Trip to Buxton / Tideswell 31-12-2019

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus and it was New Years Eve. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Temple Street Church minibus RX18 GZW.

We went downstairs and got into car we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street Church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Baker Street and left onto Glebedale Road. We turned right onto City Road and we continued onto King Street. We ran through Foley and under the railway Bridge into Longton. We ran forwards onto Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 63382 in the depot. We turned left onto the A5272 and we ran through Bentilee to Bucknall. We continued onto the A52 and at the traffic lights we turned right onto the Northbound A5009. we ran through Abbey Hulton and Milton into Badderly Green and we joined the A53 at Stockton Brook. We ran through Endon and continued Northwards to Longsdon. We ran up to Ladderedge and we ran down the hill into Leek. We ran up the hill into Leek town centre and we continued onto Ball Haye Street. We turned right onto the A53 and we ran Eastwards out of town. We ran through Blackshaw Moor and we climbed the hill through Winkhill. We ran over the top of the moor through Flash and we ran down into Buxton. We continued into the town centre and we saw High Peak 695 on a #199 to Manchester Airport. We ran along Station Road and we parked up in the main car park in town. We saw Bentley's Coaches J99 BCL parked up. Once we got out of the car we to the pub for dinner. Matthew had chicken burger and chips washed down with a glass of Coke. For dessert Matthew had chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we walked to the market square to catch a bus. We saw High Peak 294 on a #190 to Whaley Bridge. We got on the bus and we brought a High Peak day ticket before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off from the Square along Terrace Road and we turned right onto Station Road. We ran forwards onto Spring Garden and we went forwards onto Fairfield Road. We ran Northwards out of town along the A6 and we turned right onto Waterswallos Road. We turned left onto Upper End Road and we ran through Upper End. We turned right onto Batham Gate Road and we ran forwards onto Smalldale Road. We ran through Smalldale and forwards onto Batham gate and at the end of the road we turned left. In Paek Forest we turned left onto the A623. We followed the road through Sparrowpit and we joined the Northbound A6. We turned left onto the B5470 and we ran into Chapel-en-le-Frith. We ran up to Morrisons and afterwards we turned left onto Hayfield Road. We crossed under the A6 and we continued into Chapel Milton. We continued along the A624 and we ran forwards onto the B6062. We ran through Chinley and we continued through Buxworth before joining the Southbound A6. We turned right onto Buxton Road and we ran Southwards into Whaley Bridge. We joined the B5470 and we turned right onto Elnor Lane. We ran to the terminus where we got up and got off the bus. We spent a couple of hours hanging around and we caught a bus back to Buxton. It was High Peak 510 on a #190 to Buxton. We got on the bus and brought a High Peak day ticket before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We ran Northwards up Elnor lane and we turned left onto the B5470. We turned right onto the A5004 and we ran Northwards through Whaley Bridge. We joined the Northbound A6 and we turned right onto the B6062. We ran through Buxwoth and Chinley and we ran forwards onto the A624. We went under the A6 and we ran down into Chapel-en-le-Frith. We turned right onto Market Street and we ran to Morrisons. After a brief wait we ran Eastwards out of town along the B5470. We joined the Southbound A6 and we turned left onto the A623. We ran through Sparrowpit and we continued Southwards to Peak Forest. We turned right onto Eldon Lane and we turned right onto Batham Gate. We ran through Smalldale and Peakdale and we turned left onto School Road. We ran through Upper End and forwards onto Upper End Road. We turned right onto Water Swallows road and we ran to the edge of Buxton. We turned left onto the A6 and we ran into town. We ran up Station Road and we turned left onto the A515. We got up and got off in Market Square. Once off the bus we looked for another bus to catch. We saw Stagecoach Yorkshire 36993 on a #65 to Sheffield. We got on the bus and we brought a High Peak day ticket before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off Southwards down the A515 and we turned left onto Dale Road. We ran to the end and we turned righ onto the Southbound A6. We ran fast for a few miles before turned left onto the B6049. We ran near to Blackwell and we continued up to Miller's Dale. Just South of Tideswell we turned right onto a lane and we ran into Litton. We turned around in the village and we headed back to the main road. We turned right and we ran Northwards into Tideswell where we got up and got off the bus. Once of the bus we visited a shop. Matthew brought a bottle of Coke and a bar of chocolate. We waited for a bus back towards Buxton. A short time later we saw Stagecoach Yorkshire 36989 on a #65 to Buxton. We got on the bus and we flashed the High Peak day ticket to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off Southwards down the B6049 and we turned left onto the lane into Litton. After turning around we headed back to the B6049. We joined the Southbound B6049 and we ran through Miller's Dale and close to Blackwell. We turned right onto the Northbound A6 and we ran towards Buxton. We ran into the town centre and we turned right onto Station Road. We turned left onto the A515 and we stopped at the Market Square where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we looked for something else we could do before we went home. We saw High Peak 295 on a #442 to Ashbourne. We got on the bus and we flashed the High Peak day ticket to the driver before we sat down. The bus set off Southwards down the A515 and we turned right onto Harpur Hill. We ran forwards onto Barlow Road and we ran Southwards. We went though Barlow's Bar and we continued along the B5053. We turned left onto Dale View and we ran Southwards through Earl Sterndale. We continued South Eastwards and we turned right onto Tagg Lane. We ran down the hill into Crowdecote and we ran fordwards onto High Street and into Longnor. We turned right and we ran Southwards down Buxton Road to Warslow. After going into the village we headed Eastwards through Hulme into Hartington. where we got up and got off the bus. We waited in the square for the next bus to Buxton. A short time later we saw High Peak 291 on a #442 to Buxton. We got on the bus and we flashed the High Peak day ticket to the driver for the final time today before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off Westwards through Hulme and into Warslow. We turned around in the village and we headed North up Buxton Road into Lognor. We turned right onto the High Street and we headed Eastwards and into Crowdecote. We climbed the hill out of the village and we ran Eastwards a few miles before turning left and headed up to Earl Sterndale. We turned right onto the B5053 and we ran Northwards through Barlow's Bar. We ran up towards Harpurs Hill and we joined the Northbound A515. We ran into the centre of Buxton where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked along Spring Garden and back to the car park. We got in the car and we set off onto Station Road. We ran forwards onto the A53 and we headed Westwards out of town. After passing the junction of the A54 we climbed up the hill and out of Derbyshire into Staffordshire. We ran through Flash and Winkhill and we ran down the hill into Blackshaw Moor. We continued into Leek and we ran past Lidl and the new KFC site and we turned left onto Ball Haye Street. We ran onto the A53 and we ran Southwards out of town. We climbed up the hill towards Ladderedge and we ran down the other side into Longsdon. We continued Southwards through Endon and we veered left onto the A5009. We ran through Milton and Abbey Hulton and into Bucknall. At Limekiln light we ran forwards onto the A52. We crossed over the roundabout at Joiners Square and we ran towards Stoke. We ran alongside the railway line and we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill in to Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew chilled out in his room for a while. Later on Matthew attended a new Years Eve party. We went downstairs and the main lounge was filled with food. Matthew ate egg sandwiches and a burger followed by lots of cake! He also drank a bottle of Coke. Matthew stayed up until after midnight in order to see in the new year. Happy New Year 2020! Matthew went upstairs and we to bed around 00:30... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus and going for tea with me and mum and uncle Dave. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw D&G Bus 112 on #1 to Meir.

In the morning Matthew visited the health centre before going out on the bus. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street where we saw D&G Bus 121 on a #40 to Longton. We turned left onto Baker Street and we crossed over Glebedale Road and visited the health centre. After we had finished we set off onto onto City Road and we walked down to the stop outside the flats. We waited for a bus to Hanley. Whilst we waited we saw Afford rent-a-car MK67 UET.

A few minutes later we saw a bus come around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Lichfield Street and forwards onto Tontine Street. We continued onto Tontine Square and into the Intu Potteries Shopping centre. We turned left onto Stafford Street. We continued forwards onto Bryan Street and we went to Cineworld. Matthew had a cup of Coke and some popcorn. He went to the toilet and afterwards he saw The Frozen 2 at the cinema. When he had finished we set off back down Bryan Street. When we had finished we set off through the shopping centre. We walked down Tontine Street and we went forwards onto Lichfield Street and into the bus station. we saw First Potteries 44514 on a #7A to Biddulph. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67158 on a #23 to Newstead.

We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street we saw Harry Shaw YR17 CYL at the depot. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we cut through to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window before going out for tea later on. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street and left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and under the railway line before we crossed over the A500. We went around the one-way system in Stoke town centre and we turn ed left onto Lonsdale Street. We turned right onto Fleming Road and left onto London Road. we turned left onto Wolseley Road. London Road. We went around the one way system onto Church Street we turned right onto Liverpool Road and right onto Elenora Street. We turned right onto Copeland Street and we followed the one-way system around onto Glebe Street. We went under the railway line and we turned left onto Station Road. We ran to the end and we turned right onto Stoke Road. We ran up the hill and we went forwards onto Etruria Vale Road. We turned left onto Shelton New Road and we stopped at the college. After a brief stop we turned left onto Cemetery Road and left onto Stoke Road. We ran up the hill to Snow Hill and we went forwards onto onto Broad Street. We turned left on to the ring road and left onto Etruria Road. We crossed under the A53 and into Festival Park. At the roundabout we turned right and we went to the retail park to visit Poundland. In the news recently they are planning to build a new Lidl store on the A53 next to Festival Park. Once we had finished shopping we left Festival park and we went under the flyover onto the Westbound A53 onto Etruria Vale Road. We turned right onto Shelton New Road and left onto Cemetery Road. We turned left onto Caledonia Road and right onto Stoke Road. We turned left onto Station Road and we ran forwards onto the A52. We turned left onto City Road and we went up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Around 16:30 we went came to pick up Matthew to go out for tea. Matthew came downstairs and we went to pick up uncle Dave. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Wheildon Road and we ran down the hill and picked up uncle Dave. under the railway line towards Stoke and we joined the Northbound A500. We turned right onto City Road and we went under the railway line. We turned left to follow the A52 towards the railway station and we continued towards joiners Square. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran towards Hanley. We joined the anti-clockwise ring road and we ran around to the other side of Town We exited the ring road onto Town Road and we ran towards Birches Head. We continued onto the A5272 and we ran through Sneyd Green. We turned right onto the A53 and we ran Northwards up to the pub. We pulled into the car park and and parked up. Matthew went to the toilet and mum and uncle Dave found a table. After Matthew had sat down we ordered the food. Matthew had gammon egg and chips washed down with a glass of Coke. For dessert Matthew had red velvet cheesecake with custard. When we had finished we set off onto the Northbound A53 and we turned right onto Newford Crescent. We turned right onto Maunders Road and we ran forwards onto Millrise Road. At Milton Crossroads we turned right onto the A5009 we ran through Abbey Hulton into Bucknall and we ran forwards onto the A52. We crossed over Joiners Square roundabout and we continued towards stoke. Near to the railway station we followed the A52 alongside the railway and under the railway line. We joined the Southbound A500 and we veered left onto Wheildon Road. We ran forwards onto Grove Road and at Heron Cross we turned right onto Blurton Road. We crossed over the A50 and we ran through Blurton. We turned right onto the Church Road and right onto the A5035. As mum wasn't very well we dropped her of in Blurton before returning to Fenton. We set off onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton. We crossed over the A50 and into Heron Cross. We ran forwards onto Heron Street and we continued onto Station Bridge Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and left onto Masterson Street. We turned right on to Watkin Street and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to Matthew's room and we wrote some of the Blog. Matthew also drank a bottle of Irn Bru. After doing a couple of entries I left and Matthew chilled out in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus to Leek. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street where we got up and got off the bus. In the bus station we saw First Potteries 67155 on a #3 to Crewe. Once off the bus we walked up Lichfield Street and forwards onto Tontine Street. We had a walk around Tontine Square and we returned down Tontine Street and onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for the next bus to Leek. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63114 on a #18 to Leek.

Whilst we waited for departure time we we saw First Potteries 67660 on a #3 to Crewe. We set off out of the bus station onto john Street and we ran down the hill to Bethesda Street. We ran past the museum and we ran forwards onto Marsh Street. We turned right onto Trinity street and at the top of the hill we turned left onto Stafford Street. We ran forwards onto Quadrant Road and we went across the ring road along Town Road. We ran forwards onto the A5272 and into Sneyd Green. We turned right onto Milton Road and we ran down the hill before turning left onto Berwick Road. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A53. We ran North through Badderley Green and into Stockton Brook. We continued into Endon and then we ran out into open countryside. We climbed the hill into Longsdon and we ran down Ladderedge into the Churnet Valley. We ran up the hill into the town centre and we turned right into Leonard Street. We turned into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once we were in Leek we walked through the shopping centre onto the A53 and we saw Leek Link THZ 5348. We turned left onto Derby Street and right onto Bath Street and we went to the cash machine. We returned onto Derby Street and we walked down to the Square. We crossed over the Square onto the A523 and we visited the pub. We went to the toilet. Afterwards we went down St Edwards Street and we turned left onto Derby Street. We walked past the square and we stopped for dinner. Matthew had a sausage roll and a bottle of Coke. We walked to the end of Derby Street and we stopped at the benches at the end to eat the sausage roll and drink the bottle of Coke. When we had finished we returned to the bus station to wait for the next bus back to Hanley. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we saw the bus. It was First Potteries 63096 on a #18 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto the A523 and we turned left onto the A53. We ran down the hill out of town and own into the Churnet Valley before running up the hill through Ladderedge. We ran down the other side into Longsdon and we ran through open countryside for a mile or 2 before going into Endon. We ran down through Stockton Brook into Badderley Green. We continued South to Sneyd Green and we turned left into Berwick Road. We turned right onto Milton Road and we ran up the hill to the A5272. We turned left and we headed into Hanley. We entered town along Quadrant Road and we ran along Stafford Street and past the town hall into Bagnall Street. We ran into the bus station and then we got up and got of the bus. Once off the bus we had a quick walk around Hanley. We walked up Lichfield Street and forwards onto Tontine Street. We Crossed Tontine Square and we went to The Works. When we had finished in The Works we walked down onto Stafford Street and we walked forwards onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station to wait for a bus back to Fenton. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 165 on a #23 to Blurton.

We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we saw First Potteries 63178 on the final #18 turn to Leek. we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street. We crossed the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we cut through to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window. For tea Matthew had ham sandwiches and potato waffles followed by a slice of chocolate cake. Later on we went downstairs and we went out in a car to the pub. We set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and under the railway line into Stoke. We crossed over the A500. We went around the one-way system. We ran up the hill into Hartshill and we continued to the edge of Newcastle. We turned right into Albert Street and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a glass of Coke. Later on we returned to Fenton by car. We set off on to George Street and we ran forwards onto the A52. We ran down the hill into Stoke and we turned left onto Liverpool Road. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 onto City Road and we went under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and we went Matthew went to his room to chill out. He watched television and used his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going to Manchester later on by train. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting for time to got to the day centre Matthew spent time in his room watching buses. We saw First Potteries 63116 on a #11 to Newcastle. We went downstairs and we walked out onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we waited for a bus to Stoke. We saw a bus approaching and as it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67152 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went into the railway styation and we crossed over onto platform 2 to wait for a train to Manchester. We got on the train and we set off Northwards towards Manchester. It was an express train so the first stop was Macclesfield. We continued Northwards and we stopped at Stockport. and we continued Northwards into Manchester Piccadilly. Once of the train we walked out of the railway station. We saw Go North West 59001 on the #2 circular service.

We walked back to the railway station and we waited for a train back to Stoke-on-Trent-. After a short while we got on the train and we found a seat. We set off Southwards out of Manchester Piccadilly and we ran fast down to Stockport. After a station stop we continued Southwards to Macclesfield. We ran fast through Congleton and Kidsgrove to Stoke-on-Trent where we got up and got off the train. Once off the train we walked out of the railway station and we crossed over the road to wait for a bus back to Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67153 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Station Road and past the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we cut through to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. for tea Matthew had sausages and chips followed by a slice off cheesecake. Later on Matthew went out in the car to Newcastle. We set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and under the railway line into Stoke. We crossed over the A500 and we saw Global Travel BIG 8768. We went around the one-way system. We ran up the hill into Hartshill and we continued to the edge of Newcastle. We ran down George Street and we ran forwards onto Ryecroft. We joined the Southbound A34 and we turned right onto the A525. At the traffic lights we followed the A525 to the right and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a glass of Coke. When we had finished the drink we returned to Fenton by car. We got in the car and we set off towards Newcastle along the A525. We turned left onto the Northbound A34 and right onto Ryecroft. At the roundabout we ran forwards onto the A53. We followed the on way system onto the A52 and we ran towards Hartshill. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 onto City Road and we went under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going to Hanley later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Temple Street Church minibus RX18 GZW.

Around 09:00 we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group BL69 RFF.

In the morning Matthew did cookery and made a Victoria sponge. He also did some cleaning and used a mop. For dinner Matthew had sausage chips and gravy followed by a slice of Victoria sponge. In the afternoon we went to the pub on Shelton Care Group BL69 RFF. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. At the roundabout we turned sharp left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout onto Lichfield Street and to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a a glass of Coke. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 67665 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge and Luck Seven YD63 VWR. After we had finished in the pub we returned to Fenton in Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Palmerston Street and we turned right onto the A52. We turned left at Joiners Square roundabout and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the roundabout we turned sharp right onto City Road. We stopped near to the health centre and we got up got off the bus to walk down to the residential unit. We walked down City Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned right into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and watch buses. We saw Intercity SJ57 AVZ going towards Hanley.

We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. where we saw A1 Embassy GJ17 OCR. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked up Lichfield Street We turned left onto Stafford Street. We continued forwards onto Bryan Street and we went to Cineworld. Matthew had a hot dog and Coke. He went to the toilet and afterwards he saw Spies in Disguise at the cinema. When he had finished we set off back down Bryan Street onto Stafford Street we saw First Potteries 65706 on a #18 to Leek. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we saw First Potteries 65028. We headed into the bus station and we waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67152 on a #23 to Newstead.

We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked back to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out on his computer. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today it was Christmas eve and Matthew was in Blurton getting ready for Christmas tomorrow. We also decided to have a run out on the bus for dinner. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast and apple juice for breakfast. Uncle Dave arrived and I popped out to the shops to get some last minute food shopping before Christmas. When I got back Matthew had already got dressed and was getting the rip bag ready! We packed a few emergency snacks and batteries and we set off on foot to the bus stop all the way over on Beaconsfield Drive. We got to the bus stop a little early and we saw First Potteries 67157 heading towards Newstead. We waited for around 15 minutes and we saw First Potteries 63117 on a #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked the Knot ticket at £7 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Beaconsfield Drive and we ran to the end we turned left onto Church Road. We ran to Critchlow's Corner and we veered left onto Blurton Road running through Blurton. We crossed the A50 and at Heron Cross lights we went forwards onto Heron Street. We followed the road around onto Station Bridge Road. We turned left at Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke where we stopped for a short while. We saw First Potteries 63118 on a #11 to Newcastle. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street. Once in the bus station we saw required First Potteries 65030 on a #18 to Leek. We got up and got off the bus and by the time we got to stand G the #18 had departed. There was a 25 minute wait for the next #18 so we saw required D&G Bus 38 on a #8B to Brown Edge.

We decided to do that instead, so we got on the bus and we flashed The Knot ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. After a brief wait we set off out of the bus station on to John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we crossed over Broad Street onto Marsh Street. We turned right onto Trinity Street and left onto Stafford Street. We ran forwards onto Quadrant Road and we passed First Potteries 65029 on a #18 to Hanley. At the roundabout we veered left onto Town Road and we crossed over the ring road. We continued out towards Birches Head and we continued onto the A5272. We ran through Sneyd Green up to Smallthorne and we turned right onto Ford Green Road. We ran down Smallthorne Bank and we ran through the traffic lights and up the hill towards Norton. We continued through Norton Green and into Brown edge where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 38 before it continued towards the end of the run on the #8B.

I had worked out that if we did the bus to Brown Edge we could walk though to the A53 and intercept the following #18 to Leek. We set off along the B5051 and we turned right onto Willfield Lane. We turned right onto Ball Lane and left onto Edgefield Lane. We walked along this rural one-way system and forwards onto Moss Hill. We walked down the bank to the main road and when we got to the A53 we turned left to walk to the bus stop. We checked the First Bus app and we had about 2 minutes to wait for the next bus. As it got closer we saw it was required First Potteries 65029 on a #18 to Leek as expected.

We got on the bus and we flashed The Knot ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off Northwards up the A53 and we saw Trinity Court MA08 JFZ. We continued through Endon past The Plough and we got onto the fast section of road. We ran up to Longsdon and Ladderegde and we ran down the hill into the valley. We ran over the old railway line and we went up the hill into the centre of Leek. We turned right onto Leonard Street and left into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 65029 before returning back to Hanley on a #18.

We walked through the bus station onto the A53 and we crossed over the road. We walked around the corner onto Derby Street and we walked through the centre of Leek. We went forwards onto Sheep Market and we turned right onto St Edwards Street. We walked to the opposite corner and we went into the pub. After using the toilet we found a table in a very busy pub and I went to order food and drinks at the bar. For dinner Matthew had a Buttermilk chicken fillet burger and chips washed down with a glass of Coke. For afters Matthew had a slice of chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. Once we had finished eating we set off back towards the bus station. We came out off the pub and we walked Eastwards along the A523. We turned right onto Market Square and we walked across the square onto Derby Street. We walked to the end and we crossed over the A53. We walked through the precinct into the bus station and just as we got there we saw First Potteries 65030 on a #18 to Hanley.

The bus set off out of the bus station onto A523 and we turned left onto the Southbound A53. We ran over the old railway line and past Morrisons and we ran out of the town and up the hill to Ladderedge. We continued onto Longsdon and through the fast section of road down towards Endon where we saw Leek Link LT63 CXN in the petrol station. We ran through Endon into Stocton Brook and we continued into Badderley Green where we passed First Potteries 67661 on a #18 to Leek. We crossed over the old railway line again and we ran up to Sneyd Green where we turned left onto Berwick Road. We turned left onto Milton Road and we ran up the hill. We turned left onto the A5272 and we ran past Central Forrest Park into Birches Head. We ran forwards onto Town Road and we crossed over the ring road. As we ran onto Quadrant Road we passed First Potteries 65031 on the final #18 turn to Leek. We wen forwards onto Stafford Street and we saw First Potteries 65728 on a #3 to Crewe. We ran past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street and we entered the bus station. We let the bus empty out and Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 65030 before we got off.

Once off the bus Matthew visited the toilet before we walked down to stand S to wait for the next bus to Blurton. Whilst we waited for out bus we saw Edwards BX16 CHV on a #528 to Rochdale. A short time later we saw First Potteries 65002 on a #25 to Keele. Eventually our bus approached the stand. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67152 on a #23 to Newstead.

We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. We ran forwards onto Heron Street and we went through the traffic lights onto Blurton Road. After crossing over the A50 we continued through Blurton. We turned right onto Church Road and right onto Beaconfield Drive. We ran to the other end and we got up and got off the bus. We ran through Blurton along Blurton Road abd we joined the Eastbound A50. We came off at Longton to see what was parked up at Z Carz. On Edensor Road we saw Intercity PK57 PWL parked up opposite to Lucky Seven.

We turned around and got back onto the A50 and we turned left onto Heathcote Street, passing D&G Bus 133 on a #40 to Longton. We continued onto Longton Hall Road and we turned left onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton. We ran forwards onto Church Street and we turned right into Beaconsfield Drive. We got home around 16:00. We spent time doing the e-mails and doing the Blog. for tea we had a ham roll and a piece of a sausage roll. Later on we dropped dropped uncle Dave off at his house. We set off through Blurton onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. We ran through Blurton on Blurton Road and into Heron Cross. We dropped down into Fenton and we stopped at uncle Dave's for a few minutes. Matthew added to uncle Dave's calender and ate a Viscount biscuit. Once we finished at uncle Dave's we ran up to Heron Cross and we into Blurton along Blurton Road. We turned right onto The A50 and we joined Stanley Matthews Way. At the Southern end we turned left onto the A5035 and we got home around 19:30. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we composed a few e-mails and sorted a few things out. We then chilled out on the sofa doing e-mails and writing. Later on Matthew had a bath and then chilled out until bedtime around 01:00... Mark
