Trip to Hanley / Longton 07-05-2022

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Afford rent-a-car KV19 NVG.

Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw blue minibus DL69 RHO. We continued along Christchurch Street. We onto City Road we saw grey minibus DU21 VVA. At the top we crossed over Victoria Road to wait for the bus at the bus stop. A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was dud First Potteries 63098 on a #6 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off down Victoria Road and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street and we turned left onto the ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We got up and got off the bus at the top of John Street. We walked along Bagnall Street and Cheapside and we turned right onto Tontine Street. Once we had finished we went to the Intu Potteries shopping centre and out the other side over Quadrant Road and into the new leisure complex. As we passed the car park on the Bryan Street and we saw First Potteries 67147 on a #7 to Kidsgrove. In the cinema went to the toilet and afterwards had a hot dog. He went to the toilet and afterwards he saw Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness at the cinema. When he had finished we set off back down Bryan Street onto Stafford Street. We turned left onto Lichfield Street We headed into the bus station and we waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 47519 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. Whilst we waited for departure time we saw First Potteries 69172 on a #7A to Biddulph. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot on the road at the back of Victoria Road. We turned right onto George Street and left onto Millicent Street. We turned right onto Kent place and we walked down the passage onto William Street and onto Manor Street. We crossed over City Road and we went back to the residential unit. Matthew went to his room to chill out and use his computer. He also watched buses out of the window we saw First Potteries 69148 on a #11 to Hanley. Later on we went dowstairs cake. we went downstairs and we got in the car we set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto City Road. We ran up onto King Street we passed the site of the new Burger King being built. We turned right onto the A50 link road and we joinrf the Eastbound A50. AS the route into Longton was busy we continued upto Normacot. We came of the A50 at Normacot and we turned left onto Uttoxeter Road. As we headed into Longotn. We ran into Longton and we turned right onto Kingcross Street and parked in the car park. Once parked up they headed back to Market Street to have some cake. Matthew had a red velvet cheesecake with custard. Matthew washed thi down with a bottle of Coke. When they had finihsed eating they returned to the car and decided to go to Home Bargains. We picked up a few stocking fillers for family and Matthew also picked some sweets. We returned to the car and we headed back to the residential unit. We set off onto Commerce Street and we went around the roundabout and onto The Strand. We stopped outside Wrights Pies and we picked up a few few things from there. We got back in the car and we continued along The Strand and we turned left into Baths Road past the site of the new Costa Coffee drive through. We went to McDonakds and we got an Ice Cream. We set off out of McDonalds onto Baths Road. We passed the bus station. We turned right onto King Street. We ran through Foley into Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit and we went upstairs to his room. For tea had Pizza followed by a butterfly cake. We chilled out on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 69170 on a #11 to Hanley. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Voyager Travel YM16 BYB. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Newstead. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and and turned right. We ran up Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street where we got up and got off the bus. We set off onto Lichfield Street and and went forwards onto Tontine Street. We walked through Tontine Square to the Intu Potteries shopping centre. We had a walk around the shops and afterwards we walked through Tontine Square. We stopped at a cafe for dinner and Matthew had a burger washed down with a can of Coke. Afterwards we walked down Tontine Street onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 69151 on a #7A to Biddulph. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We then walked back to on we returned to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses and we saw Afford rent-a-car KV19 NVG. After he had finished eating Matthew went out on the bus. We went downstairs and we walked through onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats and we waited for a bus towards Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 65728 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill and in the petrol station we saw an unidentified new ABC Supreme minibus HK69 ???. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus towards Penkhull. A short time later we saw D&G Bus 157 on a #9 to Biddulph. We got on the bus and we booked to Penkhull before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the the grounds. We turned right onto Hilton Road. At the roundabout we went left onto Newcastle Lane and we got up and got off the bus. We walked along Newcastle Lane and around the corner into Rothwell Street. We turned left onto Chamberlain Avenue and we stopped at one of the house and Matthew had a glass of Coke. Once we had finished the drink we returned to Fenton by car. We got in the car and we set off onto Chamberlain Avenue and we turned left London Road and we ran forwards onto the one-way system onto Campbell Place and we ran forwards onto Church Street. We turned right onto Liverpool Street and we veered right onto Elenora Street. We turned right onto Copeland Street and we veered left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and we ran to the end before turning left onto City Road. We ran under the railway line and up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. Later on we went to Hanley. We went downstairs and set off on foot onto Temple Street. We walked onto Christchurch Street and we waited for a taxi. We went to cineworld in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off Christchurch Street. We crossed over City Road and we ran along Manor Street. We ran down the hill through Fenton and at Joiners Square. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran towards Hanley. We joined the anti-clockwise ring road and we ran around to the other side of Town We exited the ring road onto Town Road. The bus came in through Quadrant Road and forwards onto Stafford Street. We got out of the taxi When we walked along Stafford Street and we turned left onto Old Hall Street. We stopped on the corner and we went to McDonalds. Matthew had chicken nuggets and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. When we had finished we set off onto Parliament Row and we continued into the Intu Potteries shopping centre. We went through the shopping centre and out the other side over Quadrant Road and into the new leisure complex. As we passed the car park on the Bryan Street He went to the toilet and afterwards he saw Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness at the cinema. We set off along Quadrant Road and we turned right into Parliament Row and we turned right onto onto Old Hall Street. We turned right onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. In the bus station. We waited for a taxi back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw D&G Bus 158 on layover.

When we returned to Fenton in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off onto Lichfield Street and past the site new Lidl. We crossed over Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout onto Victoria Road past Adsa and the B&M. We turned right onto Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and we headed down the hill. We turned left onto Temple Street and left again onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. Latter on Matthew had a jam filled shortbread biscuit. Matthew spent time in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00...
