Trip to Holmes Chapel / Hanley 30-07-2022

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going on the bus later on to out for tea later. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Lucky Seven MRZ 1261.

Later on Matthew went downstairs to do his shopping. We set of onto City Road. After crossing over the road we turned right into Manor Street. At the end we turned left onto Victoria Road. Part way down Victoria Road we saw First Potteries 63113 on a #6 to Blythe Bridge. We turned left onto Victoria Road. In Aldi Matthew picked up his weekly shop. After he had done his shopping we went to Holmes Chapel in a taxi and we set off onto Victoria Road and we ran down to Joiner Square we turned left onto Lichfield Street. We ran up the hill into Hanley and we joined the anti-clockwise ring road. We continued to the end and we turned right onto Waterloo Road. We ran through Cobridge and into Burslem past the site of the old data company which is going to be a new Lidl supermarket. and around the back of Tunstall High Street past the police station. We re-joined the High Street and ran through Sandyford. We ran through Goldenhill and down the hill into Kidsgrove. We went under the railway line and into Cheshire. We continued North through Church Lawton into Rode Heath and out the other side We passed the Stanway's depot. We continued North to Holmes Chapel along the A50 through Arclid crossroads. We ran into Holmes Chapel and we turned left onto the A54. We turned left onto Selkirk Drive and we ran down to the leisure centre. Once in leisure centre Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards cafe for food to take away. Matthew had a can of coke. Once he had pickd up the drink we returned to the car. We had finished we got in the car and we set off onto the Selkirk Drive. We turned right onto Chester Road and right onto the A50. We continued through Brereton Green and down towards Brereton. We continued down through Arclid. We ran through Fourlanes End and into Rode Heath. We continued over the A34 and into Staffordshire and we ran under the railway line into Kidsgrove. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and we continued into Sandyford. We joined Tunstall High Street where we saw City Centre Central PO14 OKZ in the depot. We continued down the Scotia Road and left into the Boulevard. We ran down the hill past the park and we went forwards onto Queens Avenue. We turned left onto High Lane. We ran through Smallthorne & Sneyd Green. We ran into Hanley and onto the ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street. At Joiners Square crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the roundabout we turned sharp right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we went to his room and chilled out. We went upstairs and Matthew had a can of Irn Bru. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Hanley. At the Afford garage we saw Afford rent-a-car HT22 KOH parked up.

We stood at the bus stop outside the flats and we waited for a bus to Stoke. Whilst we waited we saw Travel Express NK14 FMU.

The traffic was unusually busy and the bus was a little late. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. It was First Potteries 67173 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street where we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over Church Street to the bus stop and we waited for the next bus. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63146 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Bentilee before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Church Street and we crossed over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. We ran past the site of the new Burger King and we went forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We stopped outside the old job centre as the #11 no longer calls in the Interchange. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentilee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Beverley Drive. At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 and we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Road and we turned right onto John Street and we got up and got off the bus at the top of John Street. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63101 on a #4 to Audley.

Matthew used the toilet and when he came out we saw required First Potteries 63103 on the #4A to Kidsgrove.

Matthew wanted to do this but we didn't have the right direction. A short while later we saw a bu approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 32633 on a #4 to Audley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Festival Park. As the lower saloon of the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 32633 before we sat downtairs.

The bus set off onto John Street and we ran down the hill before we turned right onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over Broad Street and we continued onto Marsh Street. At the lights we turned left onto Etruria Road past former Sainsbury's supermarket. We went under the A53 and we went forwards onto Festival Way. We crossed the next roundabout and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked up Festival Way. We walked through Ridgehouse Drive. Once we reached McDonalds Matthew had a cheeseburger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we got in a a car and we set off along Ridgehouse Drive and we saw City Centre Central MJ62 VPF. We turned right onto Festival Way to catch a bus to Hanley. Whilst we waited for the bus we saw First Potteries 63102 on a #4A to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off along Festival Way and under the A53. We went forwards onto Etruria Road and we ran up the hill into Hanley. We crossed over Marsh Street and we ran forwards onto Trinity Street. At the top of the hill we turned right onto Stafford Street, past the town hall and Radio Stoke. We entered the bus station off Bagnall Street. Once off the bus Matthew went to the toilet. After a short while the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67159 on a #6 to Coalville.

We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. Whilst we waited for departure time we saw First Potteries 67650 on a #3 to Crewe. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road. and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot up Victoria Road and we went sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and back to his room. Matthew used his computer and watched television in his room to chill out. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Trip to Trentham Gardens / Smallthorne 19-10-2021

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to Trentham Gardens to see the fireworks. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. Before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Hanley. We went downstairs to wait for the taxi. Transport for the trip was Travel Express NK14 FMU. We got on the bus and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street and right onto Station Bridge Road and we followed the road to the left onto Heron Street where we saw First Potteries 67152 on a #23 to Hanley. We went through the traffic lights and we crossed over the A50. We ran through Blurton along Blurton Road and then turned right onto Church Road. At the light we turned right onto the A5035 We continued over the railway line into Trentham and we ran to the end of the A5035. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran into Trentham Gardens. We parked up and we went to the retail village. we stopped at the riverside Cafe and for dinner Matthew had sausage chips and beans washed down with a bottle of Coke. After we had finished eating Matthew returned to Fenton it was Travel Express NK14 FMU. We got in the taxi and we set off onto the Northbound A34 and we saw South Staffs YU52 VYE. At Hanford roundabout we turned right onto the Northbound A500. We ran through Sideway and we came off the A500 at Stoke. We turned right onto City Road and we ran under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right into Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew returned to his room to chill out. we saw Jayjays Travel YM61 PUA going towards Hanley.

For tea Matthew had a chilken fajitas and chips followed by cake. Later on we went out to Smallthorne in a car. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed City Road onto Manor Street and we ran to the end where we turned left onto Victoria Road. At Joiners square we went forwards onto Lichfield Street. We ran anti-clockwise arouse the ring road and we saw First Potteries 67155 on a #5 to Hanley. We turned left onto Town Road. After crossing over the ring road we We travelled through Sneyd Green and over Smallthorne roundabouts to Chell. At the roundabout we turned right and we ran down the A527 In Fegg Hayes we turned right onto Oxford Street and we ran through Chell Heath past the site of Matthew's old school which has now been demolished. In Smallthorne we turned right onto Ford Green Road. We stopped at Joe's house and We turned onto Ford Green Road and at the roundabouts we turned left onto the A5272. We followed the road through Sneyd Green and Northwood and down to Bucknall. We turned right onto the A52 and at Joiners Square roundabout we turned left onto Victoria Road. At the top of the hill we turned right onto City Road and we ran down the hill to Smithpool Road. We turned left and left again onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. The government had recently anounced a new lockdown to try and recuse the spread of Coronavirus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw Jayjays Travel YM61 PUA.

In the morning we went for a walk. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Smithpool Road. we turned right onto City Road. We walked up the hill and crossed over, and we waited at the bus stop outside the flats. A short while later we saw a bu approaching. As it got closer we saw it was D&G Bus 114 on a #1 to Park Site.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. hospital. As we travelled through the hospital we saw First Potteries 63176 on a #22 to Longton, Travel Express NK14 FMU and ABC Supreme HN18 VHM. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got to the bus station we got up and got off the bus. Matthew went to the toilet and went back to the bus station to wait for a bus to Hanley. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 65035 on a #101 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee Roundabout. We joined the one-way system and we ran onto the A52. We continued up to the top of George Street and we veered left onto the B5045. We went through the traffic light onto Shelton New Road where we saw First Potteries 65033 on a #101 to Stafford. We crossed over the A500 and we ran up to Snow Hill. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67158 on a #23 to Newstead. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line where we saw First Potteries 67156 on a #6A to Hanley. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67158 before it continued on towards Newstead.

We set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto Masterson Street. We turned right onto Smithpool Road. we turned right onto City Road and onto Christchurch Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. whilst in the room we saw Afford rent-a-car minibus WX18 WKJ going towards Stoke. We had brought party food and we set up in the room. We lit the candles and Matthew sang happy birthday for the friend on a video call before blowing out of the candles. Matthew ate his party food and listened to music. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. For tea Matthew had plaza and chips followed by cake. Later on Matthew went to the adult social at the old adventure playground. We went downstairs and we went in a Lucky Seven taxi. We got in the taxi and we set off onto Temple Street. we turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and under the railway line into Stoke. We crossed over the A500. We joined the Northbound A500. As we travelled North we saw Afford rent-a-car MK67 UEN. we came off the A500 and we ran up to Shelton. We joined Shelton New Road and we headed into Hartshill. At the roundabout we ran forwards onto George Street and into Newcastle. We ran forwards onto Ryecroft and we turned left onto the Southbound A34. We turned right onto the A525 and we turned right onto Stanier Street. When we got into the building Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards Matthew went outside and went on the slide. He also spent time in the soft play area. Later on Matthew had a can of coke. When we had finished we said goodbye and we returned to Fenton in a taxi. We set off along Stanier Road and we turned right. We turned left onto the B5044. We turned left onto the A525 and left onto the Northbound A34. We turned right onto Ryecroft and we ran forwards onto the one-way system. We continued onto the A52 and we ran into Hartshill. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned left onto Shelton Old Road and we joined the Southbound A500. We ran up to the next junction we turned left onto City Road and right into Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. In the morning we went to Shavington by car. Later on Matthew went downstairs We got in the car and we set off onto Temple Street where we saw Temple Street Methodist Church minibus DN03 WKK. we turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill towards Stoke and we turned right onto the A52. We travelled alongside the railway line and we continued past the railway station. We continued past the university and at Joiner Square we turned left onto Lichfield Street. We ran up the hill into Hanley and we joined the anti-clockwise ring road. We continued to the end and we turned right onto Waterloo Road. We ran through Cobridge and into Burslem. We continued onto Scotia Road and we by-pass the centre of Tunstall before joining the High Street near to the police station. We continued through Sandyford and Goldenhill and into Kidsgrove. We turned left and we headed to the A34. We ran Southwards towards Chesterton and we joined the Northbound A500. We went under the M6 and we continued past Weston. We turned right onto David Whitby Way and we headed towards Crewe. We turned left onto the A534 and we saw D&G 48 on a #12 service. We turned left onto Gresty Road and we headed Southwards. At the end of Gresty Lane we turned left onto Rope Lane and we stopped at the leisure centre. Once there Matthew we to use the soft play area. There had been a delivery of new equipment so the soft play area had been closed today. After we had finished we went to Crewe by car. We set off along Rope Lane and we turned right onto Gresty Road. We ran up to the centre of Crewe and we parked up. We turned right onto the A534 and we ran past the railway station. We turned right onto Weston Road and we stopped at the pub. For dinner Matthew had Matthew had a Mixed Grill followed by Lemon Meringue Pie for afters. When we had finished we returned to Fenton in the car. We ran Southwards down the A532 and we continue onto David Whitby Way. M6 motorway, We Joined the eastbound A500 and we ran under the M6. We continued Southwards to Talke and we joined the Southbound A34. We ran Southwards through Chesterton and Milehouse and into Newcastle. We turned left onto Ryecroft and right onto Barracks Road. We re-joined the Southbound A34 and we went past the hospital. We turned left onto Newcastle Lane and we ran up to the centre of Penkhull. We turned onto St Thomas's Place and left onto Princes Road past the old A&E department. At the end we turned left onto the A52. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 onto City Road and we went under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew chilled out in his room before going out later on. We saw Lucky Seven SF04 CVK heading towards Stoke. Later we went to Hanley on the bus. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and down to the stop outside the flats. We waited for a bus to Hanley. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 126 on a #1 to Park Site.

We got on the bus and we booked to Shelton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road. we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station. We ran up Stoke Road and we turned right College Road where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we we walked down College Road. we turned left onto Avenue Road where we saw Travel Express NK14 FMU. We walked to the end of Avenue Road and we stopped at the benches at the end to eat the Chewits and drink the can of Fanta orange. we got in the car set off onto College Road. At the next roundabout we turned left onto Ridgeway Road. We turned right onto Mawson Road and left onto the A52. At Joiners square we turned right onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill. We turned right onto Manor Street and we turned right onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple street and back to the residential unit. Later on Matthew went back upstairs. Later on Matthew went to the adult social at the old adventure playground. We went downstairs and we went in a Lucky Seven taxi. We got in the taxi and we set off onto Temple Street where we saw Temple Street Methodist Church minibus DN03 WKK. we turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and under the railway line into Stoke. We crossed over the A500. We joined the Northbound A500.
