Trip to Norton / Clayton 12-06-2018

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. Matthew was going to Norton and going swimming later on. Matthew also found out about the plans to turn the old Trentham Nat West bank into a cafe. It will be the perfect place to grab a coffee and panini' - residents welcome plan to turn bank into an all-day cafe-bar. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw E-zec patient transport SF66 EJG.

Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

In the morning Matthew we to Norton Children's Centre on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. At the roundabout we turned sharp left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we went straight onto Lichfield street and we ran up the hill to Hanley. We joined the anti-clockwise ring road and we saw First Potteries 37158 on a #32 to Uttoxeter. We ran around the ring road and we came off at Town Road. After crossing over the ring road we ran out of town along Town Road and forwards onto the A5272. We continued through Sneyd Green to Smallthorne and at the roundabouts we turned right onto Ford Green Road. We ran down the hill through Smallthorne and we continued up the other side into Norton. At the top of hill we turned left onto Knypersley Road. We stopped at the childrens centre and Matthew went to the toilet. Matthew had a drink of Coke. Matthew used the soft play area. When he was done we returned to Fenton on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off along Knypersley Road and we turned right onto Ford Green Road. We ran down the hill and up the other side into Smllthorne and up towards the roundabouts. We turned left onto the A5272 and we ran through Sneyd Green and we saw First Potteries 63097 on a #7A to Biddulph. We carried on to Birches Head. We continued onto Town Road and we joined the clockwise ring Road. We ran around to Lichfield street and we went down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran up Victoria Road into Fenton. At the top of the hill we turned sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and back to the day centre. For dinner Matthew had jacket potato with beans followed by toffee cheesecake. In the afternoon Matthew went swimming in Fenton. Matthew normal walks to the baths, but today we went on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We went on to Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. We crossed over the railway line and we turned right onto the private road on which the baths are situated. We parked up Copeland's Tours MIB 542. Matthew went swimming and after we had finished we came out and we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 394.

We went to get the bus back to the residential unit and we saw it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We set off along the private road and we turned left onto City Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on his computer and watched buses out of the window. We saw Temple Street Methodist Church DN03 WKK returning to the church.

Afterwards we saw First Potteries 67601 on a #11 to Newcastle.

Later on we were going to Clayton for tea. We went down and it was a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Station Bridge Road and we continued onto Heron Street. We went through the traffic lights and we crossed over the A50 and we saw First Potteries 67154 on a #23A to Newstead. We continued through Blurton along Blurton Road. We turned right onto Church Street. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive past the new build house. and we ran through the estate onto the A5035. We ran over the railway line into Trentham and at the roundabout we went right onto the Northbound A34. We turned left onto Whitmore Road and we ran up to the A519. We ran North over the A500 and we continued another of couple of miles up to the pub. In the pub Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. For tea Matthew had a burger and fries followed by chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. After we had finished eating we returned to Fenton in Intercity HV62 OKT. We set off up the A519 and we ran up to the edge of Newcastle. We turned right onto the A34 and we ran Southwards past the hospital. We turned left onto Newcastle Lane and we ran up the hill into Penkhull village. We turned left onto St Thomas' Place and we ran past the Penkhull Education Centre and onto Princes Street. The Education Centre is going to be kept the the surrounding space used as a car park for the nearby primary school. We continued to the end of the road and we turned right onto the A52. We ran through Hartshill to Stoke and we went around the one-way system. We joined onto Glebe Street and we followed the road around onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 and we went under the railway line. We ran up City Road into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. When Matthew got back Matthew went up to his room to chill out. He used his computer and watched music videos on the Television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. Matthew was also going out to the disco later. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw Reeseheath College FJ11 GKO.

When it was time to go to the day centre we walked outside and we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. At the day centre In the morning Matthew went out for a it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and we turned right onto the A52. We went past the railway station and the university and up to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned left onto Lichfield Street and up to the ring road. We ran clockwise around Hanley and we joined the Southbound Etruria Road. We crossed under the A53 and we ran into Festival Park, We turned right onto Ridgehouse Drive and we turned right onto Pavillion Drive. At the roundabout we went across into the Festival Height area and we stopped and parked up. Matthew went to KFC and had dinner. He had a chicken burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Matthew did some shopping and then returned to Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX to returned to Fenton. We set off onto Pavillion Drive and we turned left onto Ridgehouse Drive. We turned left and ranunder the A53 onto Etruria Road. We turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road and we ran around to the A50. We turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A52. We ran past the railway station and we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill and turned right onto Glebedale Road and back to the day centre. In the afternoon Matthew watched a DVD. later on we returned to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Temple Street. Back at the residential unit Matthew went upstairs to chill on his computer. We saw D&G Bus 112 on a #1 to Meir.

Later on we went to Clayton it was Intercity HV62 OKT. We set off Onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. At the end we turned right onto Station Bridge Road. Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. Matthew got up and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting for time to got to the day centre Matthew spent time in his room watching buses. We saw First Potteries 63098 on a #11 to Newcastle. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. We continued to the day centre and we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

In the morning Matthew watched a DVD. For dinner Matthew had a ham sandwich followed by a Bakewell Tart. In the afternoon Matthew went trampolining in Abbey Hulton on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and we joined the Eastbiund A52 as far as the railway station. We ran onto Station Road and we turned right onto College Road. We ran through Shelton and we continued forwards onto Regent Road. After a brief stopped we continued Eastwards before turning left onto Lichfield Street. We ran anti-clockwise around the ring road and we ran down Bucknall New Road to Limekiln lights. We turned left onto the A5009 and we ran Northwards as far Abbots Road and we stopped at the sports centre. At the sports centre we saw Stoke-on-Trent city council welfare bus LK17 DWE.

Matthew had a session on the trampoline and then he went to the toilet before having a drink of Coke. When it was time to return to Fenton we got aboard Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off along Abbots Road and at the end we turned left onto the A5009. We ran to Bucknall and then we turned right onto the A5008. We ran up the hill to the ring road and then we went clockwise around to Botteslow Street. We turned right onto Derby Street and we crossed over Lichfield Street onto Regent Road. We stopped for a short while and we continued onto College Road and down through Shelton. We turned left onto Station Road and we ran forwards onto the Westbound A52. We followed the railway line and we turned left onto City Road. We stopped outside the old Newtown pub and we crossed over the road and walked up Temple Street back to the residential unit.Matthew went up to his room to chill out. For tea Matthew had a jacket potato and beans followed by a Manchester Tart. Later on Matthew went to Hanley on the bus We walked onto Christchurch Street and we must have missed the bus as we walked back down Temple Street to Smithpool Road to wait for a #23A. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67154 on a #23A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Smithpool Road and we turned left onto City Road. We continued down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street where we got up and got off the bus. We saw First Potteries 67156 on a #7A to Biddulph. We turned left onto Bagnall Street and right onto Old Hall Street and we stopped at B&M to get some shopping. Matthew picked up a can of Coke and then went to the till. After paying for the can Matthew we walked around the corner onto Lichfield street and into the bus station. We waited for a bus back to Fenton and a few minutes later First Potteries 42554 appeared on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked along Christchurch Street and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out. He watched television and used his computer and drank his can of Coke. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
