Today was the second day of our break in North Lincolnshire. We were going out to ride on a few more buses later on. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We got in the car and we set off to Cleethorpes just after 11:00. We set off out of the campsite on Anthony's Bank Road and we ran forwards onto the A1098. We turned right by the Pier and left onto North Promenade. We parked up and we went into a cafe. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a bottle of Cherry Coke. When we had finished we said goodbye to mum and we walked around the corner to Sea Road. We waited for a bus towards Grimsby. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 19210 on a #3 to Bradley

We got on the bus and we bought a Grimsby Group Day Rider ticket at £12 before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off along Sea Road and we did a u turned at the roundabout We turned right onto the A1098 and we turned left to follow the road out of town. We ran forwards onto the A180 and we headed towards Grimsby. We turned left onto Freeman Street and right onto Ellis Way. We crossed the A16 and we expected to turned left onto Victoria Street West, All buses were being diverted along the A1136 as there was supposed to be a crane working near to the main square. after a brief stop we continued along the A1136. We crossed over the railway line and at the roundabout we followed the A1243. We crossed over the A46 and we turned right onto Sutcliffe Avenue. We turned left onto Wichester Avenue and we ran to the end. We turned left onto the A46 and we ran to the roundabout before turning around 180 and pulling up outside of McDonalds were we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 19210 before it returned on a #3 to Cleethorpes.

Once off the bus we walked past McDonalds and we headed to Morrisons. On the way in we saw Hanson CP12 LBX parked outside.

We continued into Morrisons and Matthew went to the toilet. We bought some a bottle of Coke. We went outside and we headed to the bus stop. We saw Stagecoach East Midlands 10899 on a #4 to Cleethorpes.

When we had finished eating we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 19007 on a #3 to Cleethorpes.

We got on the bus and we booked Grimsby Day Rider tickets at £5 each. The lower deck was empty so Matthew tooka a picture inside of Stagecoach East Midlands 19007.

We went upstairs and we saw that the top deck was empty too, so Matthew took another picture inside of Stagecoach East Midlands 19007 before we sat down.

We set off along A46 and we turned right onto Winchester Avenue. We ran a loop and we turned right onto Sutcliffe Avenue. We ran to the end and we turned left onto the A1243. We turned right and we continued along the A1243. We ran Northwards for around 1/2 mile and we ran forwards onto the A1136. We crossed over the railway line and we continued along Frederick Ward Way and we stopped outside of Home Bargains where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 19007 before it continued to Cleethorpes Pier.

Once off the bus we crosed over the road and we headed along Victoria Street West to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we walked along Victoria Street past the bus stops and we turned right across Riverhead Square. We saw Stagecoach East Midlands 19076 on a #5 to Immingham.

We crossed over the A1136 and we waited for a bus towards Cleethorpes. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 19198 on a #3 to Cleethorpes Pier.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Grimsby Group Daysaver ticket to the trip before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off along Frederick Ward Way and we ran forwards onto Ellis Way. We turned left onto Freeman Street and we headed Northwards. We turned right onto the A180 and we headed Eastwards towards Cleethorpes. We ran forwards onto the A1098 and turned Right towards the promenade. We turned left onto Sea Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 19198 before it returned to Bradley on a #4.

Once off the bus we walked to the bottom of the road and we bought an ice cream. We sat by the bus stop to eat the ice cream. Afterwards we walked down to the beach and we walked under the pier and we headed Eastwards down the beach. We got onto the Central Promenade and we walked back to the bus stop. As we got to the stop we saw Stagecoach East Midlands 19044 on a #3 to Bradley.

We waited for another bus. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 19114 on a #6 to Wybers Wood.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Grimsby Group Daysaver ticket to the trip before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off up Sea Road and we turned right onto the A1098. At the roundabout we turned left onto the A1098 and we turned left onto the A46. We turned right onto the B1213 and we headed Northwards towards Grimsby. We turned left onto the A1136 and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we saw Stagecoach East Midlands 19075 on a #8 to Cleethorpes Pier.

We walked alongside the dock and over the A1136. We walked opposite to the Stagecoach bus garage towards the Ross Tiger fishing trawler. We sat down by the dock and we walked back towards the bus stop and we walked along the A1136. We decided to cross over the road and catch something Westwards. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 19115 on a #5 to Immingham.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Grimsby Group Day Saver to the driver before we sat down downstairs. We set off along the A1136 and we crossed over the railway line. We turned left to follow the A1136 and we ran to West Marsh where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked around the corner to the bus stop. We saw we had around 20 minutes to wait for the next bus so we went to Tesco and bought some chocolate. We went back to the bus stop and Matthew had a Mint Aero. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 19533 on a #4 to Cleethorpes Pier.

We set off the A1136 anmd we turned right at thr roundabout to continue to follow the A1136 Eastwards towards Grimsby. We turned left to follow the A1136 Northwards and we crossed over the railway line passing a new building on the left hand side. We continued along Frederick Ward Way and we stoped in town. After a brief stop we ran forwards onto Ellis Way and we continued onto Eleanor Street. We turned right onto Convamore Road and we continued onto Pasture Street. We ran forwards onto Ladysmith Road and we turned left onto Durban Road. At Fiveways we turned right onto Carr Lane. We turned left onto Clee Road and we turned right onto Davenport Drive. We ran forwards onto Sandringham Road and we crossed over Trinity Road onto Highgate. We turned left onto St Peter's Avenue and right onto Cambridge Street. We continued onto Knoll Street and we turned left onto the A1098. We turned right onto Sea Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 19533 before it continued on its journay back to Bradley.

We walked around the corner to the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we had a glass of Coke. When we had finished we went outside and met up with uncle Dave. We walked back to stop D and we waited for a bus towards the caravan park. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 19076 on a #10 to Old Clee.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Grimsby Group Day Rider ticket to the driver for the final time today before we sat downstairs. We set off along the A1098 and into the town centre. We continued onto Kingsway and we turned right onto Cromwell Road. We turned left onto Hardys Road and left onto Chichester Road. We turned right onto Kings Road and we continued South Eastwards. At the North Sea Lane rounabout we got up and got off at the bus. Once off the bus we turned left onto Anthony's Bank Road and we walked towards the campsite. MUm came to pick us up and we got in the car and headed back into the camp site. We got back to the caravan around 18:30. We had ham sandwiches and a slice of lemon meringue pie washed down with a can of Dr Pepper. We did some of the Blog and watched TVLater on Matthew had a shower and we did some more of the Blog. We had a custard tart for supper. We chilled out watching TV and we went to bed around 00:00... Mark.

Today was the first full day of a short break in Lincolnshire. I woke Matthew up at 08:00 to give him his medication and Matthew got out of bed just after 09:00. Matthew had crumpets and orange juice for breakfast. We did some of the Blog and we got ready to go out. We set off around 10:00 out of the camsite and we turned left onto North Sea Lane. We ran forwadrs onto the A1031 and we headed Westwards. We turned left onto the A46 and we turned right onto the A16. We turned right onto the Fredrick Ward Way and after a bit of messing about we parked up in the shopping centre. We said goodbye to mum and we came out of the shopping centre onto the open space onto Victoria Street West. We had a look around at what we might catch. We saw Stagecoach East Midlands 21270 on a #9 to Old Clee.

We walked around to stop L to see what time the next #250 to Hull was due. We had just missed one and the next service was over an hour away. We decided to catch a couple of buses whilst we waited. We walked around the corner onto Town Hall Street and we saw Stagecoach East Midlands 21222 on a #3 to Bradley.

We decided to do this bus so we got on and we purchased an East Midlands Group Day Out at £20 before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Victoria Street West and we turned right onto Town Hall Street. We turned right onto Town Hall Square and we continued onto Osbourne Street. We ran forwards onto Church Lane and we turned left onto the A1136. We crossed over the railway line and at the roundabout we followed the A1243. We crossed over the A46 and we turned right onto Sutcliffe Avenue. We turned left onto Wichester Avenue and we ran to the end. Once off the bus we walked a few yards in McDonalds. Matthew went to the toilet and I ordered some food. When the food arrived we went outside to the bus stop. We shared a chicken nugget meal with Matthew having most of the fries and chicken nuggets. He washed it down with a cup of Coke. When we had finished we waited for a bus towards Grimsby. As short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 26260 on a #4 to Cleethorpes.

We set off along the A46 and we turned left onto Broadway. We turned right onto Pershore Avenue and left onto St Michael's Road. We turned left onto the B1444 and we headed Northwards. We crossed the roundabout and we continued Northwards. At the next roundabout we turned right onto the A1136. We turned right at the roundabout and we followed the A1136 into town. We crossed the level crossing and we turned right onto Church Lane. We got up and got off the bus to Intercept the bus to Hull. A short time later we saw the bus approachjing. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 26271 on a #250 to Hull.

We got on the bus and we flashed the East Midlander Group Day Out ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Church Lane and we turned left onto the A1136. We crossed over the railway line and at the roundabout we followed the A1243. We crossed over the A46 and we ran to the roundabout. We turned left onto the A18 and we headed through Keelby. We turned right onto St Bartholmews Close and we continued onto South Street and we turned left onto Yarbough Road. We turned right onto the B1211 and we headed Northwards. We followed the road the Ulceby and we turned left onto the A1077. We turned right onto Wooton Road, following the Northbound A1077 past the pub. We turned right onto the B1206 and left onto the B1402. We ran forwads onto Thorngarth Lane and forwards onto Church Side. We continued onto Barrow High Street and right onto the A1077. We continued to follow the A1077 to the East end of Barton and we turned right onto Falkland Way. We turned left onto Pasture Road and right onto Butts Road. We ran into Barton and we turned right into the bus terminus by the railway station. We got up and got off the bus. We had around 10 minutes to wait for another bus to Hull. Matthew had a large Galaxy Caramel bar which we all shared. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 26176 on a #350 to Hull.

We got on the bus and we flashed the East Midlander Group Day Out ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off Southwards down the B1218. We joined the A1077 and we headed out of town. We joined the Northbound A15 and we crossed over the Humber on the Humber Bridge. We turned right onto the A1105 and we headed Eastwards towards Hull. We past the Hull City ground and we crossed over the roundabout and headed inti the city. We past the East Yorkshire depot and double decker 97 was parked outside. We turned left onto Park Street and right onto Margarete Moxon Way. We passed a very large bus layover area before we entered the Interchange from the Western end. We pulled onto stand and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked through the intervhange and outside to the sizeable layover area. We walked down the row and we took pictures. We saw East Yorkshire coach 3 parked up abaout to work a #131 to Birmingham.

Afterwards we headed back into the interchange and we stopped at Greggs. We bough some sausage rolls and some millionaires shortbread. We stopped at the toilets and Matthew used the facilities. We went outside and we sat down and Matthew had a sausage roll followed by some millionaire's Shortbread. We watched the buses for a while and then we went inot the interchnage to catch something out roughly in the direction of the Humber Bridge. As we walkd along we saw a bus on stand. As we got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 24162 on a #2 to Boothferry.

We got on the bus and we flasged the East Midlands Group Day Out ticket to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the interchange and we headed Eastwards. We turned left onto the A1079 and right onto Spencer Street. We continued onto Prospect Street and we turned left onto Albion Street. We turned right onto Bond Street and forwards onto Vernon Street. We continued onto Queens Dock Avenue and we turned right onto Carr Lane. We ran forwards onto the A1105 and we ran past the South side of the Interchange We continued out of town past the MKM stadium and as the road forked right onto Anlaby Road. We turned left onto Anlaby Park Road and we crossed over the A1105. We got up and got off the bus. We walked around the corner onto the A1105 and we waited for a bus towards Barton. We only had a few minutes to wait and we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 26177 on a #350 to Scunthorpe.

We got on the bus and we flashed the East Midlands Group Day Out ticket to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the A1105 and we headed towards the Humber Bridge. We turned left onto the A15 and we caried on over the humber bridge and we weaved our way through Barton-upon -Humber and to the railway station. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 26177 as it continued towards Scunthorpe.

We crossed over the road and we went into the pub. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we had a glass of Coke at the bar. We wemnt outside and met back up with uncle Dave. We went to have a look at a train and we decided we could get a bus up the hill towards the bridge for the bus back to Grimsby. Whilst we waited Matthew had another piece of Millionaire's shortbread. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 27202 on a #350 to Hull.

We got on the bus and we flashed the East Midlands Group Day Out ticket to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off Southwards down we turned left onto Butts Road. We turned right onto Pasture Road and we turned right onto Beck Hill and forwards onto Whitecross Street. We turned right onto the A1077 and we got up and got off the bus and Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach East Midlands 27202 as it continued towards Hull.

We headed back to the bus stop and we shared out the chocolate bar whist we waited for the bus. A short time later we saw Stagecoach East Midlands 26273 on a #350 to Scunthorpe. Not long after that we saw a bus approaching from the South. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach East Midlands 26274 on a #255 to Grimsby.

We got on the bus and we flashed the East Midlands Group Day Out ticket to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off down the hill and we weaved our way through Barton-upon-Humber and to the railway station. We ran into Barrow upon Humber and we turned left onto Barton Lane. We turned left onto High Street and we continued onto Churchside. We turned right onto B1206 and left onto the A1077. We headed through Wootton were a few people got up and got off the bus so I was able to sit down and work out if we could get another bus or 2 in before the day was out. I worked out that if we got off at Bradlkey Morrisons there was an apporximate 10 minute frequency service into Grimsby. We continued into Ukceby and we joined the Southbound B1211. We ran through Brocklesby and we joined the A18. We joined ran through Riby Crossroads and we ran fast to the A46. We turned left onto the A46 and we veered leaft onto Caistor Road. After runing through Laceby we rejoined the A46. We ran for around 1/2 mile and after the roundabout we got up and got off the bus.
