Today Matthew was going to the pub for his tea, but not before he had been to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had a sausage sandwich and orange juice for breakfast. Just before 09:00 his transport to his day service turned up and it was Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU.

We got on the bus and we set off onto the A5035 and we crossed over the railway line into Trentham. We turned right into New Inn Lane and right again into Pacific Drive. After we picked up another service user we headed back onto New Inn Lane and then onto the A5035. We turned left at Church Road and then we went Forwards onto Blurton Road through Blurton and across the A50. We went through Heron Cross and onto Heron Street. Having crossed the railway line we Turned left onto Christchurch Street and to our destination. In the morning Matthew went bowling. Transport for the journey was on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. We ran down the hill and we turned right onto the A52. We ran along side the railway line and then we ran forwards onto Station Road. At the end of Station Road we turned right onto Stoke Road where we saw Roseville BV60 BAA. We ran up the hill through Shelton. We stopped briefly at the other day centre before we continued up Snow Hill and onto the clockwise ring road. We stopped at Tesco and we went brought some shopping. We ran down to Etruria Road and we turned left. We went under the A53 and into Festival Park. Matthew and a few other service users went bowling. After they had finished Matthew went to the toilet before they got back into Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set of up Pavilion Drive an we stopped at KFC. We then returned back down under the A53 and onto Etruria Drive. We ran anti-clockwise around the ring road and onto Lichfield Street. At Joiners Square we crossed over the roundabout onto Victoria Road. We stopped at McDonald for Matthew dinners and then we continued up Victoria Road. We turned right onto Maud Street. We continued along Edwards Street and George Street onto Manor Street and at the end we turned right onto City Road. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and right again onto Temple Street. We then turned right onto Christchurch Street and we returned to the day centre. Matthew ate his dinner which was burger and fries washed down with a cup of Coke. In the afternoon Matthew went to the Cobridge on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. We turned left onto Victoria Road and we run down the hill to Joiners Square. We continued onto Lichfield Street and we ran up to the ring road. We ran anti-clockwise around Hanley and and into Hanley on Town Road. We ran down Quadrant Road and then around the one way system in town. We left Hanley on the A5006 and forwards onto Waterloo Road. We passed through the light at Cobridge and then continued towards Burslem. We turned right onto Adelaide Street and right onto Nile Street. We turned left onto hot lane then sharp right onto Sandbach Road. We joined the A53 and at Cobridge lights we turned left onto Waterloo Road. We ran back to Hanley and then we went clockwise around Hanley. We went down Lichfield Street and then we turned left onto Bernards Street. We ran down Eastwood Road and we turned right onto Franklyn Street. We went forwards onto Hampton Street and to the pub. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Highlights of the bus sighting included First Potteries 63172 on a #6A to Hanley. Matthew listened to music on the Jukebox with track including Eminem. When it was time to go home Matthew climbed aboard Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU. We went along Palmerston Street and we turned right onto the A52 where we saw City Cabs PE11 RWY. At Joiners Square roundabout we crossed over and continued along the A52 into Stoke. We ran along side the railway line before following the road right under the bridge. We got onto the Southbound A500 and we saw Shearings coach 855. At Hanford we came off the A500 onto the A34. We turned left onto Church lane and then right onto Wilson Road. As we ran down New Inn Lane we saw First Potteries 67639 on a #22 to Newcastle. After dropping off another service user we continued onto the A5035. We crossed over the railway line and we ran into Blurton. We got home just before 15:00... Matthew took another picture of Shelton Care Group DV10 JCU before it continued back to the day centre.

Matthew had toast and a glass of orangeade whilst he waited for the time to go out and catch the bus. Today we went to catch the 16:26 to Newcastle. We had seen the bus earlier in the day and it was First Potteries 67642. We set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. Whilst we waited for the we saw Jayjay's Travel minibus BG08 AET.

The bus turned the corner and it was as expected First Potteries 67642 on a #22 to Newcastle.

We got on the bus and we booked to Harpfield Road before we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035 and we ran over the railway line into Trentham and we saw First Potteries 67602 on a #22 to Longton. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we ran into Hanford, catching up with First Potteries 67156 on a #21A to Hanley. We turned right into Wilson Road and we passed First Potteries 67158 on a #21A to Trentham Gardens and First Potteries 67641 on the final #22 turn to Longton. We ran down Church Lane and we joined the A34 and we saw white minibus R2 OGO. As we waited to go under the A500 we saw an unidentified Scraggs 70 seater coach join the Northbound A500. After running under the A500 into Trent Vale passing First Potteries 67159 on a #21 to the Trentham Hotel. We turned right onto Harpfields Road where we got up and got off the bus. Matthew took another First Potteries 67642 before it carried on towards Newcastle.

We walked back onto the A34 and we sat on the wall by the pub whilst we waited for mum to arrive. whilst we waited we saw E-zec patient transport SF16 EFZ going South.

MUm appeared and then we went into the pub. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included ABC Supreme's new minibus KX13 DZE, Stanton's of Stoke coach WA08 JVX going North, as well as First Potteries 66851 on a Southbound #101 service to Stafford and First Potteries 65003 running South not in service. When it was time to go we got in the car to go pick up uncle Dave. We ran down the A34 and we got onto the Northbound A500. At Sideway we went East on the A50. We came off the A50 at Heron Cross. We then dropped down into Fenton to pick up uncle Dave. We then headed back up to Heron Cross and we crossed the A50 and into Blurton. We ran along Blurton Road where we saw First Potteries 67602 on a #22 to Longton. We turned right onto Church Road and then we turned right into Beaconsfield Drive. We got home around 18:00. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we sorted a few things out. We had to drop something off around the corner so we got in the car and we drove onto Finstock Avenue and then right onto Newbury Grove before returning the way we came. Afterwards we chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
