Trip to Longton / Newcastle 11-02-2026

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the dentist. Matthew went downstairs and we got in the car and we set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Baker Street and we saw Global Travel YU05 ZKY. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and right onto City Road. As we ran up onto King Street we passed Challinor HC18 ALS. We turned right onto the A50 link road and we joinrf the Eastbound A50. AS the route into Longton was busy we continued upto Normacot. We came of the A50 at Normacot and we turned left onto Uttoxeter Road. As we headed into Longton and we headed to Trent Cafe. Matthew a had a double bacon and cheese oatcake washed down with a can of Coke. After we had finished eating we decide to catch a car back to Fenton. We set off onto Uttoxeter Road and we turned left onto Commerce Street and then we turned right onto The Strand. After a brief stop in Longton we continued down to the railway bridge and then we ran forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley to Fenton and we ran forwards onto City Road past the site of the new Burger King. We turned right into Smithpool Road. We turned left Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and use his computer and watched music videos on the television. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road. The traffic was unusually busy and the bus was a little late. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was First Potteries 63115 on a #11X to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill and in the petrol station. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and up and as the bus was now empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 63115 before we got off the bus.

Once of the bus we visited the travel office. We set off onto Hassell Street and we turned right onto High Street and we visited Wright's Pies. Matthew brought a egg custards. We continued along High Street and we sat on a bench to eat the egg custards and drink the bottle of coke. When we had finished we walked back along High Street and we turned left into Hassell Street. We returned to the bus station and we waited for a bus to Hanley. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 67153 on the #22 to Longton.

A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63115 on the #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we cut through to the residential unit. We went upstairs and to his room to chill out. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. We set off onto City Road. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63176 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off onto Castle Walk and we stopped at Heron Foods. We bought a cake and we set off along Castle Walk and we went past the former Poundland. We turned right into Ironmarket. Matthew visited the pub and had burger and fries washed down with a glass of Coke. Once we had finished eating we set off onto Ironmarket and we turned left onto High Street and we past the fromer Laura Ashley. We crossed over and we went to the cinema. Matthew had a cup of Coke. He went to the cinema to watch A Zootopia 2. After the film Matthew went to the toilet. We walked out of the cinema onto the High Street and we got a Lucky Seven taxi back to Fenton. When we got in taxi. We set off onto High Street and we turned left onto the A527. We ran past the bus station and we crossed over the roundabout onto the A52 and we ran into Hartshill. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned left onto Shelton Old Road and we joined the Southbound A500. We ran up to the next junction we turned left onto City Road and right into Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Trip to Burnham-on-Sea / Edithmead 01-05-2019

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus. Plan for Burnham desserts restaurant in place of bank approved by District Council. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. Around 09:00 we set off on bus We went downstairs and we saw transport for our trip it was Z Carz minibus YJ62 LSX. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street We ran forwards onto Station Bridge Road. At Heron Cross we joined the Westbound A50 and we ran down to Sideway. We turned left onto the Southbound A500 and we ran down to the motorway. We got onto the Southbound M6 and we ran Southwards through the West Midlands. At the junction 8 we got onto the Southbound M5. We ran Southwards for over a hundred mils and we cam off the M5 at junction 22 onto the Southbound A38. At Highbridge we turned right onto the B3139 and we ran up to Burnham-on-Sea. We stopped on the High Street and we got off the bus. We went to the café and had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. Once we had finished Matthew went to the toilet. We got back into Z Carz YJ62 LSX and we continued to Edithmead. We set off along the High Street and we turned left onto Adam Street. We joined the Northbound B3139 and we turned right onto the B3140 and we saw Somerset County council MX67 LWR on a #67 to Wedmore. We continued along the road for around 5 miles and we stopped at the holiday par. Once we got off the bus we went for a walk. After we had finished we returned to Fenton in Z Carz YJ62 LSX. We got on the bus and we continued to the end and we joined the Northbound M5. We ran for a hundred miles or so out of the West Country and into the Midlands. At the end of the motorway we got onto the Northbound M6. We ran North to junction 15 where we cam off onto the A500. We travelled North up to Sideway and then we joined the Eastbound A50. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross and we turned left onto Blurton Road. We went through the traffic lights onto Heron Steeet. We carried on forwards onto Station Bridge Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Masterson Street and we turned right onto Watkin Street. We continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to use his computer and chill out in his room. Whilst there we saw D&G Bus 113 on a #1 to Meir.

When it was time to go to uncle Dave's we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and at the end we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We went across the spare ground onto Willowdale Avenue and onto Whieldon Road and into uncle Dave's. Matthew had some cheesecake and a can of Fanta orange. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots. Later on he had another slice of cheesecake and a few digestive biscuits and custard creams. Uncle Dave now has a biscuit tin. Matthew chilled out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Willowdale Avenue. We crossed the spare ground and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street past the new building under construction, which is now getting near to completion. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
