Trip to Alton Towers / Hanley 10-01-2018

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. He was also going out on the bus to Alton Towers later as well as visiting uncle Dave. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Outside the residential unit was Shelton care Group DY08 FFX.

We set off onto Temple Street and we turned right onto Christchurch Street and to the day centre. In the morning Matthew went to Alton Towers it was Intercity OV58 YJE. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned right onto City Road. We ran forwards onto King Street and through Foley and into Longton. We continued onto Market street and we turned left onto Anchor Road. We turned right onto Sutherland Road and then we turned left onto Weston Coyney Road. at the end of the road we turned left onto the A520. We ran up the fast section of the road and into Cellarhead before turning right onto the A52. We ran up to Kingsley Moor and we followed the A52 to the left into Kingsley village. We turned left and we ran along Holt Lane. We turned left onto the B5417 and we ran through Oakamoor. We turned right onto below lane and we ran the last mile or so to Alton Towers. Matthew used the toilet. He had a glass of Coke. After spending time around the park doing stuff the park was closed so we walked around the grounds around the lake For dinner Matthew had egg sandwiches followed by a Bakewell tart.. we returned to the minibus. We set off along Wootton lane and we ran back to the B5417. We ran Westwards to Cheadle. We went onto the A521 and we ran Northwards up to Kingsley Moor. We continued onto the A52 and we ran up to Cellarhead. We went straight through the traffic lights and we ran through Werrington onto Ash Bank. We continued down the hill to Bucknall and we ran up the hill into Hanley. We parked up and we walked onto parliament Row and we stopped at the Pound baker to pick up sausage rolls. After we had finished there we walked down the alleyway next to Waterstones and we turned left onto Tontine street. We stopped at Subway for cup of pepsi max. Once we had finished there we returned to Intercity OV58 YJE for the journey back to Fenton. We set off onto Lichfield street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We turned right onto the A52 and we ran towards Stoke railway station. We verrred left onto the A52 and we ran alongside the railway line. We turned left onto City Road and we ran up the hill into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road. We turned left into Temple Street and we returned to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to his room to chill out and use his computer. He also watched buses out of the window. We saw Harry Shaws KOV 2 going towards Stoke.

A short time later we saw First Potteries 67151 on a #23 to Hanley.

A few minutes later we saw D&G Bus 114 on a #1A to Park Site.

Finally we saw First Potteries 63173 on a #11 to Newcastle.

Matthew went for a walk to Aldi to get some shopping. We set off onto City Road and we saw First Potteries 53041 on a #23 to Newstead.

We crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road As we walked towards the shop we saw Copeland Tours MIB 978 going towards Longton.

We carried on down the hill to Aldi. Matthew brought his shopping and then we got a Autocabs taxi back to the residential unit. We set off onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill. We turned right onto Manor Street and right onto City Road. We turned right onto Christchurch Street and right onto Masterson Street. and right onto Masterson Street. and right Temple Street. and back to the residential unit. Matthew went upstairs to chill out and use his computer. Later on Matthew went to uncle Daves in a car. We set off along Temple Street and left onto Smithpool Road we saw First Potteries 67154 on a #23A to Hanley. The people taking Matthew to uncle Dave's got a bit lost and turned right onto Wheildon Road. Matthew directed them to uncle Dave's house. For tea Matthew had chicken potatoes and carrots. later on he had a drink of Tango orange and a few digestive biscuits. Matthew chill out in uncle Dave's house using his computer and watching television. Uncle Dave also did his DJ set. A couple of hours later staff came to escort Matthew back home. We set off onto Whieldon Road and we turned onto Willowdale Avenue. We crossed the spare ground and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned right onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
