Trip to Hanley / Oakhill 28-01-2020

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We waited at the bus stop by the flats for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw Christchurch Primary DU56 DNN.

The bus turned the corner and as it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street where we saw First Potteries 32649 on a #25 to Hanley. and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and due to roadworks we ran to the end of Station Road and turned right. We ran up Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street bus station where we saw Park's of Hamilton BV67 JYX on a #333 to Bournemouth. We got up and got off the bus Once off the bus we set off onto Lichfield Street and we went forwards onto Tontine Street. We turned right onto Parliament Street. We turned left onto parliament Row and we visited McDonalds. Matthew had some Big Mac fries and a cup of Coke. Afterwards we walked down Parliament Street and onto Percy Street and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and had a Coke. Once we had finished we returned to the bus station. We set off onto Percy Street and we turned right onto Tontine Street. We went straight onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. Whilst we waited for departure time we saw Edwards Coaches National Express liveried coach BV67 JYB on a #528 service to Haverfordwest and First Potteries 63173 on a #7A to Biddulph. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street we saw Harry Shaw YR17 CYL at the depot. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. We went passed the former chemists which is becoming a new dessert shop. and we ran down the hill and we turned left onto Station Road and past the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road. Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. At the day centre. to the residential unit we set off on foot onto Christchurch Street and left onto Temple Street. Matthew went upstairs to his room and use his computer. He also watched buses out of the window before going out later on. We saw Stanton's of Stoke BSZ 2143.

Later on we went out. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street and left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and under the railway line before we crossed over the A500. We went around the one-way system in Stoke town centre and we turn ed left onto Lonsdale Street. We turned right onto Fleming Road and left onto London Road. In Oakhill we stopped at a chip shop and Matthew picked up some food. We set off down London Road and we turned right onto the A34 where we saw First Potteries 65031 a on #101 to Stafford. We turned off the A34 and we stopped at Grandma's house. Matthew went on the computer and had a can of Irn Bru. For tea Matthew had sausage chips and gravy followed by treacle tart and custard. Staff came to pick Matthew up in the car and Matthew said goodbye to Grandma and we set off onto Occupation Street. We turned onto the A34 and we ran past Newcastle. Near to the KFC we turned left onto Robertson Avenue. We crossed forwards onto Douglas Road and forwards to the disco. We spent some time at the disco. Matthew went to the toilet and a glass of coke. God knows what your teeth are like! You are forever eating chocolate, cake and drinking Coke. Eat some proper food for a change. After doing some dancing we returned to Fenton. We ran back to the A34 and we went South into Newcastle. We turned left onto the A527 and we ran up to the Jubilee Roundabout. We ran around the one-way system onto George Street and we ran into Hartshill. We ran down Hartshill Road into Stoke and we went around the one-way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 and onto City Road before going under the railway line. We climbed the hill and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus to Stafford later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Temple Street church RX18 GZW parked up in the Street. we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Hanley. After a short wait we saw First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road. and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 67155 before it returned to Newstead on a #23.

Once off the bus we went to the stop to wait for a bus to Stafford. We saw Park's of Hamilton BF68 LBL on a #333 to Bournemouth. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67639 on a #101 to Stafford. We got on the bus bus and we booked to Stafford before We sat down towards the back of the bus and the bus loaded quickly and departed almost immediately. We set off through the bus station. and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and left onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned right onto Shelton New Road. We ran down through Etruria an up into Hartshill before joining the A52. We ran into Newcastle down George Street. We joined the one way system and we turned left on the roundabout onto Barracks Road. As we got to the bus station in Newcastle we saw required First Potteries 63172 on a #22 to Longton. bus station onto Barracks Road. We ran Southwards onto the A34 and we ran down through Trent Vale and into Hanford. We continued down through to Trentham we saw PMT 207 now owned by the Potteries Omnibus Preservation Society. A34. We ran through Tittensor to Darlaston and we continued down to the North end of Stone. We Veered left onto Newcastle Road and we ran into Stone town centre. After going around the one-way system and onto Stafford Road. We crossed over the A34 onto Eccleshall Road. We turned left onto Tilling Drive and we ran onto the industrial estate. We saw former Kent County Council minibus GN05 NRF. We rejoined the A34 at the roundabout where the A51 goes Eastwards and we ran Southwards through the fast section on the A34 to the A513 roundabout. We ran the last couple of miles into town down the A34 onto Foregate Street and we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 67639 as it continued towards the Gaol Square.

Once off the bus we set off along Foregate Street and we crossed over the roundabout onto Gaolgate Street. We crossed the Market Square and we continued onto Greengate Street and we visited McDonalds. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. After eating his food Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards we left McDonalds and we set off along Greengate Street. We croosed Market Square and we continued onto Gaolgate Street. We turned the corner onto Chell Road and we waited for a bus back towards Newcastle. A short time later we saw First Potteries 65038 on a #101 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we book to Newcastle. The bus set off along Chell Road and we ran down to the railway station. We ran around the South end of town and over the river onto Cope Street. We ran up Eastgate and along North Walls and into the Gaol Square bus station. We left the bus station onto the A34 and we ran Northwards to the edge of town. We continued up the fast section of the A34 to the edge of Stone and then we turned left onto the industrial estate. We ran around the estate and onto Tiling Drive. We turned right onto Eccleshall Road and we crossed the A34 onto Stafford Road. We turned left onto Crown Street and we stopped at the main stop in Stone. We ran North up Newcastle Road and we re-joined the Northbound A34. We ran Morth through Meaford and Tittensor and up into Trentham. We continued North through Hanford and Trent Vale where we saw First Potteries 67663 on a #22 to Longton. and we past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle. We turned right onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station from the South end. We got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 65038 before it continued towards Hanley.

Once off the bus we set off onto Castle Walk and we stopped at heron Foods. We bought a cake and we set off along castle Walk back to the bus station. We waited for a bus back towards Fenton. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 157 on a #9 to Westbury Park.

A short time later we saw a bus come into the bus station. It was First Potteries 677699 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on booked to Fenton. we sat down. the bus waiting to depart, we saw required Arriva Midlands 3692 on a #164 to Market Drayton. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we saw Afford Rent-A-Car MK67 UER. We walked back to the residential unit. we went upstairs to his room and chilled out on his computer. For tea Matthew had a ham bap and a slice of chocolate cake and cream for afters. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. Later on Matthew went downstairs to do his shopping. We set off onto City Road. After crossing over the road we turned right into Manor Street. At the end we turned left onto Victoria Road. Part way down Victoria Road we saw First Potteries 67653 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge. We turned left onto Victoria Road. and we ran down to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran forwards onto Lichfield Street. We ran up to the ring road and we ran anti-clockwise around Hanley. We turned right onto the A50 and we ran Northwards through Cobridge into Burslem. We continued up Scotia Road towards Tunstall and we continued onto the High Street and Northwards through Goldenhill. We ran down the hill to Kisgrove and we continued under the railway line and canal into Cheshire. We ran through to Rode Heath and we turned right onto the A5011. We turned left onto the A533 and we ran the last few miles into Sandbach. We followed the A533 Northwards through town and we turned right into the town centre. We parked up on the common and we saw D&G Bus 140 on a #316 to Cooksmere Lane. We walked down the High Street and we stopped at the pub for dinner. Matthew went to the toilet and after wards had dinner. He had a burger and chips washed down with a glass of Coke. For dessert Matthew had a chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When we had finished we walked back to the Common. We returned to Fenton in a lucky Seven taxi. We set off onto the A533 and we headed Southwards. We ran down to Rode Heath and we turned right onto the B5011. We turned left onto the A50 and we ran through Kidsgrove. We ran through Goldenhill and we joined the A527 towards the Chatterley Valley. We joined the Southbound A500 and we ran through Longport and Etruria. We came off the A500 at Stoke and we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we and right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and back to his room to chill out. we saw First Potteries 67663 on a #23 to Hanley.

Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we saw Afford rent-a-car KV19 NUK outside there yard.

We stood at the bus stop outside the flats and we waited for a bus to Hanley. Whilst we waited we saw Stanton's of Stoke RUI 2486 heading towards Stoke. A short time later we saw First Potteries 67663 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We turned left onto Stafford Street. We continued forwards onto Bryan Street and we went to Cineworld. Matthew had a hot dog and Coke. He went to the toilet and afterwards he saw Motherless Brooklyn at the cinema. When he had finished we set off back down Bryan Street onto Stafford Street we saw First Potteries 67635 on a #7 to Kidsgrove. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we saw First Potteries 63146 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We headed into the bus station and we waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 44514 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton. As the bus was empty Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 44514 before we sat down.

Whilst we waited for departure time we saw Park's of Hamilton BF68 LBN on a #548 to Birmingham. We set off out of the bus station and onto john Street. At the bottom of the hill we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road. We turned right onto Avenue Road and left onto Stoke Road. In Stafford we saw Arriva Midlands 2378 on a #8 to Moss Pit.

We set off along the path through to Broad Street and we continued onto Stafford Street. We turned right onto Gaolgate Street and past the Market Square. We stopped at Greggs on Greengate Street and Matthew had a sausage roll and and a bottle of Coke. Once we had finished in the shop we walked back to the square and we ate the sausage roll and drank the Coke. Once we had finished eating and drinking we walked through the shopping centre and back onto Broad Street we visited Wilko and we continued to Home Bargains. We brought a Mint Aero. Once we had finished we crossed over Chell Road and we visited the toilet in Sainsburys. We crossed over the road and we waited for bus back towards Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 65026 on a #101 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we book to Hanley. The bus set off along Chell Road and we ran down to the railway station. We ran around the South end of town and over the river onto Cope Street. We saw First Potteries 67652 on a #11 to Newcastle. we went downstairs and we set off onto onto We walked onto City Road and we saw D&G 119 on a #1A to Meir. We crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of Manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we went down the hill to Aldi. we saw Z Carz PY08 KDX Matthew brought his shopping and then we got a Lucky Seven taxi back to the residential unit. We set off onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill. We turned right onto Manor Street and right onto Hallam Street. We turned right onto Elsing Road. We turned right onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left again onto Temple Street. We went back to the back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out. For tea Matthew had bangers and mash followed by slice of Strawberry cheesecake. After tea Matthew went downstairs and went for a walk to the pub. We set off onto City Road and we headed eastwards towards KFC. We continued onto King Street and we walked into Foley. We stopped at the pub and Matthew visited the toilet. Afterwards he had a glass of Coke. I was out at work and had to pick someone up from Fenton. When Matthew had finished we set off onto King Street. We went forwards onto City Road and we cut through onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and back to Matthew's room. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw PMT 766 to Wings and Wheels. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we saw Afford rent-a-car KV19 NUC outside there yard.

We carried on down the road and we waited for a First Potteries bus to Newcastle. Whilst we waited A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and once in the bus station we saw First Potteries 37158 on a #32 to Uttoxeter. we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went to the stop to wait for a bus to Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 65035 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on the bus bus and we booked to Newcastle before We sat down towards the back of the bus and the bus loaded quickly and departed almost immediately. We set off through the bus station where we saw dud Park's of Hamilton LSK 835 on a #548 to Edinburgh. and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and left onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned right onto Shelton New Road. We ran down through Etruria an up into Hartshill before joining the A52. We ran into Newcastle down George Street. We joined the one way system and we turned left on the roundabout onto Barracks Road. As we got to the bus station we saw Arriva Midlands 2989 on a #164 to Hanley.

Once off the bus we went to the toilet. Afterwards we walked up Castle Walk and we stopped at Wilko's. We also stopped at Poundland. Afterwards we continued up Castle Walk and we stopped at the Pound Bakery. We picked up a sausage roll and a cake. We turned left onto Ironmarket and we walked to the Roebuck Centre. We visited Iceland and brought some shopping. We went into Boots, and afterwards we went to McDonalds where we we had chicken nuggets, fries and a cup of Coke. We walked up the High Street and we turned right onto Ironmarket. We walked down castle walk and we stopped at Home Bargains. Matthew brought a bottle of Coke. When we had finished we walked down Castle Walk and back to the bus station. We saw First Potteries 67699 about to work the next #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. Whilst we waited for departure we saw First Potteries 67634 on a #4 to Hanley. We set off out of the bus station and we ran onto Barracks Road. We turned right at Jubilee roundabout onto the A53 and we ran around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street and into Hartshill we saw First Potteries 67636 on a #11 to Newcastle. We ran through the village and down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop in Church Street we continued into Fenton up the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We ran up City Road and we got off just before the swimming baths turn. Once of the bus we crossed over and we walked down the hill to The Range. Matthew did some shopping and afterwards returned to Fenton in a Lucky Seven taxi. We got in the taxi and we set off onto City Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew chilled out in his room using his computer. Later on Matthew went out to KFC. Matthew went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and right onto City Road. We walked past Philpots and at the roundabout we turned right into KFC. Matthew had a chickenburger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. Whilst we ate we saw First Potteries 32634 on a #6 to Hanley. Once we had finished eating we walked back along City Road and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a can of Fanta orange. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

We saw Park's of Hamilton LSK 839 on a #548 to Edinburgh. We set off through the bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and left onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned right onto Shelton New Road. We ran down through Etruria an up into Hartshill before joining the A52. We ran through Tittensor to Darlaston and we continued down to the North end of Stone. We Veered left onto Newcastle Road and we ran into Stone town centre. When we got to the main stop we got up and got of the bus. Once off the bus we walked down the high Street. There was a festival going on and there was a band playing music. We crossed over the ring road and we continued Southwards down the B5027. We turned around and we headed back up the High Street. We stopped at Superdrug and we did some shopping. Later on we went to a cafe. It was busy so we continued up the High Street and we went to pub. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a Coke. For afters he had chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. He went to the toilet and afterwards we set up Station Road and we turned left onto Margaret Street. We turned right onto the B5027 and we wen under the railway bridge. We crossed over and we waited for a bus back to Hanley. A short time later we saw the bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 32639 on a #101 to Hanley.

We got on and booked to Hanley before we went upstairs. The top deck of the bus was empty so Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 32639 before we sat down.

We set off along the B5027 ran North up Newcastle Road and we re-joined the Northbound A34. We ran North through Meaford and Tittensor and up into Trentham. We continued North through Hanford and Trent Vale and we saw silver minibus DS14 TZJ waiting at the traffic lights. We past the City General hospital before going into Newcastle. We turned right onto Barracks Road and we entered the bus station from the South end. After a brief stop into Newcastle bus station we set off onto Barracks Road. We crossed the roundabout onto the A53 and we went onto the one-way system on the A52. We veered left onto George Street and at the roundabout we went onto Shelton New Road. We crossed over the A500 and we ran up to Snow Hill. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and we saw Harry Shaw YD63 FFR parked up. We turned right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew visited the toilet. We waited for the bus to Fenton ans a short time later we saw First Potteries 67157 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down. Whilst we waited for departure time we saw D&G 56 on a #85 to Nantwich. We set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We then walked back to the day centre. Later on we returned to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window. Later on Matthew went to KFC for tea. we went downstairs and we cut through onto City Road. We walked towards Foley and we stopped at KFC. Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards he had chicken popcorn and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. When we had finished eating we went back to the residential unit. We set off onto City Road and we cut through onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went to his room to chill out. I came for 30 minutes as Matthew had been unable to get on the Blog. I sorted out the new password and we did some of the Blog together before we said goodbye. Matthew drank a can of Irn Bru that I had brought up from the car. After I had left Matthew chilled out in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Later on we went downstairs and we set off on foot to the bus stop. We walked onto Temple Street and and we crossed over Christchurch Street. We went through the alleyway onto the car park and we crossed over City Road. We walked up to the bus stop near to Philpott's and we waited for a bus towards Longton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 43875 on a #11 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We carried on along City Road and we continued forwards onto King Street. We ran through Foley and we under the railway line into Longton town centre. We stopped outside the old job centre as the #11 no longer calls in the Interchange. We ran up Market Street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran up the hill to the top and ran down to the roundabout in Adderley Green. At the roundabout at the East end of Bentilee we turned right onto Beverley Drive and then left onto Dawlish Drive. We ran to the end and we turned left onto Beverley Drive. We got up and got off the bus at the Twigg Street stop. We had a few minutes at the bus stop and we got back on First Potteries 43875 on the #11 to Hanley. We set off from the bus top along Beverley Drive. At the end we turned right onto Dividy Road and we ran down the hill to Bucknall. We turned left onto the A52 and we ran to limekiln lights and we went across onto Bucknall New Road. We climbed the hill up to Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Road and right onto John Street and into the bus station where we saw Park's of Hamilton LSK 835 on a #548 to Birmingham. We got up and got off the bus and we set off onto Lichfield Street. We continued along Tontine Street and up to Parliament Row. We stopped at the Card Factory and Matthew did some shopping. Once we had finished we went to the Intu Potteries shopping centre. Matthew went to Game. When we had finished in the shopping centre we crossed Tontine Square to the cafe. Matthew had a sausage and cheese oatcake washed down with a glass of coke. We crossed Tontine Square and we continued onto Stafford Street. We continued forwards onto Bryan Street and we went to Cineworld. Matthew had a cup of Coke. He went to the toilet and afterwards he saw Godzilla at the cinema. When he had finished we set off back down Bryan Street onto Stafford Street we saw First Potteries 67665 on a #3 to Crewe. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short while later we saw First Potteries 32632 on a #6 to Coalville.

We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 278. Once off the bus we set off on foot on the road at the back of Victoria Road. We turned right onto George Street and left onto Millicent Street. We turned right onto Kent place and we walked down the passage onto William Street and onto Manor Street. We crossed over City Road and we went back to the residential unit. Matthew went to his room to chill out and use his computer. He also watched buses out of the window. We saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX out of the window.

We turned left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran forwards onto Lichfield Street. We ran onto Town Road and we veered left onto the clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We turned right onto the A52 and we ran towards the railway station. We ran alongside the railway line and at the roundabout we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we arrived back at the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. later on he had a bath. For supper Matthew had some toast. Matthew went to bed around 23:00... Mark

We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we got up and got off. Once off the bus we crossed over the road and we went into Hanley Park. Whilst in the park we saw Park's of Hamilton BV67 JYX on a #548 to Edinburgh. We walked over to the pavillion which is currently being worked on and renovated. Once we had finished in the park we walked out onto College Road. We looked over the wall into the college and we saw Stoke on Trent College KV19 NSE in their car park.

We called for a taxi to take us Etruria. We walked along the canal as far as Stoke Road and we walked up through Snow Hill onto Broad Street. We turned left onto Sun Street and we stopped at the local supermarket. We had chicken burger and fries washed down with a can of Coke. The taxi arrived and it was a Lucky Seven taxi. we got in the car and we set off along Sun Street. We turned right and we ran up Etruria Vale Road to the park where we got out of the taxi. We spent some time in the park and we called for a taxi to Star Taxi Travel PO12 JSU. We got on the bus and we set off along Etruria Vale Road. At Snow Hill we turned left onto Broad street. We stopped at Wood Terrace and we got up and got off the taxi. We set off on foot through the passageway onto Lawrence Street and through onto College Road. We walked through Hanley Park to the opposite side and we came out on Boughey Road and to the Spar. We saw Travel Express BG61 KTK. We called Travel Express and we did the taxi from Shelton to Fenton. Transport for the trip was Travel Express BG61 KTJ.

We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Smithpool Road where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 67153 as it continued towards Newstead.
