Today we decided to re-visit Huddersfield. Matthew had wanted to go to Scarborough, but it was decided it was a little too far for us to drive, so we asked him if he wanted to go to Huddersfield. We have never started off at Huddersfield before, and we knew there was a car park above the bus station similar to Preston, so we decided to go there. Research consisted of checking the weather which was mainly sunny with some cloud, and checked the price of the West Yorkshire multi-operator ticket. We also downloaded a few of the different West Yorkshire bus maps, and found the location of a cafe where we could have something to eat. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We got ready and we set off onto the A5035 around 12:00. We turned right onto Stanley Matthew Way and we ran past the BET365 stadium where Stoke City were getting ready to play their first game of the 2019/2020 season against QPR. We joined the Westbound A50 and we headed towards the roundabout at Sideway. At the roundabout we turned right and we went Northwards up the A500. As we travelled up the A500 we saw Robinson's Y7 RCT, CS Chauffeurs P40 CSH, Aimee's KE05 MMF, MP Travel MP55 GEN & Edwards Coaches BU18 OTK(#528). We decided to come off the M6 at junction 20 and head onto the M56 as we had seen a sign for roadworks on the M62 and delays. We headed onto the A50 and we passed Lymm services before joining the Eatbound M56. Seen on the M56 was Selwyn's (NX) 240, silver minibus DX56 ZZG and blue minibus P40 HNT. We left the M56 and we travelled along the A5103 for a short distance before we joined the clockwise M60. Seen on the M60 was white minibus WX68 UUR, Transdev Burnley 2776(X43), and unidentified JH Coaches coach, 2 x York Pullman coaches & East Yorkshire 4 (060). We ran forwards onto the M62 and we headed up the hill towards Saddleworth. We left the M62 at junction 24 and we went Southwards down the A629 towards towards Huddersfield. We turned right onto Cleveland Road and left onto Marsh Grove Road. We turned right onto the A640 and we headed up towards the cafe. We ran past the cafe to the roundabout and we did a u-turn. We parked up near to the cafe and we went in. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a breakfast washed down with a bottle of Coke. When we had finished we returned to the car and we set off into town. We ran along the A640 and we crossed over the ring road and we saw Concierge Coach travel S30 CCT. I went back to see if the #203 was still in the bus station but it had now departed... There was only 2 places I thought they could be... I'd left them on the car park floor when I got my camera out or I had left them on the bus. I messaged mum to let her know the bad news. We decided that there was nothing we could do about it so we carried on with our bus journey. We waited for a bus and a few minutes later we saw Arriva Yorkshire 1495 on a #283 to Bradford.
