Today we decided to have a local trip. We had originally planned a different trip, but mum wasn't feeling very well. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up just before 10:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After the decision was made, Matthew got dressed and we wemnt to pick up uncle Dave. We got in the car and we ran through Blurton along Beaconsfield Drive. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we veered left onto Blurton Road. We ran through Blurton and into Heron Cross and over the A50. At Heron Cross lights we turned left onto Grove Road. We ran forwards onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. We continued down Wheildon Road and we joined the A500. We came off at Stoke and went around the one-way system. We turned left onto London Road and we stopped at Sainsbury's for petrol. We then headed back to Blurton. We set off onto London Road and we turned left onto All Saints Road. We turned right onto Flethcher Road and continued onto South Terrace. We turned right onto Sideway Road and right onto Campbell Road. We joined the Northbound A500 and we turned right onto the A50. We came off by the BET365 Stadium and as passed the entrance we saw Pauls of Stoke Y28 POS and other leaving the stadium on their way to Coventry City. We continued along Stanley Matthew way and we turned left onto the A5035. We got back to blurton around 11:40. Matthew went to the toilet and then we set off on foot to the stop all the way over on Magdalen Road. On the way to the stop we saw First Potteries 63176 on a #22 to Newcastle. As we missed this bus, we decided to go towards Longton. We got to the stop and a very short time later we saw the bus come around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63366 on a #22 to Longton.

We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Magdalen Road and we turned right onto Finstock Avenue. We turned left onto Beaconsfield Drive and at the end we turned right onto Church Road. We followed the road around to the left onto Blurton Road and at the bottom of the hill we turned right onto Longton Hall Lane. We climbed the hill into Longton and onto the A50. We crossed the roundabout onto Baths Road and we entered Longton Transport Interchange. We got off the bus and we cut through onto The Strand to the Britannia cafe where we decided to have dinner today. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. Once we had finished we walked back down The Strand to the bus stop where we spotted D&G Bus 6008 on a #1A to Wood Lane. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer 67156b on a #6 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hnaley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We bus set off down The Strand and we ran under the railway line onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road past the site of the new Burger King. We turned right into Victoria Road. We continued down the hill and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street and we turned left onto the ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station. we got up and got off the bus. At the bus station Matthew used the toilet. We then decide to head to Tunstall for dessert. We waited for the next bus towards Tunstall. A short time later a bus came on stand. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63352 on a #103 to Crewe.

We got on the bus and booked to Tunstall before we sat down at the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we ran forwards onto Marsh Street. We turned right onto Trinity Street and left onto Stafford Street. We turned left onto New Hall Street and we re-joined Marsh Street. We ran forwards onto the A50 and we ran through Cobridge up to Burslem. We carried on along Scotia Road past the site of the new Lidl. We turned left onto Williamson Street and right onto Tunstall High Street. At the top of the High Street we got up and got off the bus. Matthew then got another picture of First Potteries 63352.

We walked down to the Tunstall Cafe and Matthew went to the toilet whilst I sort out his food. The lady here also now knows our order by heart! Matthew had a slice of Toffee Cheesecake which he washed down with a can of Coke. When we had finished we consider catching either a bus to CKidsgrove or the recently introduced #104 to Newcastle. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 797 on a #104 to Hanley.

We looked on the map and we saw the buses coming up from Hanley were all running quite late due to temporary ligts and football traffice through Burslem. A short time later we saw the bus come around the corner. It was First Potteries 63173 on a #38 to Hanley.

We decided to head back towards Hanley. We crossed the road and we got on the bus and booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We went down the High Street and we turned left into Williamson Street. We turned right into Scotia Road and we ran into Burslem town centre. We ran past the site of the new Kiln Gate Retail park and we continued into Cobridge and down into Hanley. We joined Hope Street and we ran forwards to Stafford Street. We ran past the taxi ranks and we saw Lucky Seven SF17 LBO. We continued past the Albion and the town Hall and we ran forwards onto Bagnall Street and into the bus station. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. We headed towards the car park to get a few bus pictures. On the way we saw D&G Bus 6002 on a #9 to Biddulph. We headed up to the car park and we took a few pictures. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67177 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge.

We left the car park and we walked down onto John Street. We saw D&G Bus 765 on a #16 to Leek.

We headed into the bus station and we went to the shop. Matthew bought a bottle of Coke, a flapjack and a Milky Way. We decided to head towards Biddulph. The plan was to catch the D&G bus up to Chell and the catch First Potteries bus forwards. We sat at the relavent stop Matthew had the flapjack. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 149 on a #7A to Fegg Hayes.

We got on the bus and we booked to Chell. As the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside D&G Bus 149 before we sat down.

The bus waited for time before setting off out of the bus station. We went down John Street and onto Bethesda Street before we went across onto Marsh Street and then we turned right into Trinity Street. We turned left into Stafford Street and we continued forwards to Quadrant Road and we left Hanley along Town Road past the sight of the new Tesco Express store. We travelled through Sneyd Green and over Smallthorne roundabouts to Chell. At the roundabout we turned right and we ran down the A527 and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 149 before it carried on towards Fegg Hayes.

Once off the bus we crossed over the A527 and we headed into the shop. Matthew bought a bottle of Dr Pepper and a chocolate bar for later on. We walked around the corner and we crossed over the A5272. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 47520 on a #99 to Newcastle.

Whilst we waited for the bus, we realised that we would have to do one of 3 things if we went to Biddulph. We could come back on the same bus, we could have 10 minutes at Biddulph or we could spend over an hour there. We decided not to go all the way to Biddulp. We could get off at Brindley Ford and got to the pub there instead. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67156 for the second time that day!

We got on the bus and we booked to Brindley Ford before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the A5272 and and at the roundabout we turned right onto the A527 We ran down the hill towards Oxford passing a new development on the site of a former pub. At the roundabout by Chatterly Whitfield, we veered left to continued up the A527. We ran inti Brindley Ford and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67156 as it continued on the #7A towards Biddulph.

We walked along Bridge Street and we turned left onto Fisher Street. We tried the pub dorr and it appeared to be closed. We decided to head back towaerds Chell, as we knew the pub there was open, as we had walked past it earlier on. We looked on the Bustimes.org site and we saw that there was a Southbound bus in a few minutes! Wew walked along Fisher Street and we cut through onto the A527. The was a new development nearby. We crossed over the road and we waited for a bus. Almost immediately we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 6005 on a #9 to Westbury Park.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fegg hayes before we sat down near to the back of the bus and the bus set off onto the A527 through Fegg Hayes. We turned left onto Oxford Road and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 6005 before it carried on towards Clayton.

We wa;led around the corner considering walking up the hill to the pub, but we noticed there were people waiting and the bus stop. We looked on bustimes.org and we saw there was a bus due in a couple of minutes. A few minutes later a bus turned the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63179 on a #99 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Chell before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off up the A527 and we headed into Chell. We turned the corner onto the A5272 and we got up and got off the bus, Once off the bus Matthew took another picture as First Potteries 63179 continued on the #99 to Newcastle.

We walked around the corner to the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we went to the bar and we ordered some drinks. Matthew had a glass of Coke. After we had finished our drinks we set off out of the pub onto the A527. We turned left onto the A5272 and we waited at the bus stop. We decided to turn down the 2 buses that were heading to Hanley, We let First Potteries 67156 on a #7A to Hanley, and we turned down D&G Bus 149 on a #7A to Hanley. Across the road we saw D&G Bus 121 on a #9A to Hanley.

A few minutes later another bus came around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67173 on a #99 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We went down the High Lane and we turned left onto Little Chell Lane and right onto Carlton Avenue. We turned right onto Irene Avenue and we turned right onto Queens Avenue we ran down the hill past the park and we went forwards onto Boulevard. We turned right onto the A50 and we continued down the High Street and we ran past the former Co-operative bank. We stopped at the bottom before joining Brownhills Road. We ran down the hill to Trubshsaw Cross and we continued straight through Longport and over the A500. We went up Porthill Bank and we followed the A527 through Wolstanton & May Bank and into Newcastle. As we got to Newcastle we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 278 on returning from a day trip to Bury Market on Jubilee roundabout. We crossed the roundabout onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we headed to the bottom end of the bus station. We didn't have to wait for long before we saw our bus. It was First Potteries 63366 on a #22 to Longton for the second time today.

We got on the bus and we booked to Blurton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus sat in the bus station for about 10 minutes before departure. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road and we ran Southwards onto the A34. We turned left into the hospital. We continued through the hospital grounds. We turned right onto Hilton Road and forwards onto Harpfields Road. We ran to the end and we turned left onto the Southbound A34. We ran under the A500 into Hanford and we turned left onto Church Lane. We climbed to the top of the hill and we turned right onto Wilson Road. We turned left onto New Inn Lane and we ran into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035 and we crossed over the railway line into Blurton. We passed the end of Stanley Matthew Way and we turned left onto Magdalen Road. We turned right onto Finstock Avenue and left onto Beaconsfield Drive where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked back to the house. Matthew used the computer and we had an apple whilst we waited for mum to return from shopping. When mum got home I went to the chip shop. I returned and Matthew had sausages chips and gravy washd down with a can of Dr Pepper. Later on i took uncle Dave home. Matthew had his medicatio and we did the Blog and uploaded photos. We also wrote an e-mail. Matthew chilled out on his computer until bedtime at 00:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to Belper he watched buses out of the window. After tea Matthew went for a walk to Aldi to get some shopping and we went downstairs and we set off. We walked onto City Road and we crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we went down the hill to Aldi. Matthew brought his shopping and then we got a lucky Seven taxi to Biddulph. We set off onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and across the roundabout onto Lichfield Street. We joined the anti-clockwise ring road. We joined town road and we crossed joined the ring-road as there is currently a diversion on the normal route. We turned right onto the A50 and at Cobridge lights we turned right onto the A53. We turned right onto Sneyd Street and we headed Eastwards. We joined the A5272 and we travelled Northwards through Sneyd Green up to Smallthorne roundabouts and High Lane and we ran forwards into Chell. At the end of High Lane the end we turned left onto the A527 and we stopped at the church where Matthew went to the toilet. For dinner Matthew had sausage and cheese oatcakes and a can of dandelion & burdock. When we had finished we got a lucky Seven taxi back to the residential unit. We set off onto the A527 and at the roundabout we turned right onto High Lane. We ran through to Smallthorne roundabout and we continued long the A5272 through Sneyd Green. We ran forwards onto Town Road and we joined the clockwise ring Road and we ran around Hanley. We turned left onto LIchfield Street and we ran down to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A52 and we ran towards Stoke railway station. We ran alongside the railway line and we turne left onto City Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses before going out later on. We saw Travel Express BG61 HSY. We went downstairs and we set off on foot to the bus stop. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. We continued up City Road and we saw Afford rent-a-car MJ22 HHR outside there yard. We stood at the bus stop and we waited for a first but to Hanley. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 6008 on a #1 to Wood Lane.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw Travel Express HF64 AJU. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. A short time later the bus came on stand. We saw it was First Potteries 47519 on a #22 to Longton.

We ran past Tesco before turning right into Longton Interchange. We got off the bus and we cut through onto The Strand and past fromer Barclays. We walked to Market Entrance. Matthew went to the toilet and we walked through onto The Strand and we walked to the bus stop. We waited for a bus towards Fenton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67148 on a #40 to Fenton. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down The Strand. We turned left into Baths Road and we entered Longton Transport Interchange. After a brief stop we ran out onto Baths Road. We crossed over the A50 and we went straight onto Foley Road. At the end of the Road we turned right on Longton Hall Road. We climbed the hill and then went down into Blurton. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we climbed up the hill into Heron Cross. We crossed the A50 and at the traffic Light we turned left onto Grove Road. We continued into Mount Pleasant and onto Wheildon Road. We turned right by The Regent onto Smithpool Road and we turned right onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67148 before it continued towards Hanley.

Matthew went back upstairs to chill out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. Matthew returned to his room to chill out. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. We waited for a bus to Hanley. On the way we saw Afford rent-a-car YG23 RJJ parked up at their garage.

A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63362 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off onto Castle Walk and we stopped at Heron Foods. We bought a cake and we set off along Castle Walk and we went past the former Poundland. We turned right into Ironmarket and we turned left onto High Street and we past the fromer Laura Ashley. We crossed over and we went to the cinema. Matthew had a cup of Coke. He went to the cinema to watch Sketch. After the film Matthew went to the toilet. We walked out of the cinema onto the High Street and we got a Lucky Seven taxi back to Fenton. When we got in taxi. We set off onto High Street and we turned left onto Southbound AA34 and we turned left onto The Avenue. Travelling up towards Hartshill. At the end we turned right onto Hartshill Road. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street and we turned left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and we ran through onto City Road. We ran under the railway bridge and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses before going out later on. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

When it was time to go the bus set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road and we ran forwards onto the one-way system. We continued onto the A52 and when we got to Hartshill we veered left onto Shelton New Road. We ran over the railway line and canal and we went up to Snow Hill. We turned left and ran up Broad Street. We turned right onto the ring road and left onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we ran up to the bus station. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Matthew visited the toilet. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63362 on a #11X to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton we sat down. We set off up set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 35667 parked in the garage. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. We turned right onto Bambury Street and we ran to the end we turned left onto Galsworthy Road and left onto Heathcote Street. We turned right onto Longley Road and left onto Ashwood. We turned right onto Anchor Road and we ran under the railway line. We turned left onto Markets Street and we followed the one-way system onto Commerce Street and right onto The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down the Strand and under the railway line onto King Street. We continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past KFC and we got up and got off the bus. We walked down City Road and we turned right onto onto Glebedale Road and we walked along Baker Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street. We returned onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. When Matthew got back we went upstairs and went up to his room to chill out and use the computer. Before tea We went downstairs out for a walk to fetch his tea. we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We ordered sausages and chips gravy and then we walked back along Smithpool Road and onto and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. Matthew went into the living room to have tea. Matthew ate his sausages and chips gravy followed by a Butterfly cake. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 67156 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus to Newcastle. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67175 on a #6 to Park Hall. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 35691 on a #25 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before we went upstairs. When it was time to go the bus set off out of the bus station and we ran down John Street onto Bethesda street where we crossed over the ring road and we ran down through Shelton along Cauldon Road and we turned left onto Station Road outside the railway station. We went forwards onto A52 and we followed the road around to the right and under the railway line. We crossed over the A500. We continued into Stoke centre along Church Street. We went out of the other side of Stoke and up Hartshill Road into Hartshill. We turned left into The Avenue and we ran down to Hilton Road and we turned right into the hospital where we saw Magnum PF64 RJJ. We ran through the hospital and we turned right onto the A34. We ran up to Newcastle and forwards onto Barracks Road at the roundabout. We came into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We set off onto Hassell Street and we turned right onto High Street and we turned left into Church Street and we turned left onto Bridge Street and we went under the subway on to the A34. We turned left Dunkirk and we saw white minibus SN56 FCL. We walked up Castle Hill Road and we right onto Stanier Street. We got out of the taxi and we saw grey minibus YJ73 AKH. When we got into the building Matthew went to the toilet. He also spent time in the soft play area. We watch buses out of the window we saw Priory Adult Care EJ21 RNU. When we had finished we said goodbye and we returned to Fenton in a taxi. We set off onto Stanier Street. When we returned to Fenton in a Intercity taxi. We set off along Stanier Road and we turned left onto Pool Side. We turned left onto Dunkirk and we turned right onto Knutton Lane. We around the roundabout and back onto the Ryecroft and we ran forwards onto the one-way system. We continued onto the A52 and we ran into Hartshill. At the end we turned right onto Hartshill Road. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street and we turned left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and we ran through onto City Road. We ran under the railway bridge and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window. Matthew spent time in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to do a local trip. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Temple Street Church KD23 DHC.

Once Matthew had finished his breakfast he chilled out in his room until it was time to go to the day centre. We saw bronze minibus SG22 TTX.

Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. We waited for a bus to Hanley. On the way we saw Afford rent-a-car YG23 PXM parked up at their garage. A short time later we saw a bus turn around the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63115 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket on the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 and ran under the railway line. After crossing over the A500 we ran into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We turned right onto Shelton Old Road and we saw Travel Express GN14 DVX parked up th the depot. We ran forwards onto Stoke Road. We ran under the railway line and up through Shelton. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once we got off the bus. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus to Chell. A short time later we saw it was First Potteries 67149 on a #7 to Kidsgrove. When it was time the bus set off out of the bus station. We went down John Street and onto Bethesda Street before we went across onto Marsh Street and then we turned right into Trinity Street. We turned left into Stafford Street and we continued forwards to Quadrant Road and we left Hanley along Town Road. We travelled through Sneyd Green and over Smallthorne roundabouts to Chell we got up and got off the bus. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto A5272. As it was sun we decided to walk and we turned right the A527. We visited Wrights Pies and we brought a sausage roll, a can of Coke and a Manchester Tart. We continued up A527 and we sat down and Matthew ate his sausage roll washed down with a can of Coke and a Manchester Tart. and we turned right onto Uplands Ave. Matthew decided we wanted to explore the leisure centre. We went inside and Matthew had a look around. Afterwards we came out and Matthew had a can of Fanta Orange. We walked along Uplands Ave and we turned left onto the High Lane to wait a bus to Newcastle. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was First Potteries 63111 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We went down the High Lane and we turned left onto Little Chell Lane and right onto Carlton Avenue. We turned right onto Irene Avenue and we turned right onto Queens Avenue we ran down the hill past the park and we went forwards onto Boulevard. We turned right onto the A50 and we continued down the High Street and we ran past the former Co-operative bank. We stopped at the bottom before joining Brownhills Road. We ran down the hill to Trubshsaw Cross and we continued straight through Longport and over the A500. We went up Porthill Bank and we followed the A527 through Wolstanton & May Bank and into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station. As we got off the bus we spotted Megabus 54609 on a M36 to Barnstaple. After a short while the bus back to Hanley appeared. It was First Potteries 35940 on a #101 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket before we sat downstairs towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran forwards onto the one-way system. We continued onto the A52 and when we got to Hartshill we veered left onto Shelton New Road. We ran over the railway line and canal and we went up to Snow Hill. We turned left and ran up Broad Street. We turned right onto the ring road and left onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we ran up to the bus station. Once in the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we waited for a bus to Bentilee. A short time later the bus arrived on stand. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus We set off onto Beverley Drive. At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We got up and got off the bus. Once off up Dividy Road and we crossed. We waited for a bus to Hanley and a short time later we saw . A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63347 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto Dividy Road and we turned left onto the A52 we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Road and right onto John Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew walked into the bus station and went to the toilet. We had arranged with mum to get meet up near to the bus station. Once off the bus we set off up Lichfield Street. We turned righ onto Old Hall Street and we turned the corner onto and we walked up McDonalds and we had dinner. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Once We walked along Parliament Row and we walked onto Old Hall Street. We walked up Lichfield Street and we got in the car and we went to Blurton. We set off onto Lichfiels Street and we ran down to Joiners Square. we turned right onto the A52 and as we ran towards and past the planned development of Stoke-on-Trent railway station. We ran alongside the railway line and we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and back to his room. He had a can of Cherry Coke. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today we were doing a local trip as later on we had a party to attend. Matthew woke up at 08:00 and had his medication. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After getting ready we went in the car to pick up uncle Dave, We set off through Blurton onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we went through the road works and up the hill to Heron Cross. We crossed over the A50 and we turned left at the traffic lights onto Grove Road. We continued onto Wheildon Road and we picked up uncle Dave. Afterwardsb we set off up Wheildon Road and forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We ran down the hill and back through the roadworks and we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive and left onto Finstock Avenue. We stopped briefly to get some money from the cash machine and we carried on back to the house. After briefly going inside we set off on foot to the bus stop all the way over on Magdalen Road. We waited for a few minutes and the bus turned the corner. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67149 on a #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and booked a Smart Day ticket at £4.80. This ticket is a multi-operator ticket valid throughout the North Staffordshire area. We sat down near to the back of the bus and the bus set off onto the A5035. We went past the Trentham Hotel we turned right into New Inn Lane where we saw First Potteries 67152 was on the #21 to Hanley. We got up to get off the bus at the man in Space and Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67149 before it carried on to Newcastle.

We had already seen the bus we were going to catch on the opposite side of the road. We waited for it to run around the end of the route before we saw it return. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67152 on a #21 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket. The bus was empty so Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 67152 before we sat down towards the back of the bus.

The bus travelled through Trentham up New Inn Lane, We passed the building site where new housing is being built. At the top of the hill we turned right into Hanford along Wilson Road. We ran down Mayne Street before joining the Northbound A34. We crossed under the A500 and we saw First Potteries 67151 on #21 turn to Trentham. We turned onto London Road and we ran through Oak Hill past the former Oak Hill pub. We continued through the the West End before running into Stoke Town centre and Campbell Place. There was nothing of interest parked up in City cabs and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67152 before it carried on towards Hanley.

Once we got off the bus we walked towards The centre of Stoke. We went around the corner into Church Street to Stoke Cafe. Uncle Dave escorted Matthew downstairs to the toilet and I ordered the food. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. After we had finished eating we walked down Church Street to the Newcastle bus stop. When we got to the stop we waited for the the next Hanley bus to appear. As we had a party to attend later we needed to head up to Biddulph as quickly as we could. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 35948 on a #25 to Keele.

We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off out of Stoke town centre and across the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 and we ran past the railway station to joiners Square. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. We went into the Spar shop and Matthew got a bottle of Coke and a couple of chocolate bars. We headed up to the John Street car park to take a few bus pictures. We saw D&G Bus 6006 on a #9 to Clayton.

We walked back to the bus station and Matthew went to the toilets. Afterwards we sat down and Matthew had a Twirl Duo. We saw D&G Bus 6007 on layover. A short time later we saw a bus we could catch approaching. It was D&G Bus 173 on a #7A to Oxford.

We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day ticket under the scanner before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus waited for time before setting off out of the bus station. We went down John Street and onto Bethesda Street before we went across onto Marsh Street and then we turned right into Trinity Street. We turned left into Stafford Street and we continued forwards to Quadrant Road and we left Hanley along Town Road. We travelled through Sneyd Green and over Smallthorne roundabouts to Chell and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 173 before it continued towards Oxford.

Once off the bus we waited for something towards Biddulph. It was raining so we decided to take the first service to arrive. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 593 on a #94 to Congleton.

The bus set off onto the A527 and through Brindley Ford and Knypersley and we turned right into Park Lane left into Woodlands Street. We turned right onto Church Close and we turned left onto Church Road. We continued onto Princess Street and we turned left onto Well Street. We turned right onto Biddulph High Street and we got up and got off the bus. We took another picture of D&G Bus 593 before it carried on towards Congleton.

We crossed over the road and we visited the bakery. Matthew bought a piece of millionaires shortbread and a can of Fanta. We crossed over the road and we headed towards the pub. On the way we passed Wharf Road and we saw D&G Bus 6003 on a #9 to Newcastle.

We continued to the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. We went to the bar and we had a small glass of Coke. After drinking our drinks we headed up the High Street to Wharf Road and we saw First Potteries 67147 about to work the next #7A to Hanley.

A short time later First Potteries 67147 was made ready for service and pulled up onto the bus stop. We got on the bus and we placed the Smart Day tickets on the scanner for the final time today. The bus set off onto the High Street and we turned left at the roundabout onto St John's Road. We ran around the estate and we crossed over the A527 at Knypersley. We ran through Brown Lees and we rejoined the A527 by the industrial estate. We ran down through Brindley Ford and to Fegg Hayes. We ran up the hill to Chell and we turned left onto High Lane. We ran back through Smallthorne & Sneyd Green into Birches Head. We ran forwards onto Town Road and we crossed over the ring road. As we ran onto Quadrant Road and we went forwards onto Stafford Street. We ran past the town hall and onto Bagnall Street and we entered the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Whilst had a look around and we saw D&G Bus 797 on a #9A to Tunstall.

Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we headed across the Lichfield Street and across the ring road to the chip shop. Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. Mum arrived to pick us up. When we had finished eating we set off out of the car park onto Lichfield Street. At joiners Square roundabout we went around the crash on the roundabout and we turned right onto the A52. We ran past the railway station and over the river Trent Before following the A52 right and under the railway line. We turned left and joined the A500 and veered left onto Wheildon Road. We crossed over the canal and unnder the railway line and we dropped off uncle Dave. We contionued up Wheildon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we crossed over the A50. We continued through Blurton and at the roundabout we veered right onto Church Street. We turned right onto the A5035 and back to Blurton. We arrived back around 17:00. We had a couple of hour to relax and get ready for the party. We Started the Blog and we download the pictures from today. Matthew had can of Cherry Coke and the millionaire's shortbread from earlier. After getting ready we got on the car and we set off just before 19:00. We got on the A5035 and we headed to Trentham. We turned right onto the A34 and we headed North through Hanford into Trent Vale. We turned left onto Riverside Road and we turned left and we crossed over the Lyme Brook and parked up. We went into the party and we wished our friend happy Birthday before finding a seat and having a glass of Coke. Later on there bwas a buffet and Matthew had sandwiches, cocktail sausages, party rings and Swiss Rolls. It was a fancy dress party and Matthew went dressed as an Arriva Bus driver!. We stayed for a couple of hours and we said goodbye to everyone before we got in the car. As we ere about to set off we saw Ellisons coach 18 BOS leave the Clayton Wood training ground, presumably the Stoke City Coach from the away game at QPR earlier in the day. We set off onto Riverside Road and we turned right onto the Soutbound A34. We ran through Hanford intob Trentham and we turned legft onto the A5035. We ran over the canal and railway line into Blurton and we got back just 21:00. Matthew had his medication and Later on we did some more of the Blog and wrote an e-mail. We also tested the new ice making machine. We chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
