Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going to see Grandma later on and going to the pub and returning to Blurton for a long weekend. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Matthew watched buses whilst he waited to go out in the morning. We saw Temple Street church RX18 GZW parked up in the Street. Around 09:00 we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

In the morning we went to Longton. Transport for the trip was an Intercity taxi. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. We ran forwards onto King Street and we stopped at the charity shop to pic something up. We continued up through Foley and into Longton. We turned right onto Baths Road and we turned into Tesco. We got out of the taxi and we visited Carphone Warehouse. We cross ed over the Strand and went into the Bennett Precinct. We stopped at Brighthouse and we headed back onto the Strand via Nat West bank. We stopped at the cash machine and we wen into the market. We walked up the Strand and we visited Cafe Delight. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. We walked back past the bus station we saw First Potteries 67662 on a #22 to Newcastle. We got an Intercity taxi back to Fenton. We set off out of Tesco and onto Baths Road. We saw grey minibus SF19 OSD. We turned left onto King Street and we ran through Foley into Fenton. We continued onto City Road and we turned left onto Glebedale Road where part of the road is closed and back to the day centre. In the afternoon Matthew went to a coffee morning and ate cakes and won a box of biscuits in the raffle. When it was time to return to the residential unit we set of on foot onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Temple Street and we went into the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window before I came to pick him. We saw Boydons L19 BCL. just before 15:00 I came to pick Matthew up. After we got ready we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop by the flats to wait for the next bus to Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. Coming the other way we saw Trans Executive YJ07 DWV. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 63146 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus towards the hospital. A short time later we saw First Potteries 37158 on a #101 to Hanley.

We saw a bus heading towards the hospital. When it came into the bus station we saw it was First Potteries 65034 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on the bus and we booked to the Cherry Tree before sitting down towards the back of the bus. we saw First Potteries 67660 on a #22 to Longton. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we got up and got off the bus by the Cherry Tree. Once off the bus we headed up the hill towards Grandma's. We saw Stanton's of Stoke 7239 VT going towards Newcastle. At Grandma's Matthew had 2 cheese and bacon oatcakes and a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. When it was time to go we went to the pub in the car. We set off onto Occupation Street and we ran down the hill. We turned left onto the A34. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with custard. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included Paul's of Stoke Y15 POS, First Potteries 65027 on a #101 to Stafford, First Potteries 37158 on a #101 to Hanley, First Potteries 63118 on the final #22 turn to Longton and ABC Supreme KX13 DZL going towards Newcastle. When it was time to go we went o pick up uncle Dave. We set off onto the A34 and we headed towards Hanford. We joined the Northbound A500 and we ran up to Stoke. We did a u-turn wnd we headed back South and into Fenton. We picked up uncle Dave and we ran up to Heron Cross. we saw Paul's of Stoke W476 MKY heading towards the Britannia Stadium. We ran forwards into Blurton along Blurton Road. We turned right onto Church Road and we turned right into Beaconsfield Drive. We got home around 19:30. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we composed a few e-mails and sorted a few things out. We then chilled out on the sofa doing e-mails and writing the until bedtime around 01:00... Mark
