Trip to Hanley / Longton 10-03-2022

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus later. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley. A short time later we saw Temple Street Church RX18 GZW. Matthew got ready to go to Newcastle. Whilst getting ready we saw Travel Express SM65 DMY heading towards Stoke. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Newcastle. At the Afford garage we saw Afford rent-a-car MT70 AFF parked up.

We walked back out onto City Road. We turned right and went past Fenton manor Sport centre before turning onto Victoria Road and we walked down the hill to the bus stop. We saw blue minibus BD06 VTM. A few minutes later a bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63112 on a #6 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked the Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down Victoria Road and towards Joiners Square. At the roundabout we went forwards onto Lichfield Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station we saw First Potteries 37156 on layover. We got up and got off the bus. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63111 on a #4A to Kidsgrove.

Once off the bus we walked up Lichfield Street. We continued onto Tontine Street and we crossed over Parliament Row. We stopped at McDonalds and we had dinner. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. When we had finished we walked along Parliament Row. We visited a cash machine and we withdrew some money and we stopped at McDonalds. Afterwards we crossed over to Card Factory to get a card for mum. After wards we walked down Tontine Street and we continued into the Intu Potteries shopping centre. We went through the shopping centre. We had a walk around the shops and afterwards we walked through Tontine Square onto Tontine Street. We walked onto Lichfield Street and we entered the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Longton. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 164 on a #24 to Longton. We got on the bus and we booked to Longton, we sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and down the hill past the car park. We turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster we veered left onto Lonsdale Street. We continued onto Campbell Road and we crossed over the A500 and past the Dunelm. We we wheeled around over the Northbound A500. At Sideway we turned right onto the A50. We came off the A50 by the BET365 Stadium and we ran Southwards down Stanley Matthews Way. We turned left onto the A5035 and we turned left onto Magdalen Road. We turned right onto Finstock Avenue and left onto Beaconsfield Drive where we saw First Potteries 44511 on a #22 to Newcastle. After a short wait we continued along Beaconsfield Drive and we turned right onto Finstock Avenue and left onto Ripon Road and at the end we turned left onto the A5035. We turned right onto Barlaston Road and right onto Waterside Drive. We turned left onto Wimbourne Avenue and we turned right onto Waterside Drive. we continued to the ens and we turned left onto Barlaston Road. We turned right onto the A5035 and we ran through Dresden. At the end we turned right onto Queens Park Avenue and we ran forwards onto Cocknage Road. We turned left onto Chaplin Road and right onto Belgrave Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto Lightwood Road. We crossed over the A50 and we ran into Longton down The Strand. As we travelled up we saw Z Carz LJ07 PXW parked up. At the end we turned left onto Baths Road and we entered Longton Transport Interchange where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we decided to do the next #22 to Longton. After a short while we saw D&G Bus 115 on a #1 to Park Site. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton and sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the Interchange onto Baths Road and we turned left onto King Street under the railway line. We continued through Foley along King Street and into Fenton. We went forwards onto City Road and we got up and got off at the Travers Court bus stop outside the block of flats. Once off the bus we walked onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room and use his computer, He also are a butterfly cake and watched buses out of the window we saw City Cabs WR67 HLX. We went downstairs and we got in a car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned right City Road and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentlee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We stopped at the children's centre and Matthew went to the toilet. He had a can of Coke. back to the car. Once we had finished we got back into the car and we set off onto along Dawlish Drive and we turned right onto Beverley Drive. We turned left onto the A5272 and we ran past the First bus depot. We turned right onto Anchor Road and we ran up the hill and down into Longton. We turned left onto Market Street and we ran around Longton on the one-way and we turned right onto Commerce Street. We turned right onto the Strand and we ran forwards onto King Street. We ran trough Foley and forward into Fenton. We ran onto City Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out before going to uncle Dave's. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church RX18 GZW. Temple Street and at the end we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We went across the spare ground onto Willowdale Avenue and onto Whieldon Road and into uncle Dave's house. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots with gravy followed by a slice of toffee cheesecake. Later on he had a drink of Fanta orange and a few digestive biscuits. Uncle Dave now has a biscuit tin. Matthew chilled out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Willowdale Avenue and we saw silver minibus DK53 VRE parked up. We crossed the spare ground and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street past the Queen Elizabeth II Court. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus and going to visit uncle Dave later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw grey minibus YX58 CZR parked up near to the flats.

We carried on along Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw First Potteries 67156 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street where we got up and got off the bus. In the bus station we saw First Potteries 69169 on a #11 to Newcastle.

Once off the bus we walked up Lichfield Street. We continued onto Tontine Street and we crossed over Parliament Row. We stopped at McDonalds and we had tea. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. When we had finished we walked along Parliament Row and across Tontine Square. We stopped at the PDSA charity shop before continuing up to Stafford Street. We visited CEX and walked to Stafford Street we saw First Potteries 65040 on a #6 to Leek. We turned left onto Lichfield Street. We headed into the bus station and we waited for a bus towards Longton. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 174 on a #24 to Longton.

We got on the bus and we booked to Longton, we sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and down the hill past the car park. We turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. Once D&G Bus 44 was ready we got on the bus and we booked to Fenton and sat down towards the back of the bus. Trip to Stoke / Bentlee 06-03-2019

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going to visit uncle Dave later on. Matthew got up and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting for time to got to the day centre Matthew spent time in his room watching buses. We saw First Potteries 43876 on a #11 to Newcastle. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. and into the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

In the morning we went to Stoke on the bus. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road and we walked up to the bus stop. We waited for a bus to stoke to appear. A few minutes later we saw a D&G bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 114 on a #1 to Wood Lane.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went to the one stop shop and Matthew used the computer. Afterwards we crossed over Church Street and we went to The White Star pub for dinner. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had a Coke. For dinner Matthew had a burger with bacon & cheese. When we had finished eating we came out of the pub and we stood at the bus stop around the corner. We waited for the next bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw a single decker approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 42554 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. As we passed the slip-road we saw George Youngs Coaches A5 GYC coming off the Southbound A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Later on Matthew went to Bentlee. The bus for the journey it was Lucky Seven minibus SK64 PSU. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned right City Road and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentlee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We stopped at the children's centre and Matthew went to the toilet. He had a can of Coke. When we had finished we returned to Fenton on Lucky Seven minibus SK64 PSU. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out before going to uncle Dave's. We saw Intercity SF11 GNV going towards Hanley.

When it was time to go to uncle Dave's we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and at the end we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We went across the spare ground onto Willowdale Avenue and onto Whieldon Road and into uncle Dave's. Matthew had a can of Fanta orange. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots. Later on he had another slice of cheesecake and a few digestive biscuits and custard creams. Uncle Dave now has a biscuit tin. Matthew chilled out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. Matthew returned to Fenton in a car. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street past the new building under construction, which is now getting near to completion. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
