Trip to Stoke / Newcastle 17-11-2025

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus later. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Clifton Street and forwards onto Crawford Street and we turned left into the back alley. We turned right onto George Street and we turned right onto Welby Street and we turned left into the Watkin Street. We turned right onto Temple Street we saw Just Travel HG19 FHJ. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67146 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked along Church Street. We crossed over the road into the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. We crossed back over Church Street and forwards onto Campbell Place. We stopped at the cafe on the corner of Hide Street that used to be called the London Grill. For dinner Matthew had a sausage bap and a can of Coke. We walked along Campbell Place and we had finished eating we went next door to Dougie Mac charity shop we and Matthew bought some boots. We walked along Campbell Place and we stopped at British Heart Foundation Furniture & Electrical. Once we set off back along Campbell Place and we went next door to Sports Direct and Matthew bought some boots. We walked down Campbell Place and we turned right onto to the Newcastle bus stop. When we got to the stop we waited for the the next Newcastle bus to appear. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63102 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on his computer. We went downstairs and we got into the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Baker Street and left onto Glebedale Road. We turned right onto City Road. We ran forwards onto King Street and through Foley into Longton. We turned right onto Baths Road and we went to the Tesco Petrol Station. Once we had filled up with fuel we set off onto Baths Road and we went to Coffee. Matthew had a bottle of Irn Bru. Once we had finished we got in car and we set off out of Costa Coffee onto Baths Road. We passed the bus station. We turned right onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit and we went upstairs to his room. Matthew came downstairs and got in the car. We set off along Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill into Stoke. We ran forwards onto the A52 and we crossed over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and we ran around the one-way syaytem in Stoke. We rejoined Church Street and we continued up Hartshill Road past the former pub where we are building a new convenience store. We turned left onto The Avenue and right onto the A34. We continued through into Newcastle and we turned right onto Barracks Road and we passed the bus station. We turned left onto Ryecroft. We turned right onto A34 and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet. Mum ordered the food and Matthew had gammon and egg with chips washed down with a glass of Coke. For dessert Matthew had a red velvet cheesecake with custard. When it was time to go we returned to the car for the trip back to Fenton. We set off onto the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto Ryecroft and at the roundabout we turned left onto the A527. We turned left onto Hanover Street and we turned left onto the A53. We ran around the one way system and we went along the A52 into Hartshill. We ran down the hill into Stoke and we went around the one-way system in Stoke. We turned left onto Liverpool Road and we veered right onto Elenora Street. We turned right onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 onto City Road and we went under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs with Matthew and spent so time with him. Matthew also drank a can of Irn Bru. Matthew chilled out in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
