Today we decided to revisit Crewe. We asked Matthew on the Firday where he would like to go and he chose Crewe. Research consisted of just checking the weather which was for mainly cloudy with some sunshine. We also found out the was a festival being held in Crewe. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 10:30 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After getting ready we set off around 12:00. We got in the car and we ran through Blurton along Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Once we had picked up uncle Dave, we continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the Northbound A500. As we approached stoke we saw an unidentified Travel Express minibus behind the wall. We continued Northwards up the A500 through Etruria and Longport and we passed an unidentified Hartley's Travel coach. We went under the M6 and we continued along the A500. We crosed over the West coact main line before we turned right onto the B5071. We stopped at the YMCA asnd went into the cafe. Matthew had a full English Breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. Afterwards Matthew went to the toilet. We got in the car and we continuyed up the B5071. We turne left onto the A534 and we turned right onto the A5078. We turned left onto Wistaston Road and right onto Flag Lane. We continued onto Hightown and we turned right onto West Street. We parked up by the shops and we said goodbye to mum. We cut through Victoria Square and we we turned right onto Victoria Street. WE got to the bus station and we had a look around. We saw Stagecoach Merseyside 26051 on a #84 to Chester.

Matthew decided he wanted to head towards Winsford. We had around 20 minutes before anything in that direction. We turned down D&G Bus 57 on a #37 to Northwich. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 576 on a #31 to Northwich.

We got on the bus and we booked D&G Network Duo Day tickets at £12.00 before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station. We turned left onto Victoria Street. We turned right onto Hightown and we ran forwards onto Broad Street. We crossed the railway line and we turned left onto the B5076. We followed the road right at the roundabout and we turned left onto a new road that goes into Leighton Hospital. At the hospital there was a small bus station. We left the bus station area and we crossed turned right onto A530. We turned left onto Eardswick Lane and we turned left onto Cross Lane. We turned right and we headed Northwards up the B5074. We continbued to Glebe Green and we turned left onto Swanlow Drive. We turned right onto Darnhall School Lane and left onto Glebe Green Drive. We ran forwards onto Durham Drive and we turned left onto Dover Drive. We continued onto Mount Pleasnt Drive and we turned right onto Denbigh Drive. We turned left onto Beeston Drive and we re-joined the B5074. We turned right onto the A54 and when we got to the centre of Winsford we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 576 as it continued towards Northwich.

Once off the bus we went under the A54 and we headed to Costa Coffee. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we got some food. Matthew had a Biscoff cheesecake and a bottle of Coke. When we had finished we went outside to uncle Dave. We waited for the next bus back in the direction of Crewe. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 57 on a #37 to Northwich which we had turned down earlier. A short time later we saw our bus approaching. As we got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 58 on a #31 to Crewe.

We got on the bus and we placed the Network duo day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off up the A54 and we turnbed left onto the B5074. We turned right onto Beeston Drive and right onto Denbigh Drive. We turned left onto Mount Pleasant Drive and we ran forwards onto Dovey Drive. We turned right onto Durham Drive and we ran forwards onto Glebe Green Drive. We turned right onto Darnhall School Lane and we turned left onto Swanlow DRive. We turned right out of Glebe Green onto the Southbound B5074. We ran into Church Minshull and we turned left onto Cross Lane. We went over the Shropshire Union Canal and we turned right onto Eardswick Lane. We crossed over the A530 and we ran forwards onto the B5076. We turned right onto Bobby Brown Way and we turnmed right into the hospital where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew shared a small packet of Shortbread and he had a can of Orange Fanta. We waited for bus bus towards Crewe. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 48 on a #12 to Shavington.

A short time later we saw the bus we wantd to catch. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 5001 on a #42 to Crewe.

We got on the bus and we placed the Network duo day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the hospital and we turned left onto Bobby Brown Way past the site of a new school. We turned right onto the B5076 and we headed Southwards down Minshull New Road. We turmed left into Rolls Avenue and we crossed over Chassagne Square. We turned right onto Frank Webb Avenue and we turned left onto the A532. We ran forwards onto the A5078 and we ram past the old railway works which is now run by Alstom. We ran alongside the Chester line and we turned left onto Harrison Drive. We ran forwards onto Delamere Street and we entered the bus station from the South end where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we decided to head towards Nantwich. The bus was already on stand and we saw it was D&G BUs 4 on a #84X to Nantwich.

We got on the bus and we placed the Network duo day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and we went along Delamere Street and around the corner onto Chester Bridge. We went forwards onto Edleston Road and we turned right onto the A534 and we crossed over A51 at the Peacock Roundabout. Just before town we turned right onto Millstone Lane. By the tractor shop, we turned left onto Beam Street. We passed Marks & Spencer's and the library and we entered the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 4 befoer it returned on a #84X to Crewe.

We walked down Beam Street and we stopped at a pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we went to the bar and ordered drinks. Matthew had a glass of Coke and we sat down near the window. Whilst we had our drinks we saw Stagecoach Merseyside 15583 on a #84 to Crewe and Stagecoach Merseyside 15567 on a #84 to Chester. When we hhad finished our drinks we walked back along Beam Street to the bus station. We saw D&G Bus 34 on a #53 to Audlem.

A short time later we saw our bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 123 on a #84X to Crewe.

We got on the bus and we placed the Network duo day ticket under the scanner. The bus was empty, so Matthew took a picture inside D&G Bus 123 before we sat down.

After waiting for time, we set of out of the bus station and we turned right onto Beam Street. We passed the tractor shop and we turned right onto the B5074. We turned left onto Crewe Road and we headed out of Nantwich. We crossed the A51 and we ran forwards onto the A534. We ran through Willaston and Wells Green and we ran into Crewe. We turned left onto Edleston Road and we ran forwards onto Market Street. We turned left onto Market Square and forwards onto Delamere Street. We turned right into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Once of the bus we walked to the end. We saw D&G Bus 46 on a #12 to Leighton Hospital.

We called mum and we arranged to meet her in Asda car park. She was still in another shops at this point, so we walked over to asda and we went inside to get some cold drinks. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we picked up drinks for everyone. Matthew also picked up a Twirl. We paid for the the goods and we went outside to meet uncle Dave. A few minutes later mum appeared and we got in the car. Matthew had a can of Irn Bru. We decide to go back home as we were close to home and get chips on the way. We set off onto Victoria Street and we ran forwards onto Flag Lane. We turned left onto Wistatston Road and we ran forwards onto the A5078 past a new building on the left. We turned right onto the A5019 and left onto the A534 past the railway station. AS we turned right on the roundabout we saw St Michaels Dance Troupe double decker J28 KHT. We headed Southwards down the A532 and we turned right onto David Whitby Way. At the end we joined the Southbound A500. We ran towards Barthomley and under the M6 and we continued along the A500. As we travelled Southwards we passed 3 Caledonia Travel coaches coming the other way. We travelled through Etruria and Stoke and as we got to Sideway we joined the Eastbound A50. We came off the A50 and Heron Cross and we turned right onto Blurton Road. WE stopped at the chip shop and Matthew had 2 small sausages chips and gravy and a can of Dandelion & Burdock. We drover along Blurton Road and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we got back around 19:00. We went into the house and Matthew ate his sausages chips and gravy. We did some Blog and sorted out an e-mail. Matthew had his medication and afterwards I took uncle Dave home. We continued with the Blog and Matthew had a can of Cherry Coke. As it was warm Matthew had a Flake ice cream. Matthew went to bed around 00:30... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw City Centre Central PO14 OKZ. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we saw Afford rent-a-car HG73 EHD outside there yard. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63362 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill and in the petrol station. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63101 on a #38 to Butt Lane. We walked out of the bus station onto Castle Walk and we visited Home Bargains. Matthew brought a can of Coke. We walked up Castle Walk and we stopped at the Pound Bakery. Matthew brought a sausage roll before continuing along Castle Walk. We stopped at the benches at the end to eat the sausage rolls and drink the can of Coke. We continued up Castle Walk and we turned left onto Ironmarket. We turned left onto High Street. We walked onto Hassell Street. We returned to the bus station and we waited for a bus to Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63178 on a #101 to Stafford. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was D&G Bus 6010 on a #1A to Meir.

We got on the bus and we booked to Meir before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto barracks Road and we ran down onto the Southbound A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the grounds and onto Hilton Road. We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. We ran past the site of the new Burger King and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton Transport Interchange and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked around the corner onto The Strand. We waited for a bus to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67142 on a #6A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down The Strand and we ran under the railway line onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road past the site of the new Burger King. We turned right into Victoria Road. We continued down the hill and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street and we turned left onto the ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station. we got up and got off the bus. At the bus station Matthew used the toilet. We waited for a bus to Crewe. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63356 on a #101 to Stafford. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63103 on a #3 to Crewe. We got on the bus and we booked to Crewe before we sat down. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we went straight across onto Marsh Street. We turned right up onto Trinity Street and we went past the former RBS now a new shop. We turned left onto Stafford Street. After picking up more passenger outside of Debenhams we followed the road around to the left and then back onto marsh Street. At the roundabout we went straight on onto Waterloo Road and we ran up the hill into Cobridge. We continued into Burslem and through the traffic lights onto Scotia Road. We went past the old Burslem PMT garage and we followed the road around to the left onto Williamson Street. At the corner we turned right onto Tunstall High Street and we continued North onto the A50. We ran through Goldenhill and down the bank into Kidsgrove. We ran under the railway line into Cheshire and we crossed over the A34. We continued into Church Lawton and then into Alsager. We continued Westwards along the B5077 under the M6 and into Radway Green. We followed the road to the right up Slaughter hill and we continued straight up into Haslington. We turned left onto Crewe Road and we re-joined the B5077 towards Crewe Green. We crossed over the roundabout onto the Westbound A534 and we ran towards Crewe railway station. We past the railway station and we continued for around 1/2 mile before turning right into Edlestone Road. We ran into town crossing over the railway line and forwards onto Chester Bridge. We followed the road around onto Delamere Street and we turned right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw Stagecoach Merseyside 15567 on a #84 to Chester. We waited for the next bus back to Hanley. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63172 on a #3 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto Delamere Street and we followed the road around onto Chester Bridge. We ran forwards onto Edleston Road and we turned left onto the A534. We ran past the railway station and we continued up towards Haslington along the B5077. We turned right onto Slaughter Hill and we ran back through Radway Green and into Alsager. We continued over the A34 and into Staffordshire and we ran under the railway line into Kidsgrove. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and we continued into Sandyford. We joined Tunstall High Street where we saw City Centre Central PO14 OKZ in the depot. We continued down the High Street and we ran through the town centre and joined Scotia Road near to Asda. We ran up into Burslem and we continued along the A50 into Cobridge. We ran down the hill to the edge of Hanley and we went around the ring road to Town Road and we ran into Hanley. We ran down Quadrant Road and forwards onto Stafford Street. We ran across the shared space past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street. We ran forwards into the bus station. We got off the bus and we waited for a bus back to Fenton. As we walked through the bus station we saw First Potteries 35950 on layover. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 47519 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights. we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 63359 parked in the garage. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC and we got up and got off the bus. We walked down City Road and we cut through onto Temple Steet and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and chilled out in his room. Later on Matthew went downstairs to do his shopping. Outside we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We went to do the shopping. transport for the trip was a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off onto City Road and we crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of Manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we continued down Victoria Road and we stopped at McDonalds. Matthew went to the toilet and had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. We got an ABC Supreme taxi back to the residential unit. We set off up Victoria Road. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today we went to Bolton we had also planned to go on the to Bolton - Preston 125 service. We checked the weather for today and it was for sunshine and showers. The night before we were due to go we decided it might be a better idea to go on a slightly shorter trip, so he could ride on more buses. We agreed to go to Bolton another time in the near future and we decided to visit. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast and orange juice. We set off around 11:30 passed the He Heath pub and down Stanley Matthews Way. We headed North to Etruria to get LPG. We then headed long the A53 towards Newcastle and then cut over to the A34. We stopped at grandma's for a very brief visit and then we carried on North up to the A500. We joined the Northbound M6 and went up to Bolton via the M62, M60, M61 and then the A666. We headed into town and parked near the railway station. We had already decided that we would eat at a cafe called Trinities on Newport Street. We walked over the railway bridge and we in the cafe. It was a perfectly positioned lace for watching buses at the interchange opposite. Matthew used the toilet and then sat down to have a small breakfast followed by a chocolate cake. After we saw First Manchester 61141 on a eating Matthew decided he wanted to catch buses fro the main bus station so we set off through town. On the way we saw Stagecoach Manchester 19638 on a #22 service to Stockport.

We walked in to the bus station and we saw First Manchester 60115 on a #8 service to Manchester and 60067 on a Withins service.. In the bus station Arriva NW&W 2464 was on layover. We didn't have to wait long before we saw our first #125 service. It was required Stagecoach Lancashire 15563.

We got on the buses and booked system one tickets which we could use to do the bus as far as Horwich. We went upstairs and sat down after Matthew had taken a picture of the back of the bus.

We set off around town and then along Chorley Old Road. This route was familiar to us from time we did Darts and an Arrow on the #519 back in June 2012. We went beyond Montserrat and into new territory. We decided to get off the bus on the edge of Horwich and we got up and got off the bus outside a pub called The Brown Cow. We crossed the road and realised that the service had a 10 minute frequency and that we wouldn't have to wit for long for the next bus back to Bolton. A few minutes later required Stagecoach Lancashire 15583 made an appearance.

It had now started to rain so the catching of the bus was well timed. On the journey back we passed First Manchester Enviro 400 33734 on a #519. The others that we had seen so far had all been Volvo B7RLE single deckers. We got back to Bolton and Matthew waited for the top deck to empty before getting a picture of the inside of 15583 too.

We decided to go and visit the toilet before catching the next bus so we walked to the tardis style toilet in the bus station which was out of use, and then we walked to the market. After we eventually found and used the toilet we walked back to the bus station. Whilst we were walking back to the #125. We spotted First Manchester 60214 on a #572 service.

We walked over to the stop and we saw there was already a #125 service on stand. It was required Stagecoach Lancashire 15567.

We got on and sat upstairs. The bus was quite well filled so he didn't get a picture this time. We decided not to go quite as far so we could try and get an extra bus or two in before we left. This didn't quite work out. We passed a bus just before we got of and then crossed the road. We checked the stop and the service had now began to get more sparse so we had to wait around 12 minutes for the next bus back to Bolton. The bus appeared down the road and it was required stagecoach Lancashire 15575.

We got on and sat down upstairs. We headed down through Montserrat we saw passing 33734 again on a #519. We arrived in Bolton and Matthew photographed the inside of 15575 too.

We then decided to have a walk around the bus station. We saw another Scania in the form of First Manchester 60172 on the #562 withins circular. On layover were Arriva NW&W 2464, 2454 and also Marshall Dart 7617.

We also saw stagecoach Manchester 22403 parked up with #559 on the front. when we came back around it had gone so we checked put stand L were the #559 departs from. We decided to do this bus to Westhougton, A place that we had been before back in January 2013 from Wigan. We jumped on and we didn't have time to take a picture as we got on the bus. It was quite well filled so Matthew only got a picture of the rear seat.

The route of this service on or parallel to the A579 and then on the A6 into Westhoughton. he us was a little slow leaving town tough traffic but when the service got into the back streets and back onto the A579 it soon quickened up. We got to the stop opposite the market in Westhoughton and then got off and took a picture of this bus.

We crossed the road and Matthew used the disabled toilet here. We then walked up to the co-operative food store here where Matthew had a Milky way, a can of Coke and a chocolate gateau. We saw Arriva NW&W 2733 on a returning #714 to Bolton. We didn't have to wait long before we saw the next #540 to Bolton which was required Stagecoach Manchester 21242.

We got on the bus and sat down near the back. It seemed odd getting on Stagecoach bus that had first bus seating inside. The route of the #540 was more direct route along the A58 and then the A676. We also passed an old Olympian which is now a burger van! We got into the bus station and Matthew photographed the inside of Stagecoach Manchester 21242.

Arriva 2733 was on the stand in front of us. I thought had seen one of these #714's in front of the interchange earlier so asked the driver if he was heading in that direction and he said no. We set of to walk back to where the car was parked and we stopped to take a few bus pictures on the way. one of those buses was First Manchester 60183, a bus that we had back in May 2009 when it was an Adderley Green allocated bus. we also saw First Manchester 33711 on a #8 service.

We saw mum on the opposite side of the road. She had drive up to meet us and had parked at the side of the job centre. We got in the car and headed out of town towards Bury. We then turned onto the A666 which we did South to the M61. We did the M61 onto the anti-clockwise M60. We did this to the M62 and then onto the M6. As we headed South over Thellwall viaduct, we saw an unusual lookiing Mercedes minibus. We passed the mini coach which was SK06 BTF. A few miles down the road we let it go passed us and Matthew got a picture of it.

We carried on South and onto the A500. We did this to the A50 and to Longton. There were 5 buses parked up this evening The first was Scania coach d104 XAN and next to that was LDV minibus M420 UEH.

We carried on down Longton Hall Road and we decided to stop at the St Marys chip shop in Blurton. Matthew had sausage, chips and gravy and a couple of bottle of pop. We went hoe and got back just before 20:00. After eating his chips Matthew had some of the Chocolate Gateau he brought in Westhoughton earlier. He then chilled out on his computer before bedtime around 00:00...Mark.
