Today Matthew was in residential and he was going to his day service. Matthew was also going to Blurton later and also to Newcastle to visit Grandma. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. In the morning Matthew went out on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. We ran up to the roundabout and we did a u-turn and went back down City Road. We ran down the hill to the A52 and we turned right towards the railway station. We went forwards onto Station Road and we turned right onto College Road and we saw Intercity AK08 FOA. We ran up the hill through Shelton and forwards onto Cleveland Road. We continued onto Regent Road and we turned left onto Lichfield Street. We joined the anti-clockwise ring road and we ran around to Town Road. We crossed over the ring road and we ran out of town and onto the A5272 towards Sneyd Green where we saw City Cabs ND58 EDJ. We ran over Smallthorne roundabout onto High Lane and we turned left onto Greenbank Road. We ran down the hill and we stopped at Tunstall park. Matthew went to the toilet and then went to the cafe and Matthew had a can of Coke. After a stop we got back on Shelton care Group DY08 FFX to go to Festival Park. We set off onto Queens Avenue and we ran up towards Tunstall. We turned followed the A5271 left at the junction and we ran down to Scotia Road. We ran through Burslem and into Cobridge and at the lights we turned left onto the A53. We ran down to the roundabout and we turned right onto Festival Way. We stopped at the bowling alley and and we had a game of bowling. We then returned to Fenton on Shelton care Group DY08 FFX. We crossed under the A53 and we ran forwards onto Etruria Road. We turned right onto the anti-clockwise ran road and we ran around to Lichfield Street. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and at the roundabout we went forwards onto Victoria Road. We ran up the hill and we stopped at Subway to pick up some food. We then continued up Victoria Road and we turned right onto Manor Street. We turned right onto William Street and left onto Hitchman Street. We then re-joined Victoria Road and we ran forwards onto City Road and forwards onto King Street. We stopped at the Angel Chip shop to pick up some more food. Once we had picked up the food we ran along Park Street and onto Warrington Street. We turned left onto Wileman Street and then we re-joined Victoria Road. We turned sharp right at he roundabout onto City Road and left onto Glededale Road and back to the day centre. For dinner Matthew had sausage chips and gravy. In the afternoon Matthew went to the pub. We set off onto Christchurch Street and to the pub. Matthew used the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. When we had finished in the pub we walked back along Christchurch Street and to the day centre. When it was time to go back to the residential unit we set off onto Christchurch Street and we turned left onto Temple Street. Matthew went back up to his room to wait for me to arrive to pick him up. When I turned up we put a few things that he needed in his bag. We set off in the car onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street. At the end we turned right onto Station Bridge Road and we crossed over the railway line. We ran forwards Heron Street and we went through Heron Cross and over the A50. We ran into Blurton along Blurton Road and we veered right onto Church Street. We turned right onto Beaconsfield drive and we got back to Blurton around 15:15. When we got home Matthew had toast and a drink of dandelion & burdock. We had planned to go to Grandma's on the 15:56 which I had seen earlier and was booked to be First Potteries 67649. Just before 16:00 we set off on foot to the bus stop all the way onto Magdalen Road. Whilst we waited for our bus we saw First Potteries 67633 was on a #22 to Longton.

We also saw E-zec patient transport YJ16 GHV going towards the A5035.

A few minutes later our bus appeared and it was dud First Potteries 67649 as expected.

We got on the bus and we booked to Newcastle and we sat down towards the back of the bus. We set off onto the A5035 and we ran over the railway line into Trentham. We passed First Potteries 67153 on a #21 to Trentham Gardens. We turned right into New Inn Lane and we ran up the hill. We entered Hanford and we turned right into Wilson Road. We turned left into Church Lane and we joined the A34 and we saw white minibus BJ12 XTR. As we crossed under the A500 we saw Schapers Kiepenkerl Reisen coach ST WS 549 coming off the A500. We then headed into Trent Vale and we turned right into Harpfields Road we continued onto Hilton Road and we saw D&G 109 on a 'Nines' service to Biddulph. We turned left into the hospital and we saw ABC Supreme minibus ST56 MUE & First Potteries 32649 on a #25 to Hanley. We turned right onto the A34 passing First Potteries 65036 on a #101 to Stafford, and a couple of stops down the road we got up and got off the bus. Once we had crossed over the A34 we went up the hill where we saw white minibus YK08 PVA. We continued up continued up to Grandma's house. At Grandma's Matthew had a can of Irn Bru and used her computer. We said goodbye to Grandma around 17:30. We set off onto Victoria Street and we turned left onto the A34. We ran down into Trent Vale. We stopped at the pub and we went inside. Matthew had a brunch with oatcakes followed by toffee sponge pudding with ice cream. Whilst we ate highlights of the passing buses included First Potteries 65037 on a #101 to Stafford, First Potteries 67604 on the final #22 turn towards Newcastle and white minibus DK66 AMU. When it was time to go we got in the car to go pick up uncle Dave. We ran down the A34 and we got onto the Northbound A500. At Sideway we got onto the Eastbound A50. We came of the A50 at Heron Cross and we dropped down into Fenton to pick uncle Dave up. Once we had picked him up we returned to Heron Cross and we crossed the A50. We ran along Blurton Road and right onto Church Road. We turned right onto Beaconsfield Drive. We got home around 19:10. Matthew chilled out on his computer and we composed a few e-mails and sorted a few things out. We then chilled out on the sofa until bedtime around 00:00... Mark
