Trip to Crewe / Newcastle 11-05-2022

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 65728 on a #11 to Newcastle.

Later on we went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we saw Afford rent-a-car DS71 NCY outside there yard.

We crossed over the old Leek railway line and we turned right onto the private road on which the baths are situated By the baths we saw Christchurch Primary DU56 DNN. We continued onto Victoria Road. In Aldi Matthew picked up his weekly shop. After he had done his shopping we went to Sandbach in a Lucky Seven taxi. We set off onto Victoria Road and we ran down to joiners Square. We crossed over the roundabout and we ran forwards onto Lichfield Street. We ran up to the ring road and we ran anti-clockwise around Hanley. We turned right onto the A50 and we ran Northwards through Cobridge into Burslem past the site of the old data company which is going to be a new Lidl supermarket. and around the back of Tunstall High Street past the police station. We re-joined the High Street and ran through Sandyford. We ran through Goldenhill and down the hill into Kidsgrove. We went under the railway line and into Cheshire and we crossed over the A34 onto the B5077. We continued into Alsager and we ran forwards into Radway Green. We continued up Slaughter hill and we ran up to Haslington before running towards Crewe along the A534. We ran inti the town and past the railway station before turning right into Edleston Road. We ran into the centre of Crewe and we followed the road around onto Delamere Street. We walked past the bus station and we saw Arriva NW&W 2930 on a #38 to Macclesfield. We sat down in the chip restaurant and we order our food. Matthew went to the toilet and the food arrived. He had Chips beans and sausage with 2 round of bread and butter washed down with a cup of Coke. After we had finished eating headed back to the bus station. After we had finished we walked back through the bus station and we saw Arriva NW&W 4407 on a #84 to Chester. When we had finished we returned We got in the car and we set off onto Edleston Road and we turned left onto the A534. We ran past the railway station and we continued up towards Haslington. We turned right onto Slaughter Hill and we ran back through Radway Green and into Alsager. We continued over the A34 and into Staffordshire and we ran under the railway line into Kidsgrove. We ran up the hill into Goldenhill and we continued into Sandyford. We joined Tunstall High Street and we ran around the town centre and joined Scotia Road near to Asda. We ran up into Burslem and we continued along the A5o into Cobridge. We ran down the hill to the edge of Hanley and we went around the ring road to Lichfield Street. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we turned right onto the A52. We ran forwards past the railway station and we veered left towards Fenton. We turned left onto City Road and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Mathew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses before going out later on. He also watched buses out of the window. For tea Matthew had pasta and tuna followed by a Bakewell tart. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road. On the way to the bus stop we saw Lucky Seven SF15 GJE.

A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 69163 on a #11 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle before sitting down towards the back of the bus. The bus set off down City Road and we ran down the hill over the old railway line to Leek and onto the A52. We ran under the railway line and over the A500 and straight into Stoke town centre along Church Street. After a brief stop in Stoke we continued along church Street and forwards onto Hartshill Road. We ran up the hill and into Hartshill and in the petrol station. We ran forwards onto George Street and we ran down the hill into Newcastle. We turned left at the roundabout onto Barracks Road and into the bus station where we got up and got off the bus. We set off onto Hassell Street and we turned right onto High Street and we past . We turned left into Church Street and we turned left onto the Southbound A34 and we went under the subway on to the A34. We turned left onto the A525 and we turned right onto Stanier Street. When we got into the building Matthew went to the toilet. Afterwards Matthew went outside and went on the slide. When we had finished we said goodbye and we returned and we returned to Fenton in a taxi. We set off along Stanier Road and we turned right. We turned left onto the B5044. We turned left onto the A525 and left onto the Northbound A34. We turned right onto Ryecroft and we ran forwards onto the one-way system. We continued onto the A52 and we ran into Hartshill. At the end we turned right onto Hartshill Road. We ran down to Stoke and onto the one way system. We turned right onto Elenora Street and we followed the road around onto Copeland Street and we turned left onto Glebe Street. We turned right onto Lytton Street and we ran through onto City Road. We ran under the railway bridge and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street past the new building under construction and back to the residential unit. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Trip to Blurton / Longton 10-11-2021

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus later on and to Blurton. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting to go to the day service we saw First Potteries 69161 on a #11 to Hanley. After Matthew went for a walk to Aldi to get some shopping. We went downstairs and we set off onto City Road and we crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of Manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and and we stopped at Aldi to pickup Matthew's weekly shop. Once Matthew had finished shopping we returned to Blurton in Autocabs minibus SH58 WKV.

We set off up Victoria Road and we turned onto Manor Street. We turned right onto City Road and left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Wheildon Road and we ran forwards onto Grove Road. In Heron Cross we turned right onto Blurton Road. As we travelled through Blurton we passed First Potteries 69155 on a #22 to Longton. We continued through Blurton and we turned right onto Church Street and right onto Beaconsfield Drive. We got home When we got home For dinner Matthew had a chicken burger and fries from KFC. Later on we went to Longton. we set off through Blurton onto Finstock Avenue and we turned right onto Ripon Road where we saw Premier Travel YD63 UMC. We turned left onto the A5035 and into Longton. We ran along the high Level A50 and we turned right onto Baths Road. We parked up at Tesco and Matthew did some shopping. When had finished we set off onto baths Road and we turned right onto the A50. We ran up to Heron Cross and we turned left onto Blurton Road. We turned right onto Church Road and right onto Beaconsfield Drive getting back around 14:00. We finished off the Blog and then we went back to the residential unit in the car. We set off through Blurton onto Finstock Avenue and we turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive where we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 615. We turned left onto Church Road and left again onto Blurton Road. We went through the traffic lights onto Heron Street. We carried on forwards onto Station Bridge Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Masterson Street and we turned right onto Watkin Street. We continued onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. We went upstairs to his room and we put all his shopping in his cupboard or in the kitchen. Matthew had a can of Irn Bru. He chilled out in his room using his computer and watching buses out of the window. We saw silver minibus DS67 UMB going towards Heron Cross.

We went downstairs and got in the car. we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Baker Street and left onto Glebedale Road. At the end of the road we turned right onto City Road and sharp left onto Victoria Road at the roundabout. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and at the roundabout we went forwards onto Lichfield Street We stopped at the chips shop and Matthew had sausage chips and gravy washed down with a can of Coke. we returned to Fenton by car. We set off onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned left onto Victoria Road. We turned sharp right onto City Road and left onto Glebedale Road. We turned right onto Baker Street and left onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Masterson Street and right onto Watkin Street. We ran onto Temple Street and we parked up. We returned to the residential unit. After going upstairs and putting the shopping away Matthew went to his room. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Trip to Hanley / Normacot 22-04-2021

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and later on he was going to the dentist. He was going out on the bus and mum and dad were also coming to visit. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to the dentist, we saw Temple Street Church RX18 GZW.

We went downstair and we got in a Autocabs taxi. we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed over City Road onto Manor Street and we ran to the end. We turned left onto Victoria Road and we ran down to Joiners Square we saw City Centre Central PE12 KFP. We turned right onto the A52 and we turned left onto Ivy House Road. We turned left onto Bucknall New Road and we ran up the hill towards Hanley. We turned right onto St Anne's Road and we ran forwards onto Baskerville Road. We turned left onto Eaton Street and we stopped by the health centre. Matthew went to have his teeth checked out. Matthew went to the toilet and afterwards had his twice yearly check up. when they had finished we walked down Eaton Street and we crossed over the ring road. We walked along Old Hall Street and we turned left on Lichfield Street where we saw D&G Bus 145 on #16 to Leek.

We crossed over the ring road and we continued down Lichfield Street and to the first bus stop. We waited for a bus back towards Fenton. A short time later we saw a bus approaching... As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 37157 on a #6 to Coalville.

We got on the bus and we booked to Fenton before we went upstairs. The top deck was empty so Matthew took a picture inside First Potteries 37157 before we sat down.

The bus set off down Lichfield Street and at Joiners Square we turned right onto Leek Road due to the roadworks. We continued along Leek Road and past the railway station. We ran along side the railway line and we turned left onto City Road and up the hill into Fenton. We got up and got off the bus opposite the flats. We crossed over the road and we cut through onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and Matthew chilled out in his room. In his room Matthew had a can of Orange Tango. Later on Matthew went downstairs and went in a car to Normacot. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. We turned right onto Station Bridge Road and we continued onto Heron Street. At the traffic light we went straight onto Blurton Road and we turned left onto the Eastbound A50. We came off the A50 at Longton and we turned left onto baths Road. We continued onto Market Street and we went straight onto Uttoxeter Road. We crossed over the A50 and into Normacot. We turned left onto Meir Road and left again onto Spring Road. We turned right onto Bengry Road and we stopped at the takeaway dessert shop. We picked up chocolate flake fudge cake. Once we had the food we got in the car and we set off along Bengry Road. We turned right onto Alexandria Road and at the top corner we saw Premier Travel YD63 UMC. We turned right onto Meir Road and we ran towards Lightwood. At the roundabout we ran forwards onto Belgrave Road, We joined the Westbound A5035 and we turned right onto Drubery Lane. At the end we saw First Potteries 69167 on a #22 to Longton. We turned right onto Blurton Road and we ran through Blurton. We ran past the new petrol station and up the hill to Heron Cross where we saw Travel Express BG61 KTK. We crossed over the A50 and we ran forwards onto Heron Street. We followed the road around onto Station Bridge Road and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto Masterson Street and right onto Watkin Street. We turned right onto Temple Street and we arrived back at the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs and chilled out in his room whilst he waited for mum and dad to come and visit. Whilst he waited we saw First Potteries 69148 on a #11 to Hanley. We arrived to see Matthew and he came downstairs to the visitor room. We brough with us chicken nuggets, a cheeseburger, fries and a cup of Coke. For afters matthew had 2 Wrights manchester Tarts. Matthew looked at dad's phone and afterwards we did some of the Blog. After the visit Matthew said goodbye and went back upstairs to his room to chill out. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. He watched television and used his computer. Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
