Trip to Hanley / Biddulph 17-12-2018

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. Later on he was going out on the bus to Biddulph. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX outside.

We went downstairs and we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. At the day centre. In the morning we went on the bus to Hanley. We set off on foot onto City Road and we crossed over. We walked around the corner onto Victoria Road and we waited at the bus stop for a bus to Hanley. A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63098 on a #6 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to the old Sixth Form College before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off down Victoria Road for a round 1/2 mile and then we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we walked up Victoria Road and stoppe at Aldi. In Aldi Matthew picked up his weekly shop. On the way back up Victoria Road we saw First Potteries 63171 on a #6 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down. We set off down Victoria Road and we crossed over the A52 at Joiners Square. We ran up Lichfield Street and we crossed over the ring road. We got up and got off the bus at the stop outside the bus station. We walked down LIchfield Street. Once we got off. We went into the bus station and we saw First Potteries 67632 on a #7A to Biddulph. We got on the bus and we booked to Biddulph before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus waited for time before setting off out of the bus station. We went down John Street and onto Bethesda Street before we went across onto Marsh Street and then we turned right into Trinity Street. We turned left into Stafford Street and we continued forwards to Quadrant Road and we left Hanley along Town Road. We travelled through Sneyd Green and over Smallthorne roundabouts to Chell. At the roundabout we turned right and we ran down the A527 through Brindley Ford. We turned left to run through Brown Lees. We crossed over the A527 at Knypersley and we ran around through the housing estates of Biddulph before running into town via St John's Road, Colliers Way and up Wharf Road to the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we turned right onto the High Street and we stopped at the cafe Matthew had a breakfast washed down with a can of Coke. Once we had finished we walked down the hight Street and we turned left onto Wharf Road. We waited for a bus back to Hanley at the stop. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67659 on a #7A to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before we sat down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off onto the High Street and we turned left at the roundabout onto St John's Road. We ran around the estate and we crossed over the A527 at Knypersley. We ran through Brown Lees and we rejoined the A527 by the industrial estate. We ran down through Brindley Ford and to Fegg Hayes. We ran up the hill to Chell and we turned left onto High Lane. We ran back through Smallthorne & Sneyd Green into Hanley. When we got back to the bus station we waited for a bus back to Fenton. A few minutes later we saw First Potteries 67635 on a #6 to Coalville. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We set off up Lichfield Street and we turned right into Birch Terrace. We followed the road around to the left onto Charles Street. At the top we turned right onto Old Hall Street before turning right onto the ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. One off the bus we set off on foot onto City Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window. We saw D&G Bus 114 on a #1 to Meir.

Later on I came to pick Matthew up to take him out for tea. Mum was working so uncle Dave came along tonight. When we were ready we went downstairs and got in the car. We had a few things to pick up so we set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we headed down the road into Stoke. We ran under the railway line and we crossed the A500. We ran forwards onto Church Street and we ran around Stoke town centre on the one-way system. We turned left onto Lonsdale Street and we turned right onto Flemming Road. We turned right onto Campbell Place and we ran forwards onto Church Street. We ran forwards onto Hartshill Road and we went up the hill through Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill onto the one-way system. At the roundabout we turned right onto the A527. We ran through May Bank. We continued into Wolstanton and at the top of Porthill Bank we ran forwards into Bradwell and we stopped at the pub. We stopped at the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. For tea Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a glass of Coke. For dessert Matthew had chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When it was time to go we returned to the car for the trip back to Fenton. We set off onto Bradwell Lane and we crossed over the roundabout and ran through Wolstanton. We ran along the A527 through May Bank and we saw Harry Shaw 84 COV going the other way. We continued along the A527 and into Newcastle. We turned left onto Ryecroft and right onto Barracks Road. We ran past the bus station and onto the A34. We turned left at the Avenue and we ran up to Hartshill Road. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street. We ran forwards onto Glebe Street and we followed the one way system onto Church Street. We crossed over the A500 onto City Road and we went under the railway line. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went up to Matthew's room and we wrote some of the Blog. Matthew also drank a can of Irn Bru. After doing a couple of entries I left and Matthew chilled out in his room watching television and using his computer. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going to derby later. When it comes to pubs with play areas, the Wacky Warehouse concept is fantastic. It offers a large soft play centre next to the pub next door but you can order food and drink from the pub to be enjoyed inside the Wacky Warehouse. The Wacky Warehouse at the Bonnie Prince is open. Matthew got up and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting for time to got to the day centre Matthew spent time in his room watching buses. We saw First Potteries 67602 on a #11 to Newcastle. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. We continued to the day centre and we saw Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

In the morning Matthew went to Chellaston on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. We turned right onto the A50 link road and then we we ran down to the A50. We joined the Eastbound A50 and we ran through Longton. We continued along the A50 through Blythe Bridge and Uttoxeter. After passing close to the town centre, we continued Eastwards towards Derby. We crossed under the A38 and we cam off the A50 at junction 3. We went Northwards up Infinity park Way and at the next roundabout we turned right onto Royal Approach. Matthew went to the toilet and had a glass of Coke. For dinner Matthew had a burger and fries followed by Chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. Matthew had a session in the soft play area. When we had finished we returned to Fenton in Shelton Care Croup DY08 FFX. We set off onto Royal Approach and we turned left onto Infinity park Way. We ran down to the roundabout and we went Westbound along the A50 and we ran down towards Uttoxeter. We by-passed Uttoxeter and we continued along the A50 to the edge of Blythe Bridge. We continued along the A50 through Meir and Longton and We ran down to Heron Cross and we came off the A50. We ran along Heron Street and forwards onto Station Bridge Road. We ran forwards onto Glebedale Road. once we got back we returned to the residential unit. We walked onto Christchurch Street and down Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out on his computer and watch buses out of the window. We saw Autocabs taxi minibus SA57 GOJ going towards Longton.

A few minutes later we saw silver minibus DS53 TMU running towards Stoke.

For tea Matthew had sausages and chips followed by a butterfly cake. Outside we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX parked up outside.

Matthew went to MacDonalds on foot. We set off onto Christchurch Street and we crossed over City Road onto Manor Street. At the end if Manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we walked down the hill to MacDonalds. Matthew went to the toilet and had Ice Cream Cone with Flake and a cup of Coke. After we had finished we were picked up by Intercity BP08 KJN. We set off onto Victoria Road and over the roundabout and onto Lichfield Street and into Hanley. We went around the ring road Clockwise as far as Etruria Road and then we turned left and went under the A53 into festival park. We went to the end of Festival Way and then turned around. We went back under the A53 and back onto Etruria Road before arriving at the destination. When we got there Matthew went to the toilet. After spending some time in the soft play area they got back on Intercity BP08 KJN for the return journey. We set off onto Etruria Road and and at the roundabout we turned left onto the Westbound A53. We ran upn to Etruria and we turned left onto the A500 and we ran Southwards up to Stoke. We came off the A500 onto City Road and we went under the railway line and up into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew we up to his room to chill out. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. Matthew was also going out to the disco later. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw Autocabs SA57 GOJ.

When it was time to go out we set off onto City Road and we saw Afford Rent-a-Car EU67 VMZ outside there yard.

We carried on down the road and we waited for a First Potteries bus to Newcastle. Whilst we waited we saw D&G Bus 115 on a #1 to Park Site.

A few minutes later the bus appeared and it was First Potteries 63176 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. Once off the bus we set of along Hassell Street and we turned left onto the High Street. We stopped at Newcastle Pet Supplies to buy some food for the pets in the residential unit. We walked up the high street and we turned left into the passageway that leads to Pepper Street. We stopped at a cafe and Matthew had a small bottle of Coke. We returned onto High Street and we turned left onto Ironmarket. We stopped at the pub and Matthew went to the toilet and had dinner. Matthew had a glass of Coke and a cheeseburger and fries followed by chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. After we had finished we returned to the bus station. We set off along Ironmarket and we turned left onto Market Lane. We headed into the bus station to wait for a bus back to Fenton and we saw First Potteries 67656 on a #22 to Longton. Whilst we waited for our bus we saw D&G Bus 111 on a #1 to Meir.

We waited for a bus back to Fenton and a short time later we saw First Potteries 67651 on a #11 to Hanley. We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we sat down towards then back of the bus. We set off onto Barracks Road and we ran up to the Jubilee roundabout. We ran onto the A53 and around the one-way system onto the A52. We ran up George Street into Hartshill and we ran down the hill into Stoke town centre. After a brief stop we continued along Church Street out of Stoke and over the A500. Matthew took a picture of the empty seats at the side of him inside First Potteries 67651.

We ran under the railway line and we continued onto City Road. At the top of the hill we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took a picture of First Potteries 67651 as it continued towards Hanley.

Once we watched the bus disappear into the distance we walked up City Road and cut through to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out in his room. Later on we went to Congleton and we saw it was Stanton's of Stoke KXZ 2173. We got on the bus and we set off onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and then left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and forwards onto the A52 and under the railway line. We turned right onto the Northbound A500 and we ran up through Etruria and Longport to talke. We came of the A500 onto the A34 and we ran Northwards up to Talke Pits. We continued onto the A5011 and forwards onto the A50. We ran past the Stanways Coaches depot and we turned right onto Church Lane. At the end we turned left onto the A34 and we ran to the edge of Congleton. We turned left onto Padgbury Lane and we stopped at the pub. Matthew had a chicken burger and fries with a glass of Coke. He also had chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When we had finished we returned to Fenton on Stanton's of Stoke KXZ 2173. We set off onto Padgbury lane and we joined the Southbound A34. We ran South for a few mile past Kidsgrove and Talke Pits and we followed the road to the left and down to Talke where we joined the Southbound A500. We ran South through Longport and Eruria and we came off the A500 at Stoke. We went along the A52 under the railway line and forwards onto City Road up into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. In the evening Matthew went to a disco In Hanley. We set off onto Temple Streer and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed over City Road onto Manor Street. At the end of manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we ran down to Joiners Square. We crossed the roundabout and ran forwards onto Lichfield Street. We ran around the ring road and we turned right onto Broad Street and we stopped neat to Brunswick Street. We walked around the corner and Matthew went into the pub. Matthew used the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Matthew did some dancing and then returned to Fenton. We ran along Marsh Street and then we turned left onto Etruria Road. We ran down the hill to the ring road and then we joined the ring road. We ran around to the A50 and went down to Joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill and turned right into Manor Street. At the end of the road we turned right onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
