Trip to Wolstanton / Longton 17-02-2020

Today Matthew was in Blurton and he was going to his day service. Later on he was returning to the residential unit. Matthew got up around 10:15 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Later on we were going shopping. Around 11:00 we got in the car and we set off through Blurton. We ran along Beaconsfield Drive and we caught up First Potteries 67662 on a #23 to Hanley. We turned left onto Church Road and at the roundabout we turned left onto Blurton Road. We joined the Westbound A50 and we saw The Traveller Choice 7 HXP going Eastwards. At Sideway we joined the Northbound A500 where we saw ABC Supreme KX15 BJK. We continued Northwards and we turned left onto Adsa. After parking up we went in the supermarket. Matthew used the toilets and afterwards we went around and did the shopping. When we had finished we decided to go have dinner. We left the retail park and we joined the Southbound A500. We ran Southwards to Sideway and we ran ran eastwards along the A50. We came off the A50 at Longton and we ran along the high level A50. We turned at Heathcote Road and we parked up near to Sports Direct. We walked along Gold Street and around the corner onto The Strand. We had decided to go for dinner at the Britannia Cafe. Matthew had a a double bacon and sausage oatcake washed down with a can of Coke. Highlights of the bus sighting whilst we ate include First Potteries 47519 on a #11 to Newcastle. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we set off on foot to Longton Interchange. We loojked at the bus time and we saw the first bus towards Blurton was to D&G Bus #40 service. Whilst we waited for the bus we saw D&G Bus 114 on a #1 to Meir.

A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 52 on a #40 Fenton circular service.

We got on the bus and we booked to Blurton before sitting down towards the back iof the bus. Whilst we waited for departure time we saw D&G Bus 37 on a #1A to Wood Lane. The bus set off out of the Interchange onto Baths Road past Tesco. We cross over the A50 onto Foley Road and at the end we turned right onto Longton Hall Road. We ran to the bottom of the hill and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of D&G Bus 52 as it continued towards Fenton.

We waited for a bus towards our part of Blurton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67648 on a #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Blurton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Longton Hall Road and we turned left onto Blurton Road. We ran up the hill and at the roundabout we turned right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive and ran to the far end where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67648 as it continued towards Newcastle.

We got home around 14:00. Matthew had a drink of Irn Bru and ate his Manchester tart. When it was time to go we went back to the residential unit in the car. We set off onto Beaconsfield Drive and we turned left onto Church Road. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton. We crossed over the A50 and into Heron Cross. We ran forwards onto Heron Street and we continued onto Station Bridge Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and left onto Masterson Street. We turned right on to Watkin Street and right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to Matthew's room and we wrote some of the Blog. Matthew also drank a bottle of Coke. Matthew went his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window. we saw First Potteries 44515 on a #23 to Hanley. For tea Matthew had bacon and mash with beans followed by a Bakewell tart. Later on we went to Hanley by taxi. We went downstairs and we saw it was City Cabs GN08 DCZ. we got in the bus and we we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and left onto City Road. At the bottom of the hill we turned right onto the A52. We ran alongside the railway line before turning slight left onto Station Road. We turned right onto College Road and we ran up through Shelton Towards Hanley. Once off the taxi we set off up Lichfield Street and we went straight onto Stafford Street. We stopped at the dessert shop and Matthew had a red velvet cheesecake. When we had finished we walked back along Stafford Street and onto Lichfield Street. We waited for a taxi and when it arrived we saw it was City Cabs GN07 KXK. We got on the bus and we set off down Lichfield Street and over the ring road. At Joiners square we crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right onto Manor Street and right onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on his computer. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 65042.

we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw white minibus G14 SBX.

We carried on along Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. As we headed towards the day centre we saw D&G Bus 148 on a #40 Fenton circular service.

We continued alomg Christchurch Street and to the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

In the morning Matthew we on the computer. For dinner Matthew had a jacket potato with tuna followed by a Bakewell tart. In the afternoon Matthew went out to the hub. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we stopped at The Hub. Matthew booked himself on a trip to Southport in August 2019. Later on Matthew went back to the residential unit. We set off along Christchurch street and we turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and and Matthew went to his room to chill out. After a while we went out on the bus. We set off downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road. We stopped at the bus stop outside the flat to wait for bus to Newcastle. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 65042 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill we saw First Potteries 65692 on a #11 to Hanley. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We set off up Castle Walk and we turned right onto Ironmarket. We visited the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a glass of Coke. For dessert Matthew had a chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When we had finished we we set off onto Ironmarket and we turned left onto Castle Walk. We entered the bus station and we waited for a but to Hanley. After a short while we saw First Potteries 32649 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we went upstairs. When it was time to go the bus set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We turned left at the roundabout onto the A34. we ran South as far as the hospital where we turned left. As we travelled through the hospital we saw ABC Supreme KX15 BJK and First Potteries 32627 on a #25 to Keele. We came out of the hospital and turned left onto Hilton Road. We ran into Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran down the hill into Stoke town centre and along Church Street. After a brief stop we continued along the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We passed the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. We ran up the hill through Shelton and we followed the road to the right onto Cleveland Road and Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road, continuing onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we waited for a bus to Fenton. After a while we saw First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Newstead.

Matthew decided to go to the toilet so we let that bus go. Afterwards we waited for the next bus to Fenton. After a short while we saw First Potteries 42553 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton. As the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 42553 before we sat down.

We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we saw Stanton's of Stoke BV19 YKM. we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We then walked back to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw First Potteries 63175 on a #11 to Hanley. Around 09:00 we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street Methodist Church DN03 WKK.

We set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. We continued to the day centre and we saw black minibus DC65 HZD.

In the day we went to Joiner Square in an Intercity taxi. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we went straight onto Fountain Street. We followed the road to the left onto William Street and we turned right onto Manor Street. We turned left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A52. We turned right onto Austin Street and right onto Stuart Street and to the community centre. We got out of the taxi and we saw Shelton Care Group PE67 XEU parked up.

Matthew went to the toilet and then spent some time in the community centre. For dinner Matthew had some ham sandwiches and a selection of other party foods. He also had a glass of Coke. for after Matthew had a jammie wagon wheel, a jam tart and a Bakewell tart. When it was time to go we went outside to wait for the taxi. We saw Allendale GU52 RNZ.

We returned to the residential unit in an Intercity taxi. We got in the taxi and we set off onto Stuart Street. We turned left onto Austin Street and left onto the A52. We headed towards the roundabout at Joiners Square. At the roundabout we saw First Potteries 65727 on a #6 to Coalville. We turned left onto Victoria Road and we saw First Potteries 67660 on a #6A to Hanley. We ran up the hill and we turned left onto City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and right onto baker Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street ansd we stopped opposite the Co-op. We walked onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. we saw ABC Supreme KX15 BJK. Before tea Matthew went out to do some shopping. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We picked a few things up at the Co-operative food and we turned left Temple Street We walked back to the residential unit. Near to the unit we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. For tea Matthew had a Lamb Mince Pasta Bake Cheese & Bacon with chips followed by cake. Later on we went to Hanley. We went downstairs and onto City Road. We waited for a bus to Hanley. After a short while we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. down under the railway line and into Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we entered the bus station where we saw Park's of Hamilton BV67 JYT on a #548 to Birmingham. We got up and got off the bus and we set off onto Lichfield Street. We continued onto Stafford Street and we went to The Little Dessert Shop. Matthew had a slice of rainbow cake with custard. When he had finished he walked back along Stafford Street and forwards onto Lichfield Street. Back at the bus station we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short while later we saw it was First Potteries 67654 on a #6 to Meir. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we we walked around the corner and onto City Road. We walked back down and crossed over the road at the pelican Cross before cutting through to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
