Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre. When it was time to go out we went downstairs and onto Temple Street. We turned cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Hanley. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching and we saw it was First Potteries 67175 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off up City Road and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. We turned left onto the A5272 and and we ran through Bentilee and we turned left onto Beverley Drive and due to a diversion we came back down beverley Drive and left onto the A5272 and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Road and right onto John Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus to Trentham. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67180 on a #11 to Newcastle. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 67148 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on the bus and we booked to Trentham before we sat down. We set off out of the bus station and we ran down John Street and left onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto the clockwise ring road and we turned left onto Broad Street. We ran down to snow hill and at the roundabout we turned Shelton New Road. We ran over the canal and railway line. We ran through the cross road up to Hartshill and at the roundabout we ran into Newcastle down George Street. We joined the one-way system and at the next roundabout we turned left onto Barracks Road. We turned right into the bus station. After a brief stop we Continued onto Barracks Road and forwards onto the Southbound A34. We ran past the hospital into Trent Vale and under the A500 into Hanford. We continued into Trentham and when we got opposite to the old Trentham Gardens entrance we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went to across the road the road and into Trentham Gardens. we walked around the North end of the lake and we went to Totally delicious. Matthew had a ham sandwich washed down with bottle of Coke. Afterwards Matthew had an ice cream in a waffle cone. After finishing eating Matthew went to the toilet. Once we had finished eating we walked back through the main gate and onto the A34 opposite the A5035. We turned left and walked along the A34 to the old Gardens entrance where the bus stop is situated. We waited for a bus back towards Hanley. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 35934 on a #101 to Stafford. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 523 on a #100 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down. We set off Northwards up through Hanford along the A34 and we got to the Northbound A500. The A50 appeared to be busy so we carried onto the Stoke and we turned right onto Church Street and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we got up and got off the bus and Matthew took a picture of D&G Bus 523 as it continued towards Hanley.

Once off the bus we got in the car and we set off up to the A52 and we ran alongside the railway line before turning left onto City Road and we went under the railway line and up the hill into Fenton. We turned left at Victoria Road and we ran down the hill. We crossed over the roundabout at Joiners Square onto Lichfield street and we ran up the hill towards Hanley. We went around the ring-road and we got onto the A50. We ran through Burslem and around the back of Tunstall High Street and we continued down to Asda and we did some shopping. After we had done the shopping we got in the car and we set off onto Woodland Street and past the site of the new McDonalds. We turned left onto High Street and we turned left into Williamson Street. We turned right into Scotia Road and we ran into Burslem town centre. We ran past the site of the new Kiln Gate Retail park and we continued into Cobridge. We ran down the hill to the edge of Hanley and we went around the ring road to Lichfield Street. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we turned right onto the A52. We ran forwards past the railway station and we veered left towards Fenton. We turned left onto City Road and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Mathew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses before going out later on. He also watched buses out of the window. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we saw Afford rent-a-car YM69 LGL outside there yard. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was First Potteries 67142 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked around the corner onto Campbell Place and we walked up to Sainsbury's. Matthew brought a valentine's day card in Sainsbury's and afterwards we walked back along Campbell Place and we turned right onto Church Street. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 63346 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill and in the petrol station. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Whilst we continued up Castle Walk and we turned right into Ironmarket. We stopped at the pub and matthew went to the toilet before having a glass of Coke. Matthew also had tea. He had a burger and fries followed by a chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When we had finished we returned onto Ironmarket and we turned right onto Castle Walk and into the bus station. We got a Lucky Seven taxi back to Fenton. We set off onto Stubbs Street and we turned left onto Barracks Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A53. We ran around the one-way system and we turned left onto the A52. At the end of George Street we veered left onto Shelton New Road and we ran towards Shelton. We crossed over the A500 and we turned right onto the Southbound carriageway. We came off the A500 near to Hyde Park corner and we turned left onto City Road. We ran under the railway line and up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road, left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to Matthew's room and Matthew chilled out in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
