Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group YS70 KWG. We went downstairs and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Hanley. On the way to the bus stop we saw Afford rent-a-car MA24 PXK parked up in the garage.

A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching and we saw it was First Potteries 63360 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off up City Road and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We turned left onto Upper Cross Street and we turned right onto Wood Street. We turned left onto Ashwood and we turned right onto Longley Road. We turned left onto Heathcote Street and we turned right onto Galsworthy Road. We turned right onto Bambury Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentilee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Beverley Drive. At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 and we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Road and we turned right onto John Street. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Matthew visited the toilet. We crossed over Lichfield Street and we crossed over the ring road. We visited the chip shop and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a Coke. When we had finished we crossed over the ring road and crossed over Lichfield Street. We went into the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Newcastle. As short time later we saw a bus approach the stand. We saw it was First Potteries 35937 on a #25 to Keele.

We got on the bus and we booked to the Keele before we went upstairs and we sat down. We set off out of bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and left onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned left onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned right onto College Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned left onto Station Road and we past the railway station. We ran forwards onto the A52 and we ran alongside the railway line before turning right onto City Road. We crossed over the A500 and we ran into Stoke centre along Church Street. We went out of the other side of Stoke and up Hartshill Road into Hartshill. We turned left into The Avenue and we ran down to Hilton Road and we turned right into the hospital where we ran through the hospital and we turned right onto the A34. We ran up to Newcastle and forwards onto Barracks Road at the roundabout. We came into the bus station we got up and got off the bus. We set off on foot along Barracks Road to the roundabout. They have nearly completed construction of the flats on the Jubilee roundabout. We walked through Queens Gardens onto Ironmarket and we turned left onto High Street. We stopped st Poundland and Matthew picked up a can of Coke. When we had finished shopping we walked along Hassle Street back to the bus station. Matthew went to the toilet and went back to the bus station to wait for a bus to Longton. A short time later the bus came on stand. We saw it was First Potteries 67145 on a #22 to Longton.

We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road and we ran Southwards onto the A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the the grounds. We turned right onto Hilton Road and forwards onto Harpfields Road. We ran to the end and we turned left onto the Southbound A34. We ran under the A500 into Hanford and we turned left onto Church Lane. We climbed to the top of the hill and we turned right onto Wilson Road. We turned left onto New Inn Lane and we ran into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035 and we crossed over the railway line into Blurton. We passed the end of Stanley Matthew Way and we turned left onto Magdalen Road. We turned right onto Finstock Avenue and left onto Beaconsfield Drive and we continued along Beaconsfield Drive and we ran through the estate to the other end. We turned left onto Church Road and at the the roundabout we turned left onto Blurton Road. We ran to the bottom of the hill and we turned right onto Longton Hall Road. We ran up the hill and we ran forwards onto Heathcote Street. We turned left onto the high level A50 and at the roundabout we turned right onto Baths Road. We ran past Tesco before turning right into Longton Interchange. We got off the bus and we saw Stanton's of Stoke EXZ 535 on the Go2 to Cheadle.

We cut through onto The Strand and past fromer Barclays. We walked to Market Entrance. Matthew went to the toilet and we walked through onto The Strand and we ran under the railway line onto King Street to wait a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 44514 on a #6 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road and we saw the Burger King starting to take shape. We turned right into Victoria Road and we got up and got off the bus. One off the bus we set off on foot onto Hitchman Street. We turned left onto Fountain Street and onto City Road and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out. Around 15:00 we arrived to pick Matthew up. We got ready and went downstairs. We said goodbye to mum and we cut through onto City Road and headed to the bus stop. We saw Afford rent-a-car BF24 YDM parked up in the garage.

We walked to the bus stop and we waited for a bus towards Newcastle. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63172 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill and we ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we haded down to the bottom end of the bus station to see what we might catch. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 6001 on a #9 to Westbury Park.

We considered catch the Longton bus so we walked up to the stop. Also seen was First Potteries 67180 on a #22 to Longton.

There were alot of people waiting for the #22. As we waited we saw another bus approaching. As it came on stand we saw it was First Potteries 63356 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to the hospital before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we turned left onto the Southbound A34. We got up and we got off the bus outside the Cherry Tree. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 63356 as it continued towards Hanley.

We crossed over the A34 and we walked up to the hill towards grandma's. On the way we saw white minibus YX02 FTD. We continued up the hill and into grandma's house. At Grandma's Matthew had toast and a can of Irn Bru. When it was time to go we said goodbye to Grandma and we got in the car. We set off just before 18:00 and we ran down Victoria Street. We turned left onto the A34. We continued southwards into Trent Vale past the Greggs. We continued through Trent Vale and we stopped at the pub. We walked into the pub and we sat down at our one our normal tables. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Highlights of the bus sightings included First Potteries 63250 on a #101 to Hanley, Lucky Seven MK18 UZE going Northwards and ABC Supreme HV24 LSY heading Southwards. Once we had finished eating we set off We carried on along the A34 through Hanford and into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line and into Blurton. We got back around 19:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. We wrote the Blog and sent a couple of e-mails. Matthew drank a bottle of Dandelion & Burdock. Later on Matthew had a Twirl and a can of Cherry Coke. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
