Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to Accrington. We discussed the possibility of going to Accrington and Matthew said yes. Research consisted of checking the weather Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Temple Street Church RX18 GZW.

Later on we went to Bury in the car. We went downstairs to the car and we set off onto Temple Street where we saw Temple Street Church RX18 GZW. We turned left onto Christchurch Street and we turned right onto City Road. We turned sharp left at the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout onto Lichfield Street and we ran up the hill towards Hanley. We ran anti-clockwise around the ring road and we went Northwards out of town along Town Road. We joined the Northbound A5272 and we ran through Sneyd Green and Smallthorne. We crossed over the roundabout and we continued up to Chell. We turned right onto the A527 and we ran north through Brindley Ford and Brown Lees up towards Biddulph. We went West of Biddulph on the by-pass and we continued North towards Congleton and through the town onto the Northbound A536. We ran Northwards up to Macclesfield and we went through the town onto the A523. We continued Northwards to Hazel Grove and we joined the Northbound A6. We continued Northwards into Stockport and under the M60 and we ran around a few junctions to the M66 past Bury and forwards onto the A56. We followed the road along the Haslingden by-pass and the when we got to the A680 we went North West into Accrington. We parked outside The Abbey Friar and we went in for dinner. Matthew went up to the toilet and afterwards he had sausage chips and gravy with bread and butter washed down with a can of Coke. On the way out we paid for the stuff and Matthew picked another couple of small bottles of pop. Matthew decided to get back in the car and have a lift to the bus station. We didn't know exactly where it was but we had seen pictures taken nearby under the arches of the railway line. We headed back onto the A680 we parked in a car park on King Street which was right next to the bus station. We sid goodbye to mum and we walked over to the bus station. On layover near to the exit of the bus station was Transdev Rosso 290. We walked into the bus station and Matthew had to try out the toilet. A few minutes later we saw Transdev Blackburn 230 on a #6A to Blackburn. We got on the bus and we brought the Ribble Valley day tickets at £5.80 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station under the railway line and onto King Street. We ran forwards onto Blackburn Road as we had done many times before on various vehicles from Mercedes minibus to double deckers. We continued out of town for a little over 1/2 a mile and we ran forwards onto the A679. We turned left onto the B6231 and we went under the railway line again near to Church & Oswaldtwistle railway station. We ran through Oswaldtwistle and we continued out of the other side of the town into open countryside. We crossed over the M65 and we ran into Knuzden. We turned right onto Windsor Road and we ran down the hill towards the main road, At the end of the road we turned left onto the A679 and we ran Westwards to the edge of Blackburn. We ran forwards onto the A678 and we After around 1/4 of a mile we veered right onto Higher Eanam. At the roundabout we turned left onto Eanam and we ran forwards onto Salford befoer turning right into the bus station we got up and got off the bus we decided to go for a walk around. We went outside the bus station and we saw Transdev Blackburn 510 on a #1 to Bolton. We walked back to the bus station and Matthew used the toilet. We saw required Stagecoach Lancashire 15574 on a #59 to Preston. We got on the bus and we flashed the Blackburn area day ticket to the driver before we went upstairs sat down. We set off out of the bus station and onto Richmond Terrace. We went forwards onto King William Street. We travelled onto the A677. We headed through Beardwood and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed over the A677 and we visited the garage. Matthew used the toilet and afterwards we did some shopping. He brought a couple of Bottles of pop and a couple of chocolate bars. We headed back along the A677. A few minutes later we saw another bus approaching. It was required Stagecoach Lancashire 15466 on a #59 to Blackburn. We got on the bus and we flashed the Blackburn area day ticket to the driver. We went upstairs and we sat down. The bus set off down the A677 and we ran through Blackburn. We turned left onto the A666 and we turned right onto Eanam and we ran forwards onto Salford befoer turning right into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We saw Transdev Rosso 1727 on layover. A few minutes later we saw Transdev Blackburn 2772 on a #152 to Preston. We got on the bus and we flashed the Ribble Valley day tickets to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down and the bus set off out of the bus station and onto Railway Road. We went past the shopping centre onto Ricmond Terrace and we ran forwards onto Exchange Street. We passed the town hall and we turned left onto Northgate. We turned right onto Duke Street and Left onto Blakey Moor. We turned right onto Fellden Street and we turned left onto Montague Street. We turned right onto the A674 and we headed out of town through Mill Hill. We passed Cherry Tree railway station and we continued out of town. We passed Transdev Lancashire United 2769 on a #152 to Burnley. We carried on a bit bit further into Feniscowles an we got up and got off the bus. Once off we crossed over the road. We walked to the stop for the Blackburn bound bus and we waited for the next bus to appear. Whilst we waited Matthew ate the lolly and drank the small bottle of Cola. A few minutes later the bus appered and it was dud Transdev Lancashire United 2767. We got on the bus and we flashed Ribble Valley day tickets before we went upstairs and sat down. The bus set off along the A674 out of Feniscowles and past Cherry Tree railway station. We continued into the West end of Blackburn and we turned left onto Montague Street. We turned right into Fellden Street past the college. We turned right onto Cardwell Place. We ran forwards onto Darwen Street and we turned left onto Jubilee Street. We ran past Blackburn railway station along the Boulevard and we followed the road to the left onto Railway Road. We ran onto Penny Street and we entered the bus station. We got off the bus and we walked along Ainsworth Street and we continued up the Richmond Terrace. We walked up Exchange Street past the former RBS bank which is new cafe. We turned left onto King William Street. We stopped at Greggs and brought a caramel shortbread and a bottle of Coke. Once we had finished we stopped to look at the former Thomas Cook which is now closed. We walked onto King William Street and we turned right and into Exchange Street. On the way to the bus stop we saw Transdev Blackburn 301 on a #2 to Chorley. After a while we saw a bus turn the corner. As it got closer we saw it was Rotala Preston Bus 20788 on a #45 to Preston. We got on the bus and we flashed Ribble Valley day ticket to the driver for the final time today the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down Exchange Street. We passed the town hall and we turned right onto the A666. We turned left onto the B6232 and we travelled through Royshaw Hill. We continued to Pleckgate and we turned right onto the A6119. We ran forwards onto the A666 and we ran up to Brownhill. We went through Wilpshire and we turned left onto the B6245. We ran over the canal and into Salesbury and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we crossed the road and we visited The Bonny Inn. Matthew used the toilet and we had a glass of Coke. Mum appeared and we got in the car. Matthew had a sausage roll and a can or orange Fanta. We set off along the B6245 and we ran into Clayton-le-Dale. We turned left into the A59 we travelled up through Osbaldeston and onto Mellor Brook. We ran into Myerscough Smithy onto Turner Green. We carried on towards Samlesbury. At the we turned left and joined the Southbound M6. We went Southwards down the A556. We ran West for one junction and we went Southwards down the A50. We travelled South through Knutsford. We continued to Holmes Chapel and down into Kidsgrove. We carried on South towards Tunstall and we turned left onto the A527. In Fegg Hayes we turned right onto Oxford Street and we ran through Chell Heath past Matthew's old school which has been fenced off. In Smallthorne we turned right onto Ford Green Road and at the roundabouts we turned left onto the A5272. We followed the road through Sneyd Green and Northwood and down to Bucknall. We turned right onto the A52 and at Joiners Square roundabout we turned left onto Victoria Road. At the top of the hill we turned right onto City Road and we ran down the hill to Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window. For tea Matthew had pizza and chips followed by a Bakewell tart. Matthew went back to his room. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. When it was time to go to uncle Dave's we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and at the end we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We went across the spare ground onto Willowdale Avenue and onto Whieldon Road and into uncle Dave's. Later on he had a few digestive biscuits and and some Irn Bru. Uncle Dave now has a biscuit tin. Matthew chilled out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Willowdale Avenue. We crossed the spare ground and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street past the new building under construction, which is now getting near to completion. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

we went downstairs and we set off on foot onto City Road. we crossed over onto Manor Street and we stopped at the green space on the corner of William Street. we stopped at the playground. We got in the car set off onto Manor Street. We turned left onto Victoria Road and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street past the site of the new housoing development. We turned left onto the ring road and we turned left onto Etruria Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto the Westbound along the Westbound A53. In Etruria we turned right onto the Northbound A500. We travelled North to the M6 and we hit a little bit of traffic. As we got on the M6 As we travelled North. We decided to come of the M6 at junction 28 to see if we could find somewhere to eat in Leyland. We headed West along the B5256. We came to a set of two mini roundabout and we ran forwards onto the B5254. We turned into the car park by the Lancashire FA and we decided to turn around and get to the cafe. We headed along the B5254. We headed along Hough Lane. We continued along the road to the cafe. Matthew had a can of Coke. Afterwards he had a sausage chips and gravy. Matthew went to the toilet. After we had finished we walked we set off onto Hough Lane and we turned left onto Towngate by the Asda is a new side entrance Costa Coffee that is currently being built. We walked up to Hough Lane. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach Lancashire 27155 on a #109 to Preston. We got on the bus and we booked Stagecoach Preston Dayrider tickets at £4.70 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along Hough Lane. We turned right onto the B5254 and we turned left onto the B526. We continued through Clayton-le-Woods and we turned left onto the A49. We ran through Cuerden. We turned left onto the A5083 and we ran through Farington. We crossed the B5254 and we ran through Lostock Hall. We turned right onto Brownedge Road and we turned left onto Todd Lane North. We continued into Walton Park. We turned left onto Millwood Road and left onto Carrwood Road. We ran forwards onto the A6. We ran through Walton-le-Dale and we saw Stagecoach Lancashire 15244 on a #125 to Bolton. We headed towards Frenchwood. and we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked up the A6 and we turned left onto Queen Street where we saw Transdev Blackburn 2766 on a #152 to Burnley. We continued down Preston and we turned right onto Grimshaw Street. We walked through Church Street ans we turned right onto Derby Street. We turned left onto Lords Walk and once in the bus station. We headed to the toilet and Matthew used the facilities. We continued walking around the bus station and we saw Rotala Preston Bus 40411 on layover. We visited the newsagent shop around the corner. Matthew had a can of Coke and a small bottle of Irn Bru as well as a couple of bars of chocolate. We spotted required Stagecoach Lancashire 15681 on a #40 to Lancaster. We got on the bus and we flashed the Lakes Day Ranger ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off down bus station onto Tithebarn Street. We turned right onto Old Vicarage and right again onto Lancaster Road. We crossed the A59 and we went North up the A6. We passed the Withy Trees. We travelled through Fulwood and over Broughton. We went through Barton and at North Planks. As we travelled down to Bilsborrow. We crossed over Brock and we continued through Catterall. We turned right onto the B6430. We ran up the hill and into Bowgreave. We ran down the hill into Bonds and to Garstang. We travelled through Cabus. We turned right and we ran down the A6. We travelled through Forton and over Bay Horse up to Hampson Green. We ran down Galgate. We turned left to run through Lancaster University. We joined the A6 and we headed down the Bailrigg. Whilst we were in the pub uncle Dave had been keeping an eye out on the buses and next #40. We got to the stop and almost immediately we saw a bus approaching. We got on the bus and we flashed the Lakes Day Ranger ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off down B6430. We ran up the hill and into Bowgreave. We ran down the hill into Bonds and to Garstang. We travelled through Cabus. We turned right and we ran down the A6. A short time later we saw Stagecoach Lancashire 36416 on a #508 to Windermere. We got on the bus and we flashed the Lakes Day Ranger ticket and sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station and onto the A6. We turned right onto the A5284 and we got up and got off the bus. We crossed over the road which was really busy and it took quite a while. As it got closer we saw it was Stagecoach Lancashire 36417 on a #508 to Kendal. We got on the bus and we flashed the Lakes Day Ranger ticket to the driver for the final time today before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off up A5284. We turned left onto the A6 and into the bus station and we got up and got off Once off the bus we had a walk around to see what we might catch. We saw Stagecoach Lancashire 15923 on a X5 to Workington. We walked up the stairs and we headed along the path to the car in the car park. Mum had brought sausage rolls and can of Irn Bru. We set off out of the car park onto A6 and we turned left onto Stramongate. We turned right onto the A65 and we turned left onto the A6 and we continued onto the Southbound A591. We ran through Sizergh and into Milnthorpe. We joined the Southbound M6. We barrelled Southwards through Lancashire. We continued into Cheshire and we left the M6. and we ran down to junction 16. We went Southwards down the A500 and we ran through Shelton and Stoke. We came off the A500 and we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road, We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his roon to watch TV and chill out. Matthew went up to his room to use his computer and watch buses. For tea had a chicken burger from KFC. He also had some fries and a cup of Coke. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw Lucky Seven AY13 OSU.

In the morning Matthew walked down to Stoke. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto City Road. We continued down the hill and under the railway line before we crossed over the A500 and went into Stoke town centre. On Church Street we saw First Potteries 32639 on the #25 to Keele. Matthew went to the one stop shop to pick up his new bus pass. Once we had finished we went to Preston on Copeland's Tours MIB 615. We got on the coach and we sat down. We set off onto Church street and we turned right onto Shelton Old Road. We turned left onto the A500 and we ran Northwards to Bartomley. We joined the Northbound M6 and we ran for around 50 miles up to junction 31. We joined the Westbound A59 and we ran into town. We turned left onto Percy Street and we ran into the town centre. We got off the bus and we visited the bus station cafe. Highlights of the bus sightings included Rotala Preston Bus 40627. Matthew had a bacon sandwich and a can of Coke. When we had finished we returned to Fenton on Copeland's Tours MIB 615. We got on the coach and we sat down. We set off along Church Street and we turned right onto the A59. We ran out of town and we joined the Southbound M6 at junction 31. We ran approximately 50 mile through Lancashire and Cheshire. We continued down the M6 as far as the A556 and then we went down to the A50. We traveled South through Knutsford. we saw Paul's of Stoke KE53 NVD at the leisure centre. We continued to Holmes Chapel and down into Kidsgrove. We carried on South towards Tunstall and we turned left onto the A527. In Fegg Hayes we turned right onto Oxford Street and we ran through Chell Heath past Matthew's old school. We turned left and left again onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on his computer before going to see uncle Dave. we saw St Peter's Academy BX18 CFP going towards Longton.

When it was time to go to uncle Dave's we went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street and at the end we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We went across the spare ground onto Willowdale Avenue and onto Whieldon Road and into uncle Dave's. Matthew had some cheesecake and a can of Fanta orange. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots. Later on he had another slice of cheesecake and a few digestive biscuits and custard creams. Uncle Dave now has a biscuit tin. Matthew chilled out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road. We turned onto Willowdale Avenue. We crossed the spare ground and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street we saw preserved PMT 917 on the POPS evening runaround to Market Drayton. past the new building under construction, which is now getting near to completion. We continued back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. Today we decided to re-visit Preston. Our last visit to Preston was for the Rolala Preston Bus Olympian farewell in December 2016. We checked the weather and the roads and the weather for today seemed to be letter further North. We showed Matthew the map and on the map he chose to visit Preston. Other research consisted of checking the availability of Stagecoach and Preston Bus day tickets. Matthew got up around 09:30 and had crumpets and orange juice for breakfast. just before 12:00 we set off onto the A5035 and we turned right onto Stanley Matthews Way. We joined the Westbound A50 and we ran down to the roundabout at Sideway. We turned right onto the Northbound A500 towards the motorway. As we ran up the A500 we saw white coach YT68 GWP, Vicky's Coaches VKZ 989 & Copeland's Tours MIB 229. We ran up to junction 16 and we got onto the Northbound M6. Seen on the M6 were Kier YS15 CRJ / WR17 JFU / VN15 FXJ, Mostonian ESK 812, an unidentified National Express liveried coach(#540), Titterington's BJ10 VTV, Hollinshead J10 BUS / DH13 HOL, Holmeswood K5 HWD, Vision Travel BK63 ZSW, an unidentified LMT blue white minibus, an unidentified Caledonian Travel coach, an unidentified Coastal Coaches midicoach, an unidentified red/white MP Travel Dart & white minibus LK56 ALO. We decided to come of the M6 at junction 28 to see if we could find somewhere to eat in Leyland. We headed West along the B5256. We came to a set of two mini roundabout and we ran forwards onto the B5254. We turned into the car park by the Lancashire FA and we decided to turn around and get closer to the cafe we had found. We turned left onto the B5254 and we turned right onto Towngate. We turned right into Hough Lane and the road on which the cafe was situated on had a street market. We turned left onto Quin Street and we followed the road around. We turned right onto Newsome Street and at the end we turned right back onto Hough Lane. As we couldn't find anywhere suitable to park we turned left onto Thurston Road. At the end we turned left onto the B5254 and we ran out of town. We crossed over the roundabouts and we ran forwards onto the B5256. We ran up to the M6 and we got onto the Northbound side. We ran up to junction 31 and we got onto the Westbound A59. We ran into town and we decided to try and find at at cafe mum had found in Fishwick. We came into Fishwick and we spotted the cafe. There just happen to be a parking space free when we arrived. We got out of the car and and we went into the cafe. Matthew went to the toilet and mum ordered the food. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a glass of Coke. When we had finished we went outside to catch a bus. We said goodbye to mum and we walked about 50yds to the nearest bus stop. We had already decided to catch stagecoach buses today, so when we saw Rotala Preston Bus 40584 on a #16 to Farrington Park Matthew took a picture.

A few minutes later we saw a Stagecoach bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was required Stagecoach Lancashire 47219 on a #9 to Preston.

We got on the bus and we booked Stagecoach Preston Dayrider tickets at £4.70 each before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off along the A59 and we and we ran the mile or so into the town centre. We veered slight right along the A59 and we turned left into Percy Street. We ran forwards Onto Lords Walk and we entered the bus station. We pulled onto the stand and we got up to get off the bus. Matthew took a picture inside Stagecoach Lancashire 47219 before we got off it.

Once off the bus we headed to the toilets which have been renovated since our last visit. One Matthew had used the facilities week walk down to the far end of the bus station to see what was working. We saw Stagecoach Lancashire 15840 on layover in between services.

We decided to do Stagecoach Lancashire 15840 which was going out on the #68 to Blackpool. As we queued to get on the bus, we saw Rotala Preston Bus 20013 on a #77 to Blackpool depart from the adjacent stand.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Stagecoach Preston Dayrider ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. We decided to do the bus to Lea as we know knew where this place was. The bus set off out of the bus station onto Tithebarn Road. We turned right onto Old Vicarage and right onto Lancaster Road. We turned left onto the A59 and at the next junction we turned right onto Friargate. We continued onto the A583 and we headed out of town an under the West coast main line. We turned left following the A583 and right onto the A5072. We the A5072 and we passed Stagecoach Lancashire 15582 on a #68 to Preston turning out of Egerton Road. We ran to the end of the road and we turned left onto the A5085. We continued for another mile or so and we got up and got off the bus outside Lea police station. Once off the bus Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach Lancashire 15840 as it continued towards Blackpool.

Once off the bus we decided to walk along the road for a short distance to find a shop. We spotted a petrol station across the way so we went over there. Matthew spotted the customer toilet so he used that. We brought a couple of cans of pop and a couple of chocolate bars. Once we had paid for the goods we went outside and used the cash machine. We continued down the road to the next stop and we waited for a Preston bound bus. We checked the timetable and there was a bus due in a few minutes. We saw a bus approaching and as it got closer we saw that it was dud Stagecoach Lancashire 15908 on a #61 to Preston.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Stagecoach Preston Dayrider ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and sat down. This was a bus we first had back in August 2013 from Lea to Preston. We set off along the A5085 and we travelled Eastwards towards town. We crossed over the railway line to Blackpool and we turned right into Tulketh Brow. We joined the Southbound B6241 and we ran forwards onto the A583. We ran under the West coast main line and into Preston town centre. We passed 'Ships & giggles' and we went around the roundabout onto Friargate. We turned left onto the A59 and we ran up to the Holiday Inn before turning right onto Tithebarn Street. We turned left onto Carlisle Street and we ran onto Derby Street. We turned right onto Lords Walk. We entered the bus station and we ran onto stand. We got up and Matthew took a picture inside Stagecoach Lancashire 15908 before we got off the bus.

Matthew indicated that he wanted to do a #40 or #41 North towards Lancaster. Stagecoach Lancashire 15819 had just arrived and was no due to depart for another 20 minutes or so. We went and stood by the exit and Matthew took a few bus pictures whilst we waited. We saw Rotala Preston Bus 40628 on a #19 to Farrington Park.

The bus hadn't started to load so we headed back to the exit to take a few more bus pictures. We saw Rotala Preston Bus 40593 on a #35 to Tanterton.

We went back into the bus station and the bus had started to load. We got on the bus and we flashed the Stagecoach Preston Dayrider ticket to the driver before we went upstairs and Matthew took a picture inside Stagecoach Lancashire 15819 before we sat down.

We set off out of the bus station onto Tithebarn Street. We turned right onto Old Vicarage and right again onto Lancaster Road. We crossed the A59 and we went North up the A6. We passed the Withy Trees, which was the furthest North point we had travelled to on our last run on these services in October 2016. We continued further North for around another 1km and we got up and got off the bus just short of the M55. Once off the bus Matthew took an other picture of Stagecoach Lancashire 15819 as it continued North towards Lancaster.

Once off the bus we crossed over the road and we walked to the nearest Southbound bus stop. Whilst we waited for the bus Matthew had a flake out of the supplies in the trip bag. A few minutes later we saw the bus approaching from under the motorway. As it got closer we saw that it was required Stagecoach Lancashire 15697 on a #41 to Preston.

We got on the bus and we flashed the Preston Plus dayrider ticket to the driver before we went upstairs. We set off down the A6 and we travelled around 1km to withy trees. We ran a further 3/4 of a mile down the A6 to the north edge of town we ran across the A59 and around the one way system before entering the bus station from the South. Once we got off the bus we had a quick look around to see what we could do next. We spotted required Stagecoach Lancashire 27114 about to work a #3 to Penwortham.

We ran forwards onto Lord Street and we turned left onto Lancaster Road. We turned right onto Fishergate and we ran up to the railway station. We continued onto Fishergate Hill and forwards again onto Liverpool Road. We went onto the A59 and we turned left onto Cop Lane. We ran to the end and we turned right onto Pope Lane. We turned left onto Kingsfold Drive and we ran to the end. We turned left onto Studholme Crescent and left onto New Lane. We turned left onto Pope Lane and when we got to the shop we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another picture of Stagecoach Lancashire 27114 before it returned to Preston.

Once off the bus we went to the Co-operative food store. Matthew brought a can of Coke and a couple of chocolate bars. When we had finished we went out and Matthew decided he needed the toilet. There was a pub next door so we visited the pub. Matthew used the toilet and then we brought a glass of Coke. After Matthew had finished his drink we went outside to wait for the next bus back to Preston. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was required Stagecoach Lancashire 27115 on a #3 to Preston.

We set off along Pope Lane and we turned right onto Cop Lane. We crossed over the A582 and we ran to the end of the Lane. We turned right onto the A59 and we ran forwards onto Liverpool Road and we crossed over the river Ribble. We ran forwards onto Fishergate Hill and we went past the railway station. We ran forwards onto Fishergate and we veered left onto Corporation Street. We joined the Eastbound A59 and we turned left onto Tithebarn Street. We turned left onto Carlisle Street and we entered the bus station. We let the bus empty and Matthew took a picture inside Stagecoach Lancashire 27115 before we got off the bus.

We called mum and and we found out she was still at Morrisons and about to set off. We decided to walk around the bus station and take a few more pictures whilst we waited. We set off onto Lord Walk and we walked down the side of the office block where we were able to get a picture of Caledonian Travel LSK 509 which was on layover.

We walked back onto Lords Walk and we turned left onto Derby Street. We turned left onto Carlisle Street and we saw Moving People B13 KJT parked up.

Mum called to say she was parked up at B&M so we walked onto Carlisle Street and into the car park to meet up with mum. We got in the car and had a sausage roll and a can of dandelion & burdock. We set off onto Carlisle Street. We ran onto the A59 and we went onto the Northbound A6. As we were heading in the wrong direction we turned right into Melilng Street. We turned left Lancaster Road. We turned left into Lund Street and left into Margaret Street. We turned right onto Gardner Street and right onto the A6. We veered left onto the ring road and we ran forwards onto the A6. We crossed over the Ribble and we ran South before joining the Eastbound M65. At the first roundabout we turned right and joined the Southbound M6. As we ran down the M6 we saw Titteringtons BJ10 VTV, taxi minibus DK09 EJA, white minibus DL14 FPT & Happy Days Coaches L1 HDC. We came off the M6 at Junction 16 and we joined the Southbound. Seen on the A500 was an unidentified Rothwells coach. We came off the A500 at Sideway and we joined the Eastbound A50 and we ran up to Longton to see what was parked up at Z Carz. We turned left into Willow Row and we saw Z Carz Renault minibus PE10 MJK in the compound.

We ran Westwards along the A50 and we cam of at Heron Cross. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton. We continued up to Church Road and we turned right into Beaconsfield Avenue and back home at 19:30. For a late tea bangers and mash with carrots followed by Bakewell tart. We did an e-mail and we wrote some of the Blog. Matthew went to bed around 00:00.... Mark.

Today we decided to re-visit Blackburn. We had checked the weather for today and it was for warm dry and cloudy weather. We gave Matthew a list of destinations in the Midlands and North West and from list Matthew chose Blackburn. Reserch consisted of checking the Transedev webpage to check for tickets that we could use. It reminded us that Transdev had taken over Rosso since our last visited and the Transdev Lancashire ticket was valid on Rosso service too. Matthew got up around 10:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. After getting ready we set off around 11:45 on the A5035. We had a parcel to pick up from a shop in Trentham, so we continued over the railway line into Trenthan before turning right into Brough Lane. We continued onto The Lea and we stopped at the shop. Mum picked up the parcel and we set off to Blackburn via the petrol station. We turned left onto New Inn Lane and we joined the Northbound A5035. We ran over the railway line into Blurton and we turned left onto Stanley Matthews Way. We ran Northwards up to the A50 and we went Wetwards towards Sideway. We joined the Nothbound A500 and we ran through Stoke and Etruria. We came off the A500 at Wolstanton and we stopped at the petrol station by Asda. After taking on petrol we re-joined the Northbound A500 and we ran up to the M6. We joined the Northbound M6 and then traffic was moving quite well. Traveling up the M6 we saw CVS Van hire BF14 YHT, an unidentified National Express liveried coach (#528), Stanton's of Stoke TPY 245, white minibus YS15 CRJ / EN67 MYJ / WR17 JFU, ABC Coache Hire OU17 OTG, an unidentified AAA Coaches coach, blue minibus E1 ESX, silver minibus MJ18 RKZ, an unidentified M&I Travel minibus & taxi minibus YN06 UFM. We ran up to junction 29 and we joined the Eastbound M65. As we travelled along the M65 we saw 2 x unidentified B&N Coaches. We came off the M65 at junction 6 onto the Westbound A678. WE ran into town through Intack. We veered right onto the A6078 and we turned left onto Eanam. We turned left into Morrisons and we parked up in the car park. We got in the left and we went down to the shop. Matthew went to the toilet and we headed to Morrisons cafe. Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a cup of Coke, followed by a slice of lemon meringue pie. Once we had finished eating we said goodbye to mum and we set off along Railway Road towards the bus station. We saw Transdev Lancashire United 574 on a #22 to Clitheroe.

A few minutes later we saw a Rosso liveried bus approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was required Transdev Rosso 2784 on a #481 to Bury via Rawtenstall.

We got on the bus and we booked a Transdev lancashire Day ticket at £6.70 each. We went upstairs and the rear of the top deck was empty so Matthew took a picture inside Transdev Rosso 2784.

The bus set off out of the bus station and onto Penny Street. we turned right onto Railway Road and we ran past the railway station. We continued onto the Boulevarda and forwards onto Jubilee Street. We turned left onto Darwen Street and we ran forwards onto the A6077. We veered left onto Hasligden Road and we went past the back of the hospital before entering the grounds and stops at the hospital bus terminus. We rejoin-ed the A6077 and we crossed over the M65 at junction 5 onto the B6232. We turned right onto Belthorn Road and we ran through the village of Belthorn before re-joining the B6232. We then climbed out into the open moorland and we had great views across Lancashire. We then ran down into Haslingden past Ogden Reservoir and Holden Wood reservoir. We ran into the centre of Haslingden and we turned right onto the A680. We turned right onto Beaconsfied street and left onto Helmshore Road. We passed a climbing centre. We crossed over the A56 and we turned left onto Broadway. We joined the A680 and crossed over the A56. We turned right onto Haslingden Road and we ran down into Rawtenstall town centre. We ran past the railwat station and we continued Eastwards along Bocholt Way. We ran for quite a distance before turning sharp left onto Bacup Road. We ran back EWestwards for almost as far as we had travelled the other way and we stopped at the bus station. We got off the bus and Matthew took another picture of Transdev Rosso 2784 before it continued to Bury.

We had a quick walk around the bus station to take a few more pictures. We saw Transdev Rosso 1606 on a #464 to Accrington.

We set off on foot up towards the town cente because Matthew wanted the toilet. We walked up James Street and across a car park. On the car park were Connect Taxis MW07 NKC & GL60 BGV. We crossed over Bank Street. We saw dud Transdev Burnley & Pendle 2780 on a a X43 to Skipton. Matthew went to Betfred to use the toilet. When we came out we saw Transdev Rosso 142 on a #10 Edgeside. We walked back across the car park and back to the bus station to wait for a bus. After a few minutes we saw a double decker approaching. As it got closer we saw that it was Transdev Rosso 2783 on a #464 to Accrington.

The bus set off along Bacup Road and at the roundabout we ran fowards onto Haslingden Road. We travelled for around 2/3rds of a mile and at the A680 we turned right. We ran through Haslingden town centre up the high street and we continued Northwards to the A56. We ran through Stone Fold and past the Hollands Pie factory and into Baxenden. As we approached the centre of Accrington we turned left into Abbey Street. We continued forwards onto Whalley Road and we turned left onto Eastgate and we went over the roundabout onto King Street. We turned left into Crawshaw Street and into the bus station. We got up and got off the bus and we went around the side to get another picture of Transdev Rosso 2783.

We walked back into the bus station and Matthew used the toilet. We were considering catching something back towards Haslingden. whilst we waited we saw Transdev Burnley and pendle 245 on a M3 to Trawden and 270 on a #9 to Burnley. We then saw Transdev Lancashire United 236 arrive on a #6A to Blackburn.

The following 464 was required Transdev Rosso 1720 'Rochdale Pioneers' but Matthew decided he didn't want to do that. We saw a double decker arrive and go onto layover. It was Transdev Lancashire United 2754.

Matthew decided he wanted to do one of the newer Versas on the Hyndburn circular service so we could charge the phone up. Transdev Lancashire United 236 was loading up that he had photographed earlier, so we got on the bus and we flashed the Transdev Lancashire Day ticket to the driver before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off out of the bus station under the railway line and onto King Street. We ran forwards onto B;ackburn Road as we had done many times before on various vehicles from Mercedes minibus to double deckers. We continued out of town for a little over 1/2 a mile and we ran forwards onto the A679. We turned left onto the B6231 and we went under the railway line again near to Church & Oswaldtwistle railway station. We ran through Oswaldtwistle and we continued out of the other side of the town into open countryside. We crossed over the M65 and we ran into Knuzden. We turned right onto Windsor Road and we ran down the hill towards the main road, At the end of the road we turned left onto the A679 and we ran Westwards to the edge of Blackburn. We ran forwards onto the A678 and we After around 1/4 of a mile we veered right onto Higher Eanam. At the roundabout we turned left onto Eanam and we ran forwards onto Salford befoer turning right into the bus station. We let the bus empty and Matthew took a picture inside Transdev Lancashire United 236.

Once off the bus we sat in the bus station for a short while whilst we consider what bus to do next. We saw required Transdev Lancashire United 574 on a #22 but Matthew didn't fancy doing it. We also aired Stagecoach Lancashire 15910 ona a #59 to Preston, and Blackburn Private Hire YJ61 JJF on a #3 to Sunnybower. Eventually dud Transdev Lancashire United 2759 appeared on a #152 to Preston and Matthew decided he wanted to do that.

We passed the town hall and we turned left onto Northgate. We turned right onto Duke Street and Left onto Blakey Moor. We turned right onto Fellden Street and we turned left onto Montague Street. We turned right onto the A674 and we headed out of town through Mill Hill. We passed Cherry Tree railway station and we continued out of town. We passed Transdev Lancashire United 2762 on a #152 to Burnley and Dreamline YJ08 EAM. We carried on a bit bit further into Feniscowles an we got up and got off the bus. Once off we crossed over the road and we went to the Spar shop in a petrol station. Matthew had a can of Coke and a smal bottle of Cola as well as chocolate bar and a drumstick lolly. We walked to the stop for the Blackburn bound bus and we waited for the next bus to appear. Whilst we waited Matthew ate the lolly and drank the small bottle of Cola. A few minutes later the bus appered and it was dud Transdev Lancashire United 2758.

The bus set off along the A674 out of Feniscowles and past Cherry Tree railway station. We continued into the West end of Blackburn and we turned left onto Montague Street. We turned right into Fellden Street past the college. We turned right onto Cardwell Place. We ran forwards onto Darwen Street and we turned left onto Jubilee Street. We ran past Blackburn railway station along the Boulevard and we followed the road to the left onto Railway Road. We ran onto Penny Street and we entered the bus station. We got off the bus and we walked around to the North side of the bus station and Matthew got another picture of Transdev Lancashire United 2758 before it continued on towards Burnley.

Also we saw Rotala Preston Bus 20793 on a #35 to Longridge. We set off towards the car and Matthew stopped at Costa to use the toilet. The shop was shuting so we weren'e able to stop for something to eat. We decided to go back to the car and drive to a nearby chip shop. We set off from the car park near to Gala Bingo onto Richmond Terrace. We ran forwards onto Exchange Street and forwards again onto Long William Street. We turned left onto Barbara Castle way and we turned right onto Montague Street. We turned left onto Johnston Street and we parked at the side of the road. Mum discovered that had a sit in area so we went inside to eat. matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. Once we had finished eating and we set off towards home. We continued along Johnston Street for around 1/4 mile and we turned left onto saunders Road. We continued onto garden Road and at the end we turned right onto the A674. We ran through Feniscowles to junction 3 of the M65. We got onto the Westbound side and we travelled up to the M6. We joined the South bound M6 we saw PN12 WZZ, an unidentified Keenan coach, Holmeswood VIP HC15 HWC and Alan Davies Travel A2 ADT go back towards Birmingham.

Further down the M6 we saw silver minibus FD53 UNZ, Ava Coaches YK51 ???. We came off the M6 at the junction with the A50 and we visited Lymm services. We parked up and we walked through the services area and out the other side to see if there were any coahces there today. There were 3 coaches, and first in the row was Llew Jones Coaches LJI 5520.

Matthew went to the toilet and then we visited WH Smiths. He had a bottle of Coke and some wriggley worms and eggs. We got back in the car and we continued down the M6. As we travelled Southwards we saw an unidentified Timewell's coach, an unidentified Magicbus coach (M11) and an unidentified Tyrers coach. At junction 16 we came off the M6 onto the Southbound A500. We ran down through Longport and Etruria and into Stoke. We continued to Sideway and we turned left onto the Eastbound A50. We came off the A50 to see what was parked up at Z Carz this evening. The spare ground was empty so we turned left to see what was parked up in the comound on Willow Row. We saw Z Carz Vauxhall minibus DG10 VMJ in the compound.

We set off onto the A50 and we ran up to Heron Cross. We turned left onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton. We turned right onto Church Road and at the end we stopped at the lighs where we saw Intercity RE14 OSN on the A5035. We turned right onto the A5035 and we got home around 20:45. As we had already had chips we didn't have another meal. Matthew had his jammed filled shortbread biscuit and we wrote an e-mail and did some of the Blog. Matthew went to bed around 00:00... Mark
