Trip to Congleton / Hanley 07-12-2022

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out on the bus. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to Belper he watched buses out of the window. whilst waiting for the time to go to Belper and we saw First Potteries 67151 on a #11 to Hanley. After tea Matthew went for a walk to Aldi to get some shopping. We set off onto City Road and we crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we saw Copeland's Tours MIB 783. We went down the hill to Aldi. Matthew brought his shopping and then we got a lucky Seven taxi back to the residential unit. We set off onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we ran across the roundabout onto Lichfield Street and we joined the anti-clockwise ring road. We turned right onto Waterloo Road and we ran through Cobridge. We continued through to Burslem onto Scotia Road and forwards onto the Tunstall by-pass. We ran past the police station onto the top end of Tunstall High Street. We continued through Goldenhill and down the hill to Kidsgrove. We continued under the railway line and over the A34. We followed the A50 to the right and we ran Northwards to Arclid. We turned right onto the A534 and we ran forwards into Congleton town centre. we stopped at the pub and Matthew went to the toilet. For dinner Matthew had a Fried buttermilk chicken burger with fries followed by cheesecake. When it was time to go back we set off Westwards out of town and onto the A34. We turned around and went back into town and we joined the Southbound A527. We travelled back down the road around Biddulph and through Brindley Ford. We ran up the hill to Chell and we turned left onto High Lane. We ran into through Smallthorne and we ran through Sneyd Green and Birches Head. We followed the road to the left down the hill through Northwood and onto Limekiln Bank. We joined the A52 and we ran to Joiners square where we turned left onto Victoria Road. and we ran up to the top of the hill. We turned sharp right onto City Road and we ran down to Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and watch buses out of the window whilst he waited for us to take him out for tea. We went downstairs and we set off on foot to the bus stop. We walked onto City Road and we saw Afford rent-a-car YO70 ASZ outside there yard.

We stood at the bus stop outside the flats and we waited for a bus to Hanley. Whilst we waited we saw First Potteries 67175 on a #11 to Newcastle. A few minutes later we saw a bus approaching. As it got closer we saw it was First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Hanley.

We got on the bus and we booked to Hanley before sitting down towards the back of the bus. We sat down ear to the back of the bus and the bus set off down City Road and we joined the A52 to go under the railway line and over the A500. We continued onto Church Street. and into the centre of Stoke. After a brief stop we continued around the one-way system onto Elenora Steet and right onto Copeland street. We turned left onto Glebe Street and we went under the railway line before turning left onto Station Road. We went past the railway station and due to roadworks we ran to the end of Station Road and turned right. We ran up Stoke Road and we turned right onto Avenue Road. At the roundabout we turned left onto College Road. After running the hill through Shelton we continued onto Cleveland Road and forwards onto Regent Road. We turned left onto Lower Bethesda Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Bethesda Street before we turned right onto John Street and into bus station. We got up and got off and we walked up Lichfield Street and we went forwards onto Old Hall Street past the town hall and onto Old Hall Street. We walked down Broad Street. We ran down the hill and over the ring road onto Sun Street and stopped. We walked to a unit and we went to Truninja. Matthew had a session in the play area and returned to walked. We set off along Sun Street and we turned left onto Broad Street and we crossed over the ring road onto Piccadilly and we walked up Stafford Street. We walked through Percy Street and across onto Parliament Row. We stopped at McDonalds and we had tea. Matthew had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. When we had finished we walked along Parliament Row and we returned to Fenton in a taxi. We set off along Parliament Row and we turned left ontoOld Hall Street and we turned right onto the clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and past the new Lidl. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we turned right onto the A52. We turned left onto city Road and right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going out later on. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast for breakfast. before Matthew went to the day centre he watched buses out of the window. Whilst waiting for the time to go to the day centre, we saw First Potteries 67655 on a #11 to Newcastle. We went downstairs and we set off onto Temple Street. In the distance we saw Temple Street church minibus RX18 GZW. We carried on along Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We waited for a bus towards Birdwell. After a short wait we saw Shelton Care Group LT21 UVM. We got on on the bus and we set off onto Christchurch Street and right onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street. At Heron Cross we went Eastwards along the A50. We joined the Eastbound A50 and we ran through Longton. We continued along the A50 through Blythe Bridge and Uttoxeter. We ran Eastwards the A38 to the motorway and we got onto the North bound M1. We came off the A61 at Birdwell and we saw Stagecoach Yorkshire 10657 on a #66 to Barnsley. We turned right onto the A6195 and we turned left onto Kestrel Way and we stopped at the McDonalds. Matthew went to the toilet and had a burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. When we had finished we returned to Fenton on Shelton Care Group LT21 UVM. We set off onto Kestrel Way and we turned right onto the Southbound A6195. We ran forwards onto the A61 and at the end we joined the Southbound M1. We ran down through South Yorkshire and Derbyshire to the junction of the A50 and then we went Westwards nearby Uttoxeter and Blythe Bridge. We ran down to Heron Cross and we came off the A50. We ran along Heron Street and forwards onto Station Bridge Road. We ran forwards onto Glebedale Road. once we got back we returned to the residential unit. We walked onto Christchurch Street and down Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room and chilled out on his computer. Another vehicle seen was First Potteries 69160 on a #11 to Hanley. Matthwe went into the living room and we saw Temple Street Church RX18 GZW.

For tea Matthew had Shepherds pie followed by a Manchester Tart. on Matthew went downstairs in car we set off along Christchurch Street and right onto City Road. We ran through Fenton and Foley and under the railway bridge into Longton. We ran around the one way system of Market street and Commerce Street and onto the Strand. We must have been going in the wrong direction as we turned left onto Gold Street and forwards onto Heathcote Street. We ran along the high level A50 before crossing over the A50 and going left onto the A5005 towards Lightwood. We ran over the roundabout and then turned right into the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Matthewwent to the soft play area and then returned to Fenton on by car. We ran Northwards up the A5005 and we crossed over the A50. We ran down The Strand and under the railway bridge onto King Street. We ran through Foley and Fenton and forwards onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left again onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chilled out in his room. He used his computer and watched buses out of the window. We saw Afford Rent-A-car YO70 ASZ in their garage.
