Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. Later on Matthew was going out for tea with mum and dad. It was also the first day of a new operator for #436 Shrewsbury to Bridgnorth bus service now operated by Arriva Midlands. Matthew got up and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting for time to got to the day centre Matthew spent time in his room watching buses. We saw First Potteries 63174 on a #11 to Hanley. Outside was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

When it was time to go out we went it was Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We turned left onto City Road and we ran down the hill onto the A52. We went under the railway line and we joined the Southbound A500. We came off the A500 at Hanford and we went South down the A34. We turned right onto Whitmore Road and we ran up to the A519. We crossed over the A519 onto the A5182 and we ran to the end, tutrning left onto the A53. We ran South-westwards down the A53 through Whitmore and Balwins Gate. We crossed the A51 by The Swan With Two Necks and we continued down the A53 through Loggerheads and around the North side of Market Drayton. At Tern Hill we turned left onto the A41 and we ran Southwards down to Newport. We ran around the by-pass and we turned right onto the A518. We ran Southwards through Donnington to Trench and we joined the Southbound A442. We continued through Telford and Madeley and down to Bridgenorth. We ran into town and we parked up at the pub on Mill Street. Matthew went to the toilet and then had a glass of Coke. Matthew had bbq ribs and chicken with chips followed by a chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When we had finished we returned to Fenton on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. As we left we saw Arriva Midlands 2744 on a #436 to Shrewsbury. We also saw Arriva Midlands 3705 on a #113 to Telford. We ran Northwards up the A442 up to Telford and we turned left onto Queen Elizabeth Way. We turned right onto St Quentin Gate and we ran past Telford bus station where we saw Arriva Midlands 2574 on a #9 to Wolverhampton. We re arund the shopping centre onto Hollinsgate and we re-joined the Northbound A442. We ran Northwards up to Trench and we turned right onto the A518. We ran up to the South end of Newport and we joined the Northbound A41 to by-pass the town. We turned right onto the A519 and we ran up to Eccleshall. We continued Northwards through the town and we crssoed over the A51. We continued Northwards to Hanchurch and we joined the Northbound A500. We ran up to Stoke and we came off the A500. We turned right onto City Road and we ran under the railway line into Fenton. We turned right onto Smithpool Road and we turned left onto Temple Street back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and use his computer. He also watched buses out of the window. We saw First Potteries 67155 on a #23 to Hanley.

A few minutes later we saw Lucky Seven minibus PY15 GTP going towards Longton.

At the residential unit we had just taken delivery of a new pedal bin the the bathroom. We saw D&G Bus 113 on a #1 to Meir.

A short while later we came to pick Matthew up to take him out for tea. We set off in the car onto Temple Street and we turned left onto Christchurch Street. We crossed over the City Road onto Manor Street and at the end we turned left onto Victoria Road. We ran down the hill to Joiners Square and we crossed over the roundabout onto Lichfield Street. We ran up the hill to the edge of Hanley and then we joined the anti-clockwise ring road. We joined town road and we crossed over the ring-road and headed out of town towards Birches Head. We joinmed the A5272 and we travelled Northwards through Sneyd Green up to Smallthorne. At the roundabouts we turned left onto Sneyd Hill and we ran down the hill where we saw Stanton's of Stoke LRV 731. We conitued to Captain Kooks and we parked up. We went in and we chose a table by the window. We ordered our food and Matthew had an all dwy breakfast washed down with a small bottle of Coke. He also helped mum eat some of her chips and gravy with bread and butter. When we had finished eating we set of up to Smallthorne to drop a few things off. We ran up Sneyd hill and we joined the Northbound A5272. We ran across the roundabouts onto High Lane. and we turned left onto Shaftsbury Avenue. After a quick stop we continued down the hill and turned left onto Doll'y Lane. We continued onto Stanfield Road and we crossed over Hamil Road onto Park Road. We ran onto Minster Street and we turned left onto Bowden Street. We turned right onto Dartmouth Street and we turned left to re-join Park Road. At the end we turned left onto Moorland Road. We crossed over the roundabout onto Ford Green Road and we turned left onto Fell Street. We turned right onto Coseley Street and we ran down the hill onto Duddell Road. We stopped briefly on a side street and then we ran down to Chell Heath Road. We turned right towards the traffic lights and then right again onto Ford Green Road. We ran up the hill and made a brief stop before continuing up the the roundabouts. We turned left onto the A5272 and we ran through Sneyd Green into Birches Head. We ran into Hanley and we joined the clockwise ring road. We turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran down the hill to Joiners Square. We turned right onto the A52 and we ran towards the railway station passing Roseville WG10 DFV outside thie new base. We followed the A52 alongside the railway line and we turned left onto City Road. We ran up the hill into Fenton and we turned right onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple Street and back to the residential unit. When we got back we wentt up to Matthew's room. We spent some time writing some of the Blog and after 30 minutes or so we said goodbye to Matthew. Later on Matthew chilled out in his room. Matthew used his computer and watched music videos on the television. Later on Matthew had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
