50. We ran Westwards through Uttoxeter to the edge of Stoke -on-Trent and we ran through Meir and Longton to Heron Cross. We came off the A50 and we ran through heron Cross forwards onto Heron Street. We ran forwards onto Station Bridge Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Masterson Street and right onto Watkin Street. We ran onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. We saw Harry Shaw YN15 EKX going towards Stoke.

We came to pick Matthew up to take him out for tea. Mum was working so uncle Dave came today. after a short time getting ready we went down to the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill onto the A52. We ran down the hill under the railway line and over the A500 into Stoke town centre where we saw First Potteries 43875 on a #25 to Hanley. We ran around the one-way system and we ran up Hartshill Road through Hartshill. We continued along the A52 to the edge of town. We turned right into Albert Street and at the traffic light we turned right onto A53. A short time later we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and then we found uncle Dave who had saved us a table. I ordered the food and Matthew had a glass of Coke whilst we waited. The food arrived and Matthew had a burger and fries. He also helped us eating the some of my chicken new yorker. Whilst we ate we saw First Potteries 65729 on a #4 to Audley and Aimee's YN04 LHZ going towards Etruria. For afters Matthew had cookie dough Cheesecake minus the cookie dough and the choclate chips. When we had finished eating we returned to Fenton in the car. We turned left onto the A53 and ran through Basford down to Etruria. We turned left onto the A500. We came of the A500 in stoke and we turned left onto City Road. An we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road. We turned left Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went up to Matthew's room and we wrote some of the Blog. Matthew also drank a glass of orange squash. After doing a couple of entries I left and Matthew chilled out in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus later to Hanley and Newcastle. A new soft play area had also just opened in Hanley Market. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw First Potteries 67159 on a #23 to Hanley. A short time later we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX outside the yard.

We got on the bus and booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 and ran under the railway line. After crossing over the A500 we ran into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We followed the one-way system around onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland Street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we ran under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. After stopping briefly outside the railway station we turned right onto College Road and we ran up the hill through Shelton. We continued onto Cleveland Road and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we continued along Bethesda Street before turning right onto John Street. We ran up the hill into the bus station and onto stand. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. In the bus station we saw First Potteries 32649 on a #3 to Talke Pits.

We letft the bus station and we set off up Lichfield Street onto Tontine Street. We went to the sqaure and we visited Clinto Cards. Matthew then walked up to the Intu Potteries shopping centre to do some more shopping. Afterwards we walked around the corner to Wrights Pies where Matthew brought a sausage roll and a Manchester tart. Matthew sat in Tontine Square and ate his sausage roll and Manchester tart. Once We had finished eating we headed down to Stafford Street and we crossed over onto Piccadilly. We went left onto Bethesda Street anmd we went to the museum. Matthew went to the toilet and we saw First Potteries 63097 on a #18 to Leek. We walked along Bethesda Street and we turned left onto John Street. We saw First Potteries 41500 on a #8 to Ball Green.

Once First Potteries 67157 was ready we got on the bus and we booked to Fenton and sat down towards the back of the bus. Whilst we waited for departure time we saw First Potteries 67651 on a #25 to Keele.

We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Smithpool Road where we got up and got off the bus. We walked back up Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew chilled out in his room and used his computer. He also watched buses out of the window. We saw D&G Bus 114 on a #1 to Meir.

Later on we went out to Newcastle on the bus. We set off on foot onto City Road and we stopped at the bus stop outside the flats. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63175 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once in Newcastle we walked up Castle Walk to the end and we turned left onto Ironmarket. We stopped at one of the pubs and Matthew went to the toilet. Matthew had a glass of Coke. For tea Matthew had a plain burger and fries followed by sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. When we had finished we returned to the bus station down the High Street and along Hassell Street. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67604 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards then back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over City Road and we walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to use his computer and watch buses out of the window. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

At 09:00 we set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre and we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

At the day centre In the morning Matthew went Children's centres in Normacot. Transport for the trip was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. We contunued up past KFC and we turned right onto the A50 link road. We joined the Eastbound A50 and we travelled through Longton to Notmacot where we came off the A50. We turned right and crossed over the A50 onto Upper Normacot Road and we turned right onto Chaplin Road. We turned right onto Buccluech Road and we stoipped at the children's centre. Matthew went to the toilet and went to the cafe and had a can of Coke. When we had finished we returned to Fenton on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Beccleuch Road and we turned left onto Chaplin Road. We turned left onto Upper Normacot Road and we joined the Westbound A50. We came of the A50 at Heron Cross and we ran through the lights onto Heron Street. We followed the road around onto Station Bridge Road and forwards Glebedale Road and back to the day centre. For dinner Matthew had sausage chips and gravy followed by a Bakewell Tart. In the afternoon Matthew walked to the pub. We set off onto Christchurch Street we saw First Potteries 42553 on a #23 to Newstead. We went into the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Once we had finished in the pub we walked back to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Temple Street. Matthew went upstairs to wait for me to arrive and to use his computer. Whilst in his room he also watched buses out of the window. We saw First Potteries 63174 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We went out for a quick ride on the bus. We walked onto City Road and to the bus stop outside the flats and we waited for a First bus to Newcastle. Whiolst we waited we saw D&G Bus 44 on a #1 to Park Site.

A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 67655 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. Once off the bus we walked up Castle Walk and we stopped at The Card Factory. Matthew brought some things from there and walked back down Castle Walk to Wilko to do some more shopping. We continued down Castle Walk and into the bus station. In the bus station we saw First Potteries 65042 on the 101 to Stafford. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63099 on a #22 to Longton. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63101 on a #11 to Hanley. We booked to Fenton and as the rear of the bus the bus waiting to depart, we saw required Arriva Midlands 3694 on a #164 to Hanley. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 63101 before it continued to Hanley.

Once we watched the bus disappear into the distance we walked up City Road and cut through to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. For tea Matthew had sandwiches egg and bacon. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. He also watched buses out of the window. We saw Stanton's of Stoke BT66 TZE going towards Newcastle. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

At the day centre In the morning Matthew went out on the bus. We set off on City Road and then walked up to the bus stop outside the Marmaris takeaway. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63174 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. City Road and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We stopped outside the old job centre as the #11 no longer calls in the Interchange. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentilee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Beverley Drive. At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 and we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We ran around to Lichfield Street and we turned right to pull up outside the stop adjacent to the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and we Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 63174 on a #11 to Newcastle before going off into town.

Once off the bus we walked up Lichfield Street and forwards onto Tontine Street. We continued into Upper Huntbach Street and into the main entrance of the Intu Potteries shopping centre. Matthew walked down to the market and used the toilet. We went up the stairs and we visited shops. Once we had done we returned along Upper Huntbach Street and Parliament Row. Afterwards we went to Poundland and Matthew brought can of 2 bottles of Pepsi. onto When we had finished we returned to the bus station along Tontine Street and Lichfield Street. When we go back to the bus station. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67154 on a #23A to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned left onto Station Road and we ran part the railway station before going right onto Glebe Street. After a brief stop we continued forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the road around onto Church Street. We crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill we turned right onto Smithpool Road where we got up and got off the bus. We then walked up Temple Street. and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and watched buses. came to visit and they brought a bottles of Pepsi and some mini Battenburg cakes. Later on Matthew went to Stoke. Transport for the trip it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Masterson Street and we ran to the end. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and at the end we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hil into Stoke and we went under the railway line. We crossed over the A500 and we ran around the one-way system. We turned left onto London Road. We turned left onto Corporation Street and right onto Foden street. We stopped at the Baptist Centre and Matthew had a sausage sandwich. Matthew also had a can of Coke. Matthew went to the toilet and we returned to Fenton on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Foden Road and we turned left onto Corporation Street. We turned right onto London Road and we ran into Stoke. We set off onto the one-way system and we ran around Stoke onto Glebe Street. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed over the A500 onto City Road. We ran under the railway line and we ran up into Fenton. We had to pick food up for someone else so we ran up to the roundabout and we turned right into KFC. After picking up the food we returned onto City Road before turning left onto Glebedale Road. We turned right onto Baker Street and left onto Christchurch Street. We went onto Masterson Street and we turned right onto Watkin Street. We turned onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Once back at the unit Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. Whilst Matthew waited to got round to uncle Dave's he watched buses out of the window. We saw Meadows DX65 DND going towards Stoke.

Later on Matthew went to uncle Dave's in a car. We set off along Temple Street and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Wheildon Road and to uncle Dave's house. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots. Later on he had a drink of orange Fanta and a few digestive biscuits and custard creams. Uncle Dave now has a biscuit tin. Matthew chilled out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Willowdale Avenue. We crossed the spare ground and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. Matthew was also going to Congleton later. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw First Potteries 67156 on a #23 to Hanley. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

In the morning Matthew we to Norton Children's Centre on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. At the roundabout we turned sharp left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we went straight onto Lichfield street and we ran up the hill to Hanley. We joined the anti-clockwise ring road and we saw First Potteries 32639 on a #32 to Uttoxeter. We ran around the ring road and we came off at Town Road. After crossing over the ring road we ran out of town along Town Road and forwards onto the A5272. We continued through Sneyd Green to Smallthorne and at the roundabouts we turned right onto Ford Green Road. We ran down the hill through Smallthorne and we continued up the other side into Norton. At the top of hill we turned left onto Knypersley Road. We stopped at the childrens centre and Matthew went to the toilet. Matthew had a drink of Coke. Matthew used the soft play area. When he was done we returned to Fenton on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off along Knypersley Road and we turned right onto Ford Green Road. We ran down the hill and up the other side into Smllthorne and up towards the roundabouts. We turned left onto the A5272 and we ran through Sneyd Green and we saw First Potteries 67639 on a #7A to Biddulph. We carried on to Birches Head. We continued onto Town Road and we joined the clockwise ring Road. We ran around to Lichfield street and we went down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran up Victoria Road into Fenton. At the top of the hill we turned sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and back to the day centre. For dinner Matthew had jacket potato with beans followed by toffee cheesecake. In the afternoon Matthew went to the YMCA on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. we set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. At the roundabout we went sharp left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we went straight across onto Lichfield Street. We turned left onto Regent Road and left again onto Harding Road and to our destination. In the YMCA Matthew played football with his peers. After Matthew had finished we returned to Fenton on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Harding Road turned left onto Regents Road. At the end we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. At the roundabout we turned sharp right onto City Road. turned left onto Smithpool Road and we turned left and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and use his computer. He also watched buses out of the window. We saw D&G 113 on a #1A to Meir.

When it was time to go out we saw that it was City Cabs SH09 OMR. We got on the bus and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and then left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and forwards onto the A52 and under the railway line. We turned right onto the Northbound A500 and we ran up through Etruria and Longport to Talke. We came of the A500 onto the A34 and we ran Northwards up to Talke Pits. We continued onto the A5011 and forwards onto the A50. We ran past the Stanways Coaches depot and we turned right onto Church Lane. At the end we turned left onto the A34 and we ran to the edge of Congleton. We turned left onto Padgbury Lane and we stopped at the pub. Matthew had a chicken burger and fries with a glass of Coke. He also had chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When we had finished we returned to Fenton on City Cabs SH09 OMR. We set off onto Padgbury lane and we joined the Southbound A34. We ran South for a few mile past Kidsgrove and Talke Pits and we followed the road to the left and down to Talke where we joined the Southbound A500. We ran South through Longport and Eruria and we came off the A500 at Stoke. We went along the A52 under the railway line and forwards onto City Road up into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out and use his computer. Out of the window we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

Today we decided to stay local as Matthew wasn't in the best of health. We checked the weather and it was for cold mainly dry weather with some sunshine. Matthew got up just after 09:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We decided to go out on the 11:51 departure towards Newcastle. Just before twelve we said goodbye to mum and we walked all the way to the bus stop on Magdalen Road. Just before our bus arrived we saw First Potteries 67631 on a #22 to Longton. Bang on time the bus appeared and it was dud First Potteries 63101 on a #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and booked a Smart Day ticket at £5.30. This ticket is a multi-operator ticket valid throughout the North Staffordshire area. We sat down ear to the back of the bus and the bus set off onto the A5035. We went past the Trentham Hotel we turned right into New Inn Lane where we saw First Potteries 67159 was on the #21A to Hanley. Assuming we didn't hang around too long, we would be on this bus to Stoke. We got up to get off the bus at the man in Space and Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 63101 before it carried on to Newcastle.

Once we got off the bus we waited at the bus stop for a couple of minutes. A couple of minutes later we saw the First Potteries E200 MMC approaching. As expected it was First Potteries 67159 on the #21A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus travelled through Trentham up New Inn Lane and right into Hanford along Wilson Road. We ran down Mayne Street before joining the Northbound A34. We crossed under the A500 and we saw First Potteries 63172 on the final #22 turn to Longton. We turned onto London Road and as we headed towards Stoke We passed First Potteries 42554 on a #21A to Tretham Hotel. We got off the bus outside of Maplins and Matthew took another picture of this bus.

Once we got off the bus we walked towards The centre of Stoke. We went around the corner into Church Street to Stoke Cafe. Uncle Dave escorted Matthew downstairs to the toilet and I ordered the food. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. After we had finished eating we walked down Church Street to the Newcastle bus stop. On the way we saw First Potteries 41499 on a #11 to Newcastle.

When we got to the stop we waited for the the next Newcastle bus to appear. Whilst we waited we saw DE&G Bus 157n on a #9 to Biddulph. A few minutes later we saw a Scania approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 65005 on the #25 to Keele.

We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Church Street and off up the hill along Hartshill Road. We passed the Noah's Ark pub and Just after the pub we turned left by the Co-operative Food store and we headed to the hospital. We bounced our way through the hospital grounds over the severe speed bumps and we joined the North bound A34. We went around the roundabout at the bottom end of Newcastle and we turned right onto Barracks Road before entering the bus station from the Southern end. Once off the bus we saw D&G bus 142 on layover in between working on the #94 to Congleton.

We walked down to the bottom of the bus station to take a few pictures whilst we waited for a bus towards Tunstall. We saw First Potteries 32081 on a #98 to Ball Green. A few minutes later we saw D&G bus 149 on a #85 to Nantwich.

We walked up to the top of the bus station and we waited for the crowds to die down. We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we went upstairs. The rear of the top deck was empty so Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 37158.

We set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee roundabout onto the A527 and headed through Wolstanton. As we travelled North up the road we passed First Potteries 41502 on a #98 to Newcastle. We turned right onto Porthill Bank and we we went down the hill and over the A500. We passed the site of Funderpark and we went through Middleport and at Trubshaw Cross we went left onto Brownhills Road. We joined Tunstall High Street and at the top of the Road we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of 37158 before it carried on towards Chell Heath.

We walked a few paces down the High Street and we entered the Tunstall Cafe. Matthew went to the toilet and I ordered his toffee cheesecake and a can of Coke. Once Matthew had finished eating we said goodbye and we crossed the road. We wanted to go back towards either Hanley or Newcastle. We turned down First Potteries 65733 on a #3 to Hanley and we decided to wait for the next Newcastle bus. A few minutes later we saw dud First Potteries 67603 going Northwards to Crewe.

We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we went upstairs. We ran down the High Street past the new building on the right and forwards onto Brownills Road. We continued down the hill and at Trubshaw Cross we continued down through Middleport into Longport. We crossed over the A500 and we climbed up Porthill Bank. At the top we turned left and we ran through Wolstanton and May Bank. We ran into Newcastle and we crossed the Jubilee roundabout onto Barracks Street. We went into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. once in the bus station we had a look around to see what we might be able to catch. On Stubbs Street we saw D&G Bus 138 on layover, in between runs on the #94 to Congleton.

We decided that we wuld catch a bus to Hanley next. We saw First Potteries 65035 on a #101 to Hanley which we turned down.

We crossed the Jubilee Roundabout and onto the A53. We ran into Basford and over the A500. We ran down into Etruria and over the A500. We continued along the A53 and we turned left onto Forge Lane. We ran out along the Lane and we crossed over the canal before we returned back into Etruria along festival Way. We crossed under the A53 onto Etruria Road. We ran into Hanley and into the bus station. We let the bus empty and Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 65730.

Matthew went to the toilet and we missed a #7A to Biddulph. We decided to go up to the carpark and take a few pictures. We left the bus station and walked onto Lidice Way. We crossed lover John Street and we saw First Potteries 67632 on a #3 to Crewe.

We went into the bus station and we visited the Spar shop. Matthew had a can of Coke as well as a couple of chocltae bars. Once we had paid for the thing we went to the stand to see First POtteries Dart 43877 arrive on the #7A to Biddulph.

We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus waited for time before setting off out of the bus station. We went down John Street and onto Bethesda Street before we went across onto Marsh Street and then we turned right into Trinity Street. We turned left into Stafford Street and we continued forwards to Quadrant Road and we left Hanley along Town Road. We travelled through Sneyd Green and over Smallthorne roundabouts to Chell. At the roundabout we turned right and we ran down the A527 through Brindley Ford. We turned left to run through Brown Lees. We crossed over the A527 at Knypersley and we ran around through the housing estates of Biddulph before running into town via St John's Road, Colliers Way and up Wharf Road to the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 43877 before it carried on back to Hanley.

We went to the toilet and once we had finished there we headed up wharf Street to the High Street. In the High Street we saw Biddulph Taxi's DS65 TUY. We headed to the Kebab shop and we picked up a couple of portions of fries. We walked back to the bus stops and as we turned the corner we saw D&G Bus 158 on a #9 to Hanley.

We sat down and we ate the fries. Matthew washed them down with a can of Vimto. We just about finished and we saw First Potteries 67658 on a #7A to Hanley.

The bus set off onto High Street and we turned left at the roundabout onto St John's Road. We ran around the estate and we crossed over the A527 at Knypersley We ran through Brown Lees via the diversion route and we rejoined the A527 by the industrial estate. We ran down through Brindley Ford and to Fegg Hayes. We ran up the hill to Chell and we turned left onto High Lane. We ran back through Smallthorne & Sneyd Green into Hanley. When we got back to Hanley we got up and got off the bus. We walked down to the bottom end of the bus station and we saw First Potteries 66964 on a #25 to Keele which we decided to do.

When it was time we set off out of the bus station onto john Street and left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down through Shelton along Regent Road and College Road. We passed the railway station and we continued forwards onto the A52. We followed the road to the right under the railway line and we saw an unidentified Robin Hood coach. We crossed over the A500 entering Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got ot the bus station we got up and got off the bus. In the bus station we saw D&G 113 on a #1A to Park Site.

We stopped at the toilet and afterwards we crossed over Barracks Road onto Hassell Street where mum was waiting. We got in the car and Matthew had a bottle of Irn Bru. After a short while she appeared and we got in the car. We went around the outside of Newcastle and we stopped at the Dancing Octopus for chips. We drove back down the A34. We continued South Through Trent Vale and Hanford and we joined the Northbiuond A500. We came off the A500 at Sideway and we joined the Eastbound A50. At LOngton we came off the A50 to check out what was at Z Carz this evening. There was nothing on the spare ground and we turned left into Willow Row and we saw Z Carz minibus YJ61 GYZ.

We returned onto the A50 and We ran Westwards and we came off at Heron Cross. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton before turning right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Finstock Avenue and we stopped at the Co-operative food to pick up some things. We continued down Finstock Avenue and we got home around 19:00. For a late tea we had bangers and mash with carrots followed by a piec of cheesecake. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we did some more of the Blog and out our bus pictures online. Matthew went to bed around 01:00... Mark.
