Trip to Hanley / Longton 22-05-2025

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Robin Hood YJ13 HTZ. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 and ran under the railway line. After crossing over the A500 we ran into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We turned right onto Shelton Old Road. We ran forwards onto Stoke Road. We ran under the railway line and up through Shelton. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked along Bagnall Street and we walked past the Town Hall and we went forwards onto Old Hall Street and we went into B&M. Matthew brought some of his weekly shopping. Once we had paid for our shopping we walked out of the shop and forwards onto Tontine Street. We walked through Tontine Square onto Parliament Row. We stopped at Poundland and Matthew brought a bottle of Coke. After we had been to Poundland we stopped on Upper Market Square and We sat down and Matthew had a bottle of coke. When we had finished we walked along Tontine Street and forwards onto Lichfield Street and we stopped at the bus station to use the toilet. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63346 on a #103 to Crewe.

A short time later we saw a bus come on stand. It was First Potteries 35944 on a #25 to Keele.

We got on the bus and we booked to the Keele before we went upstairs and we sat down. We set off out of bus station and onto John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and left onto Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned left onto Station Road and we past the railway station. We ran forwards onto the A52 and we ran alongside the railway line before turning right onto City Road. We crossed over the A500 and we ran into Stoke centre along Church Street. We went out of the other side of Stoke and up Hartshill Road into Hartshill. We turned left into The Avenue and we ran down to Hilton Road and we turned right into the hospital where we ran through the hospital and we turned right onto the A34. We ran up to Newcastle and forwards onto Barracks Road at the roundabout. We came into the bus station. We got up and we got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked out of the bus station onto Castle Walk and we stopped at heron Foods. We bought a cake and we set off along castle Walk back to the bus station. Matthew went to the toilet. We continued onwards to the bus station and we saw D&G Bus 6001 on a #9 to Biddulph.

A few minutes later the bus turned up and it was dud First Potteries 63362 on a #22 to Longton.

We got on the bus and we booked to Longton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto Barracks Road and we ran Southwards onto the A34. We turned left into the hospital and we ran through the the grounds. We turned right onto Hilton Road and forwards onto Harpfields Road. We ran to the end and we turned left onto the Southbound A34. We ran under the A500 into Hanford and we turned left onto Church Lane. We climbed to the top of the hill and we turned right onto Wilson Road. We turned left onto New Inn Lane and we ran into Trentham. We turned left onto the A5035 and we crossed over the railway line into Blurton. We passed the end of Stanley Matthew Way and we turned left onto Magdalen Road. We turned right onto Finstock Avenue and left onto Beaconsfield Drive and we ran through the estate to the other end. We turned left onto Church Road and at the the roundabout we turned left onto Blurton Road. We ran to the bottom of the hill and we turned right onto Longton Hall Road. We ran up the hill and we ran forwards onto Heathcote Street. We turned left onto the high level A50 and at the roundabout we turned right onto Baths Road. We ran past Tesco before turning right into Longton Interchange. where we got up and got off the bus. We walked over to Tesco and Matthew used the toilet. Once off we walked onto The Strand and we walked to the bus stop. We waited for a bus towards Fenton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63366 on a #6 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sitting down. The bus set off down The Strand. After a brief stop we ran down under the railway bridge onto King Street. We ran down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road past the new petrol station and coffee shop. We turned right into Victoria Road and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off on foot onto City Road. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we walked back into Temple Street and into the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and chilled out in his room and use his computer and watch buses out of the window. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. We walked down to the bus stop outside the flats. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67173 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 and ran under the railway line. After crossing over the A500 we ran into Stoke town centre along Church Street. We turned right onto Shelton Old Road. We ran forwards onto Stoke Road. We ran under the railway line and up through Shelton. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and Matthew visited the toilet. Once off the bus we set off onto Lichfield Street. We continued along Tontine Street. We continued onto Tontine Square and we visited the Card Factory. After we had finished we walked across Tontine Square onto Parliament Row. We stopped at KFC. Matthew had a fillet tower burger meal with fries and a cup of Coke. After eating his tea Matthew visited the toilet. Afterwards we set off down Tontine Street and forwards onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. We waited for the next #23 back to Fenton. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67173 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we booked to Blurton before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus waited for time before setting off out of the bus station. We went down John Street and onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto Broad Street and we ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Snow Hill Before we turned left onto Copeland Street. We continued forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the road around onto Church Street. We crossed the A500 and we ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road and we ran under the railway line. After climbing up the hill into Fenton we turned right into Christchurch Street where we got up and got off the bus. We walked back to to the residential unit. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we walked back into Temple Street and into the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to the room and went on his computer. He also ate the a can of Irn Bru and a golden crunch creams. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Mattew woke up at 08:00 and had his nedication. Matthew got up at 09:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. In the morning Matthew went out to catch a few buses. We went downstairs and we saw Robin Hood YJ13 HTC. We set off on foot onto City Road and we crossed over the road and headed along Manor Street. We walked to the end and we turned left onto Victoria Road. A short time later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63348 on a #6 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off down Victoria Road. crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street and we turned left onto the ring road. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. We went to the shop in the bus station and Matthew had toffee crisp. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A short time later we saw First Potteries 63364 on a #7A to Biddulph. A short time later we saw a bus come on stand. It was First Potteries 63117 on a #25 to Keele.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout we turned right onto the A52 and we ran towards Stoke. By the railway station we ran alongside the railway line before turning right onto City Road. We crossed over the A500 and we ran into Stoke centre along Church Street. We went out of the other side of Stoke and up Hartshill Road into Hartshill. We turned left into The Avenue and we ran down to Hilton Road and we turned right into the hospital where we saw ABC Supreme YB73 VZV. We ran through the hospital and we turned right onto the A34. We ran up to Newcastle and forwards onto Barracks Road at the roundabout. We entered the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew went to the toilet. We walked out of the bus station onto Castle Walk and we visited Poundland. When we had finished shopping we walked up Castle Walk and we turned right onto Ironmarket and we went to Queens Gardens where Matthew had a chicken sandwich washed down with can of Irn Bru. Once we had finished the drink we set off onto Ironmarket and right onto Castle Walk and we stopped at the Coffee House. Matthew brought a jam filled shortbread biscuit. Matthew went to the toilet and we continuing along Castle Walk and into the bus station. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 63102 on a #25 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto barracks Road and we ran down onto the Southbound A34 and we turned left and we traveled through the hospital we saw Travel Express SJ18 OZO. We came out of the hospital and turned left onto Hilton Road. We ran into Hartshill and we turned right onto the A52. We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke town centre. We went forwards onto and along Church Street. After a brief stop we continued along the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 and we ran past the railway station to joiners Square. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street and into the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. Afterwards we waited for a bus towards Fenton. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63112 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Longton we sat down. We set off up set off onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and left onto Lichfield Street and we turned right onto Birch Terrace. We followed the road around onto Charles Street and we turned right onto Old Hall Street. We crossed over the ring road onto Bucknall New Road. We ran down the hill through Limekiln lights and we turned right onto Dividy Road. We turned left onto Beverley Drive and right onto Dawlish Drive. We ran through the estate and back onto the A5272. We ran up to Adderley Green and we saw First Potteries 35261 parked in the garage. At the roundabout we turned right onto Anchor Road. We turned left onto Market Street and right onto Commerce Street past the former Co-op Bank. We went around the roundabout and turned right onto The Strand where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went down The Strand and we continued along Wood Street and past the former GP Surgery where work has started to build new flats. We returned to the residential unit in Autocabs taxi. We set off down Wood Street and we turned left onto Woodcote Close and right onto Clarence Road. We turned right onto King Street and we continued down through Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We went past the site of the new Burger King. We ran down the hill to Smithpool Road. We turned left and left again onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on his computer. Later on Matthew went downstairs. We set off onto Temple Streeet and onto Christchurch Street and into the Co-operative food store. Matthew brought a Milky Way before setting off back to the house. We went onto Christchurch Street and onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and Matthew went back to his room to chill out. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Travel Express GC65 OXG. We turned left onto Smithpool Road. We went across the spare ground onto Willowdale Avenue and onto Whieldon Road and into uncle Dave's. Dave's house. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots with gravy followed by a slice of toffee cheesecake. Later on he had a drink of Fanta orange and a few malted milk biscuits. Uncle Dave now has a biscuit tin. Matthew chilled out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home by car. We got in the car and we set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street past the Queen Elizabeth II Court. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the dentist and we saw First Potteries 67176 on a #11 to Newcastle. Matthwe went into the living room and we saw Temple Street Church RX18 GZW. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Hanley. We stood at the bus stop outside the flats and we waited for a bus to Hanley. Whilst we waited we saw Robin Hood LT12 TZX.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station ans we turned right onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street. We turned right onto John Street and we saw First Potteries 67156 on a #7 to Kidsgrove. We entered the bus station and we got up and got off the bus. We waited for a bus to Newcastle. we saw First Potteries 65032 on a #18 to Leek. Whilst we waited for a bus back to Keele. A short time later we saw First Potteries 32635 on a #25 to Keele.

We got on the bus and we booked to the Keele before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we ran down John Street onto Bethesda street where we crossed over the ring road and we saw First Potteries 63103 on a #25 to Hanley. We ran down through Shelton along Cauldon Road and we turned left onto Station Road outside the railway station. We went forwards onto A52 and we followed the road around to the right and under the railway line. We crossed over the A500. We continued into Stoke centre along Church Street. We went out of the other side of Stoke and up Hartshill Road into Hartshill. We turned left into The Avenue and we ran down to Hilton Road and we turned right into the hospital where we saw ABC Supreme YA67 VBD. We ran through the hospital and we turned right onto the A34. We ran up to Newcastle and forwards onto Barracks Road at the roundabout. We came into the bus station onto Barracks Road we turned right onto Ryecroft. We veered left onto Merrial Street and after a brief stop we ran forwards onto Church Street. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran forwards onto the A525. We turned right into Orme Road and we saw First Potteries 37146 on a #25 to Hanley. We continued along Orme Road before we re-joined the Westbound A525. We climbed the steep hill up to Keele and we turned left into the campus. We turned left onto University Drive we did a u-turn and headed into the campus. At the main roundabout we turned left and we ran around the shops and student union bar. We ran through the campus past the back of the library and out the other side into the village. We got up and got off the bus. We crossed over The Village and walked to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. For dinner Matthew had a cajun chicken burgers followed by chocolate brownie and ice cream. After we had finished eating we went outside and we saw First Potteries 32635 on a #25 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Stoke we sitting down. We set off through the campus We turned right onto University Drive and we ran up to the entrance of the campus before turning right onto the A525. We ran down the hill and we crossed over the roundabout. We went past the scrapyards which is going to be the site of some new houses. We turned left onto Orme Road. We ran through the estate and to the end of the road. We turned left onto the A525 and at the roundabout onto the Southbound A34. We ran down two roundabout and we went left onto Barracks Road. We entered the bus station and we pulled up on stand. After a short while in the bus station the bus set off out onto Barracks Road. We went Southwards on the A34 before turning into the hospital. We trundled through the hospital grounds and ran up to Hartshill Road via Hilton Road and The Avenue. We went down Hartshill Road into Stoke town centre and we continued onto Church Street and the bus topped in the town centre. After a brief stop we continued along the A52, over the A500 and under the railway line. We followed the A52 to the left and we ran alongside the railway and onto Station Road. We passed the railway station we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set off along Station Road and we stopped at Subway and Matthew had a with a cup of Coke and a cookie. We walked through Station Road and we waited for the next bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and booked to Fenton before sitting down. The bus set off along Station Road before turning right onto Glebe Street. The bus carried on around the one way system before we joined onto Church Street and went across the A500. We crossed under the railway line and onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and walked back to the residential unit. Matthew went back up to his room to chill out and use his computer. We went downstairs and we set off We walked onto Temple Street and left onto Christchurch Street. We continued along Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Baker Street and past the former Day Centre. We turned left onto Glebedale Road. After Matthew had seen the Health Centre. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto Baker Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street. We walked back into Temple Street and into the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out. For tea Matthew had Pasta and Tomato Sauce followed by a Toffee sponge pudding and custard. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. On the way to the bus stop we saw Cabability WA15 EEV. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67154 on a #23 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Street and right onto Copeland street. A short while later we saw it was First Potteries 67156 on a #6 to Meir. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned right onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we we walked around the corner and onto City Road. We walked back down and crossed over the road at the pelican Cross before cutting through to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to Newcastle we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 992. We went downstairs and we walked through onto City Road. We walked down to the stop outside the flats and we waited for a First Potteries bus to Newcastle. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 67159 on a #23 to Hanley. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was First Potteries 69170 on a #11 to Newcastle. We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus Matthew got a picture of First Potteries 69170 before it returned towards Hanley on a #11 service.

Once we got off the bus we saw First Potteries 63114 on a #4 to Hanley. We walked out of the bus station onto Castle Walk and up onto Ironmarket Halifax cash machine to get some money out for an upcoming trip. When we had finished we walked along Ironmarket and down Castle Walk and we visited Home Bargains. Matthew brought a can of Coke. We walked up Castle Walk and we stopped at the Pound Bakery. Matthew brought a sausage roll before continuing along Castle Walk. We stopped at the benches at the end to eat the sausage rolls followed by a jam filled shortbread biscuit and drink the can of Coke. After a short time we saw First Potteries 69161 on a #11 to Hanley. We walked out of the bus station onto Castle Walk and into Wilko. Matthew brought a pick and mix. We returned to the bus station. A short time later we saw First Potteries 37156 on a #101 to Stafford.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station onto barracks Road and we ran down onto the Southbound A34. We turned left into the hospital and we saw Roseville BV60 BAA. We ran through the grounds and onto Hilton Road. We continued onto Albany Road and we turned right onto The Avenue. At the end of the road we turned right onto the A52 and we ran through Hartshill and down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we cut through to the residential unit. We went upstairs and chilled out in his room. Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road past the new sheltered housing complex. We crossed over the A500 and went into Stoke town centre. After a short while we saw First Potteries 32639 on a #25 to Keele. We walked around the corner onto Campbell Place onto London Road. We walked past Sainsbury's. went into Iceland to do some shopping. Matthew did his weekly shop and we returned to Fenton in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off along London Road and forwards onto Campbell place. We followed the one-way system to the left onto Church Street and we veered left onto Liverpool Road. We veered right onto Elanora street and we followed the road to the right onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way-system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 and we ran forwards onto City Road. We went under the railway line and we ran up City Road into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs and we dropped the shopping off. We went downstairs to the car. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Smithpool Road and left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and under the railway line into Stoke. We crossed over the A500. We went around the one-way system. We ran up the hill into Hartshill and we continued to the edge of Newcastle. We turned right into Albert Street and we crossed over the A53 onto Sandy Lane. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A527. We ran through Wolstanton and we crossed over the roundabout onto Bradwell Lane and we stopped at the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. For tea Matthew had a burger and chips followed by chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Once we had finished eating we set off onto Bradwell Lane and we crossed over the roundabout and ran through Wolstanton. We ran forwards onto the A527 and we ran into Newcastle. We turned right onto Barracks Road and we ran past the bus station. As we reached the roundabout we saw Robin Hood YD64 UYU come around the roundabout in front of us. We continued onto the Southbound A34 and we turned left onto The Avenue. Travelling up towards Hartshill. At the end we turned right onto Hartshill Road passing ABC Supreme HV22 NXS. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 onto City Road and we went under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew collected a few suypplies from the car and headed upstairs. He chilled out in his room and watched TV. He had a can of Cherry Coke. He watched television and used his computer. Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to stay local. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We went downstairs and we and we cut through onto City Road to wait a bus to Newcastle. At the Afford garage we saw Afford rent-a-car DL21 NXZ parked up.

A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and booked a Smart Day ticket at £5.30. This ticket is a multi-operator ticket valid throughout the North Staffordshire area. We sat down ear to the back of the bus and the bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street. and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and due to roadworks we ran to the end of Station Road and turned right. We ran up Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street bus station. We got up and got off and we walked up Lichfield Street. We continued onto Tontine Street. We went into the Intu Potteries and we went up to HMV. We walked down Quadrant Road onto Town Road. We went into the Intu Potteries shopping centre and we went in the shopping centre. Once we had finished shopping we set off along Parliament Row and we stopped at the pub. For dinner Matthew had a mixed grill washed down with a glass of Coke. For afters Matthew had a slice of chocolate fudge cake with ice cream. Once we had finished eating we set off onto We walked back along parliament Row and we stopped at Poundland. We continued along Parliament Row and we turned right onto onto Old Hall Street. We turned right onto Lichfield Street and back to the bus station. In the bus station we saw First Potteries 65730 on a #7A to Biddulph. We waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Newstead.

We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus waited for time before setting off out of the bus station onto John Street and we turned left onto Bethesda Street we saw Harry Shaw YR17 CYL at the depot. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down onto Regent Road and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We ran down though Shelton along College Road and we ran down to the railway station. We turned right onto Glebe Street and under the railway line an we ran around the one-way system in Stoke and stopped by Stoke Minster. We turned left onto Church Street and we crossed the A500. We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over City Road and we headed for the bus stop. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching, As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 63173 on a #11 to Newcastle. We set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line. We went over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we went down to the bottom end of the bus station and we saw Arriva Midlands 3698 on a #64 to Market Drayton. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards we waited for a bus towards Hanley. A short time later we saw First Potteries 65034 on a #101 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we placed our Smart Day ticket under the scanner before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off out of the bus station and onto Barracks Road. We crossed the Jubilee Roundabout. We joined the one-way system and we ran onto the A52. We continued up to the top of George Street and we veered left onto the B5045. We went through the traffic light onto Shelton New Road. We crossed over the A500 and we ran up to Snow Hill. We ran up Broad Street and we turned right onto the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Bethesda Street and right onto John Street. We climbed the hill and up into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we decided that if we were going to go to Biddulph on the bus we would have to do it immediately and not got up to the car park. Matthew went to the toilet and then we to the Biddulph bus stop. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 63012 on the #7A to Biddulph. We got on the bus and we flashed the Smart Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and we ran down John Street. We turned right onto Bethesda Street and we crossed Broad street onto Marsh Street. We turned right onto Trinity Street and we stopped on Stafford Street to to pick up more passengers before we left town along Quadrant Road. We crossed over the ring road and we headed out of town towards Sneyd Green along Town Road. We continued to Smallthorne roundabouts and we continued forwards onto High Lane. At the end of High Lane we turned right onto the A527 and we ran down the hill through Fegg Hayes and up into Brindley Ford and past the coach depot. We turned left to run through Brown Lees. We crossed over the A527 at Knypersley and we ran around through the housing estates of Biddulph before running into town via St John's Road, Colliers Way and up Wharf Road to the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we used the toilet and turned the corner onto the High Street. We walked down the High Street to the shop and we returned back up to Wharf Road. A short while later the bus arrived and it was First Potteries 69162. We got on and flashed the Smart Day ticket to the driver before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto High Street and we turned left at the roundabout onto St John's Road. We ran around the estate and we crossed over the A527 at Knypersley We ran through Brown Lees via the diversion route and we rejoined the A527 by the industrial estate. We ran down through Brindley Ford and to Fegg Hayes. We ran up the hill to Chell and we turned left onto High Lane. We ran back through Smallthorne & Sneyd Green into Hanley. We entered town along Quadrant Road and we ran along Stafford Street and past the town hall into Bagnall Street. We ran into the bus station and we we got up and got off the bus. We walked down to the bottom end of the bus station and we saw First Potteries 37159 on a #25 to Keele. We got on the bus and we flashed The Knot ticket to the driver for the final time today before we went upstairs and sat down. We set off out of the bus station onto john Street and left onto Bethesda Street. We crossed over the ring road and we ran down through Shelton along Regent Road and College Road. We passed the railway station and we continued forwards onto the A52. We followed the road to the right under the railway line and we saw Robin Hood YD18 WYP. We crossed over the A500 entering Stoke town centre. We continued along Church Street onto Hartshill Road and into the centre of Hartshill. We turned left into the Avenue and left again onto Hilton Road before turning right into the City General Hospital. Once through the hospital we turned right onto the A34 and we ran into Newcastle. We crossed the roundabout and we ran up Barracks Road and into the bus station from the South end. Once we got ot the bus station we got up and got off the bus. In the bus station we saw Arriva Midlands 2944 on a #64 to Market Drayton. Mum was waiting in the car on other side of Barracks Road in a car park off Hassell Street. Matthew got in the car and had some Wright's Pie mini sausage rolls which he washed down with a can of Irn Bru. We set off down Barracks Road and on the A34. We ran down to Trent Vale. At Hanford roundabout we turned left onto The A500 and we went North to Sideway. We went East along the A50 heading Eastwards. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross and we turned left onto Blurton Road. We went through the traffic lights onto Heron Steeet. We carried on forwards onto Station Bridge Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Masterson Street and we turned right onto Watkin Street. We continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and chilled out in his room had double big mac, fries and a cup of coke followed by a Manchester Tart. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. When it was time to go to we went downstairs and and we got in the car. We set off onto Temple Street and at the end we turned left onto Smithpool Road and we turned right onto Whieldon Road and into uncle Dave's. Later on he had a few digestive biscuits and and some Irn Bru. Uncle Dave now has a biscuit tin. Matthew chilled out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street past the new building under construction, which is now getting near to completion. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out to Donnington later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw First Potteries 63098 on a #11 to Newcastle. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. At the day centre we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX parked outside.

In the morning Matthew went to Telford Wyevale Garden in Donnington on Lucky Seven SJ16 EOV. We got on bus and we set off onto Glebedale Road and we continued onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street we saw First Potteries 42553 on a #23A to Hanley. We went through to Heron Cross. As we ran along Blurton Road we saw Lightning Travel R6 DLT. We travelled through Blurton along Blurton Road and we went forwards onto Church Road. At the end we went right onto the A5035. We crossed the railway into Trentham and we ran down to the A34. We ran around Stafford town centre and at the roundbout we turned right onto the A518. We ran Westwards for around 8 miles until we got to the edge of Newport. We turned left onto the A41 and then right onto the A518. We ran to the North end of Donnington and the main roundabout we turned right onto Station Road. We turned right and into the garden centre. Matthew went to the toilet and in the cafe he had a breakfast washed down with a bottle of Coke followed by a chocolate cake. Matthew spent time soft play area before returning to Fenton on Lucky Seven SJ16 EOV. We set off onto Station Road and we turned left onto the A518. We ran up to the South end of Newport and we joined the Northbound A41 to by-pass the town. We turned right onto the A519 and we ran up to Eccleshall. We continued Northwards through the town and we crossed over the A51. We continued Northwards to Hanchurch and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran up to Stoke and we came off the A500. We turned right onto City Road and we ran under the railway line into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and use his computer. He also watched buses out of the window. We saw First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Hanley.

We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran past the railway station and on towards Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran up the hill to the ring road. We went anti-clockwise around town and we turned right onto Waterloo Road. We ran through Cobridge up to Burslem and we turned right onto Moorland Road. We ran to the top of the hill and we turned into the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Matthew had a mixed grill burger for tea followed by sticky toffee pudding. when it was time to go home we returned on an ABC Supreme taxi. It was ABC Supreme HV18 GVR again. We got on the bus and we set off onto Moorland Road and we ran down the hill into Burslem. We turned left into Waterloo Road and we ran through Cobridge. At the end we turned left onto the ring road. We went clockwise around Hanley and we turned left onto Lichfield Street. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we crossed over the roundabout onto Victoria Road. We ran up the hill and we turned sharp right onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going to see Grandma later on and going to the pub and returning to Blurton for a long weekend. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst he was waiting to out we saw First Potteries 67153 on a #11 to Newcastle. Around 09:00 we went downstairs and out of the unit. We set off outside and we saw Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU outside the residential unit.

In the morning Matthew did some baking and made cupcakes. For dinner Matthew had sausage chips and gravy followed by a cupcake. In the afternoon Matthew went to a coffee morning and ate cakes and won a box of biscuits in the raffle. When it was time to return to the residential unit we set of on foot onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Temple Street and we went into the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room and I was already waiting for him. We transferred his pictures back onto his camera and we got ready to go to Blurton. We went downstairs and we got into the car. We drove onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street and right onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street and into Heron Cross where we saw E-zec patient transport YJ16 GHV heading towards Longton. We went through the traffic lights and forwards onto Blurton Road. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Street. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive. We got home around 15:10. When we got home Matthew had toast and a glass of orange Irn Bru. Today we were catching the 15:56 to Newcastle as we were going to the pub via Grandma's House. We set off around 15:45 on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. Whilst we waited for our bus we saw First Potteries 67637 on a #22 to Longton.

As we turned right into New Inn Lane we saw First Potteries 41500 on a #21A to the Trentham Hotel. We ran up the hill into Hanford and we turned right into Wilson Road. We ran down Church Lane We continued down onto the A34 where we saw Gardiners BX14 KRN going Northwards. We crossed under the A500 and we ran into Trent Vale where we saw ABC Supreme FJ18 DNX. We turned right into Harpfields Road and saw First Potteries 41500 on the final #22 turn. We continued forwards on Hilton Road and we turned into the hospital. We ran through and we saw First Potteries 32633 on a #25 to Hanley and ABC Supreme ST56 MUE. We turned right onto the A34. A couple of stops down the road we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of First Potteries 63100 as it continued towards Newcastle.

We crossed over the A34 and we walked up the hill to Grandma's house. Matthew had a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. As mum was at work, grandad gave us a lift to the pub in his new car. We set off just after 17:40 and we ran down Victoria Street. We turned left onto the A34 and we saw First Potteries 63098 on a #101 to Hanley. and we ran southwards into Trent Vale. We carried on down the A34 and we went into the pub. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with custard. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included Robin Hood YJ10 JZF going Northwards and First Potteries 65036 on a #101 to Hanley. Once we had finished eating we went out to catch a bus towards home. We had missed the last #22 to Blurton by 15 minutes and since the timetable change the last bus of Newcastle is 18:09! We decided to catch a bus as far as Trentham and walk the rest of the way. We crossed over London Road and we waited at the stop opposite the pub. A few minutes later the bus appeared and as it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67650 on a #21A to the Trentham Hotel.

We got on the bus and we booked to the Trentham Hotel before we sat down to wards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A34 and we went under the A500 into Hanford. We turned left onto Church Lane and we ran up to the top of the hill. We turned right into Wilson Road and at the end we turned left onto New Inn Lane. We ran down the hill past the Man in Space and forwards onto the A5035. We headed left and we stopped out side the Trentham Hotel where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew got another picture of First Potteries 67650 before it returned to Hanley on the last #21A of the evening.

Once we let the bus go we headed along the A5035 towards Blurton. We crossed over the railway line into Blurton and we continued past the Hem Heath pub. We crossed over the A5035 to have a better look at the Party Bus we had seen earlier and we saw that it was Party Bus L102 GBO.

We crossed over the road and we continued walking past the Newstead Industrial estate. We turned into the estate and we got home around 19:30. Back at Blurton we wrote e-mails and worked on the Blog. Matthew had a glass of Irn Bru as well as a bag of Frazzles. We then chilled out watching music videos on the television and Matthew went to bed around 00:30... Mark

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. H e was also going out to the zoo and around the Staffordshire Moorlands. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw First Potteries 67152 on the #23 to Newstead. At the lights we continued onto the A5009 and we ran through Abbey Hulton and Milton to Stockon Brook. We joined the Northbound A53 and we ran through Endon and and Longsdon. We continued through Ladderedge and up the hill into Leek town Centre where we saw Robin Hood SO15 TWU. In the centre of Leek we turned left onto Stockwell Street. We realised we were going in the wrong direction, so we turned left into St Edward Street. We turned left onto the A53 and at the end we turned right onto the A523. As we passed the end if the bus station we saw Aimee’s YK07 BFX on a #165 to Leek. We continued out of the town through Bradnop and Bottomhouse. We turned right onto Ellastone Road and we stopped at Peak Wildlife Park.


Birds
The wildlife park was closed, so we decided to go soemwhere else. We returned onto A523 and we ran through Bottomhouse and Lowe Hill. We continued into Leek and in the centre we ran forwards onto Stockwell Street. We veered left onto Church Street and we turned left onto Salisburys Street. We turned left onto High Street and left onto St Edward Street. We turned right onto Sheep Market and onto Stanley Street where we stopped for dinner. Matthew had a glass of Coke whilst we waited. The food arrived and Matthew had a Burger on an Artisan Brioche bun, with Chipotle Mayo and skin on Fries. For dessert Matthew had Cheesecake and ice cream. We walked Stanley Street onto Market Street and Derby Street. We returned along Stanley Street and Derby Street and back onto High Street. We returned to Bagnall in Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We got on the bus and we sat down. We ran up the track to the Sneyd Street and we turned right onto the A53 and we headed South. We ran through Leek town centre and out the other side along the A53. We travelled South up the hill through Ladderedge and down into Longsdon and Endon. We continued as far as Stockton Brook where we turned left onto Stanley Road. We turned right onto Clewlows Bank and left onto Springs Bank. We turned left omnto Old Mill Lane and we stopped at a farm. We got off the bus and we had a look around. We went to the stables and we saw the horses.

We continued onto Thornyedge Road and we stopped at Jacksons Nurseries. We visited the Tea Room & Farm Shop. Matthew had a glass of Coke and then used the toilet. When we had finished we continued our journey on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We turned left onto Thornyedge Road and we continued onto Armshead Road. We joined the Eastbound A52 and we ran into Cellarhead. At the crossroads we turned right onto A520 and we ran into WEston Coyney. SAt the traffic light we turned right onto the A5272. By the gas tower we turned left onto Anchor Road. We ran down towards Longton and we turned right into Heathcote Street. We turned left Longley Road and we crossed over Ashwood onto Clarence Road. We turned right onto King Street. We ran through Fenton, running forwards onto City Road. We turned left onto Glebedale Road and we ran along Baker Street onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and right onto Masterson Street. We turned right onto Watkin Street and onto Temple Street to go back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and use his computer. We saw Lucky Seven PO11 CCG going towards Hanley.
