Trip to Congleton / Meir Park 14-02-2018

Today Matthew was in the residential unit and he was going to his day service. Matthew got up around 08:00 and had toast and orange juice for breakfast. Whilst waiting for time to got to the day centre Matthew spent time in his room watching buses. We saw First Potteries 63099 on a #11 to Newcastle. Around 09:00 we set off on foot to the day centre. We walked onto Temple Street and right onto Christchurch Street. We continued to the day centre and we saw Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX.

In the morning Matthew we to the Congleton on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Glebedale Road and we turned left onto City Road. We turned right onto the A52 and we ran near to the railway station and towards Joiners Square. At the roundabout we turned left onto Lichfield Street and we ran up to the ring road. We went around town anti-clockwise and we ran onto Waterloo Road. We ran through Cobridge into Burslem and we continued through town onto Scotia Road. We turned left onto Williamson Street and at the end we turned right onto Tunstall High Street. We continued through town through Goldenhill into Kidsgrove. We continued North through Church Lawton into Rode Heath and out the other side We passed the Stanway's depot were we saw Stanway's JIG 8878. We turned right onto Church Lane. At the end we turned left onto the A34 and we ran to the edge of Congleton. We turned left onto Padgbury Lane and we stopped at the pub. Matthew had a chicken burger and fries with a glass of Coke. He also had chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When we had finished we returned to Fenton on Shelton Care Group DY08 FFX. We set off onto Padgbury lane and we joined the Southbound A34. We ran South for a few mile past Kidsgrove and Talke Pits and we followed the road to the left and down to Talke where we joined the Southbound A500. We ran South through Longport and Eruria and we came off the A500 at Stoke. We went along the A52 under the railway line and forwards onto City Road up into Fenton. We turned right into Smithpool Road and left into Temple Street and back to the residential unit. Matthew went up to his room to chill out and use his computer. We also looked out of the window watching buses. We saw Grocott Centre EU09 LTY going towards Stoke.

A few minutes later we saw grey minibus SB66 FZW heading towards Longton.

Afterwards we saw Afford rent-a-car WM17 LND going towards Longton.

Later on Matthew went for a walk to Aldi to get some shopping. We set off onto City Road and we saw Stanton's of Stoke KXZ 2173 going towards Stoke.

A short while later we saw D&G Bus 134 on a #1 to Park Site.

We crossed over and onto Manor Street. At the end of Manor Street we turned left onto Victoria Road and we went down the hill to Aldi. Matthew brought his shopping and then we got a Lucky Seven taxi back to the residential unit. We set off onto Victoria Road and we ran up the hill. We turned right onto Manor Street and right onto Hallam Street. We turned right onto Elsing Road and we saw Afford rent-a-car MK67 UEJ in their yard. We turned right onto City Road. We turned left onto Smithpool Road and left again onto Temple Street. We then went back to the back to the residential unit. We got in the car and set off onto Temple Street. We turned right onto Christchurch Street and right onto Station Bridge Road. We followed the road around onto Heron Street. We went through the traffic lights and we turned left onto the A50. We ran through Longton and into Meir. We went passed the Copeland's Tours depot. We turned right onto Lysander Road and we parked up at The Weather Vane. Matthew went to the toilet and then we found our table. We ordered the food and Matthew had a glass of Coke whilst we waited. Matthew had a burger and fries chicken fillet and an egg as well as some steak. For dessert Matthew had a chocolate fudge cake and ice cream. When we had finished eating we went back to the car and returned to Fenton. We set off onto Lysander Road and we saw First Potteries 63173 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge. We joined the Westbound A50 and we ran fast to Longton. We came off onto the high level A50 and we turned right onto Baths Road. We saw First Potteries 63178 on a #6 to Hanley. We ran down King Street we saw First Potteries 63174 on a #6A to Blythe Bridge. We continued down onto City Road and we turned left onto Smithpool Road. We turned left onto Temple street and we we returned to the residential unit. Matthew went back to the room and went on his computer. Later he had a bath and then had toast for supper. He then chilled out in his room until bedtime around 23:00... Mark.
